He discusses some of the interesting subjects that The book contains in its 50 chapters. The underlining theme is the bold assertion the the hidden grammar of Protestantism is Satanism. In various ways in this discussion Dr. Jones attempts to prove his thesis. One aspect of this Satanism is what Dr. Jones assumes to be John Calvins heretical notion of total depravity. That man is basically evil even to the point of evil that the Church Fathers never taught. That discussion was not developed here. But what was developed was how Thomas Paine quotes Satan in Milton's poem: Paradise Lost. The American experiment in self government Dr. Jones points out get much of its foundation in Satan's speech for self-government. Satan says: "Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven" in Book 1 (line 263) of Paradise Lost. In the pamphlet wars between the American Patriots and the British of 1775 and 1776 John Fletcher defended John Wesley's harsh critique of the Patriots. Fletcher did indeed suggest that the patriots doctrines were the same as Satan as articulated in his speech in Paradise Lost. For example the Patriots declared that they were not to be subject to the King but rather the King should be subject to them. Likewise in all the Biblical relationships. Paul, as he begins to list the sins that weneed to put off that come from the old man within us. The first one was put offlying. Then secondly, he said, “be angry and sin not” because when youdo, you give place to the devil. Let not the sun go down on your wrath. Angerleads to wrath. Wrath leads to malice. Malice leads to murder. We rememberedJohn 8:44. Jesus said, "You are of your father the devil. The lust ofyour father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not inthe truth. Neither is there any truth in him. For he is a liar and the fatherof it." Nowif you go back to verses 31-32, it's where Jesus said to the disciples, “Ifyou abide in My word, then you are My disciples indeed. You shall know thetruth and the truth shall set you free”. Then in verse 36, another veryfamous verse Jesus said, "And if the Son shall make you free, you shallbe free indeed." Now when I begin to put that all together looking atthis devotion for today, I thought back to Genesis chapters 3-4. That is where Satantempted Eve. Remember the very first thing he said to her was a lie. He said, "Didnot God say you shall not eat of every tree in the garden?" He lied.God didn't say that. Eve responded, "No, we can eat all the trees in thegarden, but there's one we can't eat, and we've been told we can't eat ofthat."  Thenthe Satan said, "Oh, no." He said, "You shall not surelydie." That was his second lie because God has said, "If youeat of it, you will die." Satan said, "No, you won'tdie." Now my friend, we have a major issue in our country todaybecause we've been feeding lies to our young people, actually for the lastseveral generations, lies that they came from a monkey, that they came fromnothing. They've been told that everything just happened from a big explosionbillions of years ago. As a result, they have no value of life and do not careabout life.  Now,think about what happened with Cain, the first son that's born along with hisbrother Abel, when he gets angry. Look at these verses in Genesis 4:1-6. Put ittogether. Cain gets angry. What does he do? It overwhelms him to the point thathe murders his brother Abel. Then when God shows up and asked Cain, "Hey,where is Abel? I'm looking for him." Cain lies and says, "How do Iknow where he is? I don't know where he is." Look at those verses veryclearly. Did you see what happens when we get angry and give place to the devil?We get caught up in the bondage of lying just like Cain did.  Whenwe're in the bondage of lying, we actually give place to the devil. Don't giveplace to the devil. Don't give the devil opportunity in your life to take holdof you and lead you into worse sins that will cause terrible consequences inyour life and the lives of others. This is so powerful and so important. I wantto encourage you to think about putting all these things together. Remember, asJesus has taught us, you'll know the truth. The truth sets you free. If the Sonsets you free, you're free indeed. Why? You're free from the bondage of lying.You're free from the bondage of Satan.  Knowingthe truth, knowing Jesus, sets you free from the bondage of living a lie and alife of vanity. What was the curse put on Cain? That he would be a vagabond andlive a life of fear and insecurity (Genesis 4:12-14). He would live an emptylife, wandering around, wondering what life was all about. That is the problemin too many of our lives today, in America and for that matter, the world too.When we kick God out of our lives, and we deny Him. When we put His Word on theback burner of our lives, even daily, we headed down the path of living a lieand bowing down to Satan.  RememberJesus said, “If you abide in My words, then what you will know the truth,and if you know the truth you will be free”. Free to enjoy life doing whatyou ought to be doing! God help us to find that freedom in His Word in ourlives as we see Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

 Praise Series #19 Can We Worship Through The Struggle?Job 1:20-21 “20 Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”I thought this was an interesting verse in Job. This verse came right after Satan's first attack on Job. Job has just learned that all of his oxen and donkeys were taken away from him, and the people who took them struck down the servants with swords. Then he learned that his sheep and the servants who took care of them were burned to death. As if that wasn't enough, another servant came in and told them all his camels had been captured and his servants had been killed with a sword. And then, to top it all off, a servant came and told him that his sons and daughters were eating and drinking in the older brother's house when a powerful wind swept in and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on the young people, so they died.This is one of the amazing things about Job. He is so faithful. I am not sure about you, but if I learned that I had lost everything, my first instinct would not be to worship. I do love to worship, but I don't feel like I would be able to worship immediately. He had just found out that not only did he lose all physical things, but he lost all of his children as well. I feel like I would need to go through a period of being angry at God. I would also be angry in general. I would be sad, which I am sure Job was sad.I don't think my first thing to do would be to worship the Lord and say, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” Can you believe Job was blessing the Lord just minutes after finding out that his children had died? I knew he never blamed God; that is why he got into this predicament in the first place. He was such a good servant, and the enemy tried to tell God it was because God blessed him so much.I wonder if we would be this faithful. I wonder if we worship the Lord for all the blessings he gave us. Are we what some would call fair-weather friends with the Lord? We are there for Him when all is going well, and yet we blame Him at the first sign of trouble. Do we get angry and scream at Him when we lose our job or our car? What do we do when we lose our children?Job didn't just lose one of his children to a deadly disease. He didn't just lose one of his children to suicide or murder. He lost all his children at the same time. Job went from being the father of seven sons and three daughters to being childless. I can't imagine the pain he must have been feeling, and yet the first thing he did was worship the Lord. Not only did he worship the Lord, but he also said, “What the Lord gave, the Lord can take away.” He is acknowledging that God is the almighty one and that everything Job had came from Him. He is acknowledging that all we have comes from the Lord.I just can't get over Job's faith. Satan did not stop here with this first attack. Satan came back and infected Job with terrible boils from the soles of his feet to the top of his head. Job was still worshiping the Lord. His wife told him he was a fool. She said to him, “Are you still holding onto your integrity? Curse God and die!”  Job replied, “You speak as a foolish woman speaks. Should we accept only good from God and not adversity?” Throughout all that Job went through, He did not sin once with what he said.This is remarkable. I can totally understand what Job is saying when he says that God gave us everything we have, and so He has a right to take it away. I also agree that if we accept the good from God, we must accept the bad, too. However, I agree with Him in the place I am at right now. I haven't lost any children. I haven't lost my home or all my belongings. I don't know what I would do if I had to go through what Job had to go through.Job truly loved the Lord. He trusted the Lord fully. I love that the first thing he did was to worship the Lord. I have talked with you many times about how important praise is, and I think this is such a good example of how praise and worship can help us get through anything. I don't think that Job understood what was going on. I don't think He knew God's plan, and I don't think He knew how blessed he would be afterward. It would have been easier for Job to go through all he went through if he knew there was an end in sight and that he would be so blessed afterward.However, God doesn't always reveal His plan to us. He leaves us guessing and wondering, and this is where we can lose hope. We can lose hope, or we can praise Him and worship HIm and trust that even though we don't know what His plan is, we trust He has one and that it is for our good. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” We can stand on this promise. We can rest assured that even though we may be going through a terrible time right now, God has got us in the palm of His hand and He will work all things for our good in His time.I love that Job worshiped the Lord, but he wasn't always happy. My sister pointed out the other day that when people usually talk about Job, they make it seem like he was full of joy while he was suffering. This is not the case. He was frustrated and confused. He called out to the Lord for help and expressed his confusion to the Lord. He even told the Lord it would have been better if he had never been born.I am talking about Job today, not to make you feel bad about how you are handling your difficult situation. I am telling you about Job today to remind you that even though you are in a difficult situation, even though you are angry, frustrated, and confused with the Lord right now, you can still worship Him. You can be angry with Him and yet not blame Him. You can be angry with Him for what you are going through and yet praise Him for the unknown way He will work this for your good.Romans 8:28 says, “We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.” We can rest on this promise, too! We can stand on it and declare it in those times when we aren't sure how God will save us from our situation or how He will bring us through it. God is good. If we can find a way to worship him in the hard times, as Job did, then we will find those hard times just a bit easier. One way to do this is to make a worship playlist, and when the enemy starts trying to get you to blame God for your troubles, listen to the playlist and remind yourself of how good God truly is. Remind yourself of all the times He has blessed you in the past. One great song to listen to when the enemy is trying to whisper lies in your ear is “The Devil Is A Liar” by Colton Dixon. Our faith in Christ makes us stand out from the common people; it also draws hostility from a world that gives no regard for God. We're spirits possessing souls, which are where our thoughts and emotions live; in light of this, it's imperative that we carefully monitor who is influencing our thought lives: Satan rules the world, and his strategy is to invade our minds by ensnaring us in worldly things. In Similitude; Becoming Full of Grace and Truth by Autumn Dickson Before we jump straight into the Old Testament and the Creation story, we have an opportunity to read in Moses and Abraham. There are many truths that were restored through these works, and there are many truths we already know that are echoed. In Moses this week, we read about a vision that Moses was given on the top of a high mountain where Heavenly Father was speaking to him. Here is a verse from that vision. Moses 1:6 And I have a work for thee, Moses, my son; and thou art in the similitude of mine Only Begotten; and mine Only Begotten is and shall be the Savior, for he is full of grace and truth; but there is no God beside me, and all things are present with me, for I know them all. There are a couple of phrases in here that are powerful, especially when put together. Let's start with this one: “…and mine Only Begotten is and shall be the Savior, for he is full of grace and truth…” The Savior holds grace and truth within Him; He is full of it. Let's talk about both individually. Under Topics and Questions on the church website, we read this: “Grace is a gift from Heavenly Father given through His Son, Jesus Christ. The word grace, as used in the scriptures, refers primarily to enabling power and spiritual healing offered through the mercy and love of Jesus Christ.” Christ is full of the enabling power and spiritual healing, and He offers it in mercy and love. There are a couple of other truths that we learn in that same topic page. Overcoming physical and spiritual death are part of the grace that He offers. He helps us do things we would not be able to do on our own. He strengthens us. He helps us return to live with God. He helps us every day. The Savior is also full of truth. He knows things as they are. There are two different perspectives with which we can look at this idea of Christ being full of truth. One, we know that He is currently full of truth. He knows all things. He is omnipotent. When He tells us to do something, He knows what He is talking about. However, there is also another perspective. Christ may have all knowledge now, but it didn't start out that way when He started His mortal journey on earth. On earth, He came as a baby and forgot everything. He had to learn truth through the power of the Spirit as He grew. He did not know everything on earth. Otherwise, He could not have remained on earth (Moses 1:5). So we know that Christ didn't know everything while He was here, but He knew all of the most important truths and lived perfectly according to those truths. There is another phrase in the first verse that we read that I want to utilize to add another layer here. “…Moses, my son; and thou art in the similitude of mine Only Begotten…” To be in the similitude of someone is to resemble them, not so much in looks, but in how one chooses to live one's life. Moses was like Christ, even if he was not perfectly like Christ. Moses was likewise full of grace and truth. When we are baptized, we promise to take the Savior's name upon and become like Him. Essentially, we promised to be in a similitude of the Only Begotten. When people look at us, they should see something that roughly resembles the Savior. We can also be full of grace and truth. We may be full of grace and truth in a different way than Christ, but we can be full of it too. Let's go back through our paragraphs about how Christ is full of grace and how He is full of truth, and let's look at the parallels in our own lives. 1. We can be full of grace. We can offer the enabling power and spiritual healing with mercy and love. No, we cannot offer it in the same way that Christ can, but we can help with it. When you sin and harm your spirit, another person can't go in and fix it. However, another person can take you to the doctor. As I was growing up, I had a shame problem. I took guilt beyond its helpful, proper boundaries and tried to beat myself into submission in the gospel. Not a great way to approach the gospel. I remember being on my mission, and my companion and I came in later than we were supposed to. We didn't set out to be disobedient, but we did make that mistake and it could have been prevented with a bit more effort on our part. I remember telling my companion that I didn't feel guilty and that I felt bad about not feeling guilty. With no hesitation she simply responded, “Maybe Heavenly Father knows you don't need to feel guilty in order to do better.” And she was definitely right. Coming in late happened once on my mission. Making me feel guilty wasn't going to change that. It wouldn't have served me. It was such a simple, nonchalant thing for her to say, but it changed my life. I had experienced a lot of self-inflicted spiritual damage in the name of trying to force myself to do better. Attacking myself and berating myself over mistakes didn't draw me closer to Christ or help me be better. Ironically, it did the opposite. My companion did not spiritually heal me. She is not the one who could take away those feelings or pay the price for them. Rather, she took me to the doctor. The grace she offered me was not her own, but she was still full of it. Overcoming physical death is a little different. We're not sure how resurrection looks or how that comes to pass. Do we get to help with that process through the power of Jesus Christ in the same way that we help with ordinances like baptism? Even if we don't, we can still point others towards Christ and hope for the resurrection. Overcoming spiritual death is similar to offering healing; it is a part of healing. It's not our power, but we can take people to the doctor. His power can be offered through us. We can help others do things they would not be able to do on their own. We can strengthen others. We can help others return to live with God. We can help others every day. 2. We can be full of truth. Eventually, we are going to progress to the extent that we know all things. That will take a long time. Until then, we can know all of the most important truths. We can be so full of truth that we live our lives differently than we would otherwise. My dad used to frequently echo the truth taught by Boyd K. Packer that doctrine changes behavior faster than a study of behavior changes behavior. When we see and know things as they are, we change accordingly and we feel differently. “As they are” is a really key phrase here. I've learned to see things as they are a lot more clearly since I became a mother. Let me give some examples. My third child, KJ, is obsessed with our youngest baby. She is constantly running over to Vivian and rolling her over so she can hold her down and cuddle her. Vivian is less than impressed now that she can walk. I swear I sound like a broken record all day, “KJ, let her go. KJ, let her go.” There was one time that KJ did it where Vivian got hurt. Vivian’s leg got stuck at a bad angle while KJ was trying to roll her over, and Vivian started crying pretty hard. KJ felt so bad she could hardly stand it. She ran and hid on the stairs. After making sure Vivian was okay, I called KJ over to me. KJ couldn't even look at me. She was trying to swallow back tears, and her chin kept trembling. It was rather cute on her four year old face. I remember feeling that way before when I accidentally hurt my dog when I was younger. I could hardly bear to even look at my dog the whole day because it hurt so bad. As I sat and thought about how that felt, the Spirit taught me something, and I was able to teach it to KJ. I told KJ, “The bad feeling is actually a good sign. It means you're a good person because you would never want to hurt Vivian. If you weren't feeling bad, then that would be a bad sign. Feeling bad just means you love her so much.” I guess the Spirit testified of that truth to her, and she brightened immediately and ran after Vivian again. Being full of truth is more than being able to recite that God judges us by our hearts. It's understanding how God's judgment works and being able to thwart Satan when he tries to mix us up. It is understanding the knowledge. It is applying the knowledge to any given situation and acting accordingly. If we want to be full of the truth like the Savior, it's more than just reciting what the Savior said. It's understanding what He said and seeing things as they really are. I testify that the Savior is full of grace and truth, and I testify that one of His purposes is to help us become so as well. This is done line upon line, with each practice taking us closer and closer. It's about taking our hearts with us into those actions, rather than going through the motions of the gospel. I likewise testify that the Savior is trying to fill us with grace and truth because He loves us and knows it will make us happier. Autumn Dickson was born and raised in a small town in Texas. The Christmas story contains a dramatic cosmic battle that most people miss beneath the familiar nativity scenes. When Jesus was born, an invisible war was raging between God and Satan, with the infant Christ as the primary target. Herod's massacre of innocent children in Bethlehem wasn't merely the act of a paranoid king, but Satan's desperate attempt to destroy God's redemptive plan before it could unfold. Entirely secretive, the talk is put on by Acts 17 Collective, referring to the Biblical book of Acts wherein we read about how the divine being is not like material things (gold and silver) but instead something far more valuable. Is this ironic or intentional? Many see this as the fulfillment of prophecy, but perhaps it is the fulfilling of pop-culture prophecy instead. Perhaps technocrats are playing and preying on 4 billion Christians and Muslims to run a scenario designed to strip away faith in the divine and parlay it into technology. A satirizing of eschatology? The tech-bros believe that God messed up and man can fix it by replacing organic creation with synthetics. Everlasting life can be achieved through gold and silver (material means) which will extinguish the real spiritual nature of mankind - the true gold that is ‘Christ' consciousness - and replace it with antichrist consciousness. In the process, vampires like Thiel will feed on your corpse. True eternal life begins with recognizing death and choosing to make the world a better place anyways rather than becoming a nihilist. It is the choice of Christ consciousness and of faith in what lies beyond. One often overlooked detail of the technocracy is the apparent obsession with homosexuality, transgenderism, and Judaism. Consider the gay technocrats of Thiel, Yuval Harari, Sam Altman, and the debated sexuality of Alex Karp. All but Thiel are also Jewish, as is Larry Ellison and Curtis Yarvin, the man giving JD Vance many of his philosophical ideas. In fact, Thiel and Yarvin created Vance and influence him through their Dark Enlightenment philosophy, which wants to replace governments with a techno-monarchy equivalent to the Christian concept of a NWO. Are their Homosexual practices recycling sexual energy to create synthetic life? Homosexuality is also a rejection of God's creation, which is why so many Jews embrace not just homosexuality but the entirety of LGBTQ. People like Sam Altman have placed the hexagram into his ChatGPT logo while he has unveiled an ORB device that is a machine which confirms your humanity. We need only recall Matthew 26 where the high priest Pharisees accuse Jesus of being the Son of God to which Jesus rejects such a notion and lectures them on the end of their monopoly over salvation. The tech-bros are the modern pharisees and they not only reject Christ, but intend to convince his followers to fight a Holy War, and then offer salvation from the destruction with their vampiric machines. Alex Karp has promised a 3-front war is coming and Larry Ellison did say that most of the advanced AI technology was coming from Herzliya Israel, not Silicon Valley, which would make it a brother to transgenderism which finds its home in Tel Aviv. If all of this is slightly more true then it means Israel is the beast and the Balfour Declaration of 1917 was the dragon giving power unto the same. This is probably why the Trump administration has given military roles to the tech-bros and held high-profile dinners for Silicon Valley technocrats who he is himself a slave too.
