EP-098 Extremism or Opposition MVE - Militia Violent Extremism: This term seems official, and it seems concerning. But it's the focus of the definitions that are concerning, and what or who is left out. The document itself points to many instances of soft language implying it is a thrown-together hodgepodge of credible concerns of note and political opposition to the current administration. That's a tough one to swallow considering what we have seen our government perform in our name in the past, and how the current administration continues to perverse government action with political perspectives. Let's dive in and take a look at the leaked FBI documents defining MVE, and where we are as citizens asserting our rights. Project Veritas published the leaked documents. Page 1: FBI - Domestic Terrorism Symbolism Guide - Militia Violent Extremism These pages and content are considered “Unclassified” and or “Law Enforcement Sensitive” The following symbols are used by Ani-Government or Anti-Authority Violent Extremists, specifically Militia Violent Extremists (MVE). MVE symbols are often found on propaganda, online platforms, memes, merchandise, group logos, flags, tattoos, uniforms, etc. Widespread use of symbols and quotes from American history, especially the Revolutionary war, exists within MVE networks. Historic and contemporary military themes are common for MVE symbols. The use or sharing of these symbols alone should not independently be considered evidence of MVE presence or affiliation or serve as an indicator of illegal activity, as many individuals use these symbols for their original, historic meaning, or other non-violent purposes. Unclassified Symbols: Boogaloo: Alludes to the film Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo, used by some MVEs to refer to violent uprising or impending second Civil War. Common imagery incorporates igloo and/or Hawaiian shirts/flowers. Anarcho-Capitalism [ancap]: An ideology held by some MVEs advocating the State be eliminated or minimized and that public services be provided by private companies competing in a free market. Represented by a black and yellow flag. Punisher Skull: Several variations of skulls, used by III%ers and Molon Labe etc. Warrior Culture: Military themes both historical and contemporary (Spartans Valhalla). 2A: MVEs justify their existence with the Second Amendment, due to the mention of a “well regulated Militia” as well as the right to bear arms. MolonLabe: Greek phrase translates as “come and take it” or “come and take them”. Electrical Resistance Symbol: A way to identify as a resistor. Black Flag: The black and white or all black American flag is used by some to indicate “no quarter shall be given.” Unclassified For Official Use Only Common Referenced Historical Imagery or Quotes: Gadsden Flag: Historical American symbol representing gun rights and limited government. Liberty Tree: The Liberty Tree was a famous elm tree in Boston near Boston Common. In 1765, colonists in Boston staged the first act of defiance against the British government at the tree. Revolutionary War Imagery: An example of a militiaman during the Revolutionary War. Betsy Ross Flag: Revolutionary War imagery harkening back to the 15 colonies and calls for revolution. Yesterday, the Aussie share market started the new trading week in the red, dipping 0.5% lower to 7,206 points.The majority of the industry sectors posted losses, with the tech sector the biggest drag, falling 1.6%. While the energy sector posted a decent gain after Saudi Arabia raised oil prices substantially. Looking at the best and worst performers, gambling company, Tabcorp (ASX:TAH) advanced the most, after the state of Queensland announced tax reforms that are expected to boost revenues. Graincorp (ASX:GNC) also performed well, following the release of a positive broker note out of Macquarie. Its analysts retained their outperform rating and $11.10 price target. Meanwhile, the worst performer yesterday was Magellan Financial Group (ASX:MFG). MFG's share price tumbled nearly 14% after its funds under management fell 5.2% to $65 billion in May. The most traded stocks by Bell Direct clients yesterday were Lake Resources (ASX:LKE), Whitehaven Coal (ASX:WHC) and Fortescue Metals (ASX:FMG). Moving to the US, all three benchmarks managed to close higher, with the Nasdaq advancing the most, up 0.4%. It was a choppy day of trade, with the market navigating a jump in Treasury yields.What to watch today:Our local market is set to fall slightly this morning if you go by the SPI futures. The futures are suggesting a small drop of 0.07% at the open.In economic news, the RBA, Australia's central bank is all but certain to lift interest rates for the second month in the row. The cash rate currently sits at 35 basis points, with economists expecting a hike of 40 to 50 basis points. While Governor Phillip Lowe has previously voiced support for more conventional 25 basis point increases. So, keep watch today at 2:30pm AEST. Moving to commodities, the oil price topped US$120 a barrel as Saudi Arabia raised its July crude prices. The gold price dipped on a stronger dollar and Treasury yields. The seaborne iron ore price is trading 0.6% higher at US$145 a tonne. Lastly, if you hold Perpetual Credit Income Trust (ASX:PCI), you will receive your dividend today. Trading Ideas:Citi have maintained its Buy rating on cloud tech company, Megaport (ASX:MP1), however have reduced its price target from $16.60 to $12.30, to reflect higher cost of capital and earnings downgrades. While the reduction in Megaport Virtual Edge (MVE) pricing could suggest softer demand, Citi sees the new bandwidth options as positive as high IP transit costs were a barrier for MVE adoption in Australia and New Zealand. At its current share price of $6.30, this implies 95% share price growth in a year.Trading Central has a bearish signal on Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST) indicating that the stock price may fall from the close of $8.58 to the range of $5.10 - $5.80 in the next 152 days according to standard principals of technical analysis.

Mamilândia, mais uma vez, como diriam Daniela Mercury e Caetano Veloso, tá proibido o carnaval nesse país tropical. Quer dizer... enquanto uma parte da festa, a da rua, do povo, popular, sem catracas nem bilhetes, está suspensa nos cantos em que ela é mais tradicional, uma outra ainda consegue autorização para acontecer em locais fechados, com ingressos pagos e controle de entrada. Mas isso, a gente jura, é papo pra uma outra conversa, que não é a de hoje. Não é porque não tem abre-alas desfilando na Avenida que nós não podemos ter, pelo menos, um gostinho do carnaval que queremos, conhecemos e merecemos. In meinen Seminaren erlebe ich oft Teilnehmer. Sie beklagen sich über andauerten Stress. Das Unternehmen möchte weiterwachsen, zudem wird der Druck auch immer größer. Doch Druck, egal ob selbstgemachter oder beispielsweise von der Führungskraft, sorgt schnell für schlechte Verhaltensweisen. Und diese bilden oft die Einleitung in eine Abwärtsspirale, negative Stimmung und natürlich steigt auch der Stressfaktor. In dieser Folge habe ich 5 Tipps, die ich mit Dir teilen möchte, wie auch Du mit schwierigen Situationen umgehen kannst. Suche das Gespräch mit deiner Führungskraft Oft denkt man vor einem solchen Gespräch, dass er oder sie kein Verständnis hat. Die Praxis ist jedoch aus meiner Erfahrung erfreulicherweise oft anders. Wenn Du aus deiner Sicht der Meinung bist, dass Du Punkte hast, die deine Arbeit hindern und dir es damit nicht gut geht, dann such das Gespräch mit der FK. Gute FK erkennen, dass es ihren MA nicht gut geht und suchen aktiv das Gespräch. Voraussetzung für so ein Gespräch – gute beziehungsebene, zwischen Dir und deinem Chef. Wenn die Beziehungsebenen nicht stimmen, dann endet das meistens in einem Konflikt. Konflikt kann sehr wertvoll sein, nur nicht jetzt bei diesem Thema. Stoppe deine negativen Gedanken Positive Gedanken erzeugen positive Gefühle, negative Gedanken erzeugen negative Gefühle. Hör auf indem Du dich selbst beispielsweise mit der Frage „Warum?“ anzuklagen. Warum passieret mir das oder warum gerade ich, hör damit auf. Trainiere dich darin, positive Gedanken zu erzeugen und sie zu fühlen – hat sehr viel mit Glaubenssätzen zu tun. Überprüfe, wie groß deine Leidenschaft für dein Angebot ist Stehst Du zu 100 % zu dem was Du verkauft, oder nicht? wenn du nicht von deinem Produkt oder Dienstleistung überzeugt bist, wie bitte schön, möchtest Du überzeugen? was möchtest du ausstrahlen? Was tut Dir gut? Einige vergessen bei allem Stress um sich herum und Umsicht für andere, auch gut zu sich selbst zu sein. Wann hast du dich das letzte mal gelobt, ja du hast richtig gehört, dich, was bitte schön ist wichtiger als du ? hmm, nichts, ist wichtiger als Du! Lobe Dich für kleine Erfolge und mache das, was Dir Spaß macht, ich meditiere oder spiele Tennis zum Bsp. Was tut dir gut? Perspektive ändern Fange damit an, deine gesamte Organisation wohlwollend zu hinterfragen und die Welt des anderen ein Stück weit verstehen. Du kannst nur spiele als Mannschaft gewinnen, nicht alleine, hinterfragen dich mal, nur mal angenommen, ich wäre jetzt der oder die andere, was würdest du n dieser Situation denken und wie würdest du handeln, manchmal hilft es, wenn man versucht die Welt des anderen, mit deren Augen zu sehen, also Emphathiefähigkeiten. Mein Fazit Stress und Druck sind oftmals Gefühle, die viele gerne möglichst schnell wieder loswerden möchten. Mit einem gewissen Training kannst du das auch! Bestandskundenpflege ist deutlich einfacher als Neukunden Akquise, dennoch schaffen es viele Unternehmen nicht, Ihre Kunden nachhaltig zu begeistern. Was kannst Du tun, damit dein Kunde, auch in den nächsten Wochen – Monate ja auch Jahre eine begeisternde Kunde von Dir – dein Produkt oder Dienstleistung ist. Wenn wir uns die big player anschauen wir z.B. Apple hat es geschafft, Käufer zu Fans zu machen! Entweder man liebt in der Regel das iPhone oder eben nicht. Das hat mit Emotionen zu tun. Denn mal ehrlich rein rational betrachtet, gibt es genug Gründe, die gegen das iPhone von Apple sprechen, oder NICHT? Und natürlich auch für andere Produkte aus dem Hause Apple. Thema Emotionen, dein Kunden kauft Gefühle, kein Produkt oder Dienstleistung 1. Kundenbegeisterung Der Begriff Kundenbegeisterung darf nicht mit Kundenzufriedenheit gleichgesetzt werden. Ja Du hast richtig gehört. Kundenzufriedenheit bedeutet lediglich, dass der Kunde die Leistung, die er erwartet auch bekommt. Kundenbegeisterung hingegen bedeutet, dass die Erwartung sogar übertroffen wird. Bsp. Kino film oder Restaurant besuch Also begeistere Deine Kunden!! 2. Kundenservice mit Herz Um den Kunden glücklich zu machen, muss er sich verstanden, akzeptiert und umsorgt fühlen. Einfach ausgedrückt er möchte Aufmerksamkeit bekommen. Mit einem guten Kundenservice kannst Du dieses Gefühl dem Kunden wunderbar vermitteln. Meistens reichen Kleinigkeiten aus, die den Service effektiv verbessern. Das können freundliche Gesten, wie ein Lächeln sein oder kleine Aufmerksamkeit, also Geschenke sein, womit dein Kunde nicht rechnet. Wichtig dabei sind Authentizität und Verständnis für das Anliegen des Kunden. 3. Datenqualität für ein besseres Kundenverständnis Gute Datenpflege bilden die Grundlage für ein tieferes Kundenverständnis. Gerade im B2B Bereich werden hier häufig noch Potenziale verschenkt. Dabei können Informationen zu Unternehmensgröße, Umsatz, Person, oder Absatzmarkt wertvolle Hinweise auf die spezifischen Bedürfnisse eines Kunden geben. Auch und gerade im Kundenservice sind saubere Daten Gold wert. Stell Dir vor Du rufst bei xy an, man begrüßt dich sofort mit Namen und der Ap weiß sofort Bescheid über den letzten Kontakt zwischen Dir und der Firma. Das gibt Dir ein gutes Gefühl. 4. DER KUNDE SIEHT ALLES “Versprich nichts, was du nicht halten kannst!” Das gilt im wahren Leben ebenso wie im Marketing und Verkauf. Etwas zu versprechen, das du letztendlich nicht liefern kannst, hinterlässt enttäuschte Kunden und lässt deine Firma unglaubwürdig erscheinen. Deshalb: Preise nur etwas an, von dem du auch weißt, dass du es liefern kannst. Das Vertrauen muss stets ehrlich erworben werden, und Dauer in der Regel lange, nur es kann von weinigen Aktionen auch von heute auf morgen nicht mehr da sein, also immer authentisch und ehrlich sein. 5. Exklusivität Wir wollen dazugehören und sind soziale Wesen, schenke hier Aufmerksamkeit, wie z.B. Geburtstagskarte – Video – Danke s karte wie z.B. 5-jährige Geschäftsbeziehung Kuschelcall einfach mal anrufen und den Kunden fragen, wie es Ihn geht und wie er die Produkte oder Dienstleistung einsetzt Just do ist – viele Unternehmen machen das gar nicht, weil Sie das für Überflüssig halten. Das kann dein Vorteil sein, anders sein als andere ist hier angesagt. 6. Sei eine Marke Geschäfte werden immer zwischen 2 Menschen gemacht, sei authentisch, höre genau zu, was dein Kunde von Dir möchte. In this podcast we are joined by Kevin Leuthardt who wrote an interesting article on this subject earlier this year where he analyses the use of governance from a business network layer, protocol layer and data layer for scaling blockchain consortia. Kevin Leuthardt is the cofounder of KSquared which works with start-ups across industries and technologies. He is a tax lawyer and is involved in the European Blockchain Association within the Governance Working Group. What is blockchain? Kevin sees blockchain as a foundational technology. From a technical standpoint it’s a shared synchronised data ledger which is encrypted and comes with the potential of disintermediation, automation and providing a single source of truth. Automation comes through the use of smart contracts. What Kevin finds the most exciting about blockchain is that it brings about the so called competition paradox where competitors can work together to unlock new opportunities. The article - Successful scaling of blockchain consortia through governance On the 16thof January, Kevin wrote an article entitled “Successful scaling of blockchain consortia through governance”. Whilst working on a project around withholding tax refund on a DLT project, Kevin realised the importance governance had in the successful deployment of a blockchain consortium or an enterprise blockchain project. What is governance? Governance is a term which encompasses organisational, legal and economic reflections or considerations. Governance within a business network like enterprise blockchain is a set of rules, values and a set of incentives by which participants agree to operate within an ecosystem. If is a rulebook which is here to manage key situations or events: Such as what to do in certain key situations such as the need to tweak a protocol. How to avoid a hard fork? Who owns the IP? The ultimate goal of governance, within the competition paradox, is to enable and facilitate transparency and continuity of the network. How to assess the governance of a blockchain consortia? If you think about what’s actually a blockchain consortia, it’s essentially a set of companies which agree to collaborate in order to advance the state of blockchain. Within an industry it’s about establishing industry standards, use cases or build real commercial applications as is the case with B3i. In order to analyse the governance of a blockchain consortia it requires to run an assessment of the anatomy of the distributed ledger application. Michel Rauchs, at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at Cambridge University, has published a conceptual framework on distributed ledger technology systems. It splits the anatomy of blockchain applications into three layers: Protocol layer - everything about the blockchain stack Network layer – details of the business network such as who can access the network, who can submit transactions and who validates the transactions Data layer – what happens on chain and what happens off chain, where does the application take data from, what Oracles to sue and also aspects of cybersecurity Minimum viable ecosystem (MVE) A minimum viable ecosystem (MVE) is the smallest configuration of participants which needs to be brought together to create a unique commercial value to validate a certain assumption. This isn’t about achieving big scale. It’s about having the minimum number of participants to really test out the coopetition paradox and the proof of concept of a blockchain education. In general in an MVE you don’t have strict legal structures more of a memorandum of understanding in terms of who brings what to the table, agreed costs and the vendor involved for running the MVE. A good example of this is how B3i started off in the early days as a loose coalition of reinsurers before it became a registered company in Switzerland in 2018. One random fateful night at a mostly music open mic, my buddy Eric Hula was celebrating his birthday at the Rebel Lounge. I get up, do my standup set, and was followed by a gentleman named Jared. He was super talented, and sang an acapella version of one of his songs and was incredible. What happened next is still a mystery to me. This tiny little blonde girl get's on stage, and her acoustic guitar is certainly more than half of her size. She starts playing the first note and I am immediately intrigued. BUT THEN SHE OPENED HER MOUTH and the whole fucking world stopped. MVE's voice is so utterly captivating, and I was in such disbelief as to what I was hearing. I had never met Mae before this, and was too scared to approach her in person, as I am an introvert to a fault.
