The only studio album recorded by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as a duo is being re-issued for the very first time TODAY. Originally released in 1973 and recorded at Sound City Studios, this record introduced the duo’s incomparable harmonies alongside their individual styles.  The re-issue is sourced from the original analog master tapes and was produced by Keith Olsen.  In 1974, while Mick Fleetwood was scouting for a new studio for Fleetwood Mac’s next album, he visited Sound City Studios where Olsen shared “Frozen Love” to showcase both his production work and the studio’s sound. Soon after, Fleetwood Mac found themselves in need of a new guitarist. Remembering “Frozen Love,” Fleetwood reached out to offer Buckingham the spot, but Buckingham insisted he and Nicks were a package deal. The rest is history.

Their growing fandom among a new generation has created demand for the long out-of-print album Buckingham Nicks, the 1973 album by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks recorded before they joined Fleetwood Mac. The vinyl record is a collector's item, as this pre-band album helped secure the duo their spot in Fleetwood Mac. Now after four decades, on September 19th, the album is being reissued by Rhino Records. A few months back we looked at the legacy of Fleetwood Mac and spoke with Andrew Bird and Madison Cunningham about their reinterpretation of the beloved Buckingham Nicks. It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. Ozzy is survived by his wife Sharon, his daughter Kelly and his son Jack. There is information about the drowning death of Malcolm-Jamal Warner. Sources said Warner died on Sunday at Costa Rica's Playa Grande Beach while on a family vacation. The beach has been called "challenging," and there were signs in English and Spanish warning about the risk of drowning. There were no lifeguards present due to a lack of resources. The Caribbean Guard stated, "Although there were people on the beach who entered the water to rescue him, they did not arrive in time. He was pulled from underwater without vital signs, and despite CPR maneuvers being performed on the beach, resuscitation was unsuccessful."Warner was 54. Slipknot Fans Frustrated After Countdown Timer Ends In Disappointment Slipknot fans are in revolt after the band's mysterious countdown timer ended in disappointment. The timer was set to expire at 3pm ET on Monday - but once it reached zero, fans encountered server issue errors and requests to try again later. It's a billboard on L.A.'s Sunset Strip featuring the cover of their 1973 pre-Fleetwood Mac-album Buckingham Nicks, along with the date Sept. 19th. Last week, Nicks and Buckingham each posted a lyric from "Frozen Love", a song from the album.
