An idea - whether it's a business, a book, or a brand isn't just an object. It's a living dynamic organism that has come to us, and us alone, for a reason. This beautiful thing chose us to flow through and co-create with us, and that's a vision that needs no one's approval to bloom.   It's a completely different way of doing business, yes, but it is a more sustainable approach.   Resonance is two energy waves coming together - a Source-given match between creator and creation. That's why the most resonant businesses come from within. Our body's wisdom will always tell us what's resonant and what's dissonant. We need to have courage to honor whatever's happening inside our body, regardless of what the external thinks.   It's a powerful practice, not just for being, playing and loving, but also for creating things that never stop regenerating. For Suzy Batiz, this model was a huge aspect behind Poo~Pourri. How did this idea come to her? How did she overcome the need for approval? How do we take this lesson from her and learn to trust our body's wisdom (and actually listen to it)?   In this episode, we're delighted to be joined by Suzy. She shares the journey she's taken, and why resonance should always be an ingredient in our creative process.   Having the courage to honor whatever's happening inside your body regardless of what the external thinks about it. That's the practice. -Suzy Batiz   Three Things You'll Learn In This Episode    -The idea has its own desires  When built on resonance, the essence of our creation naturally amplifies out. What's the danger in taking an outside-in approach?   -Warning: logic can be faulty Our brains are powerful creation machines but why is the body more reliable?   -Mind the override  What happens when we ignore the resonant voice inside us in favor of making everyone else comfortable?   Guest Bio    Suzy Batiz is an entrepreneur and the founder of Poo~Pourri. She has been featured by leading publications including Forbes, CNBC, Fast Company and Entrepreneur. She has been named one of Forbes' Richest Self-Made Women in America (2019), EY's Entrepreneur of the Year (2017), Conscious Company's World Changing Women (2019), EarthX's Community Leader of the Year (2019) and is WBENC (Women Owned) certified business owner. From primary school to university, nobody really teaches us how to think. We're taught what to think. We don't take into account that during the 0-7 age period we are all in the developmental stage called the imprint period. During that time we have no ability to filter anything that comes through our consciousness. So, anything that comes through our 5 senses is all internalized because we cannot filter them and we have no control over what is there in our subconscious thoughts." - Scott Jackson Listen To Episode 481 As Scott Jackson Uncovers: [1:30] Neurolinguistic Programming: The User Manual for the Mind Scott Jackson Join me live at the $REWIRE event in Austin, Texas | October 27–30 2022 NLP Freedom Mandorla Ranch Instagram - Mandorla Ranch Scott's personal life journey and wellness transformation over the last 20 years. Scott's definition of wellness and how he lives life well. Power Quotes From The Show The Ultimate Generational Cycle Breaker "What if we believed that healing could be fast? That healing could be easy? Guess what? Healing actually really is that simple. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. I've literally had people come to me and share that neurolinguistic programming has been a generational cycle breaker." - Scott Jackson Let Go of Old Beliefs "With the neurolinguistic programming technique, what we look at is structure, not content. So, if I believe that I'm not good enough or that I'm not worthy and that's an unconscious belief that is still held linguistically, that is also still held neurologically as well. If we can break the structure of neurology, then the belief can no longer exist within us." - Scott Jackson What it Takes to Have Freedom "Do you want to live from a place of trauma and suffer for your whole life or would you rather have freedom? That doesn't mean freedom doesn't evolve some kind of suffering to get there because it can and being free of things can be painful. Breaking patterns can be painful. The price of going through whatever you have to go through to achieve freedom has to be greater, more motivational, and more desirable than the continued suffering of maintaining my pain." - Scott Jackson Links From Today's Show  About Scott Jackson REWIRE Austin, TX October 27-30th 2022 NLP Freedom Mandorla Ranch Instagram - Mandorla Ranch The Structure of Magic, Vol. 1: A Book About Language and Therapy by Richard Bandler and John Grinder Morris Massey 435 Dr. John Gray | Wellness In Relationships: Testosterone, Estrogen, Semen Retention & Sexual Polarity David R. I grew up moving around a great deal, but mostly in Perth, Western Australia. I speak five languages, mostly from all that moving around, and love talking about linguistics (unfortunately few others do). Went to college and law school in New York City, where I started working as a journalist while in law school, then went to Afghanistan as a war correspondent before starting work with the state department as an anti-human trafficking attorney. Spent five years in that field before starting Lightning Fruit, because I believed I couldn't change the world the way I wanted to without the power & influence that running my own business could give me. Lightning Fruit is a mission-driven agency because that's who I am, but it's a for-profit business because I believe social change requires being part of the economic system, and because I want to use that profit for even bigger things. Outside of work, I love reading sci-fi/fantasy, rock climbing (especially trad), snowboarding (especially backcountry), generally being in the wilderness, and me & my partner's extremely cute mutt Seneca.https://lightningfruit.com

Constant feedback and appreciation to inform each person what they did right will help them grow into better people. We are either leaving people better or worse, never neutral. We knew going into it, that this show was going to be impactful, and it was exactly that. Both Brad and Michelle have amazing backgrounds that have led them to where they are today. When you listen to the podcast, be ready to pull out a map to track Brad's amazing background and upbringing, and then you'll be astonished to hear the longevity and growth that Michelle has had with Televerde. These two have the passion for supporting the growth of purpose driven companies in two areas that overlap through the entire conversation. The topics of mental health programs and supporting the growth opportunities for incarcerated women were the strong threads through the conversation. While talking about growing a purpose driven business it is important to also mention the importance of profit at that level as well. People, purpose, and profit can all thrive and grow at the same strong level. This is a principle that both Michelle and Kindra are familiar with through their work and alignment with Conscious Capitalism. This podcast is a great one for leaders to listen to. It is important to hear and understand the need for mental health programs to support employees. This is not a new topic but a topic that companies are not familiar with talking about, and they need to get over it. When it comes to the topic of diversity and inclusion, then the conversation of hiring previously incarcerated men and women in the workplace should be part of the conversation or companies are not truly hiring in a fully inclusive manner. This conversation was deep, honest, passionate, eye opening, and important to share. Especially in parts of Southeast Asia where as much as 90% of adults suffer some level of lactose intolerance. How can innovative businesses use advancing technology to increase production, quality and profit, and how will that impact the lives of their customers, especially children? To answer these questions, I speak to Pak Warren Choo head of Kindairy, for his insights.
