Instead of discarding concepts like evil or the devil, the West has reconstituted a secular version in the person of Adolf Hitler and the ideology of fascism. One does not debate the devil, one slays the devil, and the same is true of the fascist. This is why the Left is now calling basic conservative ideas fascist, because leftists are laying out the justification for political violence. God has ordained that His Word would last forever. No man can destroy the Word of God. It remains throughout every season and every generation. Main Points:1. Scripture has never been more available than it is today. As of September 2020, the full Bible has been translated into 704 languages, and the New Testament has been translated into an additional 1,551 languages. Now, through the means of technology, Scripture is even more available to us than it ever has been before.2. Since the enemy's attempt to destroy the Word of God has failed, he has changed his strategy. Today, his work is to discredit the Bible. We are told that any thinking person couldn't possibly take the Bible seriously.3. Since the devil cannot keep this book out of our hands, he now attempts to keep the book out of our hearts. As we read Scripture, we come to know the author of the book. These words are life to us. Satan knows that if you read the Word of God, it will change your life.Today's Scripture Verses:Isaiah 40:8 - “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”1 Peter 1:25 - “But the Word of the Lord remains forever.”Matthew 24:35 - “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”Psalm 119:89 - “Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.”Quick Links:Donate to support this podcastLeave a review on Apple PodcastsGet a copy of The 5 Minute Discipleship JournalConnect on SocialJoin The 5 Minute Discipleship Facebook Group

There are times the enemy comes as a roaring lion, and there are other times Satan comes as a serpent. In Corinthians 11:3, Paul says, "But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ." When the enemy comes as a serpent, he is looking to bring deception into our lives. This battle always starts in our mind first. But the good news is that if we recognize the scheme of the enemy when it is just at the thought level, it is much easier to defeat.

After forty days of fasting in the wilderness, Jesus faces three temptations from Satan and responds with Scripture alone. Following John's arrest, Jesus moves to Capernaum in Galilee to begin His public ministry, fulfilling Isaiah's prophecy about light dawning in darkness. He calls four fishermen to follow Him and begins teaching in synagogues, preaching the kingdom, and healing throughout the region. Matthew 4 shows Christ succeeding where Israel failed and launching the mission that would transform the world. The Rev. Roger Mullet, pastor of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Buffalo, WY, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Matthew 4. To learn more about Prince of Peace, visit princeofpeacebuffalo.org. The Gospel of Matthew bridges Old and New Testaments, presenting Jesus as the promised Messiah who fulfills the Law we could never keep and establishes His kingdom of grace for all nations. Written by a tax collector transformed by pure grace, Matthew reveals Christ as the true Son of David and Emmanuel (God with us) who challenges us with the crushing demands of the Law in His Sermon on the Mount to the sweet comfort of the Gospel in His death and resurrection. From royal genealogy to glorious resurrection, this verse-by-verse study proclaims the One who conquered sin, death, and the devil for us, now delivering forgiveness, life, and salvation through Word and Sacrament as He remains with His church always, even to the end of the age. Thy Strong Word, hosted by Rev. Dr. Phil Booe, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church of Luverne, MN, reveals the light of our salvation in Christ through study of God's Word, breaking our darkness with His redeeming light. Each weekday, two pastors fix our eyes on Jesus by considering Holy Scripture, verse by verse, in order to be strengthened in the Word and be equipped to faithfully serve in our daily vocations. From the beginning of the existence of the nation of Israel we have seen attempt after attempt to destroy the people of God and those attempts always fail. Not only do they fail, the people of God grow. This is especially true of Israel! Today on Light on the Hill we'll see an example of this in the upbringing of Moses. Is a carnal Christian really a Christian? When a saved person acts like an unsaved person, all of the alarm bells should go off! We're not talking about new believers - we'll be patient with them and provide good examples while the Spirit helps them grow. But are we growing? Do we even understand that spiritual maturity is the goal? We've got problems with this in the American church, just like they did in the Corinthian church. Here's Jim to conclude his message on, Stunted Growth. Catholic men, we're at war—and this episode is a rallying cry. Fr. Dominic joins me as we dive deep into the election of Pope Leo XIV, what his papacy means for the Church, and how men must rise as warriors in the spiritual battle of our time.We discuss the symbolism of Pope Leo taking his name in continuity with the great Leo XIII, the Rosary Pope who gave us the St. Michael Prayer. We look at the promise of strong leadership, the dangers of confusion in the Church, and what it means for men who want to fight for holiness in their homes. This isn't just about papal history—it's about how you as a husband, father, or single man must embrace discipline, prayer, fasting, and leadership in your vocation. Fr. Dom challenges every man listening: if you want to be a warrior for Christ, it starts in the daily grind of loving your wife, leading your family in prayer, working with integrity, and refusing to let Satan through the front door of your home.We also go into the liturgical battles surrounding the Mass—Novus Ordo vs. the Extraordinary Form, the loss of silence, the confusion over extraordinary ministers, and how Pope Leo XIV might restore clarity. Men, this is not a passive conversation. It's a call to arms.Challenge from this episode:Stop chasing spiritual “special forces” experiences and embrace the ordinary duties of your vocation with the heart of a warrior. Pray with your wife. Lead your children. Guard your home. That is the frontline of the battle.Products/References Mentioned:EWTN (coverage of the conclave)【6:Jimmy】Harmel Academy of the Trades (founded on Leo XIII's Catholic social teaching)Mass of the Ages (documentary series on the Latin Mass)Books/Encyclicals referenced: Rerum Novarum (Leo XIII), Amoris Laetitia, Fiducia Supplicans3 Powerful Quotes from the Episode:“It's ingrained in our DNA as men to guard, defend, and protect. Satan doesn't want you to know that. He wants you effeminate.” – Fr. Dom“The warrior in you is going to have to embrace the things you don't want to do—loving your wife the way she desires to be loved, disciplining your children, staying cool under pressure.” – Fr. Dom“Don't be afraid to fail. As long as you're grounded in your faith, every failure becomes an opportunity for growth.” – JamesKey Takeaway for Men:Being a warrior for Christ doesn't begin with grand gestures—it begins with the daily, often hidden, acts of faithfulness in your vocation.Do you want me to also condense this into a shorter YouTube description version (SEO-friendly but tighter), like we did for past episodes?Send us a text Support the showPlease prayerfully consider supporting the podcast on our Buy Me A Coffee page. to help grow the show to reach as many men as possible! Before salvation, we were spiritually dead - incapable of responding to God despite all our religious efforts. Dr. John Neufeld explains regeneration as God's "heart transplant" that makes us spiritually alive. Using Acts 16:14, he shows how God creates a new nature within believers that produces five remarkable abilities: an inability to continue in sin, Christ-like love, power to overcome worldly pressures, protection from Satan, and genuine spiritual hunger.Making the Most of Your Salvation: In a world of endless technology, the opportunity for learning, communicating, and creating is at an all-time high. But for many of us, we don't take full advantage of all of the resources at our fingertips. We know that many of us aren't using technology to its full capacity, but did you know that many of us view our salvation in the same way? Join Dr. John Neufeld in the 10-message series, Making the Most of Your Salvation, as we learn about a sad reality that many Christians face: We don't appreciate all that our salvation has to offer us. All too often, we see salvation as something that is there, that we understand, but we don't take full advantage of. We go to church, we try to read the Bible, and we know that we're going to heaven when we die. But there are so many other benefits of salvation that have the power to revolutionize our lives!
The Fall of Man (Genesis 2:25–3:7)Genesis 3 is a pivotal moment in Scripture when Adam and Eve chose to believe the lies of Satan rather than trust the will of God. Satan's work has always been to draw us away from God—through doubt, half-truths, and deception. Adam and Eve's choice in the garden was not just their story; it's ours too. As Romans 3:23 reminds us, "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."To understand our own sin, we must first understand the first sin. What does their rebellion teach us about the danger of Satan's lies? At the heart of every temptation is an invitation to reject God and trust the deceiver instead of the Creator. This text teaches three vital lessons: the need to trust God's wisdom, trust His word, and trust His design. This sermon explains from Genesis 2:25–3:7, the pivotal scripture detailing the Fall of Man and the origin of sin. It explores the theological foundations of this passage, how Satan's lies led Adam and Eve to rebellion, and the profound consequences that changed the human condition forever. Understanding this first sin is crucial for understanding one's own sin and God's work of redemption.Sermon Outline: Three Ways We Must Trust GodI. Trust God's Wisdom (Genesis 3:1-3)II. In this powerful teaching, Dr. Charles Stanley emphasizes that the battlefield of the Christian life begins in the mind. He explains how unchecked thoughts can lead to fear, doubt, and destructive behaviors, while Spirit-led thinking produces peace, confidence, and victory. Drawing from Scripture, Dr. Stanley shows that believers must guard their minds, filter every thought through God's truth, and refuse to let Satan gain a foothold. With practical guidance and biblical encouragement, he reminds us that by relying on the Holy Spirit, we can replace lies with God's promises and live with renewed strength and clarity. Fluffy and I thank you for tuning in!
October 1, 2025 Today's Reading: Amos 6:1-7Daily Lectionary: Deuteronomy 2:16-37; Matthew 6:16-34 “So as soon as all the men of war had perished and were dead from among the people, the Lord said to me, ‘Today you are to cross the border of Moab at Ar. And when you approach the territory of the people of Ammon, do not harass them or contend with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot for a possession.' …Rephaim formerly lived there… a people great and many, and tall as the Anakim; but the Lord destroyed them before the Ammonites, and they dispossessed them and settled in their place, as he did for the people of Esau, who live in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites before them and they dispossessed them and settled in their place even to this day… ‘This day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you on the peoples who are under the whole heaven, who shall hear the report of you and shall tremble and be in anguish because of you.'” (Deuteronomy 2:16-19, 20b, 21-22, 25) In the Name + of Jesus. Amen. The right hand of the Lord exalts, the right hand of the Lord does valiantly. The people of Israel are preparing to enter the land of Canaan. This retelling of the events beginning the forty years' wandering reinforces the truth of what will come for them in Joshua. The Lord will fight for them. The Lord will send their enemies fleeing before them. Moab, Ammon, and Edom are filled with unfaithful people. People to whom the Lord is faithful in His covenant promises. He promised them lands and prosperity, which they have. He even restrains Israel against them. All of these promises are known to the Israelites from Genesis. These unfaithful heathens still enjoy the rain falling on the just and the unjust alike from a faithful God. How much more will He be faithful to His people, Israel? The promises of God are all gathered together as proof of what is to come. In the garden, he promised to send the Seed of the woman to crush the Serpent's head. Jesus, the only Son from Heaven and Mary's Son, is the Messiah Israel awaited. All of creation was groaning for salvation. In Jesus, it is here. God's greatest promise was delivered by Christ's death to destroy the power of Satan for you, dear Christians. He has marked and is preserving you in His baptismal grace, delivering you into salvation. In the Name + of Jesus. Amen. O Lord, You delivered Your promises to your people of old, and You have delivered Jesus to all mankind. Keep us steadfast in your grace, that we may receive the eternal life promised therein, in Jesus' name. Amen.Rev. In this episode of Gospel Spice, Stephanie Rousselle invites us to explore the theme of identity and belonging, centered on what it means to be “in Christ.” Building upon the previous episode on adoption (See Episode 409), we ponder how our sense of self is transformed and anchored by God's love, the work of Christ, and the sealing of the Holy Spirit. The Seal of the Holy Spirit: Marked as Belonging In Ephesians 1:13, Paul writes that believers are “sealed with the Holy Spirit.” Stephanie invites us to consider a seal as it was in ancient times—a stamp pressed into soft wax, leaving a permanent imprint. In this analogy, we are like the wax, transformed and marked by the very nature and authority of God Himself. This seal signifies both our identity—we are marked as God's own—and our security. Just as a sealed envelope is protected and identified by its seal, we are both set apart and protected through the Spirit. Satan may attempt to attack or tempt us, but he cannot invade what has been sealed by God. The Intimacy and Assurance of the Spirit The Holy Spirit is the real, tangible presence of God in us—a downpayment of our future inheritance with Him. Stephanie encourages us to let the Spirit guide and comfort us, reminding us of God's love, providing peace in hardship, and strengthening us with God's own power. The assurance that God delights in us isn't because of our greatness, but because of His extravagant love and the transformation He accomplishes within us. The Spirit teaches us not only of God's love for us, but enables us to truly love Him in return. Belonging and the Two Dimensions of the Gospel Paul describes our identity as involving both a vertical and horizontal dimension: our faith in Christ (vertical) and our love for one another (horizontal), forming a cross-shaped understanding of the gospel. In Christ, we belong not only to God, but also to one another as members of His body, the church. This new community is called out, sealed, and set apart for God's purposes. Seated with Christ: Rest and Purpose A powerful image throughout Ephesians is that we are “seated with Christ” (Ephesians 2:6). In the ancient temple, priests never sat because their work was unfinished. By contrast, Christ, having completed His redemptive work, sits at God's right hand. Astonishingly, we are invited to sit with Him—not striving for salvation, but resting in what He has accomplished. This gives us assurance: nothing can add or take away from our salvation. We are saved by grace, freed for good works—expressions of thanksgiving and calling, not requirements to earn favor. The “But God” Moment Paul paints the “before and after” of our lives: once alienated, separated, and without hope, “but God” intervened in mercy, bringing us near by the blood of Christ. Our past no longer defines us; our new status as beloved, adopted children of God does. Takeaway: Becoming Who You Are in Christ Paul encourages us to hunger for deeper intimacy with God and to rest in the truth that our core identity is found in Christ, sealed by the Spirit, and expressed in loving Him and others. Our calling and purpose flow from being secure in this identity. As Stephanie reminds us, nothing beats knowing Christ and growing daily into the fullness of who we are in Him. ----- IDENTITY IN THE BATTLE WORKBOOK ------ You have the option to go beyond listening to this series, and to participate actively. Gospel Spice exists to inspire our generation to delight in God. We do this through the podcast, online Bible studies, leadership trainings, and more. We want to serve Christ-followers who seek to live a life spiced with the gospel. We want to love God, because He first loved us. We want to experience the fullness of life with Him—and not be content with stale, boring, leftover faith. Jesus tells us that the most important thing is to love the Lord our God, so we take Him seriously. He adds that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. Now, there are many ways to do that, but I have always personally felt deep compassion for victims of human trafficking – it is modern day slavery, and it revolts the heart of God. And so, they are our particular neighbors here at Gospel Spice. We want to play our part in raising awareness and then financially supporting those who fight this great evil. Now we would love to invite you to join the team in one of three ways: 1, pray Gospel Spice forward – pray for our guests, our listeners and participants, and for us too! 2, play Gospel Spice forward by telling your friends about us, and by please leaving positive reviews and comments on your podcast listening app; and 3rd, PAY GospelSpice forward. Less than 1% of our listeners are supporting us financially. We need your help! Please pay Gospel Spice forward today. It can be a one-time donation, or a monthly one, for the amount of your choice. Your donation is fully tax-deductible in the US. Plus, once we cover our costs, a significant portion of your donation will be given back to Christian organizations that fight human trafficking, and that we vet thoroughly. Daniel Flynn's book is titled, "The Man Who Invented Conservatism: The Unlikely Life of Frank S. Meyer." Mr. Flynn points out in his introduction that "Meyer travels from communist to conservative, peace activist to soldier, Jew to Catholic, rhapsodist of Satan to cheerleader for Reagan, and free love enthusiast to family man." Flynn, who is a senior editor at the American Spectator and a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution, tells readers how he found the forgotten papers of Frank Meyer. Love to hear from you; “Send us a Text Message”A Claymore Sword on the wall, sweat from a hard ride, and a straight look at the battlefield we all feel but rarely name. Jack traces a line from John Paul II's “final confrontation” warning to today's cultural flashpoints and ask what it really means to fight for the dignity of the human person and the covenant of man and woman without losing our charity—or our nerve. Along the way, we wrestle with scandal inside the Church, why “dialogue” without truth becomes doublespeak, and how honoring those who legislate against life confuses the faithful and emboldens a counterfeit moral vision. Here are the links to Jack's Substack and X https://x.com/JP2RenewalDownload the Claymore Battle Plan https://jp2renew.org/claymore/Contact us: info@jp2renew.orgSupport the show
Friends of the Rosary,Yesterday, the Church celebrated the Feast of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, who are venerated in the Christian tradition.Michael (Who is like God?), the archangel who fought against Satan and all his evil angels, is our protector from the snares of the devil. Gabriel (Strength of God) announced to Zachariah the forthcoming birth of John the Baptist, and to Mary, the birth of Jesus. His greeting to the Virgin, "Hail, full of grace," is one of the most frequent prayers. Raphael (Medicine of God) is the archangel who took care of Tobias on his journey. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches us that the existence of spiritual, non-corporeal angels is a truth of faith. The name angel means servant or messenger of God.In the liturgy, the Church joins with the angels to adore the Trinitarian God, invoking their assistance,Angels are pure, celestial, or heavenly spirits created on a higher order than human beings. They have intellect and will, and are immortal. They are a vast multitude, but each is an individual person. Archangels are one of the nine choirs of angels listed in the Bible. In ascending order, the choirs or classes are 1) Angels, 2) Archangels, 3) Principalities, 4) Powers, 5) Virtues, 6) Dominations, 7) Thrones, 8) Cherubim, and 9) Seraphim.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! The plans are in place for a global war encompassing the United States, Russia, China, Iran, and Israel. Palantir's Alex Karp guarantees it. Right on schedule we are being told that Osama Bin Laden's son is planning terrorists attacks in the U.S. on hospitals by pretending to be doctors. The narrative is already established that Muslims want to burn down all Christian churches. But who blows up hospitals and churches, and who dresses like someone else to do it on occasion? It isn't the Muslim. Furthermore, who just labeled Christianity as a hate group? The ADL, not the Muslim brotherhood. The stage is set and plan in place to the next 911 as not merely a trigger for war but as a justification for the forced acceptance of the digital global ID run by Oracle and OpenAI among others. *The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. A "party spirit" isn't actually as fun as it sounds. Paul once gave us a list of "deeds of the flesh," including "hatreds, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions," and the one we'll look at today: "factions." An older translation gives that as "party spirit," as in a political party - we would say, "partisanship." Why do Christians divide themselves into streams of teaching, or teachers? We need to stop. Continuation of Zechariah study (chapter 2). Connection to previous teaching on the Feast of Tabernacles—God's appointed times foreshadow His redemptive plan. Emphasis: Jesus is the only perfect role model; all others fall short. Key Vision: The Measuring Line Zechariah sees a man measuring Jerusalem. Message: Jerusalem will expand beyond walls, inhabited with abundance. God Himself promises to be a wall of fire around Jerusalem and glory within it. Points forward to the New Jerusalem (Revelation) where God is the light and dwelling place. Prophetic Themes God's Set Times & Plan The feasts are God's appointments, not just Israel's. Fulfilled in Jesus' first coming; final fulfillment awaits His return. God's plan is global: from a lamb for one (Isaac) → family (Passover) → nation (Levitical priesthood) → whole world (Christ). Judgment on Nations Nations opposing Israel touch “the apple of God's eye” and will face judgment. Zechariah links closely with Revelation and Daniel: warnings of Babylon (world system) and call to “come out” from it. America and modern nations risk falling into Babylon's errors of pride, wealth, and forgetfulness of God. Messiah's Coming & Millennial Kingdom Jesus will dwell among His people; many nations will join the Lord. Three main judgments: Judgment Seat of Christ – believers' works judged, not salvation. Sheep & Goats Judgment – survivors of tribulation separated (Matthew 25). Great White Throne – final judgment of unbelievers. Natural people will survive into the Millennium; children born then must choose Christ. Some will still rebel, even with direct access to Jesus. Millennial Realities Long life restored; judgment executed swiftly by Christ ruling with a rod of iron. Feast of Tabernacles continues during the Millennium—nations refusing to honor it will suffer drought. Satan will be bound for 1,000 years, then released briefly to deceive again, before final destruction. Warnings & Applications Human rebellion: Even in perfect conditions with Christ present, some will still reject Him—showing the depth of human pride and sin. True justice: God's judgment is righteous, unlike human corruption; He sees hearts and thoughts. Modern relevance: America, like Israel, risks judgment by forgetting God, trusting in wealth, and opposing His purposes. Encouragements Believers' sins are covered and forgotten in Christ—salvation brings complete forgiveness. History and prophecy confirm God's sovereignty: His Word and His promises always come to pass. Psalm 2 reminds us: though nations rage, God laughs at their plans. Christ will reign as King of Kings. Closing Prophecy read from 2020: America missed her day of visitation; the world is descending toward its appointment with the Creator. Urgent call: Prepare for God's appointments, trust Christ fully, and remain faithful. Ended with the Lord's Prayer.
2 Corinthians 12:5-10….I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses. Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say, or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. When we look at our lives, they are full of victories and full of setbacks. In these verses, Paul clarifies the true source of strength. God's strength. He also speaks of ‘a thorn in the flesh', placed there to keep him from being conceited. It's interesting to reframe the challenges in our life, failures in our life, and seeing even those play a divine purpose in our lives. What area of your life feels weak right now? What is the difficulty in your life right now?"When I am weak, then I am strong."This message is countercultural to our society which preaches self-reliance. Can you admit your weakness to God right now?Ask for him to give you not only the strength to make it through but also the awareness that in your weakness, He is strong, Turning all things for your good and His gloryLet's pray: “Holy Father, thank you for your power that shines in my weakness. I confess my failings, I confess my weakness, and I acknowledge those areas of struggle and hardship in the very areas where are you are shining brightest through me.”
The sermon centers on the necessity of maintaining a Christ-centered identity and spiritual vigilance amid escalating spiritual warfare, emphasizing that victory is achieved not by fixating on darkness but by anchoring oneself in the light of Jesus Christ. It critiques both paranoid overemphasis on demonic oppression and complacent cultural accommodation, advocating instead for a balanced, biblically grounded view where believers are free from demonic bondage at conversion but must remain vigilant against sin and unbelief that can leave them vulnerable. The speaker calls for discernment in the end times, identifying global trends—such as European unity, the rise of New Age spirituality, and the resurgence of religious and political systems aligned with spiritual harlotry—as manifestations of Satan's final fury, while urging believers to prepare through prayer, sanctification, and a deepened commitment to God's redemptive purposes for Israel. Ultimately, the message is one of urgent intercession and unity, calling the church to stand with the Jewish people, embrace the prophetic destiny of Israel, and participate in God's final work of reconciliation and restoration through Christ.
Jimmy Talks about all the craziness going on in this country and how he believes that Satan is running the whole thing! Why is everyone all the sudden hating Christians but glorifying anything that's unmoral?
During today's conversation on the porch, Lisa, Allison, and Dr. Brian Litfin unpack the Nicene Creed, emphasizing the Trinity's unity, the power of the resurrection, and the role of the Holy Spirit. Dr. Litfin contrasts the gospel's hope with pagan despair, giving historical and cultural insight into Christ's victory over sin, death, and Satan. You might be asking - How does this all apply to us today? Listen in as we discuss – right here on the porch!
Welcome to one of the wildest nights we've had on Real Ghost Stories Online Live — where haunted tech, ghostly goodbyes, cursed bunk beds, and paranormal scandals all collide in one packed show. Here's what you'll hear in this full episode:
Jude reminds believers of God's protection, warns us of false preachers, and tells us that every movement God blesses is also in danger of being subverted by Satan.
Let none think that Satan retreats from his prey without resolve to return. He is tireless in his malice and relentless in his schemes. The evil spirit, finding no rest, returns to the soul it once occupied, and finding it empty—brings with him a company more wicked than himself. Thus the last state becomes worse than the first. Here Christ shows us the desperate folly of resting in temporary deliverance without seeking lasting union with himself. It is not enough to expel sin; it must be replaced with righteousness. It is not enough to cast out the devil; the Spirit of Christ must dwell within.
