Even before there were cloned dire wolf puppies earlier this year, an unusual discovery was made at the Skinwalker Ranch. While the story does not seem to be connected to dire wolf de-extinction, their investigation into the possibility of finding a "dire wolf" fossil may change what we know about the species. A few days ago, there was breaking news about the DNA results that came back for the wolf-like animal carcass they found in Dry Gulch Creek. The animal was 11% Eurasian/Greenland wolf and 89% unknown canid! According to the expert, it is either a new species or a species thought to be extinct. It is an enigma that has no genetic record anywhere. This means they have discovered a new species or a prehistoric one that has remained hidden. In this episode of the Mind Shift Podcast, Aaron and Erwin McManus reflect on a major transition as Mosaic moves out of its long-time Hollywood home. They recount the final worship night where nearly 900 people gathered and 70–80 baptisms took place, marking the end of an era. The conversation touches on the new campuses now emerging in Calabasas, South Pasadena, Culver City, and Studio City. Erwin shares emotional reflections on the legacy of the building and the many lives transformed there, while Aaron underscores how movement and growth have always been part of Mosaic's DNA.The episode also dives into the ongoing exploration of Genesis and the growing interest from new audiences, with a notable 60–80% of listeners being first-time participants. Erwin explains why staying in Genesis offers endless opportunities for reflection and theological curiosity. They emphasize the importance of disagreement and diversity of thought within their community, encouraging listeners to engage, question, and wrestle with scripture. This ethos of open dialogue and mutual respect shapes their approach to both the Bible and the people engaging with it.As the discussion unfolds, Aaron shares a moment where he called out performative criticism in church culture, and Erwin unpacks how terms like “heretic” are often weaponized to enforce conformity. Drawing from history, they discuss how ideas once deemed heretical—like heliocentrism—eventually reshaped how we understand truth. Erwin stresses the necessity of intellectual honesty and the courage to question long-held traditions. The conversation becomes a call to spiritual integrity, where truth is not inherited but discovered through inquiry and faith.Throughout the episode, Erwin shares his own theological journey and how he starts with Jesus—not a system—when interpreting scripture. Using analogies like Oppenheimer's role as a theorist, he explains his focus on deep questions over surface answers. This leads into a thoughtful reflection on the Old Testament, which he compares to stories like *Braveheart* and *Gladiator*, noting how its themes of freedom, honor, and struggle mirror real human experience. He reminds listeners that the Bible was written by the oppressed, not the powerful, and that its messiness is part of its authenticity. Finally, the conversation turns toward the future of theology and the church. Erwin critiques the stagnating effect of the phrase “there's nothing new under the sun,” arguing that it limits innovation and imagination in faith communities. He shares his own experience being blacklisted for advocating creativity and change, and stresses the urgent need for early adopters and innovators to influence theology today. The episode closes with talk of future long-form episodes, community events in different cities, and a shared excitement to keep exploring faith, scripture, and transformation—starting with Jesus and moving outward from there.

FULL Breakdown Of Kohberger's Alt Suspect Claims As Judge Denies Motion Bryan Kohberger, charged in the brutal Idaho murders case, recently took a desperate courtroom gamble, suggesting four alternate suspects to deflect blame and raise reasonable doubt. But in a dramatic courtroom twist, Judge Steven Hippler swiftly shut down Kohberger's claims, calling them "purely speculative" and irrelevant under Idaho law. Kohberger's defense argued that three of these individuals had close social connections to the victims and were present at events shortly before the murders. Another, more obscure individual, had only a passing encounter weeks prior, captured on surveillance footage but never even interacting directly with the victim. Despite Kohberger's aggressive push to introduce these so-called alternate suspects, forensic evidence proved decisive: DNA analysis excluded every single person he proposed as alternate perpetrators. The court highlighted this lack of tangible evidence, noting none of the individuals drove a vehicle matching the suspect's known description—a crucial detail since the killer drove to the crime scene. Judge Hippler didn't hold back, citing landmark cases like State v. Meister and Chambers v. Mississippi to emphasize the strict criteria for presenting alternate perpetrator theories. The ruling emphasized that "speculative blaming" could confuse jurors, unfairly prejudice the prosecution, and waste crucial trial time. Kohberger's desperate strategy was seen by some legal observers as an attempt to muddy the waters and distract from the compelling evidence against him. In the end, the court's ruling sets clear boundaries for the upcoming trial: Kohberger can question investigative methods broadly but is strictly prohibited from naming specific alternate suspects without substantial new evidence. Is Kohberger's strategy just a distraction tactic, or could there be more to these claims? Dive deep into this explosive courtroom development and understand exactly why the judge dismissed these "alternate suspect" theories. #BryanKohberger #IdahoMurders #TrueCrime #CourtroomDrama #CrimeNews #TrialUpdate #LegalAnalysis #MurderCase #AlternateSuspects #ForensicEvidence Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?  Check out our YouTube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/@hiddenkillerspod Instagram https://www.instagram.com/hiddenkillerspod/ Facebook https://www.facebook.com/hiddenkillerspod/ Tik-Tok https://www.tiktok.com/@hiddenkillerspod X Twitter https://x.com/tonybpod Listen Ad-Free On Apple Podcasts Here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/true-crime-today-premium-plus-ad-free-advance-episode/id1705422872

There was a time in Boréale's (https://www.boreale.com/en) not-so-distant past when they might have released a new beer every other year. The brewery is one of Quebec's oldest craft breweries, dating back to the late 1980s, and over its history it has seen waves and trends come and go. But the changing dynamics of craft brewing in the 2010s posed a different kind of challenge that required a new way to approach innovation and risk-taking. Then head brewer, now vice president of innovation, Gabriel “Gab” Dulong played a big part in that adjustment, getting the brewery into the unfolding world of production-scale hazy IPA in 2016, then pushing hard into nonalcoholic NA beer through the pandemic. Today, the brewery remains one of the largest craft breweries in Quebec—and only in Quebec—producing about 100,000 barrels of beer per year. But innovation is now core to their DNA. In this episode, Dulong discusses: helping an established brewery transition to the market realities of the past decade reorienting to sell on quality and ingredients instead of price point building a new approach to cold-chain storage to properly distribute hazy IPA in Quebec generating internal knowledge in NA brewing developing style-dependent processes for different NA beers experimenting with specialized yeasts before settling on tight processes with standard brewing yeasts building mouthfeel and intensity without alcohol in beer hopping with modern hop products in NA beer malt selection for hazy IPA manipulating final gravity for NA versions of core brands And more. Does New Evidence Really Prove Barry Morphew Killed Suzanne? 5 Critical Questions Description: When Suzanne Morphew vanished in May 2020, her husband Barry quickly became the primary suspect. Yet despite strong initial suspicion, prosecutors failed to secure a conviction, facing major setbacks due to procedural errors and discovery violations. But now, with Suzanne's remains found in 2023 and new forensic evidence on the table, Barry Morphew faces charges again. The question remains: is this new evidence strong enough to finally prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt? In this video, we closely examine five critical questions that could determine the outcome of Barry Morphew's renewed prosecution. First, we scrutinize the forensic significance of BAM, the rare wildlife tranquilizer discovered in Suzanne's bones, and its direct link to Barry. Then we explore the troubling implications of Barry's digital footprint, particularly his phone mysteriously entering airplane mode at the precise time Suzanne stopped communicating. We'll address whether unidentified male DNA found in Suzanne's car and helmet could still create doubt among jurors, and how the prosecution plans to counter this potential weakness. Additionally, we discuss whether Barry's suspicious behavior around the time of Suzanne's disappearance—including inconsistent stories and a seemingly staged alibi—can outweigh juror skepticism. Finally, former FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer provides crucial insights, outlining exactly what the prosecution must prove to convince a jury of Barry's guilt this time. This video is essential viewing for anyone following the case, aiming to clarify the line between suspicion and proof in this deeply unsettling and legally complex mystery. Joan Jonas, now 88, has been a celebrated artist since the late 1960s. But it wasn't until 2024 that she received her crowning recognition in the U.S., when New York's Museum of Modern Art organized a major retrospective of her work. The arts icon splits her time between a Soho loft in NYC, and the "magical landscape" of Cape Breton, where she can be by her muse: the ocean. As she tells IDEAS producer Mary Lynk, "We come from the sea. It's not a memory. It's a feeling. It's in our DNA."Part of Jonas' MoMA retrospective called Moving Off the Land II has been acquired by the National Gallery of Canada and the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. The exhibit will tour across Canada this summer, beginning in Cape Breton.

This powerful episode draws a chilling line from the days when a single missing child like Adam Walsh could captivate the nation, to today's heartbreaking reality: 300,000 migrant children unaccounted for under the Biden administration. With searing testimony from RFK Jr. and insights from Tom Homan, Tara exposes how lax vetting, halted DNA testing, and political expediency have enabled a sprawling child trafficking crisis. The conversation then pivots to the political earthquake in New York City as self-declared socialist Zoran Mamdani defeats Andrew Cuomo in a mayoral primary, backed by AOC and other far-left insurgents. From abused children in strip clubs to Marxist mayors idolizing communist enforcers, this episode paints a grim but urgent portrait of cultural decay, failed leadership, and a Democrat Party shifting from covert progressivism to open radicalism.

The initial ruling? Suicide. But now—thanks to a federal indictment—that story is unraveling fast. In this episode, we break down the disturbing case of Sandra Birchmore, who prosecutors say was groomed and exploited for years by Stoughton Police Officer Matthew Farwell. Farwell met Sandra through a police youth mentorship program when she was just 13. By 15, he was in a sexual relationship with her. By 23, she was pregnant with a child she believed was his. Then she turned up dead. Prosecutors allege Farwell strangled her to keep her quiet, then staged the scene to look like a suicide. Years passed before the FBI stepped in—exposing what many believe to be a shocking abuse of power. And Farwell isn't the only name caught in the fallout. Other officers allegedly had ties to Sandra, yet walked away uncharged. Some resigned. Some let their police certifications quietly expire. And all the while, Sandra's family was left to fight for the truth. In this two-part exposé from The Tara Show, Tara dissects two explosive crises gripping America. First, she reveals the staggering scope of child trafficking enabled by federal failures—300,000 migrant children lost, many trafficked or dead, after DNA testing was deliberately suspended under the Biden administration. Whistleblowers, damning statistics, and RFK Jr.'s testimony expose the horrifying negligence and political motives behind the silence. Then, Tara pivots to the collapse of law and order in America's cities, where radical officials like LA's Vice Mayor Cynthia Gonzalez openly urge gangs to battle ICE. She connects this urban insurrectionism to a broader surge in mental illness among liberals, the Democrat Party's embrace of rage-fueled socialism, and New York City's shocking primary win for a self-proclaimed socialist. With chilling parallels to Marxist guerrilla doctrine and cartel-run territories, Tara warns: these are no longer just political trends—they're signs of a nation fracturing from within.

In a harrowing exposé, Tara reveals how over 300,000 illegal immigrant children trafficked into the U.S. under the Biden administration have gone missing—many handed over without ID checks or DNA verification. Citing whistleblowers, RFK Jr., and DHS data, she details how children as young as toddlers were placed in the hands of traffickers, facing horrific abuse and shortened life expectancies. The administration's alleged cover-up—including the suspension of DNA testing—is described as a return to the darkest roots of Democratic Party history. The show then pivots to Iran, with Tara warning that the Biden administration's and Trump's recent wavering on Israel's military actions could embolden Iran's theocracy. As the Tehran Times declares victory, she argues that failing to “kill the king” invites continued terror, assassinations, and nuclear threats. From trafficked children to Iranian escalation, this episode calls for moral clarity—and action—against institutional evil, at home and abroad.

In this fiery compilation from The Tara Show, Tara paints a vivid and alarming portrait of a nation in freefall. She exposes the Biden administration's complicity in the largest child trafficking crisis in U.S. history—over 300,000 migrant children lost due to halted DNA testing—and the government's willful blindness to cartel-driven border chaos. Shifting to urban America, Tara reports on shocking audio of LA Vice Mayor Cynthia Gonzalez urging violent gang resistance against ICE, calling it proof that Democrat leaders are now merging with street gangs to undermine national sovereignty. She argues that cities like Los Angeles and New York are no longer American in spirit—"post-American territories" governed by lawlessness, socialism, and rage. Tara also digs into new mental health data showing that liberals—especially women—self-report staggering rates of poor mental health, linking this to the rage-fueled politics of the modern Left. As New York City embraces a self-declared socialist and calls grow to defund police entirely, she warns that Marxist guerrilla strategies are being deployed in plain sight. From lost children to lost cities, Tara delivers a stark warning: America is not just at risk of decline—it's actively being dismantled from within.

During a recent court hearing, Judge Steven Hippler acknowledged the defense's proposal but emphasized the need for concrete evidence to support such a claim. The defense has been given until May 23 to present admissible evidence identifying the alleged alternate suspect. Currently, the details of this theory remain sealed pending the judge's decision on its admissibility .Legal experts view this strategy as a high-risk attempt to introduce reasonable doubt, especially given the substantial evidence against Kohberger, including DNA found on a knife sheath at the crime scene and surveillance footage of his vehicle near the victims' residence.
