Our Guest: Lucie Tassel--Lucie Tassel is an artist with ' experience, and a completely atypical background.-Being French, she naturally made her debut in Paris, where she is originally from. Under the direction of Ned Grujic, she played the role of Helen Sinclair in Bullets Over Broadway and was part of the On The Town and Godspell ensembles at the Théâtre des Variétés in Paris. She also played the role of Poncia in Federico García Lorca's play The House of Bernarda Alba at the Théâtre de La Nouvelle Athènes, directed by Guillaume Bouchède. She was also a member of the chorus of the symphony orchestra accompanying Joe Hisaishi on his last tour of France, and the singers of the Chœur à l'horizon, a Paris-based professional chorus specializing in the musical theatre repertoire, created and directed by Nima Santonja. In 2024, she played the lead role of Della in Sneaky Pete's Wild West Dinner Show at the Legacy Dinner Theatre in Wisconsin, USA. She is also the producer and artistic director of the A-Broad'way Cabaret, in collaboration with Kendra McBride as musical director, which opens this November at Green Room 42 in New York City, and in which she will sing alongside other international artists.-Lucie is a graduate of ECM in Paris, a musical comedy school run by Ned Grujic and Véronique Fruchart, where she trained for 3 years in singing (vocal technique, polyphony, musicianship), dance (classical, jazz, tap), theater (classical, contemporary, mime, clowning) and stage combat (swords, batons). —She also trained in cartoon voice-over with Edwige Chandelier. —To complete her professional training, she moved to New York to study at AMDA, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where she benefited from American expertise, honing her skills in singing, dancing and acting.A sportswoman from an early age, she has a passion for salsa and other Latin dances, and enjoys a wide range of disciplines including tennis (her specialty), climbing, skiing, horse-riding and rollerblading. Lucie's career path is atypical: after obtaining her Master's degree in physical and nutritional rehabilitation, she worked as an elementary school teacher in Paris for 5 years before devoting herself fully to the performing arts. Trilingual French-Spanish-English, she is also a traveler who, after visiting several countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and America, fell in love with Venezuela, a country that really helped her grow emotionally and from which she has learned an enormous amount. All these trips, and the people she met along the way, opened her heart and mind, bringing to light what she dared not admit but secretly dreamed of: being an artist.----Join the conversation LiveChat as we raise the questions, give our opinions , and ask you the same questions... --Live Chat with Us Every week... -----Music: Audio Podcast : by Daniel Howse : www.youtube.com/ProfessorSoraMusic ** OneMicNite Theme Song "Chance" & Background Song "Kanye" Host:--Contact/ Follow Marcos on IG/Fb/IMdb/Twitter/TikTok: @MarcosLuis —Show: OneMicNite Podcast with Marcos Luis *Contact/Follow: IG/Fb/Twitter/Tumbler/LinkedIn/Youtube/TikTok @OneMicNite www.OneMicnite.com - - ** Listen to Audio Podcast: Available wherever you download , all digital platforms.. ** Support Us Now: http:www.Anchor.fm/onemicnitetalk ---Follow/Contact -- The Show: All Social Media Fb/Ig/Twitter/Tumbler/TikTok/ *** watch the episodes on Youtube @OneMicNite & www.OneMicNite.com****Please Support this Podcast: PayPal/ Zell Pay: MarcosStarActor@gmail.com Venmo @ Marcoso-Luis-1 CashApp : $MarcosLuis1 Please Visit: The AzulesEn Online store to find Products that Compliment your Lifestyle: Link : https://azulesen.myshopify.com/products/onemicnite-signature-logo-unisex-talk-live-pod-tee --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/onemicnite/support

Jennifer spills the beans on what it takes to be an actress in Hollywood. We talk "Beverly Hills Housewives", how your gal pal will cover your problem spots in lesbian love scenes, poker, glamour, getting hit on by producers, and the indignity of promoting yourself by going on to podcasts like this one.Bio: Jennifer Tilly received an Academy Award nomination for her role in Woody Allen's “Bullets Over Broadway” for her memorable portrayal of the terribly untalented Olive, actress wannabe, and gangster's moll. Her performance in “Liar Liar” as Jim Carrey's gold-digging client earned her an American Comedy Award nomination, as well as a Blockbuster award nomination as Favorite Supporting Actress.Tilly is perhaps best known from the indie noir film “Bound”, which has earned her a cult following. “Bound,” directed by the Wachowski's follows two lesbian con artists trying to rip off the mob. The film garnered many accolades including a GLAAD media award, and a Saturn award nomination (Best Actress) for Tilly. Other film credits include “The Getaway,” “The Fabulous Baker Boys,” “Let It Ride,” “The Cat's Meow,” “Intervention,”(Winner-Best Actress-San Diego Film Festival) “Dancing at the Blue Iguana,” “Made in America,” “Bride of Chucky,” (Saturn Award nominee-Best Actress) “Seed of Chucky,” “Curse of Chucky,” “Cult of Chucky,” “The Crew,” “The Wrong Guy,” “Inconceivable,” (Winner-Best Actress-WIFT) “An American Girl,” “Edie and Penn,” “Hide and Seek,” “Saint Ralph,” “The Doors,” ”Relative Evil” (Winner-Best Actress-DVD Exclusive Awards) “Second Best,” “Tidelands,” and many more. Other notable TV appearances include “Modern Family,” “Drop Dead Diva,” “Moonlighting,” “Cheers,” and “Frasier.” She had recurring roles on “Hill Street Blues,” “It's Garry Shandling's show (Ace award nomination-Best Actress) and “Out of Practice” (CBS). She was a series regular on “Key West” (Fox) and “Shaping Up.” (NBC) Tilly is in great demand as a voice over actor. For the last twenty-two years she has delighted audiences as Bonnie on “Family Guy.” She played the snaky haired Celia in Pixar's classic movie “Monster's Inc.,” as well as the Disney+ series “Monsters at Work,” Grace, the new age cow in Disney's “Home on the Range,” a con mouse in “Stuart Little,” and Madame Leota in “The Haunted Mansion.”Theatre credits include "Tartuffe," (LA Public Theatre) "Boy's Life" (LAAT) and "Baby With The Bathwater," (LAPT) and “Vanities,” (Dramalogue Award-Best Actress) She received a “TheatreWorld Award” (Best Newcomer) for her performance in Second Stage's "One Shoe Off" at the Joseph Papp Theatre.  Tilly is also a regular performer in the smash hit comedy revue, “Celebrity Autobiography” and Illeana Douglas' “Living Room Show.” These days Jennifer is dividing her career between acting and poker. In 2005 she astounded the Poker world when she bested a field of over 600 women to win the coveted gold bracelet at The World Series of Poker. She followed that up by capturing a WPT title, winning Ladies Night 3.

Thanks to her competitiveness in sports and being a “terrible loser”, Hannah Cruz found her way into performing and theatre. She shares insights into her journey, including going viral on YouTube and getting asked to audition for “Legally Blonde”, and eventually moving to New York. She opens up about the pressures of performing, including the constant self-doubt and anxiety she experiences, her struggles with perfectionism, and the internal battle to find validation in her work. Having played complex characters such as Eliza in “Hamilton”, and Robin in “The Connector”, she sheds light on the emotional depth required to portray them, the research process involved in preparing for these roles, and the personal connections she has forged with her characters. As someone who learned from her co-actors' tough love, Hannah believes that for musical theatre, you don't necessarily have to go to school to be the best. Currently making her Broadway debut as Inez Milholland in “SUFFS”, she shares how it differs from pre-Broadway, why silence is essential (and powerful) in a show, and the importance of providing the most truthful performance to the audience. Hannah Cruz was most recently seen in the off-Broadway production of “The Connector”. Her additional off-Broadway credits include “Only Gold” and “SUFFS”. On tour and regionally, she was seen in “Hamilton”, “Bullets Over Broadway”, “The Da Vinci Code”, and “Young Frankenstein”. She is now making her Broadway debut in the Broadway transfer of “SUFFS”, playing the incomparable Inez Milholland. The Broadway Workroom is designed to showcase emerging artists' work by providing rehearsal and presentation space, including technical support, at no cost to the production in order to help the team further their creative goals along the developmental journey. At the end of each week, the public is invited, at no cost, to experience these dynamic new musicals in concert at Open Jar Studios (1601 Broadway). Tickets for each concert are free, and attendees are encouraged to make a donation to The Stage Door Foundation to help fund their programs. The Broadway Workroom Series provides a rare opportunity for Broadway enthusiasts to witness the evolution of new musicals, a process typically reserved for industry insiders during private "workshops" or "readings. The series' vibe is to present glimpses of shows in their development phases, with focus on the writing and performances and less attention to production value.

"Tenet is a film about many things, from entropy to time travel, Armageddon to environmentalism. But it's also a film about Robert Pattinson wearing a succession of truly astonishing suits. For that, we thank Jeffrey Kurland. The storied costume designer had previously worked with Nolan on Inception – where he proved his tailoring chops – and Dunkirk, but Tenetposed a very specific set of challenges. The first one being just figuring out what the hell was actually going on. "I read the script at least six times before I even sat down to talk with Chris," Kurland tells me, over the phone, from LA. "That's how you do any Chris Nolan film. The script is there, and it's totally wonderful. And then it's usually up from there. It's always a wild ride." - Tom Banham, Esquire Magazine, September 22nd, 2020 Jeffrey Kurland began his career in costume design in New York City. After graduating from Northwestern University with a B.A. in design, he moved to the east coast to design for the theatre. Jeffrey soon segued into designing costumes for film when he began designing the stylish films of director Woody Allen. Jeffrey has the unique distinction of being the costume designer of 15 films for Woody Allen, from the late 1970s to the mid-1990s. He has since realized the visual story for over 40 films, collaborating with such renowned directors as Milos Forman, Neil Jordan, Steven Soderbergh, Michael Mann, and Christopher Nolan. During his career, Jeffrey has dressed a host of leading actors. He has created designs for leading men such as George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, Jamie Foxx, Robert Downey, Jr., Michael Caine, Viggo Mortensen and Leonardo DiCaprio. He has also designed for leading ladies Julia Roberts, Marion Cotillard, Cameron Diaz, Annette Bening, Diane Keaton, Gena Rowlands and Ellen Page. He received a BAFTA Award, Britain's highest film honor, for his designs for Radio Days and an Academy Award nomination for his work on Bullets Over Broadway. Jeffrey was awarded the Costume Designers Guild award for his designs for the film Erin Brockovich and received a nomination for his work on Ocean's 11. His work has also been recognized through being honored with The Hamilton Timeless Style Award. Jeffrey Kurland sits on the board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He co-curated the exhibit 50 Designers/50 Costumes: Concept to Character for the Academy, and his designs have also been featured in several exhibits around the world. He has spoken on the art of costume design in numerous symposia at the Directors Guild of America, the American Film Institute, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and UCLA, where he has also taught. Jeffrey's work is featured in the publications Screencraft: Costume Design, 50 Designers/50 Costumes: Concept to Character and Dressed: A Century of Hollywood Costume Design.

Live Your Life is the story of Nick and Amanda's life together—of their beautiful relationship, of Nick's dramatic fight for survival, of those sudden tragic months that permanently changed her world and ours—and of their interrupted future as a family. Amanda co-wrote the book with the help of her sister Anna, who was with her every step of the journey.   Even in the face of tragedy, Amanda courageously brings her infectious and inspirational attitude to everything that she does. Bullets Over Broadway is the 23rd film written and directed by Woody Allen, first released in 1994. JOHN CUSACK stars as David Shayne, a struggling playwright who agrees to take some mob money to put on his latest play. The catch - he has to cast a mobster's girl, and face off with her bodyguard - in more ways than one. BULLETS OVER BROADWAY is one of Woody Allen's very best films, and it mixes so many elements that makes Allen great. The jazz era setting, the excellent costumes, the memorable characters, the big statement on the nature of art and so much more. It swept the awards season and audiences loved it too. Yes, Bob Saget has starred in many successful television shows, including two of the most family-friendly shows network TV has ever produced ("Full House" and "Americas Funniest Home Videos") but he's also an out of his mind, Grammy-nominated standup comedian for over thirty years. From his HBO special "That Ain't Right" to his scene-stealing cameos in "Entourage," and "The Aristocrats," it's always effective as Saget embraces his dark side. From directing MGM's cult favorite feature film "Dirty Work," to directing and producing the highly acclaimed ABC television movie, "For Hope," to starring in the critically acclaimed, Paul Weitz off-Broadway play, "Privilege, to starring on Broadway in the Tony Award winning "The Drowsy Chaperone," Bob Saget shows no signs of stopping.  Ever.  In 2007 came the hugely successful DVD release of "Farce of the Penguins," an R-rated comedy/documentary/love story, that he voiced-over, wrote, directed, and produced, with producer David Permut.  And then came the hit NBC quiz show "1 VS 100," where Bob ad-libbed his way through the one-hour prime time format.  In 2008, "The Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget" premiered to the second highest ratings of all TV that night, second only to the Olympics.   For many years now, Bob has been a proud board member of the Scleroderma Research Foundation. He co-produces and hosts "Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine" fundraising events in Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and San Francisco.  To date, they have raised over 53 million dollars for the SRF going directly to research to cure this disease.   Bob was seen several times reprising the role of “Himself” on HBO's hit series “Entourage” as well as a cameo in the film.  He also starred in his own documentary comedy series for A&E titled, “Strange Days with Bob Saget,” an exploration of unusual subcultures in America.     ----------   Robert Reiner was born in New York City, to Estelle Reiner (née Lebost) and Emmy-winning actor, comedian, writer, and producer Carl Reiner. As a child, he often looked up to his father as his inspiration and role-model. Carl Reiner was on The Dick Van Dyke Show, which he created and also starred in. Estelle was the inspiration for Rob Reiner to become a director. Her history as a singer helped him understand how music was used in a scene. Rob often felt pressured about measuring up to his father's twelve Emmys, and prestigious awards and successful streak. When Rob graduated high school, his parents advised him to participate in Summer Theatre. Reiner got a job as an apprentice in the Bucks County Playhouse in Pennsylvania. He went to be further educated at UCLA Film School. Reiner felt he still wasn't successful even having a recurring role on one of the biggest shows in the country, All in the Family. Reiner began his directing career with the Oscar-nominated films This Is Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, and The Princess Bride,. With these successful box-office movies in 1987, Reiner founded his own production company, Castle Rock Entertainment, along with Martin Shafer, Andrew Scheinman, Glenn Padnick, and Alan Horn. For Castle Rock Entertainment, he went to direct the Oscar-nominated films When Harry Met Sally, Misery, and A Few Good Men. Reiner often credits former co-star Carroll O'Connor in helping him get into the directing business, and showing Reiner the ropes. Reiner also is known as a political activist, co-founding the American Foundation For Equal Rights, a group that was an advisory for same-sex-marriage. Reiner has spoken at several rallies on several controversial topics, and is also seen as an advocate on social issues, such as domestic violence and tobacco use. Reiner has also made cameos on show like 30 Rock, The Simpsons, and Hannah Montana, and in the films The First Wives Club, Bullets Over Broadway, Primary Colors, and Throw Momma From The Train, among many others.
