Discover the versatile and distinctly Moroccan product of Argan Oil in this episode of Destination Morocco podcast, recorded live at the Zin Cooperative, just outside of Essaouira.Argan oil can be pressed into both edible or cosmetic use, and our guest Chiadma explains the different methods of production, and how they know which is which. But we also talk about how to find authentic argan oil, because there are a lot of fake rip offs. Chiadma shares a story of how, before she started working at the co-op, even she succumbed to a too-good-to-be-true sale. Suffice to say, the oil didn't last very long. Good, quality Argan products need a high percentage of oil, and Chiadma explains what to look for.Discarded shells of the nuts are given to the famous tree-climbing goats, whom you might otherwise see along the highway from Marrakech to Essaouira, climbing trees in search of their own supply!Argan trees particularly thrive in the dry, Mediterranean-style climate of Essaouira, Agadir and Taroudant (which we described in Episode 86). Which means sourcing your product from that region is a good start, but you still can't assume that it's the real deal. The Zin Cooperative, like the rug cooperative we featured in Episode 79, provides much needed employment and community for local women, in a positive and supportive environment. Why has the argan tree — which grows nowhere else on Earth — survived for 65 million years in the mountains of Morocco, and why are the women who have tended it for centuries now earning two euros sixty for a litre of oil that sells for a hundred in Paris? Who was Zoubida Charrouf, the chemist who gave scientific language to what Amazigh women had always known, and built a cooperative movement that changed thousands of lives — only for the global market to arrive and take almost everything? And what does liquid gold look like from the bottom of the supply chain?Join John and Patrick as they tell the story of Morocco and the argan tree — the performance goats, the women's cooperatives, and the ancient knowledge that the world monetised without ever properly paying for...----------In Sponsorship with Cornell University: Dyson Cornell SC Johnson College of Business-----------Join the History of Fresh Produce Club for ad-free listening, bonus episodes, book discounts and access to an exclusive chatroom community.Support us!Share this episode with your friendsGive a 5-star ratingWrite a review-----------Subscribe to our biweekly newsletter here for extra stories related to recent episodes, book recommendations, a sneak peek of upcoming episodes and more.-----------Instagram, TikTok, Threads:@historyoffreshproduceEmail: historyoffreshproduce@gmail.com
This week we attended the most incredible party thrown for @onthescentmedia byGlorious Brands and Muse Communications - a room filled with friends: movers andshakers of the scent scene, from press, PR and brands alike. All were there tocelebrate the official launch of On The Scent Magazine - and somehow, with all theirlove and support - it suddenly felt real! The magazine was arrayed on tables around the gorgeously flower-bedecked room,Mimosa cocktails were sipped, fragrant friends laughed and we all basked in themost spectacular view of London, delighting in the golden hour (and a rareopportunity to come together across various companies who are usually the onesholding launches, not getting to relax and attend them!) Open A I、Anthropic、x A I,其中x A I也已经在二零二六年2月被Space X整体并入。 最顶端那两家A I创业公司,仅Open A I一家的累计合约承诺已经达到1.15万亿美元,涉及Broadcom、Oracle、Microsoft、Nvidia、AMD、Amazon、CoreWeave七家供应商,而当期年化收入只有240亿美元。 而对手方里Open A I或Anthropic这类悬空合约比例高,或者大厂自身也在用S P V结构维持基建扩张的(比如CoreWeave合约储备里Meta和Open A I那近三分之二),都需要提高警惕。

É efectuada assim a contagem do nosso espaço geográfico. Outro desafio ligado à biodiversidade poderá estar associado à gestão do espaço e do recurso.
Comment on this episode by going to KDramaChat.comToday, we have a special episode of K Drama Chat where we're joined by longtime listener, friend, and screenwriter, Ellen Sullivan. We talk about the art and science of screenwriting and how the best K Dramas follow—or creatively depart from—dramatic structure to deliver compelling, emotional stories. In this episode, we discuss:The shows that are heavily spoiled in this episode: Crash Landing On You, Mr. Queen, Mr. Sunshine, When the Phone Rings, and Captivating the King.Ellen's background as a screenwriter and technical writer, and how her passion for K Dramas began with My Mister. The Western three-act structure versus the Korean four-act structure (gi-seung-jeon-gyeol), and how each style approaches storytelling and character development.Detailed examples of setup, midpoint, and conclusion in Crash Landing On You, Mr. Queen, and Mr. Sunshine. What makes these shows work: believable character arcs, clear motivations, strong midpoint turns, and emotional payoffs. The redemption arc as a dramatic formula, especially in characters like Gu Seung-jun (CLOY) and Jang Bong-hwan (Mr. Queen). Why humor breaks are essential in Korean dramas and how they add richness to character and story.Foreshadowing and payoffs (or lack thereof) in When the Phone Rings, and why the “Argan” plot twist derailed the show. The pacing and structural missteps in Captivating the King, including over-explaining, weak female lead development, and a lack of trust in the audience. The importance of a “MacGuffin” in each drama—a central object or goal everyone is chasing. How K Dramas “trust the audience” by skipping mundane scenes and using implication rather than exposition. The emotional power of music in K Dramas, especially in Mr. Queen, CLOY, and Mr. Sunshine, and how it enhances tone and viewer engagement. Why well-crafted character interaction reveals motivation better than exposition. The writing mantra: “Make me care.” How the best dramas engage our emotions without making us think about structure until the end. What we're watching now, including Bon Appetit, Heavenly Ever After, Typhoon Family, Because This is My First Life, Signal, and Will You Marry Me.A big reveal: the next K Drama we'll be recapping in Season 13! You have to listen to find out!

Schaltet also unbedingt wieder ein!

We recommend watching the video version of this episode on our YouTube channel, you can find it here:Where you can find genuine Argan oil, from an ethical source (YouTube)----Discover the versatile and distinctly Moroccan product of Argan Oil in today's conversation, recorded live at the Zin Cooperative, just outside of Essaouira. Argan oil can be pressed into both edible or cosmetic use, and our guest Chiadma explains the different methods of production, and how they know which is which. Discarded shells of the nuts are given to the famous tree-climbing goats, whom you might otherwise see along the highway from Marrakech to Essaouira, climbing trees in search of their own supply!Argan trees particularly thrive in the dry, Mediterranean-style climate of Essaouira, Agadir and Taroudant (which we described recently in Episode 86). Which means sourcing your product from that region is a good start, but you still can't assume that it's the real deal. Chiadma shares a story of how, before she started working at the co-op, even she succumbed to a too-good-to-be-true sale. Suffice to say, the oil didn't last very long. Good, quality Argan products need a high percentage of oil, and Chiadma explains what to look for. The Zin Cooperative, like the rug cooperative we featured in Episode 79, provides much needed employment and community for local women, in a positive and supportive environment. Discover not only quality products, but an enterprise that had a meaningful impact on this rural area. Comment on this episode by going to KDramaChat.comToday, we'll be discussing the special filler episode on When The Phone Rings, the over-the-top, twist-filled K Drama starring Yoo Yeon-seok as Baek Sa-eon, Jeon Yeo-been as Hong Hee-joo, and Kim Ji-seok as Ji Sang-woo. We discuss:The songs we featured during the recap, including:Homme Fatale – the dramatic track playing when Baek Sa-eon struts into a roomSay My Name performed by Yoo Yeon-seok in the finaleThe absolutely bonkers premise: a high-profile political spokesperson secretly married to his childhood love, who he keeps hidden from the world, and whose existence triggers a web of blackmail, kidnapping, and revenge plots. The layers of hidden identities — from Baek Sa-eon being a secret replacement for the original Baek Sa-eon, to Hong Hee-joo living her life pretending to be mute, all due to family politics and trauma. The stunning reveal that Baek Sa-eon is not only adopted but actually the son of his own grandfather. The selective mutism plotline — how Hong Hee-joo's silence started as a survival tactic but became a powerful tool that gave her a successful career. The role of Ji Sang-woo, the caring friend turned investigative psychiatrist, who didn't realize what he was wading into by investigating the case of the missing boys from the orphanage. The use of the mysterious phone as a plot device — how the sinister calls were the catalyst for uncovering the hidden marriage and Baek Sa-eon's many secrets. The moment Baek Sa-eon realized the “kidnapper” on the phone was actually his own wife, and how that discovery changed their entire dynamic. The ridiculously high kidnapping count — Hong Hee-joo gets kidnapped not once, not twice, but FOUR times across 12 episodes. We discuss how this woman even manages to sleep at night. The "Argan" subplot — how a fictional war-torn country becomes both Baek Sa-eon's self-imposed exile and the backdrop for the show's most ludicrous romantic reunion. The utterly bizarre "sunset" motif that comes out of nowhere in the final episodes — how sunsets are suddenly a metaphor for their love despite never being mentioned before. The final episode's chaos: political scandals, revenge murders, family betrayals, a rescue mission in a war zone, and a surprise happy ending that left us asking — did we just watch a romance or a thriller? The controversy around the mistranslated Middle Eastern conflict scene — how a clumsy translation sparked accusations of political bias, and why inserting geopolitics into a makjang drama felt so unnecessary. What we're watching now! Joanna and Sung Hee are watching Love Scout and loving it!Next week, we will recap and analyze episode 1 of When Life Gives You Tangerines. Although four episodes are expected to drop, we will only watch and recap one episode at a time.ReferencesWhat is makjang?Fans call for boycott of popular K Drama for thinly veiled references to israel's war on Gaza

A9 Bot - How To Get The Most Out Of Your Listing Optimisation In this informative episode of Seller Sessions, host Danny McMillan gives listeners an inside look at the A9 Bot available exclusively through his website. This specialised bot aims to help sellers better grasp Amazon's ever-evolving A9 ranking algorithms and optimisation factors by synthesising key learnings from extensive scientific literature and patents. Laying the Groundwork Around A9 Understanding Before demonstrating the A9 Bot tool itself, Danny emphasises how this fits into his broader mission to equip Amazon sellers with more technical competency on the inner workings of Amazon search. He's compiled and working through 1234 scientific papers and has written at depth on subjects sellers may find confusing or conflicting when trying to rank higher. Understanding Product Photos and How Attributes Really Work How Amazon Protects Answers to Product Questions Using Similar Products The Real Reason Why A10 is a Myth Improving Seasonal Relevance and Ranking on Amazon Search This scientific grounding informs the A9 Bot's capabilities for listing optimisation tied to ranking factors. Danny emphasises digesting this background will prove useful for sellers aiming to "level up" their Amazon search education. Introducing Key Match Types: Lexical vs. Semantic vs. BERT Contextual As Danny shifts into demonstrating the tool itself, he starts by outlining three key match types critical to understand: Lexical Matching Semantic Matching BERT Contextual Matching While lexical matching should remain core to any keyword targeting strategy, Danny urges sellers not to limit themselves to only indexing keywords. The semantic and BERT matches within A9 paint a fuller picture of what customers may search for — and how listings can evolve to reach more searchers. Seeing the A9 Bot in Action: Listing Rewrites To illustrate the bot's capabilities, Danny provides a demo using a beard oil product as an example. He prompts the bot to rewrite the listing bullets targeting first lexical matches, then semantic matches, and finally keyword matches informed by BERT's contextual analysis. The output shows clear differences highlighting how each match type shapes results. The lexical rewrite sticks closest to exact keyword matches in the original beard oil listing. Meanwhile the semantic match incorporates more contextual phrases that extend meaning like beard grooming and shaping tools. Finally, the BERT rewrite recognises entities and relationships to recommend additional keywords around skin conditioning, packaging format, and product feel during application. This small demo begins to showcase how tapping scientific advances in language AI can assist sellers in reaching more customers. While their manual testing and listing quality control remains imperative, leveraging innovations like BERT as an input can spur new optimisation ideas. Key Takeaways and Parting Thoughts In concluding his A9 Bot intro, Danny shares a few final recommendations: Use provided prompts to experiment rewriting your own listings with lexical, semantic, and BERT matches Check his site's “A9 Algorithm” section for articles dispelling myths plus evolving science around ranking factors Recognise sellers optimise for conversion while Amazon algorithms focus on customer experience first Avoid overstuffing listings with keywords without considering user experience With innovations in contextual language understanding racing ahead, Danny emphasises sellers must stay on the pulse of Amazon advancements to remain competitive in organic search. Tools like the A9 Bot point to a future where semantic search capabilities will only grow more advanced. Though testing and high-quality listings remain essential, embracing these new frontiers in AI can help uncover more opportunities. We talk with two renowned playwrights about their new plays – both on for a short run and neither of them to be missed. Roger McGough, the much-loved author, Mersey poet and presenter of BBC Radio Four's ‘Poetry Please', has adapted Molière's ‘The Hypochondriac' for The Crucible in Sheffield. It's already opened to rave reviews, with Edward Hogg starring as Argan. Jonathan Maitland, journalist and broadcaster turned playwright, has written ‘The Interview', a play about Princess Diana's interview with Martin Bashir, which opens on 27th October at The Park in London for a short run. Roger McGough tells us how he came to adapt Molière's 17th century classic and transform it into a comic delight for contemporary audiences. He also looks back at his time with The Scaffold, his fellow Mersey Poets, Brian Patten and the late Adrian Henri (‘The Mersey Sound' has sold over a million copies) and regales us with tales of working on the script of ‘Yellow Submarine'. Jonathan Maitland, who shared an office with Martin Bashir at ITV for six years, tells us why now why is such a good time to examine Princess Diana's legacy afresh and look again at our very polarised, if not frenzied, reactions to Martin Bashir and the way the now notorious interview, watched by over 23 million in the UK alone, came about. ‘The Hypochondriac' at The Crucible, Sheffield: until 21st October ‘The Interview' at The Park: 27th October till 5th November With thanks to Lomi for supporting us over the last six episodes. I enjoy making my own skin moisturizer out of tropical butters like shea butter, cacao and cupuaçu butter, melting those, and adding luxurious plant oils like Argan, Jojoba, and Seabuckthornfruit Oil for a creamy consistency. I don't have to add any preservatives or emulsifiers because I don't add water to those creams. Instead, I spray my face with Rose Water or Witch Hazel Hydrolate before applying the face balm for added moisture and a toning, pore-refining effect. Lavender and Cistus grow abundantly around me, so I use them to make my own herbal-infused oils, which I use directly as a body oil, or in my creams. Some oils have strong medicinal properties, you don't even have to infuse herbs into them, like Andiroba and Copaiba Oil from Brazil, and many others. http://www.aufonddelaclasse.comDans Le Malade imaginaire, Molière propose aussi un spectacle comique de la galanterie, c'est-à-dire des nouveaux usages de la haute société parisienne. One of the more common issues I hear from my patients is one I have also dealt with - hair loss, thinning, and breakage. Throughout my nearly 20 years of experience helping people with thyroid and Hashimoto's, I've noticed that along with fatigue, brain fog, and weight gain, hair problems are a common occurrence. In the latest episode, I shed some light on the top reasons for hair loss. But, don't worry, I also share practical solutions to bring life back to your locks. Here are the top 5 most common causes of hair issues: Thyroid and Hashimoto's Nutritional Deficiencies Stress Hormonal Shifts PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) Let's dive a little deeper into each one and look at ways you can support hair health for each of these root causes (pun intended!) Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, and Hair Woes The thyroid plays a significant role in our overall well-being, including our hair health. Hypothyroidism, where your body produces insufficient thyroid hormone, and Hashimoto's, an autoimmune disease that mistakenly attacks the thyroid, often lead to hair shedding, thinning, and brittleness. To address these issues, it's vital to take a comprehensive approach. This starts with a thorough understanding of your thyroid status - you have to know your numbers! And, you have to know all of them. Many doctors will only test TSH but that won't give you the full picture. A full thyroid panel is essential. This includes TSH, Total T4, Total T3, Free T4, Free T3, T3 Uptake, Reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies. A thorough evaluation will help identify any imbalances, especially if Hashimoto's is the underlying cause. And, these results will also help you understand your thyroid type. Once you know where your thyroid stands, it's time to support it effectively. A personalized approach to thyroid health, combined with measures to calm the immune system, can slow down or halt the attack on the thyroid by Hashimoto's. A well-rounded strategy is key to combating hair issues. Take Control of Your Thyroid Health All too often, I meet with patients who only half understand their thyroid status because their doctor is only giving them half the story. That is why I created a free Hashimoto's training to help you determine your thyroid type and support it with a two-fold approach. In this workshop, I help you navigate your way to the full picture so you can advocate for yourself and your health. Sign up here. Gut Health and Hair Loss The gut is a powerful player in our overall health, and that includes our hair health. What many people don't realize is that thyroid health impacts gut health because when your thyroid is off, it can slow down gut transit time, leading to constipation and impaired nutrient absorption. Additionally, leaky gut, where the intestinal lining becomes permeable, can further exacerbate hair problems by allowing unwanted particles into the bloodstream. Balancing thyroid health and gut health goes hand in hand. And, when your gut is healthier, your hair is healthier. Nutrition and Hair Loss Even when the gut is healthy, hypothyroidism can still lead to poor nutrient absorption. When thyroid hormone levels are inadequate, the hair follicles may not receive the necessary nutrients for proper growth and maintenance. As a result, hair can become dry, brittle, and prone to breakage. Key nutrients essential for healthy hair include iron, zinc, and B12. Iron is crucial for oxygen transport and is necessary for healthy hair growth. A deficiency in iron can lead to hair loss and thinning. Zinc also plays a vital role in hair health, as it helps with tissue growth and repair, including hair follicles. Additionally, B12 supports the production of red blood cells, which carry oxygen to the hair follicles. To address nutrient deficiencies, consider adding supplements like Ferrochel Iron, liquid B12 such as the Methyl B Complex from Quick Silver Scientific, or the B12 ND from Premier Research Labs. For a zinc deficiency, you could try adding Reacted Zinc to your daily routine. However, it's essential to note that addressing nutrient deficiencies goes beyond supplementation. Ensuring proper digestion and absorption of these nutrients is equally vital. Iron-rich foods, a balanced diet, and a well-functioning gut play crucial roles in maintaining healthy hair and overall well-being. Thinning Hair Caused by Stress Stress has a significant impact on our body, including hair health. Whether it's emotional stress or physical stress from illness or inflammation, the body's response can lead to hair problems. Cortisol, known as the stress hormone, can play a role in hair loss, specifically a condition called telogen effluvium. In this condition, the hair follicles enter a resting phase, leading to increased shedding and hair loss. Managing stress is essential for maintaining healthy hair and overall health. Incorporating stress-reducing techniques into your daily routine can make a significant difference. Mindfulness practices, meditation, acupuncture, and hypnosis are valuable tools for reducing stress levels. If you missed our episodes on hypnosis, be sure to go back and check out episodes 139 and 140. Additionally, phosphatidylserine (I recommend PS 150), a supplement that helps lower cortisol levels, can promote better sleep quality and a calmer state of mind. Hormonal Shifts and Hair Loss Hormonal shifts, particularly those experienced during perimenopause and menopause, can influence hair health. As estrogen levels decrease, many women experience hair thinning, texture changes, and sometimes even hair loss. These hormonal imbalances can exacerbate existing thyroid-related symptoms, making it a challenging time for those with Hashimoto's. Addressing hormonal shifts often involves balancing hormone levels and supporting the body during this transition. Bio-identical hormones and hormone-balancing supplements can help alleviate symptoms and improve overall well-being. However, it's essential to make well-informed decisions about hormone replacement therapy and consult with healthcare professionals. Stay tuned and subscribe for more on this in upcoming episodes. Cause of Hair Loss #5, PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) For those with PCOS, hair issues are commonly linked to hormonal imbalances, particularly high testosterone and estrogen levels. PCOS is also associated with issues related to blood sugar regulation. Balancing hormones and blood sugar levels are essential components of managing PCOS-related hair problems. One of my favorite supplements for supporting PCOS is Sensitol by Designs for Health. A balanced diet and avoiding dairy may also help with symptoms of PCOS. Natural Topical Solutions for Improved Hair Health Incorporating natural oils like Homa, Amla, or Argan for hair oiling can help combat dryness and brittleness. Hair oiling is a beneficial practice where natural oils are applied to the hair and left for an extended period before shampooing. This can nourish the hair and promote overall hair health. Choosing hair care products wisely is also crucial for maintaining healthy hair. Avoid chemical hair dyes, as they can harm the hair follicles and leach into your body. Instead, opt for natural hair dye alternatives (learn more about what I use in episodes 121 and 142). Topical serums with essential oils like rosemary or basil can promote hair growth and rejuvenate hair follicles. Positive Mindset and Good Hair Mindset is a powerful tool for addressing hair issues and overall health. Visualizing your desired outcome and focusing on positive thoughts can influence your body's response. Remember, your body hears everything your brain is thinking, so maintaining a positive mindset can have a significant impact on your journey to better hair and well-being. Next Steps Hair issues can be a reflection of underlying health imbalances, and addressing them can lead to positive changes in your overall health and well-being. Remember to consider thyroid and Hashimoto's, nutrient deficiencies, stress management, hormonal shifts, and PCOS as possible contributors to hair problems. Don't forget to choose hair care products wisely and maintain a positive mindset throughout your journey to better hair health. On this episode of the Friends in Beauty podcast I welcome Omayma Ramzy to the Friends in Beauty guest chair. Omayma is a British award-winning makeup artist, currently living in Los Angeles, known for her ability to perfect skin, while using color, texture and shape to express her artistry. Her background in fine art ultimately sparked her interest in makeup, which was no surprise coming from a family of performers and artists. She also spent much of her formative youth in Egypt and Morocco, where she also learned about skin and beauty from the nomadic Bedouins of the Sahara Desert. Today, she shares those best-kept beauty secrets with her clients as well as the masses through her skin care brand. Their Bedouin Elixir Facial Oil is intentionally formulated without chemicals/actives and instead gives a nod to her North African heritage with the addition of Neem, Moroccan Blue Tansy, Jojoba, and Argan oils. Welcome back to Bri Books! If you're new to the show, leave a review of Bri Books on Apple Podcasts, and listen to Bri Books on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and SoundCloud! Please tell me where you're traveling to by using #bribooks on Instagram and subscribe to the Bri Books newsletter at bribookspod.com/newsletter. It's July, and we are approaching high summer! I kicked off the season with a travel “bang”—a work trip to Johannesburg, South Africa for 9 days, during which I put my international skincare routine to the test. In this episode, I'm walking you through my 9 summer skincare essentials, AKA my summer skincare ‘empties.' Listen to my recent episode about your 6 Travel Essentials for a Summer Holiday! 1:40 - Paula's Choice Omega + Complex Cleansing Balm (Sephora, Paula's Choice) - This luxe cleansing balm melts away everything from sunscreen to makeup as the lather transforms from an opaque liquid into a soapy, oily balm. This Paula's Choice cleanser got me through my travels in Johannesburg, and I love that it leaves my skin clean without feeling stripped. Trust me, when you're traveling, this is the cleanser you'll want by your side to help you wash the day away. 3:45 - Farmacy Sweet Apple Meltaway Makeup Cleansing Balm (Sephora, Farmacy) - I love to use this cleansing balm in the mornings while in the shower. It gently melts away makeup (especially eye makeup) and helps to remove excess oil from the skin. I like to use this on dry skin and slowly add water to build up the lather. 5:15 - Caudalie Beauty Elixir (Sephora, Caudalie)- Caudalie Beauty Elixir has been part of my holy grail travel kit for years, and it's a definitive summer travel essential. The 50 mL bottle of this stuff is perfect for travel, as it's below TSA carry-on liquid limits, and no inflight experience is complete without a super hydrating and luxe misting moment. I sometimes pair it with The Heritage Store rosewater, which is another year-round staple and summer travel favorite for infusing instant moisture into the skin. 6:15 - Caudalie Reservatrol Lift Face Lifting Soft Cream (Sephora, Caudalie) - I love traveling with the Caudalie Reservatrol Lift Soft Cream as my decadent, almost pillowy moisturizer of choice. Airplanes dry my skin out desperately, and I find my skin can get easily irritated if not moisturized properly. when I travel, I try to keep the Reservatrol Lift Soft Cream in my handbag. It's packed with ingredients like reservatrol and hyaluronic acid, which leave the skin feeling soft and deeply moisturized. 8:00 - Saje Natural Wellness Calm-o-Mile Face Oil - This winner from Saje is formulated for people with sensitive skin. Blended with blue chamomile, evening primrose, and camellia. I always feel like I'm doing a face-plant into a meadow of medicinal flowers every time I apply this product, which is why I run out so quickly. I use it as the final step in my skincare routine when traveling. The blue chamomile reduces the appearance of dryness, and primrose is high in omega-6 fatty acids. When used as part of my nighttime treatment, Calm-o-Mile leaves my face feeling lush the next morning! 9:30 - Pura d'Or Rosehip Seed Oil - I use organic oils to moisturize my skin after bathing. I love to use Pura d'or Rosehip Seed Oil, as rosehip oil helps to rejuvenate dry skin and improve moisture. Rosehip seed oil restores PH balance to soothe skin and also helps with scalp health. If you want your skin to be moisturized but not oily-slick, Pura d'Or's rosehip seed oil is for you. 11:05 - Lush Cosmetics Ro's Argan Body Conditioner - This body conditioner is scented with argan oil, rose absolute, and cupachu butter. I add a dollop of Ro's Argan to a few drops of the reship seed oil, mix, and apply it to my skin after showering. 12:15 - Bonus: Lush Posh Chocolate body wash - This is the perfect pampering post-travel shower companion. How can you feel tired after showering and emerging smelling like chocolate?! This body wash is a great product to use when you're back on your home turf following an adventurous travel season. 13:37 - Bonus: The travel Dopp kit from Soho Skin - This Dopp kit comes with a cleanser, face cream, renewal serum, eye balm, lip cream, shaving gel, and more! It's definitely the travelers' skincare essential, inspired by the global Soho House community. The products are exclusive to Soho House bedrooms around the world, but I got my hands on a kit and tried it on while on longhair flights between New York City and South Africa. The face cream, shaving gel, lip balm, and eye balm were the stand-out products, and the chic Dopp kit case is perfect for catching all of your skincare needs. When you travel, what are your essentials? is there a lip balm you can't leave the zip code without? Show me on Instagram at Bri Books! We're back! This is a long-overdue, if abbreviated, first part of a two-part conclusion to Till We Have Faces. We're a little less Ent-ish about our discussion than we normally are, and we manage to get through four whole chapters in one episode. Hasty much? Even so, we find things to linger on as Orual herself speeds through some of the highlights of her rule in Glome, beginning with her duel against Argan and ending with an explanation for why she is writing this book in the first place. Have feedback? Fanfic? A deep desire to be part of the show? Tell us all about it by writing to InklingsVarietyHour@gmail.com. We'd love to meet you, and I will eventually reply. I promise. High thanks and praise to Logan Huggins for producing this episode! We'll be back next week to end our discussion of Till We Have Faces with friend of the show Andrew Lazo (who pops in at the end of this episode)! Stay tuned!
