Title: S2EP63, We Are All One With Everything Through Love with Elizabeth Percival Today's conversation took us all over the world. From acting, to spiritual retreats, to Montessori methods and Brain Gym, Elizabeth Percival has led a life she truly loves. We integrated our left and right brains during the show through an exercise that Elizabeth leads during her Brain Gym courses. I was left feeling calm, connected and at peace. It was incredible. Elizabeth was born on Long Island, lived in Virginia, North Carolina, San Francisco, Connecticut and now, Juneau Alaska. She is 79 years old and going strong. She has the spirit and heart of an angel. I enjoyed our conversation and feel a sense of being all right with the world after our short exercise. If you would like a similar experience, reach out to Elizabeth at elizabeth@weareourdreamscometrue.online Elizabeth Percival Bio: I am a healer, a spiritual coach, a mind/body transformation facilitator, a channeler, a visual artist, a writer, and a photographer. Yes, I am all of those things and more. I have been an actress, a Montessori Teacher, a home-schooling mother, and a supporter of people with developmental disabilities. I've traveled the world and now live in Juneau, Alaska. Here is how others have described me: An adventurous, magnetic, spiritual and playful giver; A feisty, salty mountain woman; A joyous, free, delightful and creative artist; A compassionate and motherly comforter and healer. A dynamic, wise, vivacious, vibrant powerhouse and creator. I have been practicing healing and transformational coaching for 30 years through various modalities. I have learned to listen within and listen to you to discover and utilize the best modality for you at the time we are working together. Your brain/body/spirit system knows what you need to move forward from where you are right now. I have the privilege of facilitating whatever is needed to bring you through that which is blocking your unfoldment mentally, physically or vibrationally. Tonight's Sleep Hypnosis with Jessica is designed to help to heal family issues, and the wounds that we can carry from generation to generation. Through both nature and nurture, we pick up our families' strengths, talents and weird birthmarks. But we can also pick up the suffering from previous generations, even when we don't experience the same circumstances. It can be difficult to rise above or transmute that pain, and because it's carried by our loved ones, we can feel guilty even trying to. First, we'll start with some relaxing insight from Jessica (00:00-03:20) Before tonight's Sleep Meditation (03:20-36:01) But first, credit where credit is due: This hypnosis is based on a technique I learned from a teacher of Jessica's, Donna Macallum, on a course she runs called the 7 Levels of Abundance, and she learned it from Tanya Mayburgh, who is a family constellations master trainer. It was also a response to a request Jessica received on instagram from Madeline, from Juneau Alaska. Hope this helps you Madeline, and all of you Sleep Wavers. You don't have to have experienced any family problems, or trauma, in order to benefit from this exercise. When Jessica first did it, it gave her a really profound feeling of peace and appreciation for my ancestors, and forged a beautiful connection to them all.   Join Sleep Wave Premium ✨ in just two taps! Gordo is a coach, stud endurance athlete and happens to be the only American to ever win ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship. He won the event in 2010 with partner, and fellow endurance legend, Jonas Colting, and we go into all the details of their epic day on the Archipelago. But first...Training UpdateWe just finished our last big week of training with some major pool swims, 4-hour Swimruns, and lots of trail running. With ÖTILLÖ just 11 days away as of this episode's release, we are feeling pretty good about stuff and are as ready as we're going to get. ShoutoutsThis week we are shouting out to all the teams racing the One Water Race. More on this race later in the show but rest assured that everyone who lined up at the start is more than worthy of a shoutout.Feats of EnduranceThis week's Feats of Endurance winner is Aaron Morrison who posted a surprisingly not-chilly Swimrun practice from Juneau Alaska over the weekend. Thanks for proving that if there's a place to swim and a place to go running nearby, Swimrunning is possible!Make sure to sign up for our LTBz Strava Club and join Swimrunners from around the world as they train for stuff. This Week in SwimrunWe've got a big update for everyone this week.In Norway, the epic Rockman Swimrun took place. This race looked as amazing as ever with some incredible photos that you can check out on their fb page. We asked Race Director, Thor Hesselberg, to share his race director report with us so enjoy this latest installment of Race Director Reports. We also have some exclusive reporting to share about Rockman. In 2023, the race will introduce an Experience distance to go along with their ÖTILLÖ merit race distance. In France, the also epic Swimrunman Laffrey (the race with the wild vertical kilometer to finish the world series distance race) and it looked like a perfect day for a super hard Swimrun. We love this race for a lot of reasons but especially because the event offers distances for all ability/desire levels from a ÖTILLÖ merit race distance all the way to a kids Swimrun. In Sweden, there were some fun local Swimrun events that took place including the Skatås Sjöar Swimrun and the Immeln Swimrun. It's so great to see these local events and it reminds us that these types of events is how the sport grows so make sure to support your local events by either signing up or volunteering.By the time this show is released, teams will have finished, or will be close to having finished, the inaugural One Water Race. This event is easily the toughest/longest Swimrun event on the planet with a total distance of 250 kms and 50 kms of that being swimming! We promise to have a lot more coverage about the event and teams participating in the next few weeks once we are back from Sweden. In the meantime, check out our interview with co-founder and race director, Thomas Ogander, on Episode 104 of the podcast. Here in the states, Ödyssey Swimrun Mackinac Island is happening this coming Sunday, August 28. We hope to see you all there! Special bonus shoutout to Chet for the recommendation.Gordo ByrnWe have to give a special shoutout to Lars Finanger for connecting us with Gordo. It was so cool to go back down memory lane with Gordo about his ÖTILLÖ experience. Even though it was twelve years ago now, his memories of the event are as crisp as ever and it was obvious that he had an amazing experience racing with Jonas Colting. In this chat, we talked about his endurance background, how he found his way to ÖTILLÖ and how he's seen the sport evolve since his race back in 2010. We loved this conversation and know that you will as well. Enjoy!BTW, check out Gordo's blog that he's been updating every week for almost 20 years at feelthebyrn.blog.That's it for this week's show. I grew up in a small town in Monterey County with my parents and two older sisters all choosing a career in teaching. I knew that wasn't my route. After graduating with a double degree in psychology and Spanish I followed the psychology path for a few years but high recidivism and a model where I didn't get compensated for all I put in to the job didn't fit me. Luckily I had a seasoned businessman uncle that guided me through the beginnings of a career in sales and business. Years later this is what I can show for myself:     I've exceeded annual quota 13 of my 16 years in sales. Nationally recognized sales entrepreneur in Yahoo! Finance and Digital Journal. Award winning leadership oriented sales professional - background features more than 15+ years of exceptional performance in progressively responsible roles in sales and sales leadership. Multi methodology model expert (Challenger, Sandler, Miller Heiman, etc) but especially appreciate the power of mastering the psychology of sales. Specialties: Sales Process, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Collaboration Software, Enterprise Class Video and Collaboration, Account Based Marketing, Channel Sales Software, Personalization, and Rescue Dog Network. I was the number one performer while working at Salesforce, experiencing 4 startups that were acquired by Cisco, Experian, McDonald's, and AOL. I've hired and fired and exceeded annual quotas up to $2.5M. I'm an Enterprise seller with zero copy-paste component in my sales process. I also know all sides of the business having created a successful one spanning 3 years. I have experience effectively displacing legacy systems and maintaining Forrester quadrant leader status. This gives me pride and assists in interview processes but most important are authenticity, humility, and respect. No one likes a big ego selling them a business sales solution for 6-9 months. My passion is to help address your business needs. I thrive on showing businesses how they can maximize their results and achieve quantum leaps, easier and faster than ever before. This is what I bring to the table. Extra tidbits: I've traveled to 40 countries I motorcycled through China, Vietnam, and Australia alone after getting my motorcycle license 24 hours before getting on the plane I fell down an 8 story chimney I was 4th in the state of California for the 1500 meters I'm an amateur stand-up comedian and was an amateur hip hop freestyle artist I've gone on 4 bicycle tours with my father totaling 6,000 miles. I lived in Juneau Alaska to work I lived in Costa during high school living with a Costa Rican family and going to Costa Rican high school I lived in Spain in college attending a Spanish university.   Contact Eric: Website Apple Podcast Spotify Podcast YouTube Channel LinkedIn

A newly-formed global network of cruise port residents, civil society organizations, and labor & crime victim advocates came together during the COVID 19 pandemic to demand “no return to business-as-usual” for cruising. What do They do? The Global Cruise Activist Network provides a forum for building relationships and alliances, and taking collective action. Our focus is on organizing, sharing information, skills and resources, and building a “big tent” coalition. Who They Are For decades, the cruise industry's business model has depended on burning huge volumes of highly polluting fuel, dumping in the ocean, underpaying its lowest-paid workers, and avoiding labor, tax, environmental and criminal laws. Cruise ships continue to put the social, cultural, economic, public health, and environmental health of port communities at risk. Cruise companies have failed to protect the health and safety of passengers and workers, and have contributed to climate change. In response, advocates seeking justice both onboard and ashore have come together to form The Global Cruise Activist Network. As a global network, we are aligned around the values of health, safety, security, conservation, and equity. We want clean air, clean water, and healthy, resilient communities. We want fair and just wages and working conditions for workers. We want to protect wildlife and the climate. Despite our common cause and our commitment to think globally and act locally, we are also diverse. Some are abolitionists, advocating degrowth and an end to the cruise industry. Some work to restrict cruise ships' size and frequency. Others call for reform - for the cruise industry to act more responsibly. We support individuals' and communities' right to self-determination: to ban cruise ships entirely, restrict or limit them, or push for their reform. All are welcome. Meet Karla Hart of Juneau Alaska started looking critically at the cruise industry when a job put her in close contact in 1984. She ran tourism businesses from 1987-1997, was a founding member of the Alaska Wilderness Recreation and Tourism Association after the 1989 Exxon Valdez Oil Spill, and served alongside cruise executives as a Governor's Appointee to the Alaska Tourism Marketing Council in the mid-1990s. Her home is miles away from the cruise port in downtown Juneau, but it is under a shortcut flight route for helicopter tours to the Mendenhall Glacier. Relentless noise in August of 2019, coupled with explosive cruise growth, inspired her to start organizing an in-person global networking conference of cruise activists. Online searches quickly connected her with Ruth Starr in Maine, who was also interested in forming a broader cruise activist network. While the global pandemic inspired the two to change course from planning an in-person conference to coordinating online network — the Global Cruise Activist Network was born.
