Returning from California, Gio and Jerry discuss the Mets' shocking 11-6 loss after blowing a 6-0 lead, attributing it to David Peterson's poor performance and the team's recent struggles, particularly the pitching staff. They express doubt about the Mets' ability to recover and Jerry is skeptical about Kodai Senga's upcoming start. C-Lo's update confirms ongoing baseball losses, including the Mets' defeat, the Brewers' 12th consecutive win, and the Yankees failing to sweep the Twins, despite Giancarlo Stanton's strong play. The Jets and Giants joint practice saw Sauce Gardner and Malik Nabers sit out, while Breece Hall discussed running back contract extensions. Jerry Jones mentioned an experimental drug saved his life. The hour concludes with Gio and Jerry still unable to feel better about the Mets' situation.

In this episode, Cindy Esliger discusses negativity bias, the tendency we have to look for what's going wrong when we're in an environment that doesn't affirm or value our contributions. This focus on the negative isn't out of pessimism, but is a survival strategy. However, the more we allow ourselves to focus on the negative, the more it feels like the truth. Cindy examines how this happens and what it takes to change our mindset and challenge the negative patterns. Breaking free of self-limiting narratives is possible, and Cindy explains how it's done. Negativity is rarely something we consciously choose. It's a survival technique that becomes a default way of thinking over time. The first step to breaking the pattern, therefore, is acknowledging how easy it is to focus on the negative. Cindy addresses how the habit forms and what we unconsciously do to feed it. When we understand how we're responding to negative input or a toxic environment, we can identify where the self-doubt takes root. She presents the idea of shifting the pattern of our input to reframe our mindset. Cindy's advice on breaking the cycle of negativity includes making a choice not to let our challenges be the only story we tell ourselves. By giving ourselves permission to believe that outcomes other than negative ones are possible, we start to retrain our brains to identify opportunity as well as risk. Cindy talks about the pitfalls of internalized comparison and the glorification of suffering for suffering's sake. She breaks down how these add to negative bias and work against our success. Instead, she advises giving ourselves the benefit of the doubt so can alter our own mindset and outlook. Pastor Andy Cass In this powerful message, we explore the Helmet of Salvation—not just as protection, but as a mindset of momentum. Challenged to shift our focus from distraction to deliverance, and to let God renew our minds and direct our steps toward victory. TEXT: Ephesians 6:17, Romans 12:1–2, Colossians 3:1–2, Philippians 4:5–8, Isaiah 26:3–4, 2 Corinthians 10:3–5, Psalm 140:7, 1 Samuel 17:38–40, 48–50, 54, 1 Samuel 18:6–7 NOTES: Big Idea: God wants your focus back. "Put your hat on!" — Helmet of Salvation is not a moment but a mindset. “Helmet of salvation is misunderstood to be a moment when it's a mindset of momentum.” We're loosing because: 1. You're fashionably wrong 2. You're fearful and fail to step out 3. You're mis-focused “Focus is a game changer — a war winner.” Salvation = deliverance → direction → daily mindset. “Jesus is trying to lead us free from our mental blur…” Inverse: Without the helmet of salvation = distracted, jealous, envious, negative, captive. “Our King, Commander, and Savior is Jesus Christ. Where he wars, we war. Where he hopes, we hope.”
Toxic culture doesn't always show up with warning signs—it can creep in slowly, through unchecked gossip, lack of accountability, or subtle disrespect. Over time, even high-performing teams start to fray at the edges, with morale dropping and turnover quietly rising. The energy that once drove growth gets replaced with tension and mistrust, and suddenly the business feels heavy. It's not always about strategy or systems—sometimes it's the atmosphere that's quietly pulling everything apart. Debbie Longo is a corporate behavior coach with over two decades of experience helping leaders fix toxic work environments. She focuses on identifying and removing negative behaviors that quietly erode team morale and productivity. Toda, Debbie discusses how unchecked attitudes spread and hurt performance across entire organizations. She stresses that ignoring these patterns can kill profits and even sink a business. Her strategies are direct, practical, and built for real workplace results. Stay tuned!
