Just like farmers in Wisconsin, Australian agriculturists have had to change their game plan often to stay financially viable. Bob Bosold talks with auctioneer/farmer/land broker, Daniel McCulloch, about how farms have pivoted to beef production and thoughtful selection of genetics. He also paints the picture of Australian land values that farms must manage.Severe weather is likely on the way for Wisconsin Monday and Tuesday. That's the outlook from Stu Muck. The relationship farms have with their lender has always been critical. Now with more generations involved in those conversations, it's important that bankers do more listening then talking. Charitee Seebecker hears about that strategy from Jack Kasel of the Anthony Cole Training Group.China’s effective duty rate on U.S. pork and pork variety meat has reached 172%, while U.S. beef and beef variety meat are tariffed at 147%. That essentially shut the door on U.S. meat sales there. John Herath with the U.S. Meat Export Federation explains what's at risk if things don't change. The NFL draft in Green Bay has concluded but not before Wisconsin agriculture had a chance at center stage. Pam Jahnke talks with cheese carving artist, Vicky Janisch, about her work headlining the NFL's "Taste of the Draft" before the big show. Janisch was charged with carving the Lombardi trophy out of a hunk of cheddar from Hooks Cheese in Mineral Point. Janisch's work was on display during the event hosted by GenYouth, a nonprofit created by America's dairy farmers and the NFL to shed light on food insecurity.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Protect the Harvest is an organization that's been around since 2011, but in 2024 they're refreshing their logo and their name to try and help policy makers and consumers better understand what they do. Bob Bosold talks with Dr. Mike Siemens, now executive director of A Free and Fed America.Saturday marked the beginning of China's Lunar New Year celebration - and Wisconsin's got a stake in how they celebrate. Charitee Seebecker explains that real Wisconsin ginseng is a prized gift presented during New Year celebrations. She also points out ginseng's use in China's culture in everything from food to medicinal applications. She speaks with Jackie Fett, executive director of Wisconsin Ginseng. Recognizing student athletes across Wisconsin is where Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin is focused these days. Vicki Janisch with DFW explains to Pam Jahnke how overwhelmed they were with student athlete nominations last year. They've expanded the program this year to recognize a male and female athlete every month through the entire year.

Legtöbbször a színészekkel foglalkozik a forgatásokon, testközelből látta, milyen feszült volt Jude Law, amikor a fürdőruhás Zimány Lindával kellett forgatnia a Balaton közepén, miután a pesti éjszakában részegen összecsókolózott a magyar modellel.
In which we break down the faces and heels dynamic with our friend, Frank Janisch, of the Schmoedown Rundown and Schmoedown Stats, discuss the incredible dominance of Rachel Cushing, decide what's next for the MISSfits, and accidentally put Kalinowski at the top of the FBI's Most Wanted List.
Dan Janisch is an affable enigma. He has been around the block, and he's still at it - writing solid songs and playing shows - beholden to no one. He has always operated a bit apart from the mainstream, so much so that he has built a career out of being an outsider. He comprises one third of the songwriting team of the Los Angeles local supergroup, Jolenes, and he has albums of his own. But it's Janisch's Renaissance man lifestyle that helps to paint the legend of his maverick status. He's not content to simply crank out great songs or play solid guitar parts. He is a natural craftsman and a tinkerer who is not afraid to deconstruct things to see how they work, so when Janisch plays those great songs, he might just be doing so with a guitar he built or an amplifier he assembled. Janisch wears his influences on his sleeve, which leads to inevitable comparisons to a number of other artists, and at this stage in his career his voice is eerily reminiscent of an alt-country Neil Diamond - and that's not a bad thing.
