With Paul Ollinger | Comedian | Speaker | Host at 'Reasonably Happy' Podcast | Summary: In this episode, Paul Ollinger shares heartfelt lessons about money, happiness, and fulfillment, inspired by his father's example of frugality and contentment. Growing up in a large family, Paul reflects on how humour became a survival tool, fostering connection and resilience, and how it later shaped his career in comedy. He explores the role of laughter and joy in creating a meaningful life, highlighting how happier people often make better money decisions. Paul also examines the tension between chasing financial success and finding balance, offering insights into the difference between desire and compulsion in the pursuit of wealth. Through stories of gratitude, self-awareness, and aligning career choices with personal values, Paul provides fresh perspectives on the connection between humour, happiness, and financial well-being. BIO:After 15 years in sales at companies like Yahoo! and Facebook, Paul Ollinger left the corporate world to pursue comedy, performing at top clubs like Carolines on Broadway and Zanies, and sharing stages with stars like Norm Macdonald and Chelsea Handler. He hosts the Reasonably Happy podcast, exploring the connection between money, happiness, and meaning with guests like Judd Apatow, LL COOL J, and Nobel Prize winners. Paul's collection of essays, Reasonably Happy, was released October 2024. He lives in New York City with his wife, two teenagers, and their French bulldogs, Theo and Colonel Tom Parker. Highlights: The best money lessons often come from family. Frugality can bring both security and peace of mind. Humor can help navigate chaos and foster resilience. True happiness isn't tied to wealth; it's about defining 'enough.' Career choices should reflect your passions and values. Gratitude and self-awareness are essential for fulfillment. Meaningful experiences matter more than material possessions. Personal choices and reflection shape our relationship with money. Comparing yourself to others hinders happiness. Life's challenges and joys are both part of the journey. Quotes: "How much is enough?" "You have to be eminently unreasonable." "I wouldn't trade my life for your billions." "Life is 80% good stuff and 20% bullshit." Links: Paul's Book: Reasonably Happy: Essays on Money, Work and Other Things that Piss Me Off Paul Ollinger's Website: CLICK HERE

Send us a textIn this episode, I speak with Amy Lenius on the topic of self belief, self worth and core values.★ Amy's Bio: ★ After dealing with chronic illness from a young age and going through the journey of learning to heal not only inside, but also outside (which will always be a never ending journey!)has helped me to become the empowered and passionate woman I am today. My healing journey lead me to discover and embody the abundance of a holistic lifestyle. I have learned the power of understanding the importance of your internal environment and how it reflects outwardly and how your external environment deeply affects your internal world. We can not compartmentalize ourselves into believing that all the parts of our lives and the different hats that we wear don't have an affect on the others. All this work has also taught me that we are all in our own unique version of this. YOU as the incredible individual that you are is unique. Which means in order to thrive you need to not only discover what words like health, success, peace, purpose, fulfillment and abundance mean to you, you need to own that and learn to thrive from that space. Holistic healing, holistic self improvement, self awareness and learning to build my self-belief and self-worth have all been pillars in my journey and I am dedicated to guiding others in doing the same. My passion is speaking into others lives and facilitating a space to help others lean into their own unique version of holistic peace, purpose and potential!Connect with Amy:https://www.facebook.com/groups/thenextlevelnationhttps://www.nextleveluniverse.com/group-coaching/
In today's episode, I sat down with Braxton Wood, a homeschooled maverick who's rewriting the rulebook on education and career success. Without a high school diploma or college degree, Braxton shared how he climbed from recession-era collections work to a coveted tech company gig, all by "betting on himself." We dove into his DIY approach to learning – think marketing seminars in libraries with four attendees and an iMac for a projector – and how it shaped his "fail fast, fail cheap" philosophy. Braxton's take on the industrial roots of our education system had me rethinking everything I thought I knew about schooling. Between chuckles over his oil field mishaps and insights on embracing ambition, I couldn't help but wonder: could Braxton's unconventional wisdom spark a revolution in how we approach personal and professional growth?Bio: After going from a homeschool background with zero formal education to a prestigious role at a techgiant, I developed a framework for The Perfect Job Hunt. My career method has helped professionalssecure interviews with 80% of the companies they apply to, and I've successfully guided clients suchas Hollywood Producers, Vice Presidents, and Chief Officers to land positions making gobs moremoney and even work from home.Website

Do voices in your head guide your waking life? Inner Wisdom Figures and Internal Family Systems. Inner exploration with today’s guest Charles Tack. Charles describes Internal Family Systems as a way of building relationships with the different voices inside ourselves, many of whom came from the cultural and familial messages that we grew up with. He then describes what he calls Inner Wisdom Figures, which are inner characters who seem to be a few steps of development ahead of where we are in waking life. Charles describes how to engage with both of these kinds of inner voices through what Jung describes as active imagination. Charles also describes how he uses I Ching as part of inner work, and we end with a discussion of how to move toward joy and radiance. BIO: After years of facilitating groups and coaching clients to improve, Charles realized that he was only superficially successful. More importantly, he didn't enjoy what he advocated for. That began a decades-long inquiry that led to an ever-increasing appreciation for our child-like aspects, greater access to holistic, wisdom influences and more embodied joy. In this episode, you'll also hear:The importance of obeying God's call, even if you don't think you're qualifiedHow God supplied “manna” for Jeaninne during her writing journeyHow to write your story in a way that helps people connect with itWhy Jeaninne refers to writing as a ministryWhat kind of writers this world needs right nowJeaninne's advice on returning to your “burning bush” for renewal and motivation when the journey gets toughObeying the Call to LeaveIn her book Lessons from the Writing Wilderness, Jeaninne Stokes shares the story of leaving her full-time job to pursue a ministry in writing — or, as she puts it, “leaving the ‘Egypt,' if you will, of my career, journeying through the wilderness of preparation, and then finally entering my promised land to become an author.”Jeaninne says she truly loved her job at the time. So when she first heard God calling her to leave, she ignored the prompting for about a year. But God kept trying to get her attention. From an audible voice telling her it was time to go to the words “never be afraid to give up the good to go for the great” mysteriously appearing on her computer screen, the nudges from God became too obvious for her to continue ignoring them. Despite not knowing why God wanted her to leave her job — or what she was supposed to do once she left — Jeaninne obeyed. Now, she encourages others to be obedient to God's call, even if it doesn't seem to make sense. “God will not reveal anything else to you as to what He wants you to do until you take that first step of obedience,” she explains. “And that's what I had to do.”Preparing in the WildernessAfter taking that first step of obedience, Jeaninne found herself at home alone, uncertain of what to do next. But that alone time allowed her to ask God for guidance and to listen for His answer. “When you make yourself an available instrument,” she says now, “God will start speaking and making His plans known.”The first answer Jeaninne received was to get up at 4:00 AM every morning, go to her office, read the story of Moses and the Israelites, and write down the lessons she learned from it. Only after she obeyed this call did Jeaninne begin to understand the purpose for it. “God started speaking to me and saying, ‘I'm having you read this because you're going to be going on a similar journey. I've called you out of your Egypt and put you into the wilderness to prepare for a writing ministry,'” Jeaninne recalls. Although she didn't necessarily want to undergo this “wilderness” period of preparation, Jeaninne came to understand over time that it was necessary. “Before you can do anything great, you've got to prepare for that great,” she explains. For Jeaninne, preparation meant not only becoming a better writer, but also growing in her faith and learning to trust in God's provision and guidance. She didn't consider herself qualified for ministry, but as she continued to follow God's leading, He continued to provide exactly what she needed for each day — just as He provided food and water for the Israelites in the wilderness. Learning to Be VulnerableAlthough Jeaninne had written numerous devotionals, Lessons from the Writing Wilderness was especially challenging to write, because it required her to be more vulnerable and transparent in her writing than ever before. Sharing her personal struggles and hardships with the world was difficult — but it was also important.“I came to realize that people need to hear your story,” she says. “People connect with your story.” Through transparently sharing the story of her writing journey, Jeaninne has been able to help others who are going through similar “wilderness” experiences by offering them hope and encouragement. It was a difficult journey, but Jeaninne says that once her book was finished, she felt a strong sense of closure and relief. “I felt like I had given birth, and that I was now able to really go out and help other aspiring Christian writers,” she adds.Understanding the Ministry of WritingFor many people, ministry is something that happens from the pulpit of a church or out on the streets. But, as Jeaninne has learned, writing can be a powerful ministry as well. What's more, Jeaninne argues that writing is an essential ministry.“The world needs good writers,” she says. “The world needs people who are willing to write from God's perspective and not our own, in light of the hope and hurt and all that's going on in our world. God calls people He wants to use to write, to share His Word, to spread His gospel. And it took me a while to understand that if I'm doing that as a writer, then that is my pulpit.” As writers, we can share the good news of Jesus with a much wider audience than we might otherwise be able to reach. So it's vital that we obey God's calling on our lives and write the message He has given us to share with the world around us. After all, if He can use ordinary people to write the Bible itself, what might He use your written words to accomplish?Returning to the Burning BushMaybe you, like Jeaninne, have felt God tugging at your heart to pursue a ministry in writing, but you're hesitating to obey the call. If that's you, Jeaninne advises following the example of Moses. Go back to your “burning bush” moment and remind yourself that God has called you to do this — and He'll provide the ability and resources if you will just take that first step of obedience. “You're going to have your doubts, you're going to have your struggles,” Jeaninne says in closing. “But you have to go back to the burning bush, to remind yourself of the call that God has placed upon your life, and find a renewal there.” BIO:After beginning her career in higher education and on the trajectory to retire, Jeaninne's life was going the way she planned it until she heard the call to step away to prepare for a career in ministry as a Christian author and Bible-teacher. In 2002 Jeaninne answered the call. She took a leap of faith and left her career to prepare for a new career in ministry as a Christian author, speaker and Bible-teacher. After a season of preparation, in 2015 she founded JStokes Writing Ministries and began her writing ministry by publishing her first book, Living by Faith, a collection of inspirational poetry. Since the publication of her first book, she has authored four more books. Jeaninne has also written numerous devotions and articles and her writings have been published in Cross and Quill, The Christian Communicator, Harmony on the Go and Christian Woman Today Online. In 2009, she founded Inspiration for Living Ministries, her ministry platform where she walks out her calling as a Bible-teacher offering books, keynote messages and other inspirational resources to help people grow in their walk with the Lord.Combining her experience and background as a former educator and her passion to help others being called to the ministry of writing like she was called to do, in 2012 Jeaninne also launched Writing For Him, a ministry designed to help prepare aspiring Christian authors to write and publish for the Christian marketplace. Her service offerings include personal coaching, workshops and keynote messages for Christian writing conferences.Jeaninne's formal education includes a B.B.A in Business Administration from the University of North Texas and a M.Ed in General Education from Texas Christian University. She is a self-taught writer and her training to write professionally included attending numerous writing conferences, participating in several online classes, reading books on the craft, studying the writings of great Christian authors, and the daily practice of writing to perfect her craft.Jeaninne resides in Arlington, TX with her husband and two young adult children. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, reading, watching old movies, listening to old school music and rooting for her favorite professional football team. INTRO Adrian Huxley is a counsellor and psychotherapist living in beautiful West Somerset. He is also the owner of West Somerset Counselling which he formed some eight years ago CONTENT Both Adrian and I have talked to many clients who have been taken care of as children, in as much as they have been fed and clothed, but they have missed out on their emotional needs – they haven't been loved in the way they should have. This has impacted their adult relationships, because they just don't know how to do it. They close up, they find it difficult, or they act inappropriately, believing sex equals love for example. But the bottom line is – it's not your fault, listen in to hear the reasons why. BIO After a life where I had known dark and unhappy times, I arrived in West Somerset 14 years ago. I met my second wife soon after arriving and we settled down together and had 12 happy years of marriage. I sadly lost her in 2020 but I was lucky to have the support of special friends and family. I am now beginning the next stage of my life, I'm not sure what that will involve but then, finding out is what will make it fun. Recently we had a fascinating conversation with Helen Zuman. Bio:After graduating from Harvard in 1999, Helen Zuman joined a cult—oops!—stayed for five years, then composted the stinky guck of that experience into fertile soil via Mating in Captivity, her award-winning memoir. Next, she published What Is a Sex Cult? How Cults Reveal Our Culture. As of 2023, she is working on a novel, provisionally titled Common App, in which a college application essay editor compromises the Republicrat candidate's chances of winning the 2024 presidential election by taking creative license with his son's Common App Personal Statement. Born in London and raised in Brooklyn, Helen currently homesteads with her husband in Beacon, New York, while dreaming of her next trip to Scotland. BIO: After poor experiences with the financial industry early in his professional life, Chris Mamula educated himself in investing and tax planning.STORY: Because Chris trusted his parents, he also blindly trusted their financial advisor. It was only after he stumbled upon better financial advice that Chris realized he'd wasted well over $100,000 in fees and another $100,000 in taxes.LEARNING: Gain financial literacy and take responsibility for your financial situation. Don't trust financial advisors blindly. “The less money you spend on your financial advice and financial products, the more money you'll have to invest.”Chris Mamula Guest profileAfter poor experiences with the financial industry early in his professional life, Chris Mamula educated himself in investing and tax planning. He now draws on his experiences to write and speak about wealth building, investing, financial planning, financial independence and early retirement (FIRE), and lifestyle design at the blog “Can I Retire Yet?”.Chris is also the primary author of the book ChooseFI: Your Blueprint to Financial Independence. In addition, he works one-on-one with those looking to improve their finances and use them to create a better lifestyle as an advice-only financial planner with Abundo Wealth.Worst investment everChris was a college graduate with a master's degree starting to learn how to make and spend money. Like many people, he was overwhelmed and intimidated by the technical parts of finance, investing, and tax planning. The advice Chris would hear everywhere was; if you need help, seek a recommendation from someone you trust. So he went to his parents, whom he trusted more than anyone else. Chris's parents were generally decent with their money as far as stretching a paycheck, managing a budget, and taking care of their children's needs.Chris didn't realize that his parents used a financial advisor because they had no idea what they were doing. And because Chris trusted them so much, he started using the same advisor and blindly trusted everything he told him—no questions asked. After a decade of this, Chris finally stumbled into some better investment advice and found out all the mistakes he had made. He realized that over a decade, he had wasted well over $100,000 in fees and another $100,000 in taxes. Because he'd started it so early in life, it could easily be a million-dollar mistake when you compound it over time.Lessons learnedSo many conflicts with financial advice exist, so you can't blindly trust anyone. When looking for an advisor, ask as many questions as possible. What does this person know well? Is there a conflict between your interest and theirs? Are you getting the best advice?Gain financial literacy and take responsibility for your financial situation.Andrew's takeawaysInvesting is actually quite simple, but financial professionals often make it complicated.Never invest in anything that somebody calls you about.A piece of advice could work for someone but not necessarily for you.You have the right to ask for further clarification if you don't understand the fees you're being charged.Actionable...

After serving as LimeWire's CFO for his last four years there, he joined the D. E. Shaw Group as the controller of the research division that builds supercomputers to revolutionize drug discovery. From the beginning, Jesse's interest in technology led him to automate financial operations, first with spreadsheets, then Perl, and most recently Python. He founded FinOptimal to help QuickBooks Online-based businesses streamline their financial operations, optimizing value-per-dollar with an outsourced accounting service heavily focused on automation. Jesse has bachelor's degrees from UPENN and Wharton, and an MBA from Columbia, and he lives in Houston with his wife and three children. BIO: After starting his career at Bear Stearns and then co-founding a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund firm, Jesse Felder left Wall Street to focus his energies on research and writing. Today he publishes The Felder Report and hosts the Superinvestors podcast.STORY: Jesse found a cigar butt stock that was cheap and performed extraordinarily well in just a few months after he took a pretty sizable position. A friend convinced him to hold the stock long-term instead of short-term as he had planned. Government legislation affected the business, and Jesse lost about 50% of his investment.LEARNING: Don't rationalize a bad trade; get out. Be very careful when you're in a situation that's being primed by the government. “When you're in a situation that's not working out as you would hope, rather than dig the hole deeper, move on and find something different.”Jesse Felder Guest profileAfter starting his career at Bear Stearns and then co-founding a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund firm, Jesse Felder left Wall Street to focus his energies on research and writing. Today he publishes The Felder Report and hosts the Superinvestors podcast.Worst investment everAbout 10 years ago, Jesse came across an idea that seemed to tick all the boxes for a cheap stock. It looked really compelling. The company was Corinthian College, a for-profit college in the US. The company was a reputable business and had excellent profit margins. The stock was trading about three times the cash flow. From a technical standpoint, the stock seemed like it would turn around positively, so Jesse took a pretty sizable position. The stock did nothing for the next couple of months. However, it took off the following year and doubled in a very short period. In fact, it went 150-200% up. All along, Jesse knew this was a cigar butt stock, and the plan was to hold it short-term.One of Jesse's friends, whom he was managing money for at the time, called him and said he'd never owned a stock that performed so well in such a short period. The friend asked Jesse to hold the stock for at least a year. Initially, Jesse wanted to take the profits. After his friend's call, he rationalized why he should keep it longer. Jesse held on to it and kept monitoring it.As time passed, it became clear that the Obama administration would limit for-profit colleges' ability to offer government-subsidized student loans. This was essentially a death knell for these companies. If their students couldn't get debt financing to pay tuition, they would go out of business because that was 90% of the people borrowing money to pay tuition. Jesse naively thought there was no way the government would put an entire industry segment out of business.Jesse kept holding on to the stock and reinvested all of the gains. The stock went down about 50% below Jesse's purchase price. He finally sold the stock before the company went out of business. This ended up being one of the worst losses that Jesse has taken as an investor.Lessons learnedDon't let your thesis migrate. You need to remember why you bought something and always ask yourself if it's working out how you anticipated it.Don't rationalize a lousy trade; get out.Never underestimate the government's willingness to put an entire industry out of business if it serves a political or economic purpose.Ego has no place in investing. 3.23 Financially Free at Thirty Three w/ Guest Andrew Logan Andrew and I talk about choices, about habits, about financial and life maths, and so much more in today's episode! Andrew shares his story of going from a very "successful" (by most people's standard) career, to choosing into things that weren't easy, but that would pay off in the long run. What have you done that you are glad you did years later? Will what you're doing now pay you in 10 years? Or will you be paying for it in 10 years? We talk a lot about perceptions of money and how at the end of the day, money is a magnifier, it allows people to do more of what they would be doing if they didn't have money. We go deep on the things I mentioned already, habits, choices, and the maths of life. How have you been able to use money to magnify who you are? What habits are you building now for your future self to enjoy the fruits of? Be sure to listen to today's episode and check out Andrew's website to connect with him and learn more about how you can become financially free. Remember, you can rewrite your stars and choose the life you want tomorrow, today; and once you do the work, you'll reap the rewards! Today's Sponsor: Starlight Mentoring, https://www.starlightmentoring.com/ Guest's Bio: After graduating from University as a Physiotherapist in 2004, Andrew Logan was following the traditional path – get a good job, progress into small business, buy some investment properties, retire with a nice nest egg. But the further he was going down the path, the more he started to question its viability. The traditional path was a well-trodden path, but not one that would provide a lifestyle of financial freedom and travel. This began a decade long search for a way out of the rat race, eventually hitting his goal of being Financially Free at 33. HOW TO GIVE OR RECEIVE SUPPORT DURING CRISIS. TODAY I have with me Kim Hamer. Things were going well in Kim's marriage, and tag team parenting, when suddenly the cancer diagnosis came. Her husband fought hard, winning an all clear, but not without complications. Then the cancer returned, this time claiming her husband's life. A young widow left to deal with the loss while raising 3 young kids Kim learned how powerful good support is AND the pain of when it's missing, or not very helpful. Now she's a speaker and the author of 100 Acts of Love: A Girlfriend's Guide to Loving Your Friend through Cancer or Loss. Bio: After the death of her husband, Kim Hamer, an HR leader, noticed how little guidance leaders received when navigating cancer, health crisis, or death on their team. She knew their lack of knowledge negatively affected morale, employee engagement, and productivity. She set out to change that. Combining her personal experience with her professional knowledge and leadership skills, Kim launched her business to support leaders and coworkers when cancer (or any health crisis) affects a team member. Kim Hamer is the author of 100 Acts of Love: A Girlfriend's Guide to Loving Your Friend through Cancer or Loss, an easy-to-read book filled with 100 practical, quick, and effective ways to support a friend or coworker. She's also an HR leader and speaker who lives in Los Angeles where she tries not to bother her relatively well-behaved college-aged children. https://www.100actsoflove.com/ https://www.instagram.com/100actsoflove/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/kimthamer https://www.100actsoflove.com/shop Resources https://daniellebernock.com/ https://clarity.fm/daniellebernock https://www.daniellebernock.com/coaching/ Additional resources: Books: Emerging With Wings https://amzn.to/3Qm4aQw Because You Matter https://amzn.to/3oUnxEt Socials: https://www.facebook.com/daniellebernock/ https://www.instagram.com/dbernock/ https://www.youtube.com/c/DanielleBernockLovesYou https://twitter.com/DBernock https://www.linkedin.com/in/danielle-bernock-6ab50467/ https://www.tiktok.com/@dbernock #11 on Feedspot: https://blog.feedspot.com/overcoming_adversity_podcasts/ Want to be a guest? https://podmatch.com/signup/fromdanielle Some links I use are affiliate links where I earn a small commission at no cost to you. Join Bishop Dudley and Dr. Marty K. Casey on this new podcast episode! How do you overcome hurt, disappointment, trauma and bounce back to a place of purpose? Dr Casey has the answers and techniques to move you pass hurt into being a hero to yourself and others who look to you for leadership. She brings all her past as actress, activist, personal coach and many awards from Presidential to regional to bear to elevate you into the leader you are called to be. BIO: After more than three decades as a performing artist on major global stages, Marty K. Casey, has transformed her craft beyond the world of entertainment to show the restorative power of the arts to heal hurting people. In 2020, just days before a forced lock down caused by a global pandemic, Dr. Casey performed her one-woman show in the Big Apple for the largest non-profit nation-wide, AARP New York. Casey brilliantly used the story of her own trauma-ridden life to give hope to a sold-out crowd. This performance shined the light on arts efficacy as a tool for mitigating trauma impact. Following her New York show, the close of theatres throughout the world brought an abrupt halt to Casey's live performances, a pivotal moment that prompted Dr. Casey to relaunch her artistic focus to address a more pressing societal need: trauma impact resolution. Toward this end, Casey leveraged the ARTS for therapeutic purposes, and in 2020, she founded UnGun® Institute, where the display of synergy between applied arts and trauma healing could be maximized and experienced by the masses. In the span of just two years, Dr. Casey and her Team have presented UnGun® workshops for organizations such as Preferred Family Healthcare (St. Louis, MO); St. Louis Public Schools (St. Louis, MO); Blessed are the Peace Makers and National Black Police Association (Dallas, TX); The Peace Center (Bathe, Maine); St. Louis Service Women's Post 404 (St. Louis, MO), To date, nearly 10,000 people have been positively impacted by UnGun® methodology and strategies. An ode to her entertainment roots and with expected impact on the entertainment industry, UnGun® products have been numerously featured inside the Gifting Suites of the Oscars and the Emmy Awards. Her message of healing and now her trademarked UnGun® approach for mitigating the impact of trauma have landed Dr. Casey on stages beyond the theatre to broader spaces that include government, education, business, healthcare, and community-based sectors. She has represented the UnGun® Institute as a featured presenter for the Parliament of the World's Religion Global Conference; World Unity Week; World Peace Week; Alex Haley Museum; American Voice Foundation; General Congress of Women; African American Museum; Chosen for Change Foundation; The Michael O.D. Brown Foundation; and Shoot for the Stars Foundation (Hip Hop Artist Pop Smoke Memorial Foundation) to name a few. Featured on the cover of the St. Louis Business Journal, Dr. Casey is lauded as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Businesswomen in St. Louis. In 2021, she received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award signed by President Joseph R. Biden. Dr. Casey actively serves on the Grants Council for PurposeEarth.com in alignment with her mission to heal communities through the empowerment of recovery through expressive arts. Globally recognized as a transformational trauma coach, Dr. Marty K. As women, there is so much that we experience in our bodies throughout the course of our lives that feels out of our control. And how we are socialized can impact our narrative of how we view natural occurring processes such as menstruation and menopause. When we are raised with a narrative of “this sucks” or fearing “the big change” it will impact how we relate to these biological and necessary shifts in our bodies. In this conversation with Ruth Jamieson, who is a nutritional therapist and functional medicine practitioner, we talk about the experience that she went through in perimenopause that lead her to seeking more information not only about her own body, but how to guide women in increasing great awareness and understanding of their own bodies, as well as ways they could soften their shifts into perimenopause and menopause. This helpful and insightful conversation will help any woman to feel more empowered about how to take more control over their overall health. Hint: diet and lifestyle are almost always the answer! Bio: After failing to get answers for some unusual symptoms in her early 40s, Ruth discovered they were related to Perimenopause. Her own journey and research into this very important and natural phase of a woman's life, opened her eyes to a whole world of unnecessary suffering and lack of support for women going through perimenopause. Knowing from her own experience that it needn't be this way, she felt compelled to help women change the perimenopause narrative, and navigate through perimenopause naturally with cutting edge hormone testing, diet, lifestyle, and natural supplements. She is a women's health and hormones expert, the founder of Empowered Wellness her online clinic supporting women 1-2-1, and her Menopause Matters and Magic group coaching membership, helping women in their 40s and 50s sail smoothly through perimenopause so they can feel better than ever, and live a life they love.
