We also sat down poolside with another controversial character...actor, singer and former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Willam Belli, who returns to the show for another go (and we STILL fucked up his name). Willam talks RuPaul, traveling the country performing, how many hits his parody videos are getting (including the great Chik-fil-A one, seen below), and much more. This is a sometimes uncomfortable (our fault because we ask stoopid questions), loud chat with a big party going on in the background and several fans coming over to get a piece of the talented Willam. This model/dancer/writer/television host is such a great guy and he talks about his love of KIVA.org, the Australian Olympic team, and C-IN2! After that, the hosts talk to the incredibly talented Grammy winning songwriter Allee Willis from her home in Los Angeles. Allee has written thousands of songs, many of which you know by heart, such as I'll Be There For You (The Theme from "Friends"); Earth, Wind & Fire's September and Boogie Wonderland; The Pointer Sister's Neutron Dance, and countless others. She starts out by telling us how she came to be working with Charo right now on a new album. Yup, The Love Boat Charo! Allee is an internet pioneer, a multi-media artist, a top party thrower, the curator of her own online museum of kitsch--which is her lifelong obsession and passion--and, she has a multifaceted, interactive live stage show coming up in North Hollywood on September 21 & 22, that our L.A.-area peeps MUST check out. Hear Allee's amazing stories starting at the 35:00 minute mark. And if that wasn't enough, we've got the August return of our own gay manners expert Steven Petrow. This nationally known etiquette expert, speaker, columnist and author has some things to say about people cutting lines at airports, whether it's okay to invite yourself to a wedding, and a bit about his late friend, the humorist David Rakoff. Huge episode this week, boys and girls! It's so jam-packed with Swishy goodness, you might have to listen in pieces. But beware! First up, Scott & Steve chat about the hot topics of the week, including, Mariah Carrey joining American Idol; the homophobic Chik-fil-A and Boy Scouts of America; the douche that is Mike Huckabee; why private companies shouldn't have to cater to the gays if they don't want to; actor Stephen Moyer wants more gay sex for his character on True Blood; funny man Fred Willard needs to get the internet (it's for porn, you know?); Scott is joining Justin Luke's new JustinPlusSix.com blog; and, Edina and Patsy are back with an Olympics special on the BBC America. Then, Scott chats with YouTube phenom Charlie Hides, direct from his London home. This very talented performer has entertained audiences throughout the United States and Europe for decades and has recently made a big splash with his creative music video parodies and skits featuring the best of his original characters as well as spot-on impressions of the likes of Cher, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Adele, and many more. Find out how he does everything from wigs to costumes to filming to editing it all himself. And why he and his partner are packing up and headed to the south of France instead of dealing with the mess that will be London during the Olympics. Plus, hear what Cher thinks of his signature, "Whoooooo?" catch phrase. We have Charlie's newest song parody of Madonna's "Turn Up The Radio" (You can also see the video at the bottom of this page). Charlie's chat kicks in at the 28:58 mark in the episode. Then, Scott & Steve recount their crazy weekend in Asbury Park, New Jersey. They were there for some of the SandBlast parties and they were thrilled to run into their old friends Cole & Hunter from the Maverick Men (link not safe for work!) as well as their very own gay-on-the-ground in New York City, Justin Luke! The boys sat at the Langosta Lounge right on the boardwalk and chatted about their world-wind tour of the world. They're on the road constantly filming videos and traveling to Pride events, parties, and every now and then enjoying a much needed vacation. Their tales include a hotel ghost story, their signature jockstraps, how they saved a JetBlue flight with the heroics, the anti-climatic World Pride, their new DVD collection, Cole's new book, and much more. WARNING, guys, this chat with Cole & Hunter is NOT SAFE FOR WORK and may not be appropriate for all audiences. These x-rated dirty boys hold nothing back. May the listener beware! Our chat with Cole & Hunter kicks in at the 55:20 mark. After that, we run into Justin Luke and talk about all things SandBlast and he tells us a bit more about his new blog which just launched this week. Justin's mini-segment is at the 1:25:15 mark. And finally...we get around to our favorite gay manners expert, Steven Petrow, who returns for his July visit to the Swish Edition. Scott and Steven talk about whether to not to confront rude, homophobic patrons in a restaurant; what etiquette says about how to address lesbian couples in a formal way (Mrs. & Mrs., anyone?); tips for lonely young people; and, what happens when a guy wants to stay friends with an ex-boyfriend but his new partner says, "no!" We're thrilled to talk with the hilarious and hairy, husband and husband comedy duo of Dick & Duane on this week's hot new episode. Richie Cohen and Duane Tragis had us in stitches and we just wish you could SEE the whole thing (we did it via video Skype) because besides being funny, they are so bearishly cute, too. They'll tell you how they've been together since they were teenagers, how they got started doing their ingenious brand of sketch comedy, why they decided to bare it ALL in online pictures and videos (which are not work safe), and all about the new web series they're working on. Their segment kicks in at the 32:20 mark in the episode. Also up this week, Dale & Scott are on-location at the Paradise nightclub in Asbury Park, New Jersey for a chat with the Swish Edition's very first lady spinner! New York City's DJ Kim Dazy was at the shore for the weekend, entertaining the beach goers and taking a break from her permanent gig at Manhattan's Henrietta Hudson. We always wondered how deejays feel out a crowd, so we asked, duh. The goal is to fill out the floor and build from there...playing the pop dance hits and then building from there, adding in a few tracks the kids may not necessarily know. She explains the differences between music tastes between the ladies and the gents, why some club crowds demand the hits they can dance and sing along to, what the summer crowd is like at the shore. This eclectic deejay has worked Gay Days Orlando, Miami's Winter Party, and many others. And we're thinking we need to get this chick to DC some time soon. There just aren't enough lady deejays 'round these parts. Our chat with Kim starts at the 57:00 mark. Plus, the hosts talk about Dale's "Thing;" Steve's night at the theater; Dale & Scott's weekend sitting on their asses; Scott's poor 16 year old Dalmatian; the cum-like lube Spunk; more RSVP cruise troubles; Madonna, Andrew Christian, Funny Or Die, and rapper Murs' newest videos; the guy with the world's biggest penis gets detained by the TSA; the new season of CBS' Big Brother; and, much more.

We're thrilled to have Canadian funny man Scott Thompson stop by for a chat this week. You know him best as a part of the comedy troupe The Kids In the Hall and together with Kevin McDonald, Scott is currently on tour with a brand new two-man, stand-up/sketch version of their unique brand of humor called, Two Kids, One Hall. They're stopping by the Arlington, Virginia Cinema & Draft House August 19 & 20, and have dates scheduled all over the country through the fall. Scott tells us why Canadians have exported so many funny people, why he's obsessed with fruit, who he finds funny (including frequent Swish guest Margaret Cho!), and how he shares a name with American comedian Carrot Top! He also tells us about his a passion project, his Danny Husk graphic novel (including a bi-sexual king and human/non-human sex, of course). The show is really excited to be bringing you guys new music almost every single week...and this one is no different. geO Louis is a young hottie singer/songwriter/performer out of the NYC and we not only chat with him for a few minutes about his sound but we have two of his poppy dance tracks, Work and Over & Over. (And...um...you need to scroll all the way to the bottom of this page to see a picture we found of geO we kinda dig.) And with special in-studio guest host Eboné Bell--one of our favorite lesbians, she of B.O.I. Marketing & the Capital Queer Prom--the kids team up and play Jason's version of "Password." Eboné's girlfriend Angel helps with the words and let's just say that comedy ensues. This game is certainly going to make it into rotation; it's a hoot. ALSO ON THIS EPISODE... Scott thinks a listener needs to establish a Wikipedia page for the Swish Edition; We think the Bert & Ernie marriage petition is not helping our cause; We discuss podcaster/comedian Adam Corolla's recent anti-gay (or was it comedy?) rant; The Salahi's of White House crasher fame get dissed by Bravo yet again; Singer Adam Levine has solidified his place as a new gay hero; HBO's True Blood has been renewed for a fifth season; We're late with this, but apparently Black Spark revealed his real name; It's our very last show before Camp 2011; and, Dale has a BRAND NEW nickname! Episode 147 is called, "The Password."

What happens when we let a couple of good friends into the Secret Underground Studio to let them watch as we make our weekly magic? Find out on this week's all-new, slightly naughty episode of the Swish Edition. But first, let us say that, without a doubt, when we titled this episode "Tranny Garden Party," we say that controversial term with the most love we have for our dear friends who make up the "T" in GLBT. There's been an ongoing debate on whether the word is derogatory or not, but when many of our transsexual friends use it, well, we think we can to. Plus, it's fun to say. And we say it a lot this week as we tell the tale of the impromptu tranny garden party that happen Saturday night on our block. We halt the talk twice for two songs we think you'll dig. Sam Tsui is a rising young singer who has appeared on Oprah, Ellen and was featured in a Time Magazine piece. His cover of Britney's "Hold It Against Me" is haunting and his original tune, "Don't Want An Ending," is just as good as anything you'll hear on your favorite Top 40 station. We love this kid and you should check out his music and his entertaining music and comedy videos. Of course we have the latest news from Sean Bugg's Metro Weekly, as well as... Steve visits a psychic Scott gets an iPhone 4...finally Dale's gearing up and sprucing up for the redhead appreciation party Jason has the weird news that made headlines this week We talk about all the celebs being invited to the military ball via YouTube Break down the Lady Gaga/Bette Midler fued Gaga's meat dress is headed to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame You can get fined for walking and texting in Philly Celebrities and athletes: Are they really sorry for the shit they say?
