Welcome to yet another “New Year” I remember when I was in an unhealthy marriage each time the "New Year" came around and 'Old Year" passed my world became smaller & my outlook became more and more hopeless All I could see was my life. Ug! It was nothing to reflect on. All the wasted years just scrolling by and me not having a say or remembering any of it. Now I knew I should have been grateful, I should have been able to embrace my "all my blessings". I was just way too deep in it to really know why, I was frustrated because I did not, in the past or presently do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING to change my situation, and frankly I was too exhausted to think about the mountain I would need to climb in order to make a change.  MY VIEW OF THE "F...ING NEW YEAR" HAS CHANGED SIGNIFICANTLY! If you or someone you know is experiencing emotional, verbal, or mental abuse.... please share my podcast. You may change someone's life. https://coachingwithdrheidi.com/

My Guest says he "has absolutely no fear of rejection." and he wants you to understand that "you  only have one life, don't let fear hold you back from living your life's potential." Sean Kelly has this magic of making you feel that anything is possible .  He loves helping people achieve their dreams. That said, he's launched "Do the Big Dream." You can find more information about his 15 step formula for achieving any dream and his foundation pillar skills. More info at  http://dothebigdream.com/.In this episode you're going to hear some eye opening stories of adventures of  Sean and his mom, including driving 618 miles from Nevada to California when Sean was a young boy.  Linda trusted her son and they relied on each other for many years. Sean will be the first to say that he generally speaks of lessons learned from his father-both good and bad. Sharing his story on SHLTMM  was a great opportunity for him to share all the attributes of his mother, Linda. With Sean's dad already living in Germany, Linda had to work full time to support she and her son. By the age of  nine, Sean's parent's divorced, yet thought it a good idea for all to move to Germany together. Living check by check was risking but allowed the trio to have wonderful get-aways, taking Sean out of school and traveling all over Europe. His mom's feeling was that her son was going to learn way  more by traveling  country to country and seeing all of Europe rather than sitting in a classroom.Linda was an artist. She was passionate about photography and painting, painting flowers in particular.  Unfortunately, she wasn't comfortable sharing her works, possibly because of fear of criticism or judgement. Or perhaps she painted to make herself happy and didn't need to have anyone else see it . Linda was diligent about her craft. She traveled to Paris and visited  all the finest museums and studied what interested her most, then went home and painted. Unfortunately, Sean shares details of a tragic end to his mother's treasures.Linda and Sean's dad met when Linda was a senior in high school and his father, a photographer for a local newspaper after returning from  serving in Vietnam. The young couple had a terrible time trying to conceive a child yet while at a revival retreat in Mexico, the minister told Linda that she was in fact pregnant and pregnant with "a very special child."  And that "God has great plans for this child."  So imagine Sean's mom sharing this story with her son on a regular basis, so Sean clearly felt that he was destined to accomplish great things. Sean shares stories of doubt while engaged in combat in Iraq where he felt he was going to die, yet felt deep down that "I  don't think I've fulfilled what God has for me yet," and carried on through combat. Sean thanks his mother for constantly reinforcing  that he's capable of doing anything he wants in life, if he sets his mind to it. Linda also made sure that Sean understood that God had special plans for him.Sean Kelly is the creator and founder of the very successful tv series here in the US and  England, "Storage Hunters."You can hear more about Sean and his experience of being abandoned by his parents in Italy as a teen on the podcast "Do It Now" with host Sara Moses. He finished high school on his own then moved to Italy, again on his own.One of Sean's philosophies is "if you want to do something, just go do it." And he's learned from a number of hard knocks in his life as a learning experience. And please listen through to the end  to hear stories of Sean's grandmother who grew up on a farm in North Dakota and was raised by her older brothers and was a business owner when not many women were. Sean Kelly Social Media:EMAIL:DoTheBigDream@gmail.comMy social media links & Websiteswww.DoTheBigDream.comwww.TheCharityAuctioneer.comFacebook.com/groups/dothebigdream/Twitter @SeanKellyComedyFacebook.comhttps://www.facebook.com/SeanKellyComedianInstagram@Auctioneer_Sean_Kelly LinkedInwww.linkedin./in/thecharityauctioneer "Should Have Listened To My Mother" is an ongoing conversation about mothers and the roles they play in our lives. Career Q&A with Kate Beckinsale from September 22, 2016. Moderated by Dave Karger. Kate Beckinsale early established herself playing in classic and literary adaptations, some with an Austen pedigree. While still a student at Oxford she played opposite Robert Sean Leonard as “Hero” in Kenneth Branagh’s version of Much Ado About Nothing. She also won the title role in the widely admired British mini-series adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma and particular notice for her performance in John Schlesinger’s version of the Emma update, Cold Comfort Farm. “It was from Cold Comfort Farm that I thought Kate would be perfect for the Charlotte character in The Last Days of Disco,” Stillman says, “and her role in the Schlesinger film was essentially Austen-derived. It was the first time I wrote a part with a particular actor in mind. The Last Days of Disco would be Kate’s first American role, winning her the London Film Critics’ “Best Supporting Actress” award, and leading to stardom in America in a series of notable films including Michael Bay’s epic Pearl Harbor, the hit romantic comedy Serendipity opposite John Cusack, and the ensemble drama, Laurel Canyon, with Christian Bale and Frances McDormand. Then began her remarkable run as the iconic action hero ‘Selene’ in the Underworld series for which she has recently completed the shoot for a fifth installment, focusing its story on the next generation of Vampires and Lycans and the war that continues to wage between the two species. Her additional film credits include her early British film Shooting Fish, Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator, Contraband, Total Recall, Everybody’s Fine, the thriller Vacancy, Click, Jonathan Kaplan’s Brokedown Palace, Van Helsing, Absolutely Anything, and the independent dramas Nothing But The Truth, Stonehearst Asylum, The Face of an Angel, Snow Angels, and Fragments (aka Winged Creatures). Beckinsale’s television appearances include playing in One Against the Wind for Hallmark Films. On the stage, Beckinsale has appeared in ‘Clocks & Whistles’, ‘Sweetheart’, and the National Theatre’s touring production of ‘The Seagull.’ Beckinsale, who was born and raised in London before going on to Oxford, has for some years been based in Los Angeles.

Seriously, if you are a person, and you can read this, and you know anything, and by anything I mean ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING, please please please please please write me an email with tips about podcasting. Or some good soup recipes. I do like those. Or any easy recipes, really. Just don't sent me recipes for something complicated like Sushi. I'm not brave enough to try Sushi. But maybe I am? I just made a podcast, and that's a thing, so... Sure, send me whatever recipes you want, even if it's something complicated. I'll at least write back an email. Unless we get big. Which we won't, but if we do, I'll have some assistant write you back. But that's only if you're reading this in 10 years or something, and we got big enough to sell this to somebody else for like $50 dollars or something, and they are nice enough to actually write people back. I hope that happens. I mean, I hope the part about emailing people back happens in ten years, not the part about selling this for $50. I hope it's something much higher, like $200 or something. Yeah, I have hopes and dreams too, like a real boy. Boys come up in this podcast, for like 1 minute. Ugg, I hate listening to myself. But it's not what you think. It's not the sound of my voice that bothers me, because even though I have a useless bag of flesh on the front of my face that is good for absolutely nothing unless it's spring and it decides to just leak its flesh juice all over the place, and the overall effect of this dumptster-fire of an organ is that I sound like 3rd place in most nasally voice contest, it's the absolute balderdashtistic nonsense things that I say that makes me hurt under my fingernails and inside my eyeballs. So, yeah... This is our podcast. Hope you like it. Well, that's not true. My hopes are far lower than that. I hope that you recognize it as a podcast, and not some TTS voice activator applied to a really generous and aggressive machine learning algorithm applied to the text output of my kids banging on my computer keyboard. Yeah, I'm can afford a computer. Come at me, bro. Computers come up in this episode. A surface, computer, in particular. I totally forgot what I was supposed to be doing in this field, and I need to go to bed tonight, so I'm going to finish this form and hope for the best. Cheers! Making a decision to go all in and live life on your terms isn’t as easy as it sounds. We all have responsibilities and we all need to make a living but some things are bigger than conforming to everyday life. If your why is big enough then going all in will be easy, in fact it won’t even feel like that, it will feel like a natural thing to do and your progression will be a matter of course. Our guest today has done just that. He finished his commerce degree and 2 days after he was offered a full time role with a great company he was ready to exit the 9 to 5 and take on the world as an entrepreneur. The trouble was he had no experience running a business or developing the websites and software that was required to bring his ideas to life.Karan did it anyway, fast forward a couple of years and he is now the owner of 3 businesses and only works on projects that he loves and others that he is deeply passionate about. He has fostered a company culture of fun, inclusion and equality and is certainly an up and coming entrepreneur to watch closely.Your going to love his story of just doing it and going all in. There are some lessons in there for us all with this approach and attitude. I’m excited he’s here so please help me in welcoming Karan Bilimoria.www.instagram.com/karanbilimoriawww.flairr.iowww.socialmindr.comwww.thefounderlink.com

Dreem2Reality Entertainment presents The Rock Vegas Podcast. On today's show: Ryan and Dave host today's one hundred eighty eighth episode! The guys start the show by discussing the fact that it would seem as though there are now only 2 seasons, summer and winter. Then, Ryan voices his frustration with Paint Nite and recounts his recent experience at a live comedy show where a woman who was sitting behind him literally repeated every punchline out loud to herself and how annoying it is. After that, the guys watch the Absolutely Anything movie trailer before Ryan tells of another recent experience at a Cirque du Soleil show he attended and how funny the exploitation of the midgets in the show were. Then, Ryan complains about wet pillows and the security footage that caught Ryan trying to maneuver a couch outside of the studio and the fiasco that occured, and it was all caught on tape! The show rounds out with Ryan complaining about a recent credenza he purchased and the horribly written assembly instructions that were included. Enjoy the eargasms! Today's Guest: Bill Jones, Ben Timlett, documentary filmmakers, Boom Bust Boom (starring Terry Jones of "Monty Python's Flying Circus")   Watch this exclusive Mr. Media interview with Bill Jones and Ben Timlett by clicking on the video player above!  Mr. Media is recorded live before a studio audience full of people who always knew Alan Greenspan was full of shit but were more afraid of his journalist wife, Andrea Mitchell, than they were the head of the Fed… in the NEW new media capital of the world… St. Petersburg, Florida! If you will only sit still for one lesson in how Western economies work – or, don’t – I recommend you watch Boom Bust Boom by filmmakers Bill Jones and Ben Timlett. The documentary is a masterful explanation of the cycles caused by greed and mass psychosis, accomplished through a combination of historical recaps and expert witnesses, original animation, art and even “South Park” clips, plus much humor and song. BILL JONES podcast excerpt: "Ben and I just watched 'The Big Short' where they go, 'You're betting against the housing market? The housing market NEVER goes down! And I kept shouting at the screen, 'YEAH? 1929!!!" You can LISTEN to this interview with BILL JONES and BEN TIMLETT, documentary filmmakers of BOOM BUST BOOM, by clicking the audio player above! Oh, and actor John Cusack. The film’s third director and narrator’s not bad either: it’s Bill Jones’s dad, Terry Jones, whom you might recognize as a co-founder of “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” and an accomplished filmmaker in his own right. He did, after all, write and direct Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Life of Brian, and The Meaning of Life. Perhaps you’ve heard of him? BEN TIMLETT podcast excerpt: "Do you want to know how Bill and I met? Bill's got an older sister; I've got an older brother. And we lived in the same area of South London. One day, Bill's Dad, Terry Jones, was dropping off Bill's sister near my house..." BILL JONES podcast excerpt: "... And my dad sees this little boy wandering around. He goes, 'Hello, little boy! I've got a little boy at home about your age. Do you want to come home and play with him?' And the last thing Ben's Mum sees is this strange man waving goodbye..." BEN TIMLETT podcast excerpt: "...I got in, and Terry said to my Mum, 'I'll bring him home at the end of school.' My Mum was like, 'I believe I recognize him (from 'Monty Python'), but I can't believe that just happened!" BILL JONES podcast excerpt: "We've been friends ever since." As for Bill Jones and Ben Timlett, this is their third feature together. Their last project was A Liar’s Autobiography, starring the five surviving Pythons. Before that, they collaborated on Absolutely Anything starring Simon Pegg and Robin Williams. Key interview moments: • 5:45 Bill Jones talks about comparisons between his film, Boom Bust Boom, and The Big Short; • 13:45 Ben Timlett discusses the challenges in editing such a complicated subject, let alone breaking down the immense crapload of jargon inherent in any financial discussion ; • 20:00 The filmmakers tell the true story of how the met as little boys (hint: it involves "Monty Python's Flying Circus" original member Terry Jones and a virtual kidnapping). Zorro's Fabulous U.N.C.L.E This week Producer Rob introduced us to the early 1980's swashbuckling comedy Zorro: The Gay Blade starring George Hamilton. Honestly, it's real - look it up. That opened the traps up for Off the Shelf in which we feature the legendary documentary Man With A Movie Camera, anarchic zombie-comedy Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead and the much anticipated Monty Python reunion in Absolutely Anything. Our Film of the Week is the reboot of the classic 1960's spy TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
