Join Jim and Greg for this special Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch. Today, they each focus on three stories that slipped through the cracks of media coverage and deserve a lot more attention, both at home and abroad.First, Jim highlights just how dire the health of Social Security is, how big of a loss recipients are likely to suffer, and whether either party has any good ideas of how to deal with this. Greg hopes American voters are paying at least a little bit of attention to elections in Latin america, where in nation after nation, voters are giving socialists the boot. Will we learn the lessons they're trying to teach us.Next, Jim updates the Russia-Ukraine war, including the ominous trend of Russian drones attacking Eastern European nations beyond Ukraine. Will the Trump administration address this issue? Meanwhile, Greg praises federal prosecutors for charging members of Antifa for plotting to impede ICE in Minneapolis. But he slams local prosecutors for not pursuing charges against the anti-ICE invaders of Cities Church. Finally, Jim explains how Joe Biden's misguided promises of student loan debt forgiveness actually made life financially harder for those who took out the loans. Greg calls out the "independent" U.S. Senate candidates in Nebraska and Montana for fundraising through the left's Act Blue apparatus.  Please visit our great sponsors:IncogniTake control of your digital footprint today.  Use code 3ML at the link below and get 60% off an annual plan: https://incogni.com/3MLHomeServeFor 50% less your first year, go to https://HomeServe.com/Martini to find the plan that's right for you. In this message from Is That in the Bible?: House of David, Pastor Levi Lusko looks at the moment Samuel comes to Bethlehem to anoint Israel's next king and discover how easily we can be fooled by what looks impressive on the outside. David was overlooked by his own family, dismissed by his brothers, and underestimated by everyone but God because while people judge by outward appearance, the Lord looks at the heart. This message will help you:– understand what the Bible says about David's anointing– discern what's Scripture, imagination, and extra-biblical tradition– value character over charisma, image, or status– prioritize soul health over surface-level presentationContinue watching in House of David Season 1, Episode 3, streaming on Amazon Prime Video.NEXT STEPS:Ask for prayer or connect with a pastor: https://freshlife.church/contactRegister your decision to follow Jesus and receive free resources: https://freshlife.church/know-godGive a financial gift to support what God is doing as we take steps forward to see the Gospel reach far and wide: https://freshlife.church/giveSUBSCRIBE:Sign up to receive encouragement straight to your inbox, and to stay up to date with announcements, events, and more: https://church.us13.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=6ea4d82b2567db3e86b7767cd&id=451f2fe63eDon't miss a video! June 25, 2026Today is the 150th anniversary of the Battle of the Little Bighorn, when Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong lost his entire command to Lakota warriors, The road to the Little Bighorn started during the Civil War, The US government, strapped by the cost of war, stopped providing food, forcing the Santees to flee to join the Teton Lakotas in what is now Montana, The massacre at Sand Creek convinced the Tetons that they must resist, After Robert E Lee's surrender, General Sherman was transferred to the Plains, The government abandoned the Bozeman Trail in favor of protecting the railroad, giving the Lakotas control of the Great Sioux Reservation, Miners wanted access to gold and business interests wanted land, and set out to build a fort in the Black Hills to intimidate the warriors who were skirmishing with the intruders, The Lakotas refused to sell land in the Black Hills, The War Department commanded the army to subdue the Lakotas, General George Crook planned an attack on Sitting Bull's camp, The Lakotas and their allies who had settled on the Greasy Grass, or Little Bighorn, were unaware of Custer's troops approaching, They recovered quickly and chased some of the men across the river, and stampeded the others,  All the soldiers were killed, the Lakotas lost about 40 men. Watch today's recording here: https://www.youtube.com/live/g9TUa1Rwd6U?si=T8_KKcHQZElhpnZ-Get full, free access to Letters from an American here: https://heathercoxrichardson.substack.com/subscribeYou can also find me:Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/hcrichardson.bsky.socialInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/heathercoxrichardson/?hl=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/heathercoxrichardson/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@heathercoxrichardson Get full access to Letters from an American at heathercoxrichardson.substack.com/subscribe

For Nick Tedeschi, a great beer evokes memories, and the beer lineup at any of the Post's five Colorado locations is designed to feel familiar, whether you've ordered one there or not. Like the food and the environment, the intention is comfort, with beers designed to tuck into the experience rather than define it. But that doesn't mean they can't stand out on their own, and the World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival medals they've won—for dry stout, amber lager, cream ale, and malt liquor—speak to just how impactful these beers can be when made with care and intention. In this episode, Tedeschi discusses: medal-winning malt liquor with robust but refined flavor and low finishing gravity using the Andechs strain for expression and personality brewing single-infusion lagers with character consistently executing on fundamentals tweaking amber lager with locally produced Munich malt unexpected food-and-beer pairings selling beer through the food brewing 3.3 percent ABV beer with body and fullness using newer American hops with Noble-like qualities, such as Adeena And more. This episode is brought to you by: G&D Chillers A quick word for the brewers out there staring down a broken chiller. You know the pain—warm fermentors, stressed yeast, and that sinking feeling when the repair quote lands in your inbox. With refrigerant regulations changing and the cost of obsolete refrigerants skyrocketing, sometimes the fix costs more than the unit is worth. G&D Chillers is there to help, whether you're a small brew pub or large full-scale production brewery. Don't throw good money at bad equipment. Invest in a solution that grows with your brewery—and keeps your tanks cold when it counts. Big thanks to G&D Chillers for supporting this podcast since 2019. The series starts with a casual conversation with Ken Elliott and Rusty Peterson from IND HEMP in Montana about the conference itself and how it compares to hemp events back home. "The professionalism that they bring, the fact that they've been doing things instead of talking about things in Europe is a big difference," Elliott said. The Battle of the Little Bighorn is one of the most famous and most misunderstood events in American history. On June 25, 1876, Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer and roughly 210 men of his immediate command were wiped out along a ridge in southeastern Montana by a massive village of Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho fighting under Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse. But how did Custer really die? Did he go down fighting, was he killed trying to reach the river, or did he take his own life to avoid capture? And did the warriors who killed him even know who he was? Also discussed is the entire chain of events that led to Custer's Last Stand, from the Lakota claim to the sacred Black Hills and the broken Fort Laramie treaties, through Sand Creek, Red Cloud's War, and the Black Hills gold rush, to the three-column campaign of 1876.   00:00:00 Introduction

The U.S. is celebrating 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, but some Native Americans in the Mount Rushmore state are turning their focus to a different anniversary, as South Dakota Searchlight's Meghan O'Brien reports. Ben Jones is South Dakota's state historian. He also chairs the state's America 250 commission. He wants it to be an inclusive celebration. “There was just a strong desire personally, and I think among all the members of the commission, that we include everybody and everybody who lives in South Dakota to be a part of this.” But as July 4 nears, Trina Lone Hill (Oglala Sioux) is not planning to celebrate. “For me personally, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence is like a slap in the face.” Lone Hill is a former historic preservation officer for the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Now, she serves on its tribal council. The founding of the country meant lost land, language, and culture for Indigenous people. So Lone Hill's focus is on the 150th anniversary of the Battle of the Little Bighorn, the week before Independence Day. The conflict on June 25, 1876, was a major victory for the Northern Cheyenne, Arapaho, Lakota, and Dakota people. It happened during the United States' encroachment on their land, after the discovery of gold in the Black Hills. Lakota people know the conflict as the Battle of the Greasy Grass. Representatives of several tribes are working with the National Park Service to commemorate the anniversary at the battlefield in Montana. Lone Hill will be one of more than a dozen speakers at the three-day event. U.S. Rep. Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) holds a press conference on Monday, June 1, 2026, in Tucson., Ariz. The Indian Health Service (IHS) is preparing to close one of its three locations in Arizona. The agency says this is part of a plan to modernize operations and improve health outcomes. As KJZZ's Gabriel Pietrorazio reports, state Democrats are raising alarm. More than 28,000 patients depend on the Tucson, Ariz. area office, especially members from the Tohono O'odham Nation and Pascua Yaqui Tribe. It mostly handles administrative work, but is expected to merge with the IHS Phoenix office. That location is already responsible for 180,000 patients in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. “Consolidating one to another, you're going to have a disruption of service. Any cut is going to cause a delay.” State Rep. Brian Garcia (Pascua Yaqui/D-AZ) is concerned. So too is State Sen. Sally Ann Gonzales (Pascua Yaqui/D-AZ), who also chairs the Indigenous Peoples Caucus. “I've never been to that clinic, but I know that some of our members do, and I used to represent Tohono O'odham and it's in their San Javier District, so it's disheartening to learn of its closure.” Arizona state Democrats sent a letter to Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy earlier this month, urging him to halt the looming closure. The agency did not comment on the letter. Mark Cruz testified Wednesday before the U.S. Senate Indian Affairs Committee. The nominee to lead the IHS appeared before a U.S. Senate committee Wednesday. Mark Cruz (Klamath Tribes) answered questions from lawmakers on the Senate Indian Affairs Committee during his confirmation hearing to become the next IHS director. Cruz currently serves as senior advisor for Native Affairs at HHS. He told senators he would focus on strengthening tribal consultation, improving health care access, and addressing workforce shortages across Indian Country if confirmed. His nomination now moves forward in the Senate confirmation process. IHS provides care to about 2.8 million American Indians and Alaska Natives. Citizens of Lakota, Cheyenne, Arapaho, and other tribes are making their way to Montana to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of the Greasy Grass, also known as the Battle of the Little Bighorn. They are going there to mark a milestone for one of the most significant battles on U.S. soil. Many of them can directly trace their lineage to the warriors who were there. Among them is Jodi Rave Spotted Bear, whose great-great grandfather, Bear With Horns, died in the fight. His story was preserved by his younger sister Lucy Poor Buffalo, who was seven years old and witnessed the battle. Spotted Bear and others from the online news site, Buffalo's Fire, are collecting the stories in a Memorial Wall to pay tribute to the Native warriors. We'll hear from Spotted Bear and other descendants whose stories have been handed down over the generations. GUESTS Ernie LaPointe (Lakota), great-grandson of Sitting Bull and veteran Jodi Rave Spotted Bear (Mandan, Hidatsa and Mniconjou Lakota), executive director of the Indigenous Media Freedom Alliance and editor-in-chief of Buffalo’s Fire Donovin Sprague (Miniconjou Lakota), historian, archivist, and professor at Sheridan College Break 1 Music: Remembering The Warrior (song) Porcupine Singers (artist) Alowanpi – Songs Of Honoring – Lakota Classics: Past & Present, Vol. 1 (album) Break 2 Music: Feels Like [feat. Photo: A panoramic view of Monument Valley. (Gabriel Pietrorazio) The nation's 575 federally recognized tribes are now eligible for conservation grants from the National Park Service. And as KJZZ's Gabriel Pietrorazio reports, a new digital tool is designed to help them navigate the bureaucracy. The Land and Water Conservation Fund has been around since 1964. “It receives about $900 million each year from offshore oil and gas royalties – not taxpayer dollars – to support conservation and outdoor recreation nationwide. And yet, I had never heard of the program.” Starlyn Rose Miller is from the Little Shell Chippewa Tribe of Montana. She is with the nonprofit Wilderness Society, which launched the new online hub. “Tribal governments are so busy. We thought if we could put a hub up designed in partnership with Indigenous-led orgs, agencies, nonprofits, that it could be helpful.” The fund has aided more than 47,000 projects in nearly every county nationwide. Bethel siblings Vjosa Pellumbi, left, and Drini Pellumbi pose after winning the top prize at the UAF College of Business and Security Management’s Arctic Innovation Competition held at the 8 Star Events Center in Fairbanks on April 18, 2026. (Photo: Sarah Lewis / UAF) High energy costs are a fact of life in remote, rural Alaska with few easy answers. A brother and sister team from Bethel, Alaska recently won top honors at an innovation competition hosted from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. As KYUK's Evan Erickson reports, they are committed to being part of the solution. Fraternal twins Drini and Vjosa Pellumbi have more in common than the same birthday. So far, their education and career paths have followed side by side. The brother and sister graduated from high school with college credit gained through the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP) and are currently studying mechanical engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage. The Pellumbi twins are busy advancing a prototype of a device that attaches to home boilers and aims to reduce heating costs in cold-weather climates. Drini Pellumbi says their device essentially takes heat that would have been wasted by the boiler and just repurposes it to heat incoming water. Their Arctic Heat Recovery System design earned the top prize and $21,000 at the Alaska Innovation Competition hosted by the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The same day, Vjosa Pellumbi said the pair celebrated their 20th birthday. “It was such a whirlwind of emotions, because during the finals of that competition, we still had finals for our semester course, and you know we’re taking rigorous engineering courses, so stresses were high. It was just, it was a lot of good news that day.” This summer, the Pellumbis are both in Washington, D.C., interning with a wildlife conservation nonprofit. In their off-hours, they are plugging away at their prototype. Drini says the heat recovery concept is nothing new, but that it's so far been focused on large-scale commercial applications. “On my table right in front of me we have a couple thermocouples and sensors. We’re in two separate apartments, but we take turns, whose room carries all the junk. I guess a lot of people just don’t see a profit margin in developing it for Alaskan citizens, like residents, to use. We’re not really in it for the profit, we’re in it because it’s clean, it saves oil, it saves money, it saves pollutants from entering the atmosphere. Hopefully it’ll be good all around.” Friends and family in Bethel – where fuel prices have recently spiked due to the war in Iran – are eager to be the first to test the device. The Pellumbis say it has the potential to save homeowners thousands of dollars per year. They say the money they earned at this year's Arctic Innovation Competition is going directly into making the heat recovery system a reality. The second-generation Albanian-Americans credit their mother for pushing them to apply together for the competition. Vjosa says the parallel paths her and her brother have taken come down to family ties. “Within Albanian culture, one of the core values is being very family-oriented. So I guess that’s always been why we’ve gravitated towards doing the same things, because we've always been close.” Both say they could end up specializing in different engineering fields down the road. But for now, they say they're enjoying being a team as long as they can. Get National Native News delivered to your inbox daily. Sign up for our daily newsletter today. Driving home from a volunteer shift at the Old Salt Festival near Helmville, Montana, I listened to the last hour of the book The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. As I listened to the characters reflect on their lives to share with others via handwritten letter (and a few emails), I was reminded of the great conversation I shared on this podcast with Amy Daughters, author of Dear Dana. As I mentioned in last week's episode, I was recently inspired to change the format of this show. The new format for my show aligns with what I'm learning about narrative identity (how the stories we tell about ourselves internally and externally influence our identity) and what I'm learning about emotional intelligence through a course I'm taking. My hope is that future episodes will offer more clarity about great storytelling and how to  find and explore pivotal moments to demonstrate who we are. My future guests will be given a story prompt ahead of our call, and instead of a long, organic, multi-insight conversation, we'll dive more deeply into a single story, pulling a thread and revealing a primary insight about the experience, and leaving space for you – our listeners – to remember your own related experience and pull a thread that has the potential to guide you toward deeper self-awareness. I'll be eager to hear your thoughts about this new format, so please don't hesitate to send me a message via social media or email! In today's episode I'm sharing a story about a pivotal moment in my personal life, a long relationship that continues to influence my life and how I experience the world. Mentioned in this episode: The Correspondent by Virginia Evans Amy Daughters, author of Dear Dana, speaker, humorist Old Salt Festival, Helmville Montana Listeners, now it's your turn: Did my story remind you of something that happened to you? What memory popped into your head when you heard it? What did you learn about me as a person? Did my story inspire you to pick up a pen and leave a note for someone you care about? What's your related pivotal moment? This week's scriptures:Psalm 69v1-15Matthew 10v16-42No sooner does Jesus call people to humbly serve than he warns them that reality may not match their expectations. Motivated by genuine love, eager to be kind and peace-loving, they should anticipate disappointment—if not outright persecution. While he says little about their impending successes, Jesus is candid about their looming struggles. It reads as both a fair warning and a vital reminder: “I signed up to be faithful, not to guarantee certain results.” Perhaps all who set out to serve—to lay down their lives for the sake of others—would do well to revisit Jesus' honest caution. There will be difficult times. There will be times when our efforts are misunderstood, when the good we hope to do is received not as kindness, but as the embodiment of evil.

Almost everyone heading into face lift surgery worries about the line in front of the ear. But the cuts everywhere else around it are arguably more challenging. Dr. Bass and Dr. Kylie Edinger walk through every cut made during a facelift — from the sideburn and hairline above the ear, down through or in front of the tragus, around the earlobe, behind the ear, and back into the hairline of the neck. Each location has at least two viable variations, and which one a surgeon picks depends on whether the lift is focused on the midface or the jawline and neck, the thickness of the skin, how someone tends to scar, and even how they wear their hair. They cover why men with thicker pre-tragal skin often get a different cut than women, how a retrotragal incision hides better but risks blunting the tragus, why an anterior hairline cut can be made oblique to let hair grow through and disguise the scar, what causes the pixie ear deformity at the earlobe, and how scars mature over a full year with help from silicone gels, anti-inflammatory injections, and lasers. The scar you end up with is mostly about your genetics. The surgeon's job is to place each line where it belongs, sew it with finesse, and have the full revision toolkit ready if any of them need help along the way. About Dr. Kylie Edinger Dr. Kylie Edinger is a plastic surgeon practicing in Bozeman, Montana. During the creation of this facelift series, she was training as an aesthetic plastic surgery fellow with Dr. Bass and a host of other world class plastic surgeons at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York City. Part of the prestigious Northwell Health program, this is one of the top aesthetic plastic surgery fellowships in the country. Where are facelift incisions actually placed around the ear? 2. What's the difference between a pre-tragal and retro-tragal facelift incision? 3. Why do men often need a different facelift incision than women? 4. What is a pixie ear deformity and how do surgeons prevent it? 5. How does a facelift incision change for a midface lift versus a neck lift? 6. What is the submental incision and why is it part of a facelift? 7. How long does it take for facelift scars to fade? 8. Can lasers, silicone gels, and injections improve a healing facelift scar? 9. What facelift incision options are there for bald men or men with very short hair? 10. Can the same incisions be reused for a revision facelift years later? About Dr. Lawrence Bass Innovator. Industry veteran. In-demand Park Avenue board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Lawrence Bass is a true master of his craft, not only in the OR but as an industry pioneer in the development and evaluation of new aesthetic technologies. There’s a certain type of person who can’t half-ass anything. The kind of guy who decides to climb the Grand Teton on a whim, rappels off a sheer face having never rappelled before, canyoneers into some of the most remote slot canyons in the American Southwest, and packs mules solo through the dark at midnight to make the opener. Justin Helvik is that guy — and somehow, impossibly, he’s also a 20-year educator who coached high school football and showed up Monday morning with a collapsed lung and six broken ribs, insisting everything was fine. Justin and I go way back. He was with me on one of my early bear hunts. I helped him build the pole barn that would eventually house the mules he didn’t own yet. Life moves fast when you’re the kind of person who’s always got the next adventure already on the calendar. In this episode, Justin breaks down his unconventional path from desk jockey to legitimate mountain mule skinner — and I mean that in the best possible way. We talk about what drove a guy with zero ranch background to go all in on mule packing, the gnarly wreck on a Montana mountain goat hunt that left him with a punctured lung and broken ribs (and how his mule, Bella, somehow knew he was hurt and carried him out of the backcountry gently), and what it actually feels like to go from being intimidated by stock animals to packing 80 miles through the Yellowstone Thoroughfare. But this conversation goes deeper than mules. We get into the philosophy of adventure — what it means to chase that feeling of uncomfortable, why comfort might actually be the most dangerous thing you can do to yourself, and how stacking experiences over a lifetime is the only real way to build confidence that transfers everywhere. Justin talks about identity, ego, legacy, and what Lonesome Dove’s Augustus McCrae got right about living versus dying. He’s also got a Substack — From Desk Jockey to Mule Skinner — that I’d encourage every one of you to go read. He’s a great writer, and the stories are even better on the page. If you’ve ever thought about getting into pack stock, or you’re someone who’s wired to always be pushing the next limit, this one’s for you. Comfort is the real killer — not the mountains. Justin makes the point that denying yourself the adventures you’re wired for is a slow death from the inside. It’s not just a mindset cliché — he’s seen it play out in his own life. When he’s not planning something that makes him a little nervous, he loses motivation everywhere else: at work, at home, as a father. The takeaway for listeners isn’t to go do something reckless. It’s to identify your version of “uncomfortable” and book it. Put it in the calendar. Then don’t cancel. 2. Stack experiences, not just kills. One of the most practical threads in this whole conversation is the concept of experience stacking — the idea that every micro-adventure you complete is compounding interest on your confidence. Justin didn’t go from zero to packing 80 miles through the Yellowstone Thoroughfare overnight. He stacked years of backcountry hunting, mule rides with friends, short overnighters, and hard lessons (including that ER visit) until the big trips felt like a natural next step. If you’re waiting until you’re “ready” to do the hunt of a lifetime, you’ll wait forever. Start smaller, go often, and let the experiences compound. 3. The anticipation is half the experience — book the trip. Justin and Cody dig into something that doesn’t get talked about enough in the hunting world: the happiness that comes from having something on the calendar to look forward to. Science backs this up — humans are wired to find joy in anticipation. The planning, the e-scouting, the gear lists, the late-night what-ifs with your buddy — that’s not just prep, that’s part of the experience itself. Don’t wait for the perfect conditions or the perfect budget. Book it now, figure it out along the way, and let yourself enjoy the countdown.

David Baker talks about why investing in undeveloped land may be the secret strategy you've been waiting for. We also discuss why water rights may become one of the most valuable assets in the coming decades and how growing water scarcity is driving demand for land with access to water. Drawing on his background as a hedge fund manager, real estate investor, and founder of the Land Value Alpha Fund, David explained how water rights work, particularly in Montana, where groundwater and surface water rights can significantly increase property values. He highlighted research suggesting that investments in water infrastructure such as wells, pumps, storage systems, and distribution networks can generate substantial returns, while increasing demand for water, energy, and developable land is creating a powerful convergence that could push land prices much higher over time.  We discuss...  Why water scarcity is becoming a growing global issue and increasing the value of water-rich land. How groundwater and surface water rights work, particularly in Montana. The unique advantages of Montana as a headwater state that supplies water to much of the western United States. How property owners can develop wells and water infrastructure to increase the value of their land. Research suggesting that investments in water infrastructure can generate significant returns relative to their cost. Why water rights are becoming increasingly important for homeowners, farmers, developers, and businesses. How increasing demand for water and developable land could drive land prices substantially higher in the future. The relationship between land ownership and water access, and why water often determines a property's long-term value. Examples of investors and institutions acquiring land specifically for its water resources. How water banks allow water rights to be leased, traded, and allocated among different users. The challenges surrounding water allocation and legal rights in regions facing water shortages. Why desalination has not been adopted more broadly despite its potential to address water shortages. Real-world examples of water rights mistakes that can create major problems for landowners and developers. Why understanding local regulations is critical when investing in land and water resources. Invasive species aren't usually something to celebrate, because they can wreak havoc on native ecosystems in ways impossible to undo. But other invaders have gotten a much warmer welcome. One listener wonders why some non-native species – like brown trout and rainbows – are so valued in Montana.

"As a result, less income tax will be paid on Social Security benefits, and the OASI and DI Trust Funds will receive lower levels of revenue in the future from income taxation of Social Security benefits." Cyberdyne - Anthropic announced Claude Fable 5, a Mythos-class model that will be available to its enterprise customers and paid subscribers. - The company unveiled Mythos in April and has limited the rollout because of its advanced cybersecurity capabilities. - Anthropic said Claude Fable 5?s broad release is possible because of new safeguards that block responses in specific high-risk areas. - WAIT! The Devil's Ledger | Week of June 15th, 2026 This week on The Devil's Ledger, we begin with something that feels almost surreal—the New York Knicks are World Champions. A long-awaited moment for a franchise and a fanbase that has carried decades of hope, frustration, and belief. From the Canyon of Heroes to living rooms across the country, this is more than a title—it's a moment etched into the mythology of New York sports. The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week A moment in time that may not have moved the way it should have. We revisit Game 3 of the 1999 Eastern Conference Finals, when Larry Johnson stepped to the line for one of the most iconic plays in Knicks history. But for those who were there, the memory isn't just the shot—it's what happened right before it. A strange thinning of sound. A collective pause. A sense that something had aligned just long enough for the outcome to land exactly where it was supposed to. Was it pressure? Adrenaline? Or something harder to explain? On The Devil Within We launch a brand-new summer series: Campfire Files: Stories That Follow Us Home These aren't distant legends or secondhand stories. These are grounded, firsthand accounts that begin in the places we trust the most—campgrounds, lakes, beaches, and vacation homes. We start in the Great Smoky Mountains, where a family trip turns into something far more unsettling. What begins as a quiet weekend in the woods slowly reveals something that doesn't behave the way it should—and doesn't stay where it started. We'll be here all summer, exploring encounters that begin in familiar places and follow people long after they leave. On Criminal Mischief Carolyn Ossorio returns with another sharp, unsettling look at the human condition—where ambition, envy, and pressure collide in ways that feel all too recognizable. These are the kinds of stories that happen more often than we'd like to admit—and still manage to surprise us every time. On The Culture of Criminal Cool Season One has wrapped, but the story may not be over. There are whispers of additional material, extended interviews, and possibly even new conversations with Adam Diaz. Nothing confirmed yet—but enough to keep your attention. On The Slippery This week's episode dives into the disturbing case of Dr. Thomas Weiner, once one of the most respected oncologists in Helena, Montana. What begins as the story of a trusted medical figure quickly unravels into something far darker, centered around a patient treated for over a decade for a disease they never had. As the investigation deepens, the image of a respected doctor begins to fracture—revealing patterns that raise troubling questions about trust, oversight, and how something like this could go on for so long. This Week in Horror A new film out of Norway taps into one of the oldest and most enduring myths: Kraken Strange behavior in marine life. Unexplained deaths in deep water. And the suggestion that something ancient has resurfaced. It's a return to elemental horror—vast, unknowable, and just beneath the surface.
