Regardless, the life of the Betz family was thrown in to chaos as the media got hold of this story and sooner or later, Dr J. Allen Hynek got involved. The Navy also took a special interest. The extraterrestrial comedy podcast where we probe the ancient First Nation legend of the Adlet. This cryptid is half-human, half-dog and totally crazy. The creature originates from a dalliance between a lady and a dog and from there, it doesn't get much better. Are these monsters friend or foe? Are Adlet deadly fighters or are they too distractible because some doggy needs simply can't be silenced? Another possibility is that these things are mixed up with the legend of the Dogman and that of the Werewolf. Or perhaps all these creatures are the same thing? Mr Moonwalker tries to explain this one away but he simply can't deny the FACTS. The extraterrestrial comedy podcast where we probe the life and times and afterlife and after times of legendary Gentleman Pirate, Stede Bonnet. Stede is kind of renowned in the 2020's as having been a bit of a cr*p pirate, but was Stede really that bad? We'll find out for in this episode we will probe all that Stede got up to from his early life to Stede's marriage, possible difficulties that Stede had going on as outlined by North Carolina Maritime Museum archaeologist David Moore and that nagging feeling that Stede had. The call of the seas, if you will. Stede would answer that call and we have lots of records of the booty-looting Stede got up to from that point onwards. Along the way, as we've covered before, Stede got a little help from his friends. Well, an allegedly true friend, if you will (again). A black bearded friend, if you will, will, will (again, again). But when the heat would be on, the fleet would be gone for that friend had a cunning plan. Stede does not appear to have been party to that plan. But what happened to Stede after that? Stede held a grudge and revenge prospers no person it would appear because two shakes of a Stede later, Stede would be begging for his own life. There may also have been a cunning escape somewhere along the line and this one was the stuff of movies. Ultimately though, Stede would succumb to a grizzly death and be left to roam the world… All that and more on this week's file.     Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/butitwasaliens   Store: https://butitwasaliens.co.uk/shop/     Probe us: Email: butitwasaliens@gmail.com Instagram/Threads @ ButItWasAliens Twitter @ ButItWasAliens Facebook: @ ButItWasAliens - join Extraterrestrial Towers     Music:  Music created via Garageband. The paranormal comedy podcast where we probe the dancing plague. All through history and most famously in Strasbourg, a market town in the Holy Roman Empire during 1518, dancing mania, has struck. The dancing plague has afflicted and possibly been responsible for the death of up to 15 people per day, effecting up to 400 people in total on one occasion over the course of a few months. But what caused it? Some accounts tie the Strasbourg event all back to one person, Frau aka Mrs Troffea. Frau, had the moves and not just like Jagger oh no no for Frau, Electric Slided in to a Time Warp as she showed the town how to Dougie. It turns out that dance is infectious and the town would need to come up with some quite creative ways to stop that plague from spreading. What this doesn't tell us however is what struck Frau? The paranormal comedy podcast where we probe a Wizard's Curse. The sheriffs of Salem have been inflicted by a strange coincidence of health difficulties over the centuries since one Giles Corey was pressed, literally, for a plea during the Salem witch trials. Giles was an honourable and trustworthy man who may, or may not, have held strong for their family. But before then, was Giles born at the age of three? In probing this case, we discover that olden times law is crazy and olden times court, is absolutely wild. The things that went down in court were utterly crazy but went down they did for we have documented evidence of today's episode. We know that Giles met a horrid demise above 80 years of age during 1692 and we know beyond doubt, that Giles placed a curse on Salem as Giles passed away. For Giles was a wizard. Alongside the case, we uncover how to create a ham monster. We also discover how the honourable and trustworthy deal with the loss of a loved one. Meanwhile how can we explain that a seer, a prophet, a knower-of-all predicted that Atlantis would be found just off North Bimini Island, shortly before unusual remains were found in this exact location? Can water really erode rock at exact right angles or do we know the truth? Was Plato's account (or do we mean Plate's account) allegedly true, or in fact factual? The extraterrestrial comedy podcast where we probe Atlantis. Plato told of an ancient civilisation that went to war with Athens. But what happened to this land? Does evidence remain today? Should it be so hard to find considering that Plato told us roughly where this land was? We know that Troy has been ‘discovered' so should we really be so skeptical about Atlantis? There's a bit of sidetracking (as always) and clearly The Little Mermaid is not a well of knowledge Greybeard and Moonwalker have ever drunk from. Anyway… If Atlantis existed approximately 11,000 years ago as per Plato aka 9,000 Before Common Era, could any evidence have actually survived to this day? Lots of folks including Nazi's and James Cameron have got in on the search. But what is that search is misplaced? What if the evidence isn't left behind in land, structures and artefacts? Founder of the ZetaTalk website Nancy Lieder certainly would be because aliens warned Nancy about Nibiru's upcoming passing, they they didn't seem entirely sure on the date. What Nancy seems to be clear on though is that Planet X/Nine/Nibiru is responsible for the earths pole shift. Another thing that may or may not be associated with Planet Nine is the Anunnaki - did the Annunaki visit ancient Sumerians, perhaps developing a slave race to mine before departing as their planet passed? Could Anunnaki input explain rapid advancements in human technology such as sandals? There may be evidence of this left behind even today. Alongside that, we ponder… How many points does Mr Moonwalker have, exactly? Can Colossus eat planets like Bray Wyatt and is Galactus metal? Oh and we also solve String Theory. Herbert would see a UFO and once Herbert called it in, Herbert may have lost time. You know what that means. On the note of lost time, we may solve that shocking conundrum during this episode… On the note of solving things, the Condon Committee were at hand to investigate this one at the time alongside a certain favourite of the show regression hypnotherapist. This allegedly extraterrestrial incident resulted in the most amazing photo of a UFO presently known (at time of recording in 2023). The witnesses to this amazing event dived in to a bush. If you saw what may be aliens, would you dive in to the bush? What the witnesses actually saw was a diamond, structured craft in the sky being circled by Air Force jets and being in the bush allowed the witnesses to take a sneaky photograph. What happened to the witnesses who took the photo though? We take a gander at that photo and come up with our own theories as to what the craft is aka go over the common theories - military, or aliens? Can we believe that our military have this kind of technology, with instant acceleration to Mach 5 and higher, without suffering the effects of G-force, crazy technology, yet haven't used this for nefarious world-conquering purposes?  We have a lot of evidence for this one but we're still none the wiser. This one also involves photographic evidence. Sadly, the aliens don't show up in photos though so we won't be studying any photographic evidence during this episode. These aliens were luminous yet did not illuminate their surroundings. Were they visiting from another plane of existence? On the note of questions, questions pondered today include how can a lake disappear? If it did, would you photograph it? How do you express during a game of chess that you have achieved checkmate? Should we release a shirt that says ‘Checkmate, Bi*ch' to wear to school chess tournaments? The weather in Brazil during November 2008 was surprisingly British by the way. You see dear listener, Boris was born on Mars and just so happened to be a pilot before nuclear war put all that to ruins and Boris was recreated here on earth. Unusually though, Boris could remember his previous life and his phenomenal feats from an early age stunned his family and university professors. These feats could include being able to lift his own head up through only the power of Boris' neck and an extremely detailed knowledge of space systems before Boris was even in high school… All this would go on to Boris developing the ability of foresight or maybe even five-sight because Boris, begun sharing prophecies for the future of humankind. Could Boris truly see the future? Boris was studied by scientists and you know that you can trust science. The thing with prophecies though is that when you try to show off and get a little too specific, things tend to fall apart. Rotating like the seasons in the ambiguous and overwrought ending of Mega Man 2, the turntable has again come round to another episode of Video Game Grooves. No reason to despair, we're not dead (unlike Mega Man at the end of Mega Man 2), but rather we're here for another episode of our famously overwrought podcast for you to enjoy!  This time we get equipped with guest host Brock Wilbur, as he takes a breather from releasing his new book in the Boss Fight Books series, this time about Postal! In this episode we take a new tack with our feature as we devote our entire session to Mega Man 1-11: The Collection from Laced Records. We get to take our time and get out into the weeds with some of the more admirable traits of a "full series" musical take on Mega Man, but of course there are always some oddball robot masters in the attic, and we trot them out for all to see. We discuss the breadth of the iconic series and delve into some of the more obscure areas of the series, developmentally and musically. Anthony, Brock, Paul and Jeremy all have their particular spins on the records AND the robots of one of Capcom's flagship series... we just hope we're doing it all in the right order. After the feature, we head into news and new releases, deftly getting you the info you need to justify your expenses to whatever degree you choose or don't... it's enabling behavior, we know, but it's just one more service we provide to you. Finally, we get out of robot mode and sit down to talk about our feelings, and just what (emotionally-speaking) draws us to our record shelf instead of other outlets for passing time. We learn a lot about life, love, and each other. And we hope you do too. Do you hear that sound? Can you feel it? The cool ocean breeze in your hair, the salt on your tongue. It's the smooth crash of the Last Wave on KVGM with your host, Hammock, bringing you thirty minutes of the best video game jams(z) from all your favorite composers and consoles, each and every week from our beachside studio in sunny Aqua City Island. Sit back, relax, and get ready to catch...the Last Wave. It's another jam-packed show (emphasis on the JAM) on this Easter Sunday. It's like an easter egg hunt...but we've already done the hunting and the plastic eggs are full of the smoothest VGM soundwaves. But we cheat a little bit this week...just enough to squeeze in a very slick track from the AdLib Music Synthesizer...but we make up for it with more mahjong, golf, fishing, and horse racing tracks. Even Bomberman makes a special guest appearance.DOWNLOAD - THE LAST WAVE (4/21/19)PlaylistDawn Mist - Unknown(Jazz Vibes, AdLib Music Synthesizer)BGM - Masanao Akahori(Honkaku Pro Mahjong Tetsuman Special, Sega Saturn)Stewardess Stage 1 - Minamo Takahashi and Akihiko Ishikawa(Dancing Eyes, Arcade)All is Fine - Kinuyo Yamashita and Hiroyuki Iwatsuki(Ghost Sweeper Mikami: Joreishi wa Nice Body, Super Famicom)Main Menu - Tsukasa Tawada(Thoroughbred Breeder: Sekai Seiha-hen, Playstation)Status - Gon Ohtsuji(Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds, Playstation 3)Ending - Toshiyuki Sudo and Megumi Inoue(Ultimate Angler, Nintendo 3DS)Staff Roll - Jun Chikuma(Saturn Bomberman, Sega Saturn)Special RequestVisual- Hitoshi Sakimoto, Masaharu Iwata, and Yoshio Furukawa(Magical Block Carat, X68000)

1) Stage 1-1 (00:12 - 02:26) 2) Stage 1-2 (02:27 - 04:16) 3) Stage 2 (04:17 - 06:23) 4) Stage 3 (06:24 - 08:30) 5) Stage 4 (08:31 - 10:05) 6) Boss Theme (10:26 - 12:16) 7) Mini-Boss Theme (12:17 - 14:18) 8) Stage 5-1 (14:19 - 16:30) 9) Stage 5-2 (16:31 - 18:03) 10) Stage 6 (18:04 - 20:05) 11) Continue (20:06 - 21:27) 12) Stage 7 (21:28 - 24:07) 13) Staff Roll (24:08 - 26:32) Sources : - Gamasutra : http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/207767/A_classic_interview_with_Castlevania_composer_Michiru_Yamane.php

Feed will include Channels 1, 2, 3, and any future channels not yet planned. Feed will also include podcasts in high quality, stereo where applicable, and episodes will never expire off the feed. Therefore it is STRONGLY recommended that you subscribe to this Nerd Noise Radio feed and bypass all others. This one will contain all their content anyway.   Option 2: If you're ONLY interested in Channel 1  ("Noise from the Hearts of Nerds") episodes, and not in any of the other content that is or will be offered by Nerd Noise Radio, there is a Channel 1-specific feed. But it's hosted on a free account, rather than an upgraded account like the "All Channels Feed" with lower quality sound (mono, I believe), a maximum 2hrs per month of content (so if the month's episodes run longer than that, they may need to be trimmed), and episodes expire off the feed forever after 90 days. It is STRONGLY recommended for most listeners to subscribe to the All-Channels feed instead. However, if you really are only interested in Channel 1 content, here's the RSS:    http://www.buzzsprout.com/77944.rss   Our episodes will also appear on our Nerd Noise Radio YouTube Channel - just search for Nerd Noise Radio, you'll find us! Here's today's episode:   https://youtu.be/NJXrkPrEUSY   Additionally, there are YouTube Playlists you can follow, both an "All Channels" Feed (recommended), as well as channel-specific feeds.
