The Seahawks put up 35 points on Sunday, but the interior of the offensive line did not grade out well according to Pro Football Focus? What goes into the grading metrics and how does a player like Anthony Bradford get a zero grade in the pass game? We contrast Bradford's performance with Grey Zabel on the opposite side. A mix of the quick game, moving the pocket and some elusiveness form Sam Darnold helped to make this offense shine and performances by AJ Barner and Tory Horton are helping contribute to this offensive success. The conversation shifts to the defensive side, where linebacker and secondary play were notably problematic. Missed tackles and lapses in coverage allowed the Buccaneers to convert multiple third-and-long situations. Up front, the pass rush wasn't effective and that leads to a discussion about potential moves the Seahawks could make. Pursuing Trey Hendrickson from the Bengals could bolster the defensive line, but would the cost be worth it? Are there some other potential trade options the Seahawks should consider? For 59 minutes, Sam Darnold played lights out at quarterback -- up until he drilled a pass into the top of a Bucs helmet and into the intercepting arms of Lavonte David. THE TEMPLE in Jerusalem fell into disrepair within a century of the death of Solomon. The king who repaired it was a good man—sort of. Joash (or Jehoash), son of Ahaziah, reigned in Judah 835–796 BC. He was made king at age seven by the high priest Jehoiada and is credited with restoring the Temple—even pushing the priests, who seemed rather slow to make repairs even after they were ordered to do so. However, the account in 2 Chronicles 24 records that after the death of Jehoiada, Joash fell away and returned to the pagan gods of the Canaanites. Worse, he had the son of Jehoiada, Zechariah, murdered for calling him out! As a consequence, God allowed Judah to be defeated by a relatively small army from the neighboring Aramean kingdom of Damascus, and Joash was assassinated in his bed by two of his servants. We also discuss the death of Elisha in the northern kingdom of Israel, and why King Joash (same name, different king) failed to completely defeat the Arameans. The Seattle Seahawks now sit atop the NFC West tied at 3-1 after a win over the Arizona Cardinals. The defense dominated for most of the game, yet needed some late-game heroics from Sam Darnold, who earned his first "stat" of his Seahawks career. Leonard Williams continues to shine on a defensive line that seems to be rotating among giving prime opportunities to a different guy each week. However, there are concerns about lapses and penalties, especially in the defense and from Tariq Woolen, and from Anthony Bradford who got highlighted in a social media post with most of his worst moments from the game. Could a Woolen trade fix both issues? Or should Seattle be content with a deep squad of defensive backs? We talk about what a potential trade return for Woolen could look like.
