Long time no talk! By talk, we mean screaming into the void. Put your headphones on -- we have a lot of catching up to do. We know. We disappeared. But like any good ghosting situation, we're returning with no explanation… except an entire episode of explanations. In our first episode since January, we blow the dust off our mics and confront who we thought we were before life sideswiped us with plot twists, spiritual detours, and 47 new existential crises. This comeback episode is equal parts cute and chaotic. Featuring six semi-structured segments (plus a fully unhinged AI narrator for no good reason whatsoever), we reflect on how we've changed since January, chew on the ways the world has changed, and hopefully we also make you feel a little bit better if your current bar for thriving is "I cried, but I scheduled it." Let's all trauma dump together into the abyss and hope the abyss claps back with some clarity, shall we? We're back. We missed you. New episodes are coming regularly. Let the emotional spirals commence. ***************************Podcast & Host Links:Clairannoyance InstagramClairannoyance TikTokClairannoyance WebsiteMegan's InstagramMegan's TikTokMegan's WebsiteRyan's InstagramRyan's TikTokRyan's Website
In this session, we gather insights from a panel of spiritually mature Gen Z'ers from Baylor University, who share their experiences of what they call the Holy Spirit movement. This episode captures the essence of how young students are listening to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, leading them in extraordinary ways to share their faith and be genuine followers of Jesus. Discover the intergenerational support these young leaders receive from their local church communities around Waco, Texas, and how this unity among believers fosters an atmosphere for divine encounters and personal growth. What if digital actions like copying text or selecting emojis carry an unseen weight — a subtle energy that lingers in the virtual world? In this episode, we explore technomancy — the intersection of technology and mysticism — and the ways it's creating a "digital empathy" of sorts. Like it or not, our digital lives are seeping into our emotional experiences in the real world. From the strange “weight” of holding copied text before you paste it, to a psychic who reads people's recently used emojis like tarot cards, we look into the modern mysteries of the digital realm. Are we subconsciously developing new forms of animism for our devices, sensing energy where there is none? On the heels of another dynamic eclipse season — marked by a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Aries on September 17 and a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Libra on October 2 — we're pausing to reflect on how these cosmic influences are showing up in both real-world events and our everyday lives. This was the final eclipse season of the Aries/Libra cycle, which kicked off in July 2023 and will wind down by January 11, 2025. At that point, the North Node will transition from Aries to Pisces and the South Node will shift from Libra to Virgo. Once the new eclipse cycle begins, fate will take us in a different direction until July 2026. But that's a conversation for another day (and another episode). For now, let's commemorate the tail end of the Aries/Libra cycle. Some of the topics we explore in today's episode include:The simultaneous decline in both divorce and marriage ratesGen Z's surprising commitment to monogamy, more so than Millennials and Gen XWhy more people admit to having friends, but not spending much time with themThe joy of reconnecting with old friends — and the strange reasons we avoid it, despite wanting toThe importance of discernment when we're touch-starved, and why hugs may not be as simple as they seem (hint: other people's moods can be contagious)How masculine and feminine energies express themselves, and how gender does — and doesn't — come into playEclipses are often a time of downfall or death for public figures, and this season was no different, as exemplified by Sean ‘Diddy' Combs' recent charges of sex trafficking and racketeeringThe looming question of whether an “October Surprise” will disrupt the U.S. presidential election… or if we've reached a point where it's simply impossible to be surprised by politics anymoreResources Mentioned in this Episode:Article: What's Behind the Plunge in Divorce Rates?Study: Gen Z is Transforming Sexuality and RelationshipsArticle: Does Anyone Have Time to Be a Good Friend Anymore?Study: People are Surprisingly Hesitant to Reach Out to Old FriendsArticle: Large Scientific Review Confirms the Benefits of Physical TouchArticle: Depression is ContagiousArticle: Norah Vincent, Who Chronicled Passing as a Man, Is Dead at 53Book: “Self-Made Man” by Norah VincentBook: “The Queen's Code” by Alison A. This month focuses on the fine line between standing your ground and recognizing when it's time to negotiate. This month invites us to reflect on what we are willing to hold on to, even in the face of adversity, and when it might be wiser to compromise for the sake of balance and harmony. So... what do 5G microwaves, a clothing line made of tin foil, and a bunch of confiscated dildos have in common? Is this even a spiritual podcast anymore? Wtf am I listening to?We're back on our bullshit. In this Serendipity Session, we dive headfirst into the absurd, the spiritual, and the conspiratorial. Eyebrows will be raised, but we don't give a fuck. We cover everything from M.I.A.'s new anti-5G fashion line (because, apparently, 5G protection is high fashion now), to P. Diddy's arrest and the authorities' peculiar discovery of his, um, adult extracurricular props. But wait, there's more! Along the way, we talk about the dangers of TikTok baby witches casting spells like it's a high school chemistry experiment, and we go off on white girls who jump into spirituality with no shame about colonizing closed spiritual practices from other cultures. We discuss the philosophical Ship of Theseus (because, duh, you need to learn something esoteric in every episode). And we also explore the weird dynamics that arise when spiritual readers try to read for other spiritual readers (spoiler alert: it doesn't always go well). TRIGGER WARNING: This episode touches on topics related to suicide. If you're experiencing suicidal thoughts or feeling overwhelmed, support is available. Call or text 988 — it's a free, confidential help line available 24/7. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and we want you to be here. You matter.By nature, humans are drawn to the edge of existence. We hear that unsettling whisper, beckoning us toward danger, and we feel tempted to tip-toe toward it. "The Call of the Void" is a strange and primal phenomenon — thoughts of self-destruction that pop in our minds seemingly out of nowhere — from the urge to jump off a great height or the sudden desire to swerve into oncoming traffic. It's ominous. But it's not as scary as you might think. Here's the paradox: The Call of the Void is not about wanting to die; it's about appreciating what it means to feel alive. These thoughts are a reminder of the pulse of life. It's a way we feel our mortality and sharpen our existence. In this episode, we walk the fine line between intuition and impulse to discover how risk-taking behaviors can be a gateway to spiritual transformation. Risky endeavors can lead us to a "flow state" where we deepen our connection to the universe, leading to peak experiences and even mystical revelations. Are we wired to crave risk as part of our spiritual journey? And what happens when we ignore that inner voice — when we let fear and self-doubt stagnate our potential? We learn from these moments on the edge, when chaos gives way to creation. You are here for a reason, and sometimes, following that gut instinct — even if it feels a little risky — is exactly how you'll feel closer to your purpose. The universe has a collective field of ideas, and if you don't act on that pull toward something extraordinary, someone else will. When the Call of the Void rings, will you take time to listen a little deeper? Or will you be left wondering what could have been?*****************************************Questions / Journal Prompts / Meditations:What's your flow state? When do you find yourself feeling captivated by other people who are in their own flow state or engaging in behaviors you might think are risky? How does watching them make you feel? Why do you think you're captivated by them? What do you want the most in life, and what risks might you need to take to achieve those goals? If you don't know you want, ask yourself what you're afraid of and explore those fears. Chances are, if you get honest about what scares you, you'll be led to revelations about what you want the most.*****************************************Episode Resources:Movie: ThelmaSong: "Heat Death (The End of Everything)" by Sophia JamesBook: "The End of Everything (Astrophysically Speaking)" by Katie MackBook: "Sensation Seeking: Beyond the Optimal Level of Arousal" by Marvin ZuckermanBook: "Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience" by Mihaly CsilkszentmihalyiBook: "The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious" by Carl JungBook: "Religions, Values, and Peak-Experiences" by Abraham MaslowBook: "Adventure Therapy: Theory, Research and Practice" by Gass, Gillis & RussellBook: "Chaos: Making A New Science" by James GleickArticle: "Do You Have The Adventure Gene?"Article: "The Confidence/Competence Loop"Study: "An Urge to Jump Affirms the Urge to Live"*****************************************Podcast & Host Resources:Clairannoyance InstagramClairannoyance TikTokClairannoyance WebsiteMegan's InstagramMegan's TikTokMegan's WebsiteRyan's InstagramRyan's TikTokRyan's Website
We're the architects of a future we'll never inhabit. In the face of today's global challenges, we must consider how our actions set the stage for those who will inherit the Earth after us. Are we obligated to act now for people we'll never meet? Do future generations even have rights? In today's episode, we discuss the spiritual implications of "now vs. later" — how short-term desires clash with long-term responsibilities. From environmental conservation to preserving cultural and moral values, we explore what it really means to leave behind a legacy. Does spirituality demand that we leave footprints in the sand, or seeds in the soil for a forest we'll never see? Throughout history, certain societies have embraced long-term thinking, while others have been crumbled by short-term gains. From Indigenous practices of sustainability to modern roles like the Future Generations Commissioner of Wales, long-term stewardship has always been a guiding principle. But it's becoming rarer in today's fast-paced world — just look at the instant gratification of consumerism or political leaders who make decisions solely based on election cycles. What is the price of constantly living for the present, and how does it stunt our collective growth? Can we design systems and cultures that help us rise above short-term thinking, even in the face of an immediate crisis?Even beliefs like reincarnation, which promise a second chance, can lead us to focus on personal ‘good karma' rather than the welfare of future generations. What does it truly mean to be a "good ancestor" when we're preoccupied with our own spiritual returns? We also cover some common spiritual practices, like meditation and manifestation, explaining which ones foster a mindset of sustainability and which may unintentionally encourage short-term thinking. Stewarding the future carries a heavy weight, both spiritually and emotionally. But the truth is that you are both an echo of the past and a whisper for the future. What kind of sound will your life make? *****************************************"Like the earth, let us help and share the burden of all. Grab your cosmic passport and join us as we finally travel the galaxy in search of the truth about Starseeds. TRIGGER WARNING: This may be a provocative or controversial episode if you identify as a Starseed (in which case, this episode is probably even more important for you to listen to). Starseeds are a subculture within the new age spirituality community. They believe they are extraterrestrial souls incarnated on Earth to elevate humanity to a higher state of consciousness. They come from various galaxies and star systems far, far away. It sounds like science fiction. And actually... it kind of is. You'll see what we mean. It's also fueled by more sobering ideologies like white supremacy, eugenics, and capitalism. Researching these darker parallels, it becomes clear that starseeds are (most likely) not from some distant galaxy. Instead, they're found at the intersection of cosmic elitism and earthly prejudices. Despite our skepticism, we eventually stretch our understanding to consider the possibilities that starseed narratives offer. We reflect on why such beliefs resonate deeply with those who feel disenfranchised by the conventional world. We acknowledge the psychological comfort these narratives provide, and the sense of control and purpose they offer in our often chaotic human existence. Whether you're a skeptic, a believer, or simply curious, there's something here for you. And we're not done. In a future Part 2 episode, we'll dive even further into this subject -- and we invite anyone who identifies as a starseed to speak with us for that episode! If that's you, please reach out. We'd love to chat and promise to keep an open mind and a comfortable atmosphere for you to share your perspective with us. *****************************************Resources Mentioned in this Episode:Article: The Dark Historical Roots of StarseedsArticle: Psychologists on StarseedsArticle: Common Types of StarseedsWebsite: Barbara MarciniakVideo: Matias De Stefano Summoning Aliens (Allegedly)*****************************************Podcast & Host Resources:Clairannoyance InstagramClairannoyance TikTokClairannoyance WebsiteMegan's InstagramMegan's TikTokMegan's WebsiteRyan's InstagramRyan's TikTokRyan's Website
Astrologers are ringing the alarms for August, but we're here to give you a more grounded look at the cosmic landscape. We're learning this month that your ability to love and commit to anything - a person, a hobby, a job, a pet, anything! - is worth the pain and imperfections. The joy you derive from the things you love and commit to, despite their flaws, is essential for your growth and resilience. This is an important month to seek clarity in the actions and intentions of others. If you practice empathy, you can better understand why others act the way they do, which can help you find healthy ways of loving them through both "better" and "worse" scenarios. Even if something you love must come to an "end" this month, that doesn't mean you failed to love it "for better or for worse." What matters is having the experience of loving something that much at all. Once you do, it becomes an unchangeable part of your reality. It transcends all timelines. It will have always existed, and will always exist. ***TRIGGER WARNING: Politics Ahead! This is not a typical “spiritual” episode — but actually, it is!Part of a healthy spiritual practice is paying attention to what's happening in the world and allowing yourself to feel however you might feel about what you witness. If you're not paying attention, you're not participating in life. And if you're not participating, you're disassociating. And that just makes no sense, because you're here for a reason. It's not always easy, but your participation in this grand human experiment matters. We're conscious beings on a giant rock flying 67,000 miles per hour through the vacuum of space. If you don't participate and give that some meaning, then the “powers that be” will make it mean something for you… and you may not enjoy what “they” turn your human experience into.ALSO! Someone decided to leave us an anonymous negative review and attempted to belittle Ryan (on Apple Podcasts). We rant about this for a bit, but it also sparked a conversation about the importance of learning how to have discourse with people who think differently than us. It's a fact: not everyone will share your point of view. But how you interact with people from “the other side” reflects and defines your character, not theirs. That said… we have 2 small favors:Send a positive thought to the person who chose to leave us a crappy review. They woke up that day and decided it was a productive use of their time to harden someone else's heart. We hope the universe shows them the compassion and open-mindedness they were unable to offer on their own. Please consider leaving us a 5-star review (on Apple Podcasts or Spotify especially). Your support and positivity means the world to us!***EPISODE NOTE: We recorded this episode in the wake of Donald Trump's assassination attempt and just days before Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race. We're back! And this episode feels very prescient. We recorded this in June, but life has been crazy and we haven't had a chance to edit and post it until now. We apologize for the delay, but the episode definitely has some interesting information foreshadowing some of the current events we've experienced in July. As everyone now knows, an assassination attempt was made on former President Trump on July 13. While we didn't go too deep into politics in this episode, we discussed it a bit and you'll likely hear the related themes. Outside of current events, this month has a deeply personal feeling and everyone will experience July in a wholly unique way. Which island of the archipelago are you on? Jupiter begins its year-long transit through Gemini on May 25, 2024, so we turned it into a Serendipity Session! We riff on a specific yet understated theme that Jupiter in Gemini is likely to expose: the need to transcend opposing forces. The world is seen through a binary lens in many ways. Gemini will highlight the contradictions, juxtapositions, dichotomies, contrast, and duality that's present in so many aspects of our lives. But Jupiter has an ability to create a mystical union when faced with opposites. She's an advocate for the democratization of spiritual wisdom and she knows how to ethically engage with this community. We talk with Karina about her experiences across a wide range of fascinating topics: conscious solo travel, spiritual materialism, authenticity, life as a Leo, what's worth sharing publicly and what's worth keeping private, the limitations of spiritual language and buzzwords, how she integrates multiple spiritual disciplines into her life, and beyond. You're going to love her bold personality, hot takes, and unfiltered conversation! Enjoy! You can also still submit for our Time Capsule project (directions are also in the show notes of our "One Year of Clairannoyance" episode). ******************ABOUT THIS EPISODE: Hesitation is such a common yet fleeting feeling, often occurring mere moments before an ultimate decision. This instinctive pause is intertwined with moral choices, offering us a moment to confirm where we stand on the spectrum of good and bad, right and wrong. Hesitation can be the difference between cautious wisdom and paralyzing fear, as it taps into your primitive flight/fight/freeze response, often exacerbated by anxiety. Søren Kierkegaard described anxiety as “the dizziness of freedom,” capturing how existential freedom and responsibility can lead to hesitation or paralysis in making significant life decisions. Meanwhile, Martin Heidegger's notion of resoluteness — the act of being true to oneself by overcoming hesitation to act authentically — serves as an antidote to the paralysis hesitation can induce. If you listened to our April and May astrology forecasts, you know that old patterns are coming to a head right now while we adjust to the wave of new energies coming in. Under the influence of new possibilities and life directions on the horizon, hesitation is a natural part of the process, giving us the space to align our intentions with our actions as we navigate moral and existential choices. What's making you hesitate right now? Do you feel like a dork for hesitating? (We apologize in advance for the amount of times we say dork in this episode.)Resources Mentioned In This EpisodeBook: "The Concept of Anxiety" by Søren KierkegaardBook: "Being and Time" by Martin HeideggerBook: "Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking" by Malcom Gladwell******************P.S. We're talking about drugs today, kids! Specifically, we're speaking with a doctor — A real doctor! Dr. Dan! — who uses ketamine to treat patients struggling with everything from depression to bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder to alcoholism, and much more. The conversation about using psychedelics for therapeutic purposes in clinical settings has been a hot topic for many years now, but ketamine has emerged as a remarkable frontrunner in the race to find alternative healing methods. Dr. Dan Ripley discusses his fascinating story, from military veteran to board certified physician to getting involved with ketamine therapy. He explains the extraordinary success rate of patients who undergo treatment and the many ways ketamine can profoundly heal a myriad of ailments. We dive into a captivating discussion about drugs that have long been stigmatized and their transformative abilities to bring a level of healing that traditional pharmaceuticals often fail to achieve. About Dr. Dan RipleyDr. Dan Ripley is a board certified physician offering concierge services to professionals, executives, models, TV stars and movie actors. He operates Coastal Ketamine + Aesthetics in Charleston, South Carolina. His mission is to provide the very best healthcare available in a caring and empathetic manner. Longtime listeners may remember today's guest, Michelle Brock, our past life expert! Michelle is back to discuss her brand new book — "Who Do You Think You Are?" — now available via publisher Penguin Random House. One of the most brilliant parts of this book, and our discussion about it, is that past life exploration isn't just about who you used to be in another life; it's about better understanding who you are in your current life. Michelle has a transcendent ability to help you feel more rooted and grounded in who you are right now. Her book is designed to help you explore your past lives, which ultimately helps you learn to accept yourself as you are — your looks, your psychology, your sexual orientation, your relationships, and beyond. Tune into this episode to challenge your sense of identity, learn about cultural appropriation vs. appreciation in past life work, discuss the nature of soulmates, explore how your past lives influence your current beliefs and ideas about the world, understand how to free yourself from the stories you tell yourself, and better understand how your past life storylines bleed into your current life. Purchase Michelle Brock's book on all major book retailers. We threw out the rulebook in this episode. Today's guest, Victoria Thérèse, is something of a walking library. A wunderkind of sorts. Expect this episode to be a cerebral-spiritual tour de force. We had a massive list of mind-bending topics we originally planned to discuss with Victoria, but we barely touched that list. This might as well be another installment of our Serendipity Sessions series, because we were simply feeling the flow of the natural conversation. It's easy to get carried away when you have a brain like Victoria's on the line. She's an advocate for the democratization of information and spiritual knowledge, so rest assured you'll be well fed in this episode. Victoria's fascinating and well-educated perspectives are epitomized by the episode title. We called her slightly controversial, she self-describes as morally gray, and we love it all. Here's a peek at some of the many topics we approach in this episode:Removing morality from spiritual spacesWhy Dolores Cannon sucks. Is spirituality something people are predisposed to experiencing? Do your genetics make a difference? What external forces are at play that might cause someone to become more spiritual? Spiritual awakenings are a common topic in the spiritual community, but not often something that we dissect and explore in-depth. This is the first installment of our three-part series (well...we think it'll be three parts) where we'll explore how and why spiritual awakenings occur. In this first episode, we share stories about our own spiritual awakenings and discuss common ways people seem to experience them. We preview some larger topics that we'll further dive into for parts two and three in this series, and we also invite listeners to write in with their own spiritual awakening stories so we can share them in a future episode as part of this series! What if spirituality is just a place to stash life's chaos? A container to help you find peace with all your clutter? ***NOTE: We had some audio issues at first so you'll hear a funny break around 15:25. This took a while for us to fix, so it derailed our recording a while and we were short on time. We had to move through the astrology forecast this month a little faster than we originally planned. It's still an excellent episode though, obviously. Enjoy the chaos!February is a short month, and this is a short forecast, but there is a surprising amount of astrological energy playing out! We do our best to condense these themes down into bite-sized pieces for you to make this month as fruitful as possible.Major astrology topics we cover in this episode include: the New Moon in Aquarius, the Full Moon in Virgo, the 5 planets changing signs, what it means to have an abundance of energy in Aquarius, how Pluto is getting awakened this month, and the significance of the conjunction between Chiron and the North Node in Aries. We're relating this month's energy to the concept of "repair" - which isn't about fixing something that's broken, but about getting on the right track. The two people involved are @keishathemystic and @st.finnikin This episode is a case study in the ways that spirituality can lead to dangerous levels of spiritual psychosis. We're breaking down an intense situation that occurred in the TikTok spiritual community recently regarding two creators who we believe are both problematic. "It's better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war." — Miyamoto MusashiWe're back for another Serendipity Session! Megan and Ryan catch up over a mishmash of topics. After a quick catch up (it had been a while since we recorded together!) we dive into the controversy that's resulted in pop culture about the war between Israel and Palestine, which has had major ramifications that cannot be ignored. (#FreePalestine — NO that does not mean we are antisemitic.) Paying attention to current events and what's happening around the world IS a spiritual practice. To purposefully disconnect from this is to be pompous about your privilege. If you're not paying attention, then you are flexing spiritual bypassing, and that's not a flex to brag about. We also discuss the importance of media literacy, and the general lack of critical analysis so many people are proudly displaying right now. We chat about the perverse and persistent need to overreact and our over reliance on the internet and technology as a means to showcase our overreactions. We also have a though-provoking discussion about the role that nihilism is playing in our modern society right now, which we may turn into a full length episode soon as well.P.S. Manifestation is a hot topic in the spiritual space. The practice can be beautiful, but it can also highlight many of the overarching issues that plague the spiritual community including racism, classism, privilege, and spiritual bypassing. If manifestation has been difficult for you to align with, or if you're interested in shaking up your current manifestation routine, you'll want to tune into this episode from start to finish. Join us as we chat with Deva Holliday, a Los Angeles based actress and comedian shining a whole new light on the practice of manifesting. Deva is the mastermind behind Niche Manifestations, which has become a viral TikTok sensation, even catching the attention of major news outlets like Cosmopolitan Magazine and Good Day LA. We dive into Deva's signature manifestation style, which highlights the importance of leveraging humor while walking a spiritual path. We also zoom out to explore the concept of manifesting overall — what it is, why it works, how it can be problematic, and how you can use it as a positive and productive part of your spiritual practice. In this episode, you'll hear about Deva's storied background, from her cult commune upbringing, to decolonizing and reconditioning the religious and social imprints she received as a child, to harnessing the power of gratefulness, to her current thriving life in Los Angeles, and more. Sound is a fundamental and all-encompassing element in our lives. It holds a powerful capacity to forge profound connections with our inner selves, with others, and with the very essence of life itself. Sound attunes us to our humanity and provides a gateway to spiritual well-being. The therapeutic potential of sound is vast, offering relief to those grappling with stress, anxiety, grief, depression, PTSD, insomnia, and a spectrum of physical and emotional ailments. From deepening relaxation and enhancing visualization to fostering mental focus, creativity, and spiritual growth, sound is a force of healing and transformation. It's more than music; it's a vibrational foundation echoing through every aspect of our existence. In this episode we speak with special guest Arlyn Ruddy, a Charleston-based rapper, Initiated Sound Therapist, and the creatrix of Awaken Spanda (to name a just a few of her many well-trained roles). Arlyn was originally invited to speak with us about sound baths, but after dipping our toes in the water, the conversation evolved into a broader exploration of sound as a healing art. Arlyn opens up about her personal story and reveals how sound became a pivotal element in her healing arsenal. We talk about everything from Arlyn's music and sound healing techniques, to the emotions that music can stir, to sound as a spiritual catalyst, to the commercialization and misuses of sound, its universal nature, and beyond. Tune in and discover how vibration is a language of healing, creativity, and profound connection."At the root of all power and motion, there is music and rhythm, the play of patterned frequencies against the matrix of time. We know that every particle in the physical universe takes its characteristics from the pitch and pattern and overtones of its particular frequencies, it's singing. Before we make music, music makes us." - Joachim-Ernst BerendtAbout Arlyn Ruddy:With a journey spanning over two decades in the holistic wellness arena, Arlyn Ruddy is a multifaceted and multi-dimensional creatrix: a rapper, musician, initiated sound therapist and trainer, licensed neuromuscular therapist, body/energy worker and more. She's worked alongside preventative doctors and professionals in the holistic field of medicine around the country. Through her innovative techniques, Arlyn unlocks the soul's unique vibrational signature, connecting people to their highest form of consciousness through sound and breathwork. Arlyn's signatures include Sound Ceremonies, S.E. Breathwork immersions, and Gong Therapy sessions. These transformative experiences are designed to restore optimal human potential and bring unconscious parts of the energy body into conscious awareness for meaningful action in waking life. She integrates her prowess for sound with various healing modalities to support emotional, psychological, and spiritual unity. As an educator, Arlyn's Integral Sound Training courses, designed through divine guidance and scientific study, empower others to tune into their calling with sound and frequency. Her studies in martial and internal arts, along with her current teacher training in White Tiger Qigong, further enrich her approach. Arlyn Ruddy's life and work are a symphony of healing, consciousness, and empowerment, echoing her belief that integration and healing are not just practices but a way of living – a path to liberation and ultimate wellness.Connect with Arlyn:Website: www.awakenspanda.com Instagram: @awaken_spandaTiktok: @creatrixgirlAdditional Resources:Clairannoyance InstagramClairannoyance TikTokClairannoyance WebsiteMegan's InstagramMegan's TikTokMegan's WebsiteRyan's InstagramRyan's TikTokRyan's Website
Reiki is one of the most accessible forms of energy healing available right now, which makes it all the more important to understand what it is and how it should be practiced. With the sea of scammers intruding all corners of the spiritual space, reiki is one of the more common ways that charlatans can take advantage of vulnerable people. Luckily, we have one of the best in the biz as a host for Clairannoyance!Megan has been practicing and teaching reiki for a decade, certifying countless people over the years - including Ryan! - to become proficient in this healing modality. If you've been listening to Clairannoyance for a while, you know Megan will give a no-BS perspective of this topic. We cover the basics including the history of reiki and its foundational elements, plus we dive into plenty of more advanced and nuanced subjects as well. You'll leave the episode feeling like you have a much better understand of what reiki is, how it works, and what to look out for if you're interested in booking a reiki session with someone or pursuing certification yourself! We're continuing our monthly astrology series and looking at the astrology of October 2023. HOW ARE WE ALREADY IN OCTOBER???The theme for this month is "At A Crossroads" - so we're breaking down the idea of "crossroads" in some really intricate ways, because it's a common theme in mythology and folklore across many cultures. October is basically like one giant crossroads moment. Where will you choose to go from here? We're not going to sugarcoat it: October has a lot going on. You might say it'll feel pretty "heated" because the "Via Combusta" (AKA the "fiery road") is getting activated by a ton of planetary alignments. We're telling you what the Via Combusta means and how it's being activated throughout the month. Between two eclipses (a New Moon Eclipse in Libra and a Full Moon Eclipse in Taurus), five (count them, five!) planets changing signs, and Pluto finally ending its long retrograde...there's a lot of cosmic action going on and we're ready to share it all with you.How are you feeling about October? Are there any celestial events or astrological alignments that you're particularly eager to experience? P.S. RATE US 5 STARS PLEASE! IT HELPS SO MUCH! If you're hearing this episode, congratulations: you survived the alleged rapture that was supposed to happen on September 23, 2023. Which means you're here just in time to be present for the alleged catastrophe that will be caused by the Emergency Broadcast System coming up on October 4.We're breaking down some hot new conspiracies making the rounds on the internet (TikTok). Plus, we discuss the "What About Me?!" epidemic taking society by storm. Also, the 'negative' stance too many people (cough cough Gen Z cough cough) are placing on the concept of healing. In this week's episode, we're breaking down the meaning of friendship. It might seem like a light and fluffy subject on the surface, but as with all of our topics, this subject manages to go much deeper than you might expect. We are social creatures. No matter how independent you think you might be, connectivity with others -- especially having quality friends -- is wildly important. Friendship is more than a quick fix for your desire to socialize. It's a necessary experience that's embedded within us as humans. The wrong friends can literally have a harmful impact on your DNA. But what about the right friends? What even is a good friend? How many friends can you feasibly have? How do you choose who's in you inner circle and who isn't? Quality friendships have impacts on our social, emotional and even physical health. In fact, your ability to survive a heart attack depends more on the quality of your friendships than smoking 20 cigarettes a day. Friendship is a special kind of connection that deserves your time and energy, but many of us simply don't know how to create or nurture those connections -- or how to break up with the friends who no longer fit in our lives. For legal reasons, we want to make it clear that THIS EPISODE IS NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE.This is also not an episode about the history of capitalism, or investment recommendations, or an exploration of the economy or financial markets. This is an honest conversation that acknowledges the multifaceted beliefs, emotions, mindsets and sensitivities people have about money. At the heart of it, money is a nuanced and personal experience. Money isn't just a currency. It's a reflection of our lives and our values. Money is a conceptual, energetic, and necessary tool to help you understand your self-worth. Because your self-worth is your net worth. In this episode, we share our personal experiences with money and share our thoughts and information about lack mindsets, growth psychology, manifestation techniques, and more. We're bouncing between topics associated with privilege, greed, jealousy and beyond to better develop a healthier relationship with money. The intersection of spirituality and wealth can make the values in our hearts collide with the demands of the material world. It's a complex subject — one that we'll tackle from multiple angles in a few different episodes over time. But as we begin the conversation with this episode, our goal is to acknowledge the profound ways money influences our lives, and help you understand the importance of viewing money beyond a tangible object. Ultimately, it's about seeing the endless wealth that exists when you tune into your authenticity."Since its creation, money hasn't been just a measure of wealth; at times it's been a symbol of our values and a test of our morality. The way in which one uses money may build or destroy one's reputation and standing in a community, and it certainly demonstrates one's character. Because money is an expression of value, it matters how it's expressed." — Kabir Sehgal***As mentioned at the end of the episode, below is a list of our recommended books about money, wealth, abundance and prosperity. Whether you want a psychological deep dive, a witchy spell book, an EFT tapping guide, a historical viewpoint, an academic approach, a metaphysical perspective, or just a practical way of better understanding money markets, budgeting, investing or otherwise, you'll be able to find something in this list that sparks your interest:“Coined” by Kabir Sehgal“The Soul of Money” by Lynne Twist“The Richest Man in Babylon” by George S. We'd like to start by thanking Brené Brown for all that she does in the world. Now that we've made that clear, let's dig into this episode's theme. In this week's deep dive episode, we venture into the intricate web of emotions and perceptions tangled up with the ideas of acceptance and rejection. On the surface, acceptance seems like a warm embrace, while rejection can feel like a sharp sting. But as we dive deeper, we realize these two concepts are not only more delicate and intricate than they appear, but they're also interconnected in complex ways. These concepts are fundamental parts of our daily experiences and the choices we make. Sometimes they seem inconsequential, but other times they're like mighty sagas that dramatically alter our spirit. Acceptance and rejection can fully alter the way we view ourselves and each other. They can dictate our outlooks, shape our expectations, and transform the way we interact with the world.Separately and together, these are experiences that forge tremendous amounts of resilience, strength and growth within us. Acceptance is not always a gentle sanctuary. Rejection is not always a merciless life sentence. They represent a specific kind of duality, but they're not always so black and white either. What might seem like two sides of the same coin could actually be more prismatic than you think.P.S. RATE US 5 STARTS PLEASE! IT HELPS SO MUCH! Welcome to our second Serendipity Session. We began this series on the Clairannoyance podcast so we could have real-time unscripted conversations. Unlike our subject-specific deep dives and guest interview episodes, The Serendipity Sessions is a raw reflection of the genuine bond we share. We have no rules and no episode notes in advance, just a free-flowing exchange of thoughts and emotions. It's an exploration of the outer banks of consciousness where untamed treasures are hidden away. We believe one sudden insight can hold immense value, far beyond most meticulously planned discussions. Each session is a unique encounter with chance as we defy routine and enjoy a spontaneous dance with spirituality. We aim to keep these episodes as evergreen as possible, so you can find your way here whenever you need to. And hopefully, you'll encounter pieces of yourself every time you join us. In this installment of The Serendipity Sessions, we tackle (in some roundabout ways) the concept of emotional availability - and thus, emotional UNavailability.Emotional availability is a crucial aspect of building meaningful relationships, where vulnerability and openness intertwine. While it's important to know your boundaries and when you have adequate space to hold for others, frequent emotional UNavailability can create barriers, hinder genuine connections, and leave people feeling isolated. Human behavior is complex, and you don't always have to be available for others - not even your best friends or family - but if you consistently shut out other people from expressing their emotions, the implications can be devastating. P.S. PRETTY PLEASE RATE OUR PODCAST 5 STARS WHILE YOU'RE HERE :) Serendipity brought us to a variety of discussion points including: Why people are emotionally unavailableThe difference between emotional unavailability and emotional terrorismWhy you should push back against "friends" who are always emotionally unavailable to youThe negative implications of emotional unintelligenceWhat the current astrology has to say about relationships and emotional connectivityThe harshness of shame when your emotions are discarded by othersWays to be a more emotionally available and emotionally intelligent personWill.i.am and Britney Spears' new song sucksAnd more!Additional ResourcesClairannoyance InstagramClairannoyance TikTokClairannoyance WebsiteMegan's InstagramMegan's TikTokMegan's WebsiteRyan's InstagramRyan's TikTokRyan's Website

Does it feel like things are getting worse instead of better? Rage against blacks being killed. Defense of police. White privilege shame and defense. Accusing protesters for Covid spikes and vandalism. Fake News. Hate and more hate. Weary? Want to help but feeling unbalanced? Well my friend and recent guest Akuyoe Graham who I brought on to start the convo is coming back tomorrow to my studio. Our beloved friend Curtis Byrd just lost his cousin to a racist bullet so I need to remind myself how we can get through this in one PEACE. Episode sponsored by www.DrMarissa.Life
How do you not hate people who do horrible things? How can you see the cops that killed George Floyd without feeling rage? How can you be okay with people who say stupid things on social media? I have not had a Live show since the protests began, partly because I was sick with Covid-19 symptoms, but now that I am negative (one and only time when it is good to be negative!) it's time. My guest is my satellite sister Akuyoe Graham who has been on the show before talking about her prison youth program Spirit Awakening, but this time, I've asked her to be my "Keeping it Real with Love" convo partner. In my public role I am asked to be angry right now and feel pulled into Hate conversations and I stubbornly advocate acting with Love in Mind but is that really possible when there is SO MUCH WRONG in the world right now?!
