Send us Fan MailGUEST: Todd Hampson, author, Non-Prophets Guide SeriesWhen countries in Scripture listed as key actors in end times passages, such as Israel, Iran, and Turkey, appear at the top of world news, Christians should be paying attention. The U.S. and Israel are in an intractable war with Iran. Turkey has signed a military cooperation agreement and are planning military exercises with Egypt. President Trump recently met with and spoke favorably of Turkish president and strongman Recep Erdogan and is considering selling U.S. F-35 fighter jets to the country. And the super-sign of the end times—the state of Israel—continues to be at the forefront of the news and the focal point of hatred in the world. Our guest, Todd Hampson, author and host of the Prophecy Pros Podcast, calls this “stage setting.” In other words, the rapture of the church, the invasion by Gog and Magog into Israel, the peace treaty with Israel by the Antichrist, and the rest of the events the Bible predicts for the end of the end times, have not occurred yet but the stage is being set.Last week in Part 1, Todd explained the three main views of biblical prophecy (premillennialism, postmillennialism, and amillennialism) and how he believes the premillennial view is most consistent using a literal, grammatical, historical reading of Scripture. He also discussed some of the other key aspects of the end times, like the rapture, the seven-year Tribulation, and ultimately the return and reign of Christ. This week in Part 2, we will discuss how current events in Israel, Iran, and Turkey are setting the stage for the fulfillment of prophecy, where the United States fits into all this, and much more.We hope you join us as we watch the Lord unfold His plans for the return and reign of His Son!
L'Espagne a gagné !

Send us Fan MailGUEST: Todd Hampson, author, Non-Prophets Guide SeriesConsider this: Nearly 30% of the Bible deals with prophetic or future events. A majority of the prophecies in Scripture have already come to pass but there is plenty of prophecy that is yet to be fulfilled.Fulfilled prophecy is one of the greatest evidences that God is trustworthy and His Word is true.Consider Old Testament prophecies about the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ—that He would be born of a virgin, in Bethlehem, make an escape to Egypt, be rejected by His own people, betrayed by a friend, crucified with sinners, no bones broken, have His side pierced, and rise from the dead, to name just a few that have were precisely fulfilled.Realizing this should strengthen the believer's faith in the sovereign God who controls the past, present, and future according to His perfect plan. And yet with the high number and perfect accuracy of fulfilled prophecies, it is odd that many churches tend to avoid the subject. It is said that addressing prophecy is complicated and not concrete, that there are many different interpretations, that prophecy is a secondary and potentially divisive issue, or that people have more relevant needs in the here and now.God intentionally filled His Word with prophecy so that believers would know what is coming, yes, but even more, so that we would praise and worship God for His power and plan. While God's Word doesn't include every detail we may want about the future, it reveals plenty for the one who diligently studies the Bible and learns under a preacher who “accurately handles the word of truth.”We are living in a time when some of the yet-to-be-fulfilled prophecies are taking shape. The nation of Israel, after being scattered from their promised homeland for nearly 2000 years, is now living there again. That in itself is a fulfillment of biblical prophecy (Isaiah 11:11; Ezekiel 11:17).But there is more to come—a seven-year period of world tribulation, the rise of a world leader called the Antichrist, the rapture of church-age believers, and the return of Jesus Christ to judge and reign on earth for 1000 years. Now, some believers would dispute this “pre-millennial” view of biblical prophecy. They don't see ethnic Israel as significant in the future. They don't see a 1000-year literal reign of Christ on earth but rather a spiritual reign right now or in the future. So how can we know what is to come? This weekend in part one of our two-week series, Todd Hampson, co-host of the Prophecy Pros Podcast and author of many books on prophecy, will join to us to lay the groundwork on understanding biblical prophecy. We'll discuss the three main views—amillennialism, postmillennialism, and premillennialism—and a number of future events that Scripture details. Then, next weekend in part two, we will look at current events in the Middle East—the intractable war with Iran, the rise of Turkey, and the turning against Israel—all of which are nations with immense prophetic significance in the lead up to the great hope of believers—the return of Jesus Christ! We hope you join us for two weeks of Understanding Current Events in the Middle East through the Lens of Biblical Prophecy.---------------------------A Visual Guide to the End TimesThe Non-Prophet's Guide to the End TimesProphecy Pros PodcastThe Prophecy Pros Academy
The speech matters less for its facts than for its signal. Hawk reads it as telegraphing that this administration will not accept the results of the midterms, and he puts it alongside the rest of the week: Jay Clayton declining to say who won in 2020, Todd Blanche testifying the president may direct prosecutions of his enemies, and Marco Rubio and Stephen Miller announcing an expansion of groups designated as domestic terrorists under National Security Presidential Memorandum 7. His practical warning is about conspiracy charges, using a Texas ICE protest case where one participant reportedly received 30 years, and how one person's actions can be attributed to an entire group. He lays out the real timeline, the eight to ten weeks between Election Day and January when the new Congress is sworn in, notes Trump has lost roughly 15 election cases this year including before his own appointees, and asks where Democratic leadership is. Then come the numbers. A Center for Strategic and International Studies report covering 1994 through 2020 found that right-wing extremists carried out the large majority of domestic terrorist attacks and plots in the United States, roughly two-thirds in 2019 and over 90 percent in early 2020, and were responsible for 335 of 357 domestic terror deaths across that period, about 93 percent. None of that appears in Miller's speech. Hawk's argument is that "political terrorist" here functions as a label for anyone who disagrees with Donald Trump, not a description of violence. He points to Republicans controlling the House, Senate, White House, and Supreme Court as evidence against the radical-left-domination framing, and asks basic questions about an organization no one can locate. North Carolina Republican Thom Tillis is now threatening to block the nomination unless Blanche meets personally with survivors within a day or two. The committee splits 11 Republicans to 10 Democrats, so a single Republican no vote stops it from reaching the floor, and Tillis says the earliest vote is roughly two weeks out. John Cornyn has separately voiced concerns over the settlement fund. Hawk is skeptical either will follow through. Bensky's testimony covers the January release of Epstein files in which, despite assurances about protecting identities, hundreds of victims were reportedly named and some addresses left unredacted. Hawk contrasts Blanche making time for two days with Ghislaine Maxwell, and her subsequent transfer to a minimum security facility, against never responding to a survivor. In the 1970s, Tony Powell was a star defender for Norwich City. Then he vanished. Decades later, filmmakers Ramiel Petros and Nicholas Freeman found him living as the manager and sole resident of a fading West Hollywood motel, a gay man who walked away from everything at the height of his career rather than live a lie. Petros and Freeman join H. Alan to discuss their documentary 'The Last Guest of the Holloway Motel,' how a chance encounter on Santa Monica Boulevard became their directorial debut, why Tony's story matters now and his hope that it inspires other athletes to come out. The defendants include the Heritage Foundation and its employees Victoria Coates and Robert Greenway, Stephen Miller, Marco Rubio, Markwayne Mullin, Todd Blanche, Kristi Noem, plus Betar and Canary Mission. Khalil's theory traces a line from the Heritage plan known as Project Esther, written after October 7th, to the targeting of activists by those groups, to his own arrest and months in detention during which he missed the birth of his first child. He is a green card holder married to a US citizen. Hawk walks through the evidence the complaint cites, largely the defendants' own public posts, and notes a federal judge's prior finding in the case. He covers the 1871 anti-Klan statute the suit is built on, Steve Vladeck's caution about whether the conspiracy theory will hold, a Hannity interview with Miller, and what happens procedurally next. Jay Clayton, questioned by Jon Ossoff and then Mark Warner, gets as close as any Trump nominee has to acknowledging 2020, allowing that Biden won the Electoral College and that Congress certified it, while still avoiding the popular vote. Hawk notes the pattern across every nominee for a year and a half. The real news is John Cornyn. Pressed on the roughly $1.8 billion settlement fund, Blanche did not reassure him, and Cornyn told CNN's Manu Raju he is truly undecided, with Thom Tillis wanting the fund fully dead. On an 11-10 Judiciary Committee, one Republican no vote ends it. Hawk also covers the judge who called the underlying case a fraud on the court. Golf has never been the loudest sport, but Netflix's The Hawk is making the case that it should be. Will Ferrell stars as Lonnie Hawkins, a pro golfer chasing the fame he had at his 2004 peak, complete with a signature drink, a colorful camper and outfits that could stop traffic on the back nine. In this two-part conversation, Ferrell and Molly Shannon, reuniting on screen for the first time since Talladega Nights, tell me why golf is such an infuriating game and what makes Lonnie so fun to play. Then Luke Wilson, Jimmy Tatro and Fortune Feimster join to debate whether golf is actually boring, share stories from the course and explain why Lonnie is the kind of guy you root for. The Hawk is streaming now on Netflix. Watch the full conversation on YouTube for more from the cast of the year's funniest new sports comedy. The emails center on Ed Martin Jr., the right-wing lawyer pushed out as acting U.S. Attorney for D.C. and then parked at DOJ headquarters to run the weaponization working group. Blanche wrote "I am frustrated" within a month, set up weekly check-ins, and reassigned investigative lanes to his own deputies. Hawk covers Martin's role in the Letitia James mortgage case, the January 6th review, and the Biden auto pen probe, complete with a look at what an auto pen actually is. Along the way Hawk plays Andrew Weissmann on the one question he would ask Blanche, revisits Emil Bove's judicial confirmation hearing, and covers the Epstein grand jury transcripts, Tina Peters, and Blanche's defenders who argue he is a check on worse actors. Hawk focuses on Springfield, Ohio, where he grew up nearby, using two newsletters by Jim Swift at the Bulwark. Haitians came to Springfield at the request of the Republican governor and mayor to fill unfilled manufacturing jobs and reverse decades of population decline. They filled factories, opened businesses, started churches, and stabilized the city, until Donald Trump and JD Vance spread the fabricated story about immigrants eating pets, after which Pastor Carl Ruby says business relocation inquiries stopped entirely. The numbers and the human cost both land hard. Ohio's Haitian population produces an estimated $160 million in annual economic output and nearly $40 million in taxes. Reality TV is having a moment and Gibson Johns is here to break it all down. The podcast host and pop culture expert joins Newsweek's H. Alan Scott to unpack the Zach and Bryce bromance that took over Love Island USA this season, a friendship so beloved it arguably outshined every actual couple in the villa. Then it's on to Summer House, which just landed its first ever Emmy nomination after a season of scandal that gripped the Bravoverse. And finally, the two celebrate 20 years of The Real Housewives, a franchise so dominant it just spawned an entirely new show, The Golden Life, reuniting the RHONY legends in Palm Beach. There was a girl named Philomena — sharp, bright-eyed, excited about school and learning and everything ahead of her. She was nine or ten when Kim Peake met her in a village in Honduras. And looking at her, holding a stack of Christmas cards, Kim had a sudden uncomfortable realization: these cards were sweet, but they weren't what Philomena needed. What she needed was the chance to grow up healthy, stay in school, and have a future with real options. That moment was the beginning of understanding the difference between charity and justice. Charity meets an immediate need. Justice changes the structure. A grain silo purchased through a micro-loan isn't charity — it's a tool that protects a family's harvest, feeds their children for a year, and begins to break the cycle of poverty that no amount of supply distributions ever quite reaches. The difference matters. Not because charity is wrong, but because if that's all we ever do, we've mistaken the symptom for the disease.Micah 6:8 is one of the most direct statements in all of Scripture: He has shown you what is good. What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Three things. Not suggestions. Not ideals. Requirements. And they carry a warning — because by Micah's time, the people of Israel had become the very thing God rescued them from. That's a warning worth taking personally.Support the mission of the Salty Pastor ministry! Have you ever confused charity with justice — done something that felt good but didn't address the underlying problem? What did you learn from that?2. Micah warns that Israel became the very thing God rescued them from. In what ways might you be recreating dynamics of injustice — even unintentionally — in your own spheres of influence?3. What's the difference, in your own words, between acting justly and loving mercy — and can you think of a specific situation where one is needed more than the other right now?The Peake family has also started the Kim Peake foundation. It is a charitable foundation registered at the IRS. If you're interested in what they will be doing, please go to this link and sign up for the email.https://thesaltypastor.com/
Hawk connects the killings to the legal warning from his previous video, that murder and assault are state charges a president cannot pardon, and to a Fourth Amendment argument about race-based stops, referencing an MSNBC segment and New York Times writer Mara Gay. He also previews Trump's Thursday prime time speech on the 2020 election, noting the lapsed federal statutes of limitations, and Dan Abrams on the SAVE Act. He then covers the Michigan Senate primary, where AIPAC-backed Haley Stevens faces Abdul El-Sayed for Gary Peters' open seat and is being mocked over a viral clip, before closing on good news: Trump has finally paid E. Jean Carroll the 5.6 million dollar judgment after exhausting his appeals. Donny Fandango set out with one goal: raise $53,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities...and then proceeded to absolutely crush it. The crew recaps the incredible Radiothon, the huge donations, the emotional moments, and—because this is The Rizzuto Show—the bizarre auction prizes everyone agreed to while Rizz was unconscious after wisdom tooth surgery.Speaking of surgery, Rizz shares the surprisingly abrupt experience of getting knocked out for his wisdom tooth extraction. No dramatic countdown. No floating through space. Just "What are your hobbies?" and instant blackout. The gang compares anesthesia stories, post-surgery meals, and why hydrocodone apparently turns Rizz into a man convinced invisible bugs are crawling on him.Lern makes her very first Facebook Marketplace purchase. What should have been a simple $35 weight bench somehow becomes an FBI-level covert operation involving porch pickups, Venmo timing, getaway driving, and apologizing to Ring doorbells. The crew debates Korean BBQ versus Brazilian steakhouses, discusses the strategy of "beating the house" at all-you-can-eat restaurants, admits to suffering from the legendary meat sweats, and somehow turns dipping sauces into a competitive sport. As if things weren't chaotic enough, Yellowstone provides one of the wildest viral videos of the week when an agitated bison launches a grandfather several feet into the air after a campsite encounter. The crew breaks down exactly what happened, why wildlife deserves way more personal space than tourists seem willing to give it, and why surviving a bison toss wasn't even the only animal-related headline making newsDanny McBride is writing a brand-new G.I. Joe movie. That's enough to send every child of the '80s and '90s into a nostalgic spiral, so naturally the gang spends way too much time debating what made the original cartoons great, why the previous movies never quite landed, and whether nostalgia is actually making a comeback or if we're all just getting old.Chef Liz from Tenacious Eats rolls into the studio with a full Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed dinner preview... and an actual Michelangelo joins the show. Suddenly we're talking Jim Henson costumes, pizza, arcade cabinets, Foot Clan hideouts, movie trivia, and enough food to make every listener immediately hungry. Then it's time for Crap on Celebrities, where Jay-Z shatters Yankee Stadium records with an unbelievable three-night concert event featuring an all-star lineup that somehow keeps getting bigger. Billy Corgan pitches a dream Smashing Pumpkins Sphere residency, The Rock refuses to give up on his Broadway dreams with Kevin Hart, and Hollywood keeps rebooting everything whether we asked for it or not.The gang also dives into blockbuster movie rumors, Batman casting speculation, Hunger Games returning to theaters, Michael Jackson's record-breaking biopic, American Horror Story returning to its witchy roots, and why Love Island somehow managed to hijack everyone's television. There are passionate debates about depressing movies, surprisingly heartfelt tributes to entertainment legends, and several moments where everyone completely loses the plot.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Tourist Seriously Injured After Yellowstone Bison Launches Man 8 Feet In The AirBull gores runner in the face at Spain's San Fermin bull run festival, 12 others hurtRyanair passenger partially sucked out of window on flight from GreeceOklahoma woman, the last American in an iron lung, dies at 78Palm Harbor woman arrested for threatening to kill man, says ‘that's just what girls do': deputiesSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Some episodes have a theme. This one has approximately fourteen. The crew starts by diving headfirst into one of the biggest surprise entertainment stories we've heard in a while: Danny McBride is writing a brand-new G.I. Joe movie. That's enough to send every child of the '80s and '90s into a nostalgic spiral, so naturally the gang spends way too much time debating what made the original cartoons great, why the previous movies never quite landed, and whether nostalgia is actually making a comeback or if we're all just getting old. Then things somehow get even weirder.Chef Liz from Tenacious Eats rolls into the studio with a full Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed dinner preview... and an actual Michelangelo joins the show. Suddenly we're talking Jim Henson costumes, pizza, arcade cabinets, Foot Clan hideouts, movie trivia, and enough food to make every listener immediately hungry. There are handmade pizzas, Japanese-inspired dishes, surprise menu items, beer pairings, cheesecake, pizza rolls, and enough delicious descriptions that someone is probably ordering lunch halfway through the episode.Of course, because this is The Rizzuto Show, absolutely none of these conversations stay on the rails for very long. The gang also wanders into Disney live-action remake debates, celebrity movie failures, action figures, arcade memories, childhood movie trauma, random impressions, and the kind of sarcastic arguments only longtime friends can have. Every tangent somehow creates three more tangents until nobody remembers how the conversation started. It's exactly the kind of beautiful disaster you've come to expect. If you're looking for a daily comedy podcast filled with pop culture commentary, hilarious stories, nostalgic movie talk, celebrity news, and friends making each other laugh, you've found it. This daily comedy podcast is packed with ridiculous conversations, unexpected guests, funny opinions, and enough random chaos to keep your commute entertaining.Whether you've been listening for years or you're jumping into The Rizzuto Show for the first time, this daily comedy podcast proves once again that no topic is too small to become a twenty-minute debate once this crew gets involved. So grab some pizza, avoid the Foot Clan, and enjoy another completely unhinged morning with The Rizzuto Show.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshowConnect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
What happens when The Rizzuto Show tries to remember everything that's happened so far this year? Absolute chaos. The crew attempts a halfway-through-the-year quiz, and let's just say... history, sports, movies, award shows, and basically every major headline take a beating. Somehow everyone becomes confidently wrong while still arguing like they're experts, which is pretty much the perfect recipe for a daily comedy episode. There are passionate debates about depressing movies, surprisingly heartfelt tributes to entertainment legends, and several moments where everyone completely loses the plot. You'll also hear recommendations for an incredible revenge movie you probably haven't seen yet, reactions to new music releases, celebrity birthdays, pop culture nonsense, sports memories that may or may not be accurate, and enough sarcastic commentary to make your commute significantly more entertaining. As always, The Rizzuto Show manages to turn everyday headlines into complete insanity with quick jokes, ridiculous tangents, questionable facts, and the kind of conversations that only happen when friends who've worked together forever are allowed near microphones.Whether you're here for celebrity gossip, weird news, movie talk, sports disasters, or just want to laugh at grown adults confidently misremembering recent history, this daily comedy episode delivers exactly the kind of unpredictable fun you've come to expect. If you love hilarious conversations, pop culture commentary, entertainment gossip, celebrity news, and a funny morning show that never takes itself too seriously, you've found your people. Thanks for making The Rizzuto Show part of your day. The crew recaps the incredible Radiothon, the huge donations, the emotional moments, and—because this is The Rizzuto Show—the bizarre auction prizes everyone agreed to while Rizz was unconscious after wisdom tooth surgery.Apparently getting anesthesia is basically giving your coworkers power of attorney.Rizz returns to discover he's now the proud future owner of a very...unique...piece of jewelry, Melissa bought herself two hours in studio, and Donny narrowly escaped getting one of the weirdest tattoos imaginable. Charity wins, dignity loses. Everybody's happy.Speaking of surgery, Rizz shares the surprisingly abrupt experience of getting knocked out for his wisdom tooth extraction. No dramatic countdown. No floating through space. Just "What are your hobbies?" and instant blackout. The gang compares anesthesia stories, post-surgery meals, and why hydrocodone apparently turns Rizz into a man convinced invisible bugs are crawling on him.Meanwhile, Moon continues adding to his collection of "Craigslist Could Have Been My Last Day On Earth" stories, while Lern makes her very first Facebook Marketplace purchase. What should have been a simple $35 weight bench somehow becomes an FBI-level covert operation involving porch pickups, Venmo timing, getaway driving, and apologizing to Ring doorbells. Then everyone gets hungry. The crew breaks down exactly what happened, why wildlife deserves way more personal space than tourists seem willing to give it, and why surviving a bison toss wasn't even the only animal-related headline making news. They also dive into the Running of the Bulls, debate whether life insurance covers intentionally sprinting in front of enormous angry animals, and discover that some adventures may be better left to someone else's vacation photos. It's another morning full of ridiculous conversations, genuine laughs, questionable life decisions, and proof that no matter how carefully you plan your day, someone is probably about to get launched by wildlife. If you're looking for your next daily comedy podcast, welcome home. When Rizz gets sidelined with swollen cheeks and missing wisdom teeth, someone has to steer the ship...and this time it's Donny Fandango. What follows is exactly the kind of controlled chaos you'd expect from The Rizzuto Show, except nobody's actually sure who's in charge. The crew kicks off another incredible RadioThon benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis while juggling song requests, business shout-outs, outrageous donation incentives, and the now-infamous "Big Dog" sounders that slowly drive everyone in the studio toward complete insanity. Every new donation means another round of audio torture, and somehow everyone keeps asking for more.Donny shares his surprisingly emotional quest for an Egg McMuffin before sunrise, the crew debates whether getting knocked out during dental surgery is worth the money, and everyone relives some absolutely horrifying dentist stories that might make you cancel your next appointment.Moon shares an unbelievable backstage story involving Tool drummer Danny Carey that nearly ended with someone's tour manager becoming a permanent stage decoration, while the gang also celebrates legendary rock bands, debates AC/DC eras, laughs through Conway Twitty requests, and somehow manages to keep an entire RadioThon moving while Riz recovers at home looking like an angry chipmunk.Along the way you'll hear incredible generosity from listeners supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities, hilarious business plugs, ridiculous inside jokes, and the kind of spontaneous moments that make this daily comedy podcast feel like hanging out with your funniest friends every morning.Whether you're here for the music stories, the Big Dog madness, the charity event, or simply to hear Donny survive one of the weirdest mornings in show history, this episode delivers nonstop laughs with a whole lot of heart. Thanks for supporting another daily comedy podcast from The Rizzuto Show. Moon returns from Alabama after spending quality family time driving a boat like every dad whose only mission is launching kids off an inflatable tube at unsafe-but-technically-safe speeds.
