Every human has a longing to connect with others and build relationships. This seems especially difficult in the workplace as workload increases, hybrid work environments decrease in-person contact, and connection activities rarely occur. In this type of setting, we may feel confused about when to open up or how to ask the right kind of questions that help us get to know those we work with better. We often get stuck in the shallows of small talk. In today's episode, Dr. Bray shares five skills for authentic communication. These five skills help you build and maintain relationships in the workplace. Research shows you are happier and more productive at work if you have friends. “Health doesn't happen in a vacuum. It happens in community and society,” explains Pilar Gerasimo, founding editor of Experience Life Magazine. Pilar believes we must make unconventional choices to thrive in an unhealthy world. So in this episode, we explore how to take ownership of our health and find the happiness we seek. In an age where we are inundated with constant messaging, it's easy to fall into cycles of burnout and emotional depletion. With busy schedules where we have to cook, clean, and work with little time to ourselves, it's challenging to find time to rethink our health. If we take a step back and resist our toxic default realities, we can create the space to make small changes that lead to transformative action. By making healthy choices part of who we are, we can be the change we wish to see. In fact, in an unhealthy world, choosing health is almost like an act of rebellion. Learn more about societal sabotage, the virtuous cycle of healthy deviance, and stop being a slave to what Pilar termed the “unhealthy default reality.” Quotes “Health doesn't happen in a vacuum. It happens in community and society.” (3:44-3:48 | Pilar) “People need to be acknowledged for the experiences they've had up until this time and be encouraged to notice what triggers unhealthy choices.” (11:04-11:14 | Pilar) “My passion is helping people master the art of being healthy in an unhealthy world.” (16:07-16:12 | Pilar) “We have a built-in survival mechanism that tells us we need other people to be happy to survive.” (18:27-18:32 | Pilar) “We need to start breaking some of the rules and assumptions about what we have to do or should do and begin thinking more for ourselves.” (27:01-27:09 | Pilar) Links Resources Are You A Healthy Deviant? Too often we're told it's not possible to achieve what we know in our hearts we are capable of. Today's guest has a passion for proving the naysayers wrong. In this episode, you'll hear how to attain an “unbreakable” body through important mindset shifts. About Kate Galliett Kate Galliett is the all-around powerhouse behind Fit For Real Life and The Unbreakable Body. Her main motivation in life is to help people build their bodies to be strong, capable, and Unbreakable so they can live life as fully, deeply, and energetically as possible. Kate earned a B.S. in Exercise Science from Valparaiso University and went on to study a variety of certifications and training, all of which helped her curate the holistic approach she takes to body care today. In addition to her work with clients in-person and on her websites, she's coached at Nerd Fitness Adult Summer Camp and has been featured in Experience Life Magazine, Livestrong.com, and a variety of other publications. She lives in the great state of Utah where she can put her Unbreakable body to use for adventures in the mountains. What Happens When Intentions Meet Action Throughout this conversation, Kate explains why it's never too late to attain your best health. When you combine the belief in what's possible with the discipline of taking action, limits will begin to disappear. It'll take work, but when action follows intention, results happen. It's a long journey between deciding that something better is possible for you and accomplishing it. It will take hard work. Kate explains how to shift your mindset to be less rigid and open to growth. With her “Explorer's Mindset”, you'll change how you view your body and become the expert in what your body needs. You Are The Only Expert on You More than anything, Kate wants us to trust our inner wisdom. You are unique. So is your body. Other people can certainly provide advice, but you are the only true expert on your body. Trusting yourself isn't necessarily easy. The irony is we often need to be taught how. Kate wants you to question any accepted wisdom about health. It may be true, but if you don't examine it for yourself, you won't really understand what's best for you. What is one way that you are the expert on your own body? Leave a comment on the episode page! In This Episode What led Kate to help other people become their fittest selves [4:00] How belief and action work in tandem to help you reach your goals [8:00] Honing an explorer's mindset to better understand your body's needs [15:00] Why you are the only expert of yourself [21:00] Overcoming your initial resistance to changes and new practices [33:30] Quotes “There's always going to be somebody telling you it's too late, you're too old, it's too hard for you. I'm here saying it's not; here are all the things you need to do to change that path for yourself.” [8:23] “Question everything…. If you don't ever examine it, how will you ever know.” [25:25] “The point of a teacher or expert is not to make you dependant on them. The point should be to help you become wiser so that you can carry on on your own with new critical thinking skills and wisdom.” [30:41] “Those little things matter. Let's go all-in on each little thing, not halfway in on the big thing.” [43:52] “The notion of ‘too old' is a myth. Act appropriately.” [45:41] Review Fed and Fearless on Apple Podcasts! Geoff Dardia couldn't have been a better guest to have on this week. I realized, after the episode, that we had recorded it on the one-year anniversary of the show. Sure, we had a lot to talk about – Ukraine, the Afghan withdrawl, the state of military readiness in the event of war in Europe…or the South China Sea, the intersection of our kids and military service, but it was great to have Geoff on to discuss since he is exactly the kind of guest that makes Profiles in Havok (and the old Weekly Havok) so popular. In fact, Geoff's other appearance on the show was on Weekly Havok, so I'm glad we could officially record his “profile”. If you don't remember Geoff from his previous appearance… Master Sergeant Geoffrey P Dardia is a career Special Forces soldier who helped stand up, and currently serves as the Operations Sergeant for 3rd Special Forces Group's Human Performance and Wellness Program. MSG Dardia is also the founder and Program Director for 3rd Special Forces Group's META (Medical, Education, Transition, Advocacy/Awareness) Transition Program. MSG Dardia served in both the Central Command (CENTCOM) and US Africa Command (AFRICOM) areas of operation as a Special Forces advisor, and as a liaison at the US Embassy in Burkina Faso. MSG Dardia is also a Veteran's Affairs Certified Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC) and served as the Ft Bragg Wounded Warrior Battalion Liaison for United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).As the Operation's Sergeant for 3rd Special Forces Group's Human Performance Program, MSG Dardia oversees, and is part of, a multidisciplinary team consisting of Group Medical, Preservation of The Force and Family (POTFF), Behavioral Health, Tactical Human Optimization Rapid Rehabilitation and Reconditioning (THOR3) and the Chaplain's Office. 3rd Special Forces Group's Human Performance program works tirelessly “to prevent and mitigate performance degrading factors across the physiological, psychological and emotional domains in order to optimize readiness and tactical performance, maximize career longevity, and preserve the soldier and family.”MSG Geoffrey Dardia also founded and directed the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Health Initiative Program for Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation where he created a pipeline that has directly assisted hundreds of wounded, ill and injured SOF members and their families. In the SOF Health Initiative program, service members, veterans and their families receive the most comprehensive, and state of the art medical care available. The SOF Health Initiative Program provides access to and awareness of personalized, functional medicine approaches that deliver lifestyle, integrative, and nutritional interventions that address the root causes of dysfunction in the SOF community. The SOF Initiative program educates and empowers service members, veterans and their families to take ownership of their health and actions and to work as force multipliers/ambassadors to create a healthier and more resilient community.MSG Geoffrey Dardia works around the clock both as an active duty soldier and as a veteran advocate (trusted agent), public speaker and as guest writer for the Havok Journal where he educates and empowers people from all walks to take ownership of their health. MSG Dardia is a frequent guest on several military and health related podcasts and has also been featured in high visibility publications such as the New York Times, Army Times, Military Times, and Experience Life Magazine. MSG Dardia cowrote and published his first scientific paper in 2019 in the Alternate Therapies in Health and Medicine (ATHM) Journal titled “Neurotoxicity Associated with Traumatic Brain Injury, Blast, Chemical, Heavy Metal and Quinoline Drug Exposure.”So clearly, Geoff has nothing to say. Just listen to how much we manage to cover anyway. https://www.taskforcedagger.org/ (Task Force Dagger) https://hunterseven.org/ (Hunter Seven Foundation)...

So, I came across Gabby Bernstein back in 2008 while reading an article in the New York Times. But I didn’t fully get into her work until 2011 when I was going through a terrible break-up. From her books to her live events to her guided meditations, her work has played a significant role in my own personal growth, and I’m so honored to have her on the show to share all kinds of business wisdom with you. In this episode, she shares the life event in her 20’s that made her fearless in the pursuit of her work as a spiritual teacher, what it was like to start a business before social media existed and why word of mouth was the secret to her growth especially in the beginning, what it looked like to transition from coaching clients to exclusively make a living speaking and writing books, why she was forced to come to terms with her workaholism 10 years into business, and what it looked like for her to finally build a team, why she says focusing on service has been the secret to her success and global impact, the 7 blocks that we must get over in order to become what she calls a “Super Attractor”, and so much more! The term deviant often brings negative connotations. But health journalist and co-host of The Living Experiment podcast, Pilar Gerasimo, wants you to try the deviant lifestyle to fully handle modern life. Whether dealing with a pandemic or everyday challenges, she reminds people that "A high-vitality, high-energy, high-resiliency person always stands a better chance of getting through periods of high stress." Her past life as founding editor of Experience Life Magazine and now author of The Healthy Deviant, all make her especially committed to the adage, "If you're not breaking the rules, you're probably breaking yourself." She shares the Morning Minutes Ritual that can help you take control of your autonomy each morning and urges you to adopt a lifestyle that observes your own ultradian rhythms. Why is she so passionate? Her research found that 50 percent of US adults are living with chronic illness and only 3 percent of America is healthy, happy, and on track to stay that way. In Episode #10 of Real Leaders with Roshini, Experience Life Magazine's Jamie Martin says, "If you can't pronounce it, don't eat it," and shares why Michelle Obama is her dream cover story. She also had to rely on her own habits of wellness when her family was struck by the death of her young nephew due to a rare genetic disease. Now, she's an advocate and educator on Krabbe Disease. Jamie doesn't shoot for perfection but progress. And if she were a cocktail, she'd be a gin and tonic--partly because of the ability to add your own twist. +Become a contributing member of the podcast + Money is one of those topics that, uuuuuuuuugh can bring up so many things - full spectrum. For me - guilt, shame, not good enough, contraction, avoidance, and guilt. It’s different for each person. One thing is for sure though, we definitely don’t like to talk about it in this culture. We also don’t provide basic education on how to work with it well. It’s personally one my main healing entry points, and one that is so essential to address if you are going to be engaged in life and not meditating in a cave 24/7. Over the years I’ve made my way through a variety of approaches to working with money - both spiritual and uber practical, and they seem to miss the full picture. It wasn’t until I came across Bari’s very somatic based money teachings that things started to shift. Bari pieces together all the different layers together in way a that is incredibly nurturing, direct, and effective. In this first episode of season 2 Bari shares some crazy helpful tools and illuminating stories on how we can heal our relationship to money, develop healthy money practices, and find our way to financial happiness. "Fear, anxiety, anger, sadness, checking out, joy, guilt, excitement - all the emotions that come up in any other big area of life will come up with money too. They are all welcome. They are all part of the terrain." We discussed: How Bari’s daunting student loan surprisingly propelled her out of her somatic therapy practice into conscious bookkeeping and later money therapy The power of basic financial education - and how the lack of it affects everyone Why we need to address the psychological, spiritual, and practical levels when working with money Money shame - how it shows up and the initial antidote to unravel it The key of the body check-in for any money moments Money Dates - how to set yourself up well Why you need to look at your numbers and identify your money values The inner money judge voice The money differences that can arise with couples Tips for having those tough money conversations and plans with your partner The Art of Money for Financial Happiness Resources: Website: http://baritessler.com/ Instagram: @baritessler The Art of Money School: http://baritessler.com/art-of-money/ About Bari: Bari Tessler Linden, M.A., is a Financial Therapist, Mentor Coach, Mama-preneur, and the Founder of The Art of Money. I am grateful for the opportunity to share this conversation with you today! In this show, I am talking with Financial Therapist, Bari Tessler Linden. We explore mindfulness and money, and how we can start making healthier money decisions that support the life we want to live. We talk about the importance of money healing and how that journey starts from the inside out. When we learn about our personal money stories we can heal and grow from them, while discovering our "enough-ness." We touch on money shame and why we feel embarrassed to even talk about our money. We dive deeply into the topic of being an "under-earner," and how to break the cycle of over-giving / under-receiving. How important it is to create healthy boundaries and to practice saying "no" more often. This conversation is rich with powerful and practical tips and Bari's wise, loving guidance will empower you on your money healing journey. Most of us were not taught how to have a relationship to money … We’re learning it as adults. It needs to be done in baby steps. There’s lots of learning curves. We need to be loving, gentle and compassionate around it. – Bari Tessler On this episode of the Plan Simple Meals Podcast, I’m so excited on many levels to talk with Bari Tessler about money and mindset. Her approach to money is really similar to the way I approach food and health. Bari trained as a psychotherapist and brings that framework to her money methodology. We talk about bringug attention and awareness and compassion to all the big areas of life that are challenging or that we have shame around—including our relationship to money. I love that she does so much work with healing to start our money work. She recognizes that most of us are never taught to have a relationship with money or how to have conversations about money. As we learn these things as adults, we need to baby steps and accept the learning curve. And we need to be loving, gentle and compassionate to ourselves around money and this learning process. We talk about: The first step to change being awareness, getting curious, gathering data, whether it’s money or food or some other change we need to make, and how to use a body check in to gain awareness as an antidote to money shame. Tapping into our personal money story—what we got from our parents, from religion, from other aspects of our lives Staying with big emotions so that we can work through them (because they will keep coming up) Focusing on your values as you do money work and even aligning your bookkeeping with your values + the dance couples do to align their values and spending patterns Creating a money map that includes basic needs, comfortable lifestyle, ultimate or needs, wants, desires The concept of a money date and how to make them enjoyable BIO Bari Tessler Linden, M.A., is a Financial Therapist, Mentor Coach and Mama-preneur. LINKS BariTessler.com The Art of Money The Four Phases of Money with Your Honey Doable Changes from this episode: DO A BODY CHECK IN. Check in on a few levels. On a physical level, what are you noticing? On a sensation level, what are you noticing? On an emotional level, what are the emotions that are present? On a breathing level, how deep, how shallow, where in your body? This only takes a minute. Try it anytime you are interacting with money this week, like when you have money conversations with your spouse, when you are looking at your balances or paying your bills, when you’re at about to purchase something. PLAN A MONEY DATE. Start with 20 minutes with your partner. You each get 10 minutes to talk and 10 minutes to listen deeply. Share your money stories. To do this, answer questions like: What is your mother’s relationship with money? How is yours the same, or different? What is your father’s relationship with money? How is yours the same, or different? How did your ethnicity, religion, or spirituality impact your relationship with money? What was your money role in the family, especially if you have siblings? (spender, saver, combo, etc.) IDENTIFY YOUR VALUES. Bari talks a lot about identifying your values and mapping your money around that. Start by noticing what’s important to you and the spending you do related to that. Ask your partner to share their values and how they want to spend. You will likely be very different, but understanding the other person’s values can start to smooth out tension around spending.
Today's guest, Bari Tessler is a financial therapist. We've been acquainted for many years and more recently had the opportunity to drop in more deeply at a women's leadership event. Bari is a financial therapist and the creator and author of The Art of Money. It's no secret that I LOVE soaking up wisdom from women who are further along on their life path than I am and this is one of the reasons I was pumped to have her on the show! Bari's big truth was about getting her ass kicked by perimenopause. From there we discussed how she's working to leave a legacy both in her business and through parenting her son. She also shared her story, the training and experience that led her to create her integrative approach to money (which includes the antidote to money shame!), and the relationship between urgency, responsibility and thoroughness. This was one of those interviews I wished could have gone for a whole extra hour, we'll definitely have to have Bari back. Enjoy and share! Food is considered by some - and for some - to be a "keystone habit." Coined by Charles Duhigg, a keystone habit is a habit that leads to the development of other good habits. Getting 8 hours of sleep per night, for instance, is a keystone habit. For many, organizing our food (and, I would add, solving for addictive behaviors around food) is also a keystone habit. When we begin to clean up our food, we may notice ourselves waking up to other parts of our life that we feel ready to clean up. One of the biggies that can come up here is, you guessed it - Money. Bari Tessler is a pioneer of her unique style of money work, which brings her background in somatic psychology (body psychology) into the financial picture by leading her students to do their emotional money work first, before they dive in to organizing the numbers. Concepts like forgiveness, completions, ritual, and money stories play a big part in Bari's approach to money work. In my opinion, her integrative approach is what makes her courses, podcasts, blogs, and other offerings, so effective. In this episode, I interview Bari about: Her own history and relationship with food Parallels between food work and money work Her favorite, astonishingly simple tool for greater money awareness What are money practices? And how are they an act of self-care? Moving from secrecy to transparency in our money lives The first two steps for moving from disempowerment to empowerment around money Bari's gentle and effective approach is perfect for anyone who ever feels overwhelmed by the vast subject of money. When you think of Body Kindness do you think of money too? I didn’t always make the connection, but I realized that how money moves through your life is an expression of your values and beliefs about yourself. I have also experienced clients who were restrictive with food and money “you don’t deserve…” and clients who spent frivolously to get that “reward” only to experience a downward spiral when the bills came. From the moment we sat down for this conversation, my guest today gave me a sense of genuine inspiration to be a better person, to be a more authentic person, living with gratitude, acceptance, and grace. Her name is Pilar Gerasimo, and many of you know her as the founder of Experience Life Magazine, which she ran for 15 years. But now she has embarked on some new ventures including a wonderful podcast called The Living Experimentwith her co-host Dallas Hartwig, she has developed a concept called The Healthy Deviant which forms the basis for an upcoming book. We will get into all of that in this conversation, and her perspective on how to approach health and wellness is very exciting, but what endeared me to Pilar is that she created her life from the ground up, in complete alignment and respect to her upbringing. She grew up on a communal organic farm in western Wisconsin, which is where she now calls home and where we met for this interview. She was the daughter of a sociologist father whose main interest was understanding why we live the way we live, and a mother who was a back-to-the-land farmer, an early environmentalist who started this organic commune with her friends to grow their own food and live a more natural life. But for Pilar growing up, this wasn't necessarily ideal and she had the same cravings, desires, and struggles with self-esteem and body image that afflict so many teenagers and young adults. But the roots of her family heritage and upbringing gave her the confidence to trust her instincts, and when nothing in the popular media gave her the answers to her health and fitness questions, she went ahead and found her own answers. We start off this conversation talking about her upbringing and the difficult but often beautiful appearance of living off the land, that I think so many of us crave in a world of complexity and technology. Pilar was a gracious host, spending almost two hours on the mic with me after a tour of the farm, and I left there realizing that this conversation was about a person living with a distinct sense of meaning and purpose. She has been living life of curiosity and acceptance, looking to help others live better and healthier lives by first charting her own course to discovering what works. Experience Life Magazine, Healthy Deviant, the Living Experiment, in their titles, embody the spirit of how Pilar has lived her life. Ok, let's get started with my guest today, Pilar Gerasimo. Today on the Podcast, guest Bari Tessler. I've said it before and I'll say it again, "The teacher is the student." And the best coaches, mentors, therapists are those who continually do their own work to heal and grow, understanding we're all in this dance together. So it's with great appreciation I introduce you to my dear colleague and personal mentor, Bari Tessler. As a Financial Therapist, Mentor Coach and Mamapreneur: Bari's work has been seen on Oprah.com, Inc.com, the Huffington Post, Us News & World Report, Reuters Money, The Fiscal Times, The Yogi Times, Best Self Magazine, Emerging Women, and you may have even seen her grace the cover of Experience Life Magazine. And while she's achieved undeniable "success," it's the way she's redefined and reclaimed what that meant for herself (at every phase of business and season of life) which gives so much hope to anyone wondering how to do this whole creative entrepreneurial life as a mom. (Hi, that's ME!) Today I'm speaking with Bari Tessler. Bari Tessler Linden, MA, is a Financial Therapist, Mentor Coach and Mama-preneur. Bari's gentle, body-centered approach weaves together personal, couple, and creative entrepreneurial money teachings into one complete tapestry. She is the founder of The Art of Money: a global, year-long money school, which integrates Money Healing, Money Practices and Money Maps. Her work has been featured on Oprah.com, Inc.com, and the Huffington Post and in US News & World Report, Reuters Money, The Fiscal Times, Experience Life Magazine, Yogi Times, Best Self Magazine and Emerging Women. Bari is also the author of The Art of Money: A Life-Changing Guide to Financial Happiness, published by Parallax Press. Learn more about Bari at: http://baritessler.com/ After reading Bari's book, I knew I just had to interview her. I know, maybe a little strange to have a financial therapist on a show about food and nutrition, but Bari's money practices actually have a lot in common with my nutrition practices. She also stresses the importance about connecting to your body when making a decision about money. Most prominently, this episode is about releasing shame around money. And again, I can't stress enough, like we all have money shame, we all carry food and body shame as well. Shame is shame is shame. No matter what you're struggling with right now, Bari offers some really great tips on how to release feelings of shame, and start taking productive action to heal your relationship with money, and ultimately, yourself. Her book really helped me see that I am not bad with money. Just like you can't be bad with food, your issues surrounding money are not your fault. And the solution doesn't involve sticking with an unrealistic and strict budget. Much of the solution involves shifting your mindset, and making gentle shifts in your money practices, and your future planning (sound familiar)? After you listen to the episode, if you're craving more information, I highly recommend reading Bari's book, The Art of Money. I've read it twice! Also, Bari will be launching her fifth round of her year-long course, also The Art of Money. Registration opens on January 17th and I WILL be enrolling! I am not an affiliate for the book or program, so I am recommending this because it's something I truly believe can be helpful if this is an area you struggle with! Welcome back my Clan of the Crave Bears! We have two great and interesting interviews for you today ,but first I want to make sure you know that we are having a picnic. That’s right! We are having our very first Crave Bear Picnic: August 14th in my hometown Portland, Oregon. So let’s have a picnic! On August 14th at Arbor Lodge Park in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. Come out 5 to 7pm pacific time. I would love to see you and meet you. Bring something to share, bring yourself, your family. I’m going to bring my family and it’s going to be super fun. This week we are starting something new on the Crave Cast. A lot of you, including me, have a spiritual bent. Many of us are curious about spirit, we pray, we meditate, we connect to the earth, we have our own version of connection with something bigger. So I decided to have my dear friend Monica Kenton on the show. I call Monica when I need a little spiritual re-tuning. I asked Monica if she would be part of an experiment and be our spiritual guide. Help us bring more spiritual energy into our lives whether its God, the Universe, Spirit or whatever you call it. Monica agreed to come on the show once a month to tell us her perspective and help guide us a little bit. She is a wonderful spiritual mentor and trained in several different modalities from ancient wisdom, modern day spiritual practices, trained as a shaman and she is very socially conscience. She really wants to help people make a life they love while making a difference to the planet. Monica is going to tell us what’s happening right now and what are the energies of August and what actions can we take from this spiritual guidance to really awesome results. Be sure to listen all the way through! After Monica, I am going to be interviewing Jamie Martin, the head editor at Experience Life Magazine. I was so honored to be on the cover of Experience Life Magazine a couple of months ago. I’m having her on the show to talk about as an experienced publisher what inspires her and what is she looking for next in terms of trends in this healthy living world. Today is one of the most exciting interviews I have ever had! I get to introduce to you, one of my coaches, biggest mentors and beautiful friend, Gabby Bernstein. Gabrielle Bernstein has been named “a new thought leader” by Oprah Winfrey. She appears regularly as an expert on The Dr. Oz show, and was named “a new role model” by the New York Times. Gabrielle is the New York Times best-selling author of the books May Cause Miracles and Miracles Now. Her other titles include Add More ~ing to Your Life and Spirit Junkie. In the fall of 2016 she will release her fifth book, The Universe Has Your Back which you can pre-order below under "Resources". Gabrielle, a “spiritual activist” recently teamed up with Deepak Chopra to co-host the Guinness Book of World Records largest group meditation. Youtube named Gabrielle one of 16 Youtube Next Video Bloggers, she was named one of Mashable’s 11 Must-Follow Twitter accounts for inspiration and she’s featured on the Forbes List of 20 Best Branded Women. She has been featured in media outlets such as ELLE, OWN, Kathy Lee & Hoda, The Today Show, Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday, The Queen Latifah Show, Anderson Live, Access Hollywood, Marie Claire, Health, SELF, Women’s Health, Glamour, Help Desk the cover of Experience Life Magazine and more! Starting out as an aspiring actress, Gabby knew something was off. The role of playing others and “faking” situations was just not in her DNA. “At the time I was a really bad actress. I wish I knew then, what I know now. All people want, is for you to be real.” Putting a quick halt to the idea of acting, Gabby brought her talents elsewhere. At the age of 21 she started her own business: Nightlife PR in New York City, representing high-end nightclubs and restaurants. On a fast-track to “no where” Gabby found it difficult to keep up with the insane hours and living up to the stereotypical NYC lifestyle. This too, was not for her. Becoming a work addict, a drug addict, a love addict and a food addict, Gabby had finally hit rock bottom. “I hit bottom which ultimately I believe is the best place to land because it is only up from there.” Reconnecting to her spiritual roots, at the young age of 25, Gabby became completely sober. In the midst of her sobriety, she also began to find her true self, her inner Spirit Junkie. From there, the rest is really history. Fast forwarding to today, Gabby is one of the most influential females in the transformational and spiritual world. She lives each day as if it were her last and takes great pride in teaching others to do the same. “I was meant to be a preacher. I identify as a preacher in stilettos. It is my art, it is my mission and the way I was meant to serve.” In This Episode You Will Learn About: How to own your message Freeing yourself from the stories in your head Finding your inner spirit junkie How to break down the blocks Facing your fears Becoming the CEO of your life Resources: May Cause Miracles by Gabrielle Bernstein Miracles Now by Gabrielle Bernstein Add More ing To Your Life by Gabrielle Bernstein Spirit Junkie by Gabrielle Bernstein The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein - COMING SOON, PRE ORDER NOW!
