On this week's Indiecast, hosts Steven Hyden and Ian Cohen share their thoughts on the undeniably fascinating album (31:26) and wonder if the rapper's name alone will secure him a spot on Album Of The Year lists. In terms of music news this week, Indiecast discusses the other much-anticipated album this week: Harry Styles' Harry's House (3:58). For them, is travel just a necessary evil – something they have to do just to please their fans and find new audiences– or does it actually helps them shape and influence their music? So, on this podcast episode we ask Sumi Choi, lead singer of Korean band Say Sue Me, to tell us about her favourite destination, Philidelphian poet and rapper Moor Mother reveals why she prefers planes over trains, and the seasoned travellers of jazz trio Phronesis explain the importance of having an understanding family back home. Since the fall of 2012, Zandari Festa has brought Korean, expat and international musical acts to Hongdae, an area of Seoul known to be the indie music capital of South Korea. This year's Zandari Festa took place from September 30 to October 3 with a reported 160 plus acts performing at a dozen venues, with what seemed to be a larger focus on bands from England and France than in previous years. Korea FM’s Chance Dorland spoke with British act “Atlas Wynd” and Busan’s “Say Sue Me” after their performances in Hongdae.
