www.commsolutionsmn.com- This last week, Ilhan Omar made a speech that was smilar to a Donald Trump speech... except that it was about Somalia. It called for a Somalia-first policy, including a secure Somalian border. If the Squad didn't have hypocrisy, it wouldn't have any political strategy at all. Never mind that she took an oath to put our country and our constitution before all others and to defend it against all enemies, she was elected to represent everyone in MNCD5,  not just one group within it. Of course no one else's interpretation of the Somali language was accurate and the local news media either ignored it or ran cover for her. The Democrats seem to be ok with it too, as any challengers have been soundly put down. Their own undemocratic primary process is designed to keep people out that the party doesn't want. We can't keep our own border secure, because there is no political will in the Executive Branch to do it. We've seen people on the terrorist watch list come across. We've seen all kinds of crime in our big cities. Much of it is done by American citizens, but enough is being done by people that have crossed the border illegally that we're hearing about it on a regular basis. Not to mention, the wide open border is exacerbating child trafficking, drug traffing, labor trafficking, and organ trafficking. The cartels seem to be able to do as they please and the Democratic Party policies seem to facilitate the conditions for these horrific crimes to flourish. You'd think that they would want to stop those things. What rights do states have to protect themselves from this onslaught? Do counties, cities, or school districts have a right to do the same if their governor won't do the right thing? Join the discussion below! Covid vaccine mandates have infiltrated every facet of our country and the military is no exception. A “forced” retired military hero, Dr. Pete Chambers is our guest today who became a proclaimed ‘whistleblower' by Senator Ron Johnson. Dr. Chambers was working as a physician and following military orders to provide informed consents for all vaccines administered to his patients, yet was ordered by his superiors to “disobey military orders” and stop giving informed consent to encourage increased vaccine compliance. Meanwhile, after seeing multiple rare medical events in normally healthy young service members he started to research the Defense Medical Epidemiological Database (DMED) and saw frightening changes. The government response to his report was……………. Well you will just have to listen to find out! WE were speechless.  What an honor to interview Dr. Pete Chambers, who took time from his jam packed schedule and current crusade to help resolve issues at the US/Mexico border. Oh ya…. And he made May cry! So now you will FOR SURE want to tune in to this episode! About Dr. Pete Chambers: LTC  (Ret.) Pete Chambers joined the army in 1983 and served for a career  spanning 39 years. After his first Honorable Discharge he had a break in  service to complete college and medical school at the University of New  England. He completed a primary care residency and worked as an  emergency room physician and was commissioned as a peace officer serving  his community as a SWAT team physician and sheriff's deputy. After the  United States was attacked on 9/11, he returned to the US Army Special  Forces.  He is a graduate of the Special Forces Qualification Course, earning the  Green Beret. He has multiple combat tours, deploying in the capacity of  Special Operations Flight Surgeon and Green Beret officer conducting  missions around the globe.  His  last two Stateside deployments in Texas were as a liaison to Governor  Gregg Abbott's TASK FORCE during the Texas COVID response (2020) and  most recently he deployed to the border of South Texas on Operation Lone  Star as a Task Force Surgeon. (2021). He retired from service at the  end of May, 2022 after he was pulled off orders when his command ordered  him to stop informed consents.  He refused an UNLAWFUL ORDER. He was  stripped of benefits and pay and forced into retirement.   He is a combat decorated and disabled veteran and awarded the Purple Heart, for wounds received in combat. Until recently he had remained off the media grid, until he was revealed by Senator Ron Johnson as a “whistleblower” exposing facts related to the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database. He then joined forces with other frontline doctors to provide fidelity on safety issues regarding both civilian and military aviation safety. He has a passion for these Americans and for safety regarding the vaccine, as he himself is currently undergoing medical treatment for a severe adverse reaction to the vaccine.  With regard to the COVID vaccine mandate in the military, he like countless others, trusted the DoD's vaccination policy to be safe and effective until March of 2021 when he noted numerous ominous signs and adverse reactions being reported.  He has testified as a fact witness in Liberty Counsel's SEALs v. DoD case and has served as a liaison to Truth for Health Foundation with Dr Lee Vliet. With his newfound freedom of movement and his already established lines of communications with legislators he has become an outlet for still serving service members, elucidating members of congress and media outlets on vaccine injuries within the military ranks.  Links! On another action-packed Monday edition of The Charlie Kirk Show, Charlie takes your questions for the 112th time in his weekly 'Ask Me Anything' hour. This episode runs the gamut—from a question about how Gregg Abbott is handling the Southern Border Invasion to Uruguayan Vaccines. Are Republican Governors starting to take this show's advice? And could a small but proud South American nation be David to the Goliath of our time—Big Pharma and their vaccine industrial complex, led by Pfizer? All of that plus an extensive rebuttal to a dangerously misguided, woke professor from Wheaton College who tried to attack Charlie for suggesting that the so-called "Separation of Church and State" is a core tenet of our republic. Charlie also tackles a question from a listener who emailed the show at Freedom@CharlieKirk.com about the marxist deterioration of American medicine, responding with a story out of the Oregon state government's medical board that would be truly hilarious if it weren't sadly true. American Gun Fetish: The Texas School Massacre

Dubious

Play Episode Listen Later May 28, 2022 91:20

We are discussing gun control and the Uvalde school shooting.Americans have a sick fascination with their guns, it's pathological, almost sexual. May 24 2022, Robb Elementary School, Uvalde Texas – 19 children slaughtered, two teachers gunned down as they tried to shield the students with their bodies. On this black day, yet another avoidable school mass shooting shocks the world. Yet another AR-15 rifle is used to massacre babies. The nation is in shock, but the republican politicians are still refusing to ban assault rifles and pass gun control laws. The gunman bought his two AR-15s and 375 rounds of ammo legally, the day after his 18th birthday. In the United States one cannot buy a beer if they're younger than 21, but buying an Armalite military weapon created for war is legal. If you like our content, please become a patron and get our extra premium episodes. Just as the funerals of the victims of the Buffalo mass shooting are starting, America is faced with another slaughter of innocents. 19 little bodies, so destroyed they had to be matched to their parents by DNA tests, some were unrecognizable. 4 victims are still alive, in critical condition at a San Antonio hospital. The police took more than 1 hour to neutralize the gunman, it appears they arrested a parent, tackled another, and pepper sprayed a third, as these people were trying to get in the school to save the children while police were outside, while the gunman was still shooting inside the school. An 11 year old girl had to cover herself in blood to appear dead, and she stayed still for 1 hour until the police got there. This year we've had more mass shootings in the US than days. We have more guns in the US than we have people. The American academy of pediatrics just said that the leading cause of death of American children and adolescents is no longer car accidents, it is FIREARMS. In the last 26 YEARS, since they banned semi-automatic rifles after the Port Arthur massacre, Australia had 20 people dying in mass shootings. We have 19 children and 2 teachers in one day, on May 24. This comes right after the Buffalo racist shooting on May 14, where 10 people were gunned down in a supermarket. So we have 31 fatalities in 10 days. AMERICA, WE HAVE MORE PEOPLE GUNNED DOWN IN 10 DAYS THAN AUSTRALIA HAS IN 26 YEARS. An AR-15 was used in all these gun massacres: Uvalde: AR-15 Buffalo: AR-15 Boulder: AR-15 Orlando: AR-15 Parkland: AR-15 Las Vegas: AR-15 Aurora, CO: AR-15 Sandy Hook: AR-15 Waffle House: AR-15 San Bernardino: AR-15 Midland/Odessa: AR-15 Poway synagogue: AR-15 Sutherland Springs: AR-15 Tree of Life Synagogue: AR-15 We explain why arming teachers is insanity, why metal detectors and transforming our schools in prisons won't work, and why the only solution is a ban on assault guns, on all semi automatic guns and common sense gun laws, strict gun control, and universal background checks. Also other measures like red flag laws too, but no: this is not about evil and mental illness, all countries have that: what they don't have is guns. And therefore, mass shootings. Texas Governor Gregg Abbott, senator Ted Cruz and the mayor of Uvalde Don McLaughlin yelled at Beto O'Rourke when he interrupted their shameful press conference in which they were blaming the “evil”, not the guns. Beto was escorted out by Uvalde police officers. Texas chose Cruz over Beto in the senate race in 2018. Now Texas has a chance to replace Abbott with Beto in the gubernatorial race. Just 2 hours after the massacre, TX governor Gregg Abbott attended a fundraising event: he was counting money while the Uvalde parents were counting bodies. The NRA convention in Houston just days after the tragedy in Uvalde was not cancelled, with Cruz and Trump still attending, while Abbott decided to make a video appearance only.

Texas-based Vantage Bank announced plans to offer employees a savings plan where a portion of each paycheck can be saved in Bitcoin. Commenting on this new program, Vantage Bank's chief of human resources Eric Thompson said: “During this ‘Great Resignation,' attracting and retaining top talent has been especially challenging. Focusing on our employees and the benefits we offer help make Vantage Bank Texas an employer of choice for current and potential employees.” Any Vantage employee who wants to step away from traditional savings will be able to participate in the new Bitcoin savings plan. The New York Digital Investment Group (NYDIG), which is offering asset management, custody, and execution services for digital assets, will hold the converted Bitcoin. In addition to the new savings plan, Vantage Bank is also educating its employees about cryptocurrency. Referring to the necessity of training, Thompson said: “As part of that [the savings plan], we are also providing associates with education about Bitcoin, sharing the risks and considerations that should be evaluated before directing their post-tax dollars to a Bitcoin Savings Plan.” Despite the modern approach to diversifying its employee's savings plans, Vantage Banks does not facilitate buying, selling, or trading of crypto for its customers for now. Crypto adoption in Texas According to Thompson, the Bitcoin Savings Plan was a suggestion from one of the lender partners that had already started to apply it. In addition, the state has also been taking bold steps to increase crypto adoption. For example, in May 2022, the Governor of Texas, Gregg Abbott, signed a law that made it easier for businesses to use crypto as collateral for loans. Abbott also created the Work Group on Blockchain Matters, where industry leaders collaborate to lure crypto investors, developers, and miners to Texas. Recently, the Texas Blockchain Council wrote a draft bill to eliminate taxes on flared gas sales used to mine Bitcoins.

Special Guest: Derek Ruvalcaba (Hospital Staff, United Regional, Wichita Falls)   Topic: COVID-19 Mandates.    In response to Gov. Gregg Abbott's Executive Order BANNING Vaccine Mandates by any entity in the state of Texas, United Regional Hospital CEO Phyllis Cowling wrote to the staff to say that "our vaccine requirements ... were designed to comply with existing state and federal laws. We will be working closely with the legal counsel, The Texas Hospital Association (THA), and others to evaluate the Executive Order (as well as any subsequent legislation) ..."    This certainly sounds as if the UR team of lawyers will be looking for loopholes in the Executive Orders and/or possible legislation in order to continue the mandates.    Addressing this issue is Derek Ruvalcaba, who is an "in studio" guest on the show. Derek has some great insights, as well as suggestions, pertaining to the mandates, the health and safety of the hospital staff, as well as the exemption requests being made by numerous individuals connected with the hospital.    Sadly, over 140 trained staff members have already LEFT United Regional over this mandate; the morale of the hospital staff is sagging, and healthcare workers themselves declare that they should have control over their own healthcare as well.  - -  American Liberty with Bill Lockwood is about the culture of America — not simply about politics. IT'S MOURNING AGAIN IN AMERICAIt's mourning again in America as the Covid-19 Pandemic takes it's toll on America and refrigeration trucks are deployed all across the country as people die unnecessarily from the virus and morgues are overwhelmed. Welcome to the effects of Republican madness and The Halli Casser-Jayne Show and that's just where we begin this week when joining Halli at her table to discuss the latest political news is her partner in politics former White House correspondent and Newsweek and Time alum, Matthew Cooper. We mourn. We mourn those who have lost their lives to Covid-19 unnecessarily when a simple jab in the arm might have saved their lives. We mourn the loss of Texas women's right to choose what happens to their bodies as the Supreme Court eviscerates by a shadow vote Roe v. Wade. We mourn for the lives lost twenty years ago, the 2,750 people who were killed in New York, 184 at the Pentagon, and 40 in Pennsylvania when America was attacked by terrorists. But we also celebrate. There is a vaccine to thwart a ruthless virus. American women are strong and will stand up and fight for their rights, and there are a lot of men who will stand up with them. The terrorists hit us hard, but we fought back and though America has lots of demons to fight right here at home, we are still here. It's mourning again in America. But we will survive Covid-19, reckless, cynical governors like Ron DeSantis and Gregg Abbott, a Supreme Court that has turned itself into a lowly Night Court. Welcome to Majority.FM's AM QUICKIE! Brought to you by justcoffee.coop TODAY'S HEADLINES: The Biden administration released the Trump administration’s secret set of rules for carrying out drone strikes, prompting new calls for him to end targeted killings once and for all. Meanwhile, police departments across the country are struggling to get their cops to take the coronavirus vaccine, despite plentiful access. And finally, Austin voters brought back the city’s controversial public tent law, which effectively criminalized homelessness and would further destabilize the lives of many unhoused people. THESE ARE THE STORIES YOU NEED TO KNOW: The Biden administration released a set of confidential rules used by the Trump administration to authorize drone strikes, after the ACLU and New York Times filed suit to uncover the documents. Biden suspended Trump’s rules when it came into power, and began a widespread review of the government’s use of force policies in March. But it has not, of course, ended the general U.S. policy of killing whoever it wants with drone strikes. The documents show that under Trump, individual military commanders were given a broad latitude to authorize strikes, with plenty of wiggle room when it came to skirting guidelines meant to prevent civilians from being harmed. The Biden white house’s review found that Trump’s rules were even more lenient when commanders were certain women and children wouldn’t be injured, even if adult male civilians were nearby. Under Biden, strikes require direct White House approval. But approval or not, that still means that they happen. Vaccine The Only Shot Cops Won't Take America’s police officers were some of the very first people to become eligible for the Coronavirus vaccine, and yet guess what? They’re simply not getting it. The Washington Post reports that in many police departments across the nation, the vaccination rate is on par or even lower than the general public, despite easy access to the jab. For example, in Las Vegas, only 39 percent of cops are vaxxed. In Atlanta, it’s 36 percent. In Columbus, Ohio, it’s only 28. These are big departments! Police unions, meanwhile, are strongly against making the vaccination mandatory for their cops, repeating the “personal decision” line that we’re hearing all over. The Post reports that most cops are avoiding the vaccine for the same reasons the general public is struggling with: skepticism, paranoia, and the belief that since many of them had the disease already, they’re not going to catch it again. As the Post points out, this is a massive risk not only to the health of the cops, but to the health of every community member they interact with. Since they’re refusing to get the jab, they’re putting every person they speak with at a traffic stop or routine interaction at even more risk than they were before. Austin Criminalizes Homelessness Austin voters approved restoring the city’s controversial public camping ban, a brutal law that effectively criminalized homelessness in the city. The law specifically prohibits camping near downtown and UT Austin, areas where many unhoused people live. It also makes it a crime to ask for money or panhandle in certain areas. Austin had similar bans in effect till 2019, when the City Council overturned them, correctly realizing that they were just contributing to overpolicing of already vulnerable groups of people. Forcing homeless people off the streets and into jail for the crime of trying to find a place to sleep isn’t going to end the problem, just make people in a desperate situation that much worse off. Still, the public campaign to reinstate the bans was immensely successful, as the city passed the proposition by around 58 to 42 percent. They had pretty significant support from above, as Texas’s notorious GOP governor Gregg Abbott told the city that if it didn’t reinstate the bans, the state would do it for them. The PAC organized around the bill also raked in $1.2 million. Activists at the Ending Community Homelessness Coalition and other groups fought the bill to the end, noting that it would disproportionately affect black and brown people and force even more of them into the jail and prison system. The bans will go back in place on May 11, which will surely be a hard day for many people in the city. AND NOW FOR SOME QUICKER QUICKIES: Crowds of Trump supporters booed and heckled Mitt Romney during his speech at the Utah State Republican Convention on Saturday, which should dispel any notion that Romney will have much luck in any future national GOP primary. Speaking of embarrassing public appearances, former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn apparently forgot the words to the pledge of allegiance while at a Bikers for Trump rally organized by crook lawyer Lin Wood. Sad! If there was any question as to where Mitch McConnell’s priorities are, Biden’s big infrastructure plan would almost certainly give the Republican Majority Leader the money to fix a massive, vitally important bridge in his home state. But despite trying to find a fix for it for years, McConnell’s partisanship will always come before his constituents, and he’s resolutely against the bill. Will Biden close Guantanamo Bay? Boy. I dunno. In an interview with 60 Minutes on Sunday, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said this noncommittal quote: We believe that it should be, that's certainly a goal, but it's something that we'll bring some focus to in the months ahead.” endquote. Whatever that means! MAY 3, 2021 - AM QUICKIE HOSTS - Sam Seder & Lucie Steiner WRITER - Jack Crosbie PRODUCER - Dorsey Shaw EXECUTIVE PRODUCER - Brendan Finn

We loved (again) another suspense novel from Mindy! It was suspenseful, sexy and a great story (set in Mpls!). Left guessing until the end! Summary courtesy of Goodreads: “From the critically acclaimed author of Leave No Trace, the “nail-biting page-turner that grabs you early and never lets go” (The Real Book Spy), comes a visceral thriller where a high stakes crime triggers a woman’s complicated and potentially deadly search for the truth. Nora Trier catches thieves. As a forensic accountant and partner in her downtown Minneapolis firm, she’s unearthed millions in every corner of the world. She prides herself on her independence, the most essential currency of accounting, until her firm is hired by Strike. An anti-corporate, feminist athletic empire, Strike is owned by Logan Russo, a brash and legendary kickboxer, and her marketing genius husband, Gregg Abbott. They’re about to host a major kickboxing tournament with twenty million dollars in prize money, and the chance for the champion to become the new face of the company. Gregg suspects his wife already has a new face in mind—a young trainer named Aaden, for whom Logan feels an unexpected connection. Days before the tournament begins, it’s discovered that the prize money is missing. Gregg hires Nora’s firm to find both the thief and the money but Nora has a secret connection to Strike that threatens her independence. Her partner pressures her into taking the case anyway, hinting he has information about Strike that could change the course of the investigation in a shocking and deadly way.”
