Nueva entrega del coleccionable dedicado a recordar las canciones que alcanzaron su máximo puesto en las listas del Billboard Hot 100 de este mes hace 60 años. Bob Crewe1930- 2014Inducted Into The Songwriters Hall Of Fame In 1995.While songwriter/producer/recording star, Bob Crewe, is perhaps best remembered for the notable parade of hits penned with co-writer Bob Gaudio for Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, his songwriting credits began considerably earlier. In the early '50s, New Jersey-born Crewe first tasted success on the music charts with writing teammate Frank Slay with a batch of hits for a variety of artists. Among the best known were "Silhouettes" and "Daddy Cool" for The Rays; "Lah Dee Dah" and "Lucky Ladybug" for Billy and Lillie; and Freddy Cannon's "Tallahassee Lassie" and "Okefenokee."In 1961, Crewe also blossomed as a recording artist himself, with a pair of solo albums on Warwick Records. Kicks, featuring "The Whiffenpoof Song," and Crazy in the Heart, both produced by one of the more colorful producers of that time.Following these successes as a solo recording act, Crewe joined forces with songwriter Bob Gaudio, and good fortune struck almost immediately for the pair with the smash hit, "Sherry," for Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Thus began a years-long association with an uninterrupted string of chart successes including "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Rag Doll," "Ronnie," "Walk Like a Man," "Bye Bye Baby" and "Connie 0," as well as the monumental Frankie Valli hit, "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You."Other Crewe and Gaudio successes include "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine," for The Walker Brothers and "Silence Is Golden" by The Tremeloes. Following this phase, Crewe moved out again on his own to form The Bob Crewe Generation ("Music to Watch Girls By"), utilizing studio musicians and original material for instrumental music collections. Bob Crewe later teamed with writer, Charles Fox, in penning the soundtrack for Dino De Laurentis' film, "Barbarella."During the mid-sixties, Bob Crewe turned discoverer, locating a band known as Billy Lee and The Rivieras, which he later re-named, Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels, a major success on the charts with such Crewe-arranged smashes as "Jenny Take a Ride," "Devil With the Blue Dress On" and "Sock It to Me Baby."As the '60s were coming to a close, Crewe had also established his own recording firm, Crewe Records, which owned hits by Oliver and Lesley Gore, among others. Later, Crewe wrote and produced the song, "Eternity," which became an international hit for Vicki Carr. Following a short stay with Motown Records, when he produced what turned out to be Bobby Darin's final album, Crewe rejoined forces with Bob Gaudio and Frankie Valli, and bought back from Motown the tape master for Valli's "My Eyes Adored You," a song co-written with Kenny Nolan, which became a huge new hit for Valli on Private Stock Records. The song "Lady Marmalade," another joint effort for Crewe and Nolan, went on to reach hit status and also helped re-establish Patti LaBelle as an artist of major stature.Still later, Crewe and Gaudio teamed with another writer, Jerry Corbetta, in penning the hit song "You're Looking Like Love to Me," for Roberta Flack and Peabo Bryson. Crewe also collaborated with Corbetta and the writer, Ellie Greenwich, in producing the original cast album for Greenwich's Broadway musical, "Leader of the Pack."In addition to his music, Crewe also owned impressive credentials in the art world. He has designed numerous album covers and has been featured in several one-man gallery showings, including The Earl McGrath Gallery and Thomas Solomon's Garage in Los Angeles.

"Palisades Park" (from Wikipedia)Chuck Barris wrote a song about an amusement park and it was suggested he use the name of an amusement park as the title. One night he was in Manhattan when he looked toward the New Jersey Palisades Cliffs, on which the amusement park sat. That was when inspiration hit and the title was added. Years later the Palisades Amusement Park closed, on September 12, 1971.[2] A tribute to New Jersey's Palisades Amusement Park, it is an up-tempo rock and roll tune led by a distinctive organ part. The track also incorporates amusement park sound effects, including the sounds of screaming riders on the roller coasters, and the quoting of a slower version of "Entrance of the Gladiators", played on an organ imitating a hurdy-gurdy or calliope. In the song, the singer takes a walk after dark and discovers Palisades Park, where he meets and falls in love with a girl. Among the list of rides and attractions listed in the song are: Shoot the Chute, Rocket Ship, Roller Coaster, Loop the Loop, Merry Go Round, Tunnel of Love, and the Ferris Wheel.Chart performanceReleased by Swan Records as a B-side to "June, July and August," "Palisades Park" broke in when a Flint, Michigan radio DJ played it by mistake. It peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 on 23–30 June 1962,[3] On the Hot R&B Sides chart, the song went to #15.[4] "Palisades Park" was the biggest hit of Cannon's career.[5]And, check out Freddy Cannon's webpage:https://www.freddycannon.com/default.htm

Our story begins with the star of a new show who is unhappy with the song her upstart writers have given her to perform. In a panicky phone call, she persuades a more established composer to come up with something she thinks will be more worthy of her talents. The show, in fact, turns out to be a dog — vaudeville's “Betsy” has only 39 performances between December 1926 and January 1927 — but oh, that song! Irving Berlin's “Blue Skies” was an instant hit with the audience on the “Betsy” opening night. The song literally stopped the show. Twenty-four encores! During her final repetition, star Belle Baker actually forgot the lyrics, prompting a bit of Broadway lore when Berlin himself sang the words for her from his front-row seat. And Those Disdained Upstarts? As it happened, Berlin had written the new “Blue Skies” a few weeks earlier as a Christmas gift for his newborn daughter, Mary Ellin.Berlin agreed to let the composition be a last-minute addition to the show, even though he usually resented the interpolation of songs by other composers into the score of his shows, say biographers Philip Furia and Michael Lasser.“But,” the writers add, “he must have been delighted at the chance to work one of his songs into a score by the young songwriting team who were already being compared to Gilbert and Sullivan,” namely, a couple of newcomers named, ahem, Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. Big Time on the Big ScreenIf its reputation relied only on that failed 1927 Ziegfield musical, we probably wouldn't know “Blue Skies” nowadays. But the song's real fame came later that same year with “The Jazz Singer,” the first full-length motion picture to have sound; it starred Al Jolson singing nine songs, one of which was the brand new “Blue Skies.” And that was just the beginning of the song's celluloid celebrity. It later was featured in “Alexander's Ragtime Band” (1938), a biopic inspired by Irving Berlin, and the 1946 film “Blue Skies” starring Bing Crosby, then in the 1954 “White Christmas” with Crosby singing it with Danny Kaye. And of course, the song has jazz cred too. Ella Fitzgerald scatted a version for her eight-album “Song Book” series. Count Basie and Benny Goodman's recordings hit #8 and #9 respectively on the pop charts. The song has contributed to the country and western songbook too. It was a standard by 1939 when Moon Mullican recorded it. Willie Nelson's 1978 release was a #1 country music hit. The Star Trek ConnectionThe song even has gotten air time in outer space. It was featured prominently in the 2002 film “Star Trek: Nemesis,” as sung by Commander Data (Brent Spiner) during a wedding scene at the start of the story. It is sung again at the very end of the film by Data's "brother," the android B-4, during the final scene set in the 24th century, a time period not revisited by the Trek franchise for another 18 years, with the release of “Star Trek: Picard” in 2020. "Blue Skies" is featured in that series' premiere episode and again in the 10th episode.New Generations “Blue Skies” has clicked with generations of performers and audiences, from Freddy Cannon, Della Reese, Jim Reeves and Bobby Darin in the 1960s to Lyle Lovett, Dr. John and Eva Cassidy in the 1990s to Debby Boone and Rod Stewart in the 2000s.We'll Bring “Blue Skies” to Sal's TonightThe song will be on tap when the Family Flood returns to Sal's Italian Eatery & Speakeasy in Ashland, Ky., tonight. We're excited to be there, and, best of all, The Chick Singer is back! Yes, Floodster Emerita Michelle Hoge (whom the late Joe Dobbs christened "da chick singer" years ago) is coming in from Cincinnati just to sit in with her old band mates for the evening. It's going to be epic! We'll be playing from 6 to 9 p.m.By the way, if you've not yet had The Sal's Experience, this would be a great chance to enjoy this remarkable venue in downtown Ashland. This week, Janet Alldis joins us to talk about her famous father, radio presenter Barry Alldis. Benny Brown describes the history of Radio Luxembourg and its importance. Janet Alldis is rightly proud of her father, Barry Alldis, who was a DJ on Radio Luxembourg 208. Unfortunately he died too young, very suddenly at 51 and it was only then than Janet saw the influence he had had on his listeners. The family were inundated with boxes of tributes. From then on, Janet has worked hard to keep the memory of her father alive; firstly publishing a book full of interviews, and now with a song, 'Under The Covers', which she wrote and is co-produced by Freddy Cannon. You can vote for the song on the Heritage Charts in the UK - please do so! The song is also available on Spotify. "Dad's life was all about music and so I too had the urge to express my feelings and childhood memories into a song. It is my story," says Janet. Benny Brown has worked on radio in Luxembourg for so many years, one might think of him as 'the last man standing' in radio here. Born in San Francisco, Benny obtained his first job in radio as a teenager in Hawaii, by mowing the grass at the local radio station in return for "free" records! He's been enamored with radio all his life, and as a teen listened to lots of faraway radio stations late at night. Benny came to Europe after military service in Vietnam. He was on the air with AFN in Frankfurt, and then lured to Radio Luxembourg in 1979 by their Programme Director in London (Tony Prince.) At the time, Radio Luxembourg 208 was the world's most powerful commercial radio station, and Benny was working with their medium and short wave broadcasts, as well as with Luxembourg's 'Community Radio' every afternoon. Benny Brown was twice selected by Billboard Magazine as the 'International Radio Personality of the Year.' Later, while based in London, Benny worked with European syndicated radio programming. In the German language, Benny hosted the weekly 'American Top 40', which was the world's most-listened-to radio program. Benny was on the radio at RTL's Radio Letzebuerg from 8 to 11pm for eight years from 2008 thru 2015. And since 2015, he's regularly heard on Luxembourg's Radio 100,7. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Alldis https://open.spotify.com/album/41lsEEToFMPXsacumu6rlj?si=hoeAbsCPRLG-yxpwERA9Tw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHyqvVUoFhE heritagechart.co.uk

Then we rock out big time to some of our favourite music films from the 60s, 70s and 80s.Wild Guitar (1962) - Arch Hall Jr might not have been anybody's idea of a rock idol, but his dad was a film producer, so this is how he got his rockin' start. He then went on to appear in The Choppers and The Sadist. Disk-O-Tek Holiday (1966) - One of the best preserved rock films, scanned from the original negative and starring 20 great performances by vintage rock acts culminating in an astounding "almost live" medley by Freddy Cannon and the Ramrods.Musical Mutiny (1970) - The multi-talented Barry Mahon directed this rock film about the ghost of a pirate taking over a theme park and staging a rock concert. Iron Butterfly perform on stage in this lunatic time capsule from an era long gone. Toomorrow (1970) - This bizarre sci-fi musical about a dying aliens seeking 'vibes' from a pop band on Earth was such a disaster that the lead, a young Olivia Newton-John, gave up acting for eight years, until her agent persuaded her to do Grease. Has to be seen to be believed. Rock'n'Roll Nightmare (1987) - Rock band practicing in isolated farmhouse get more than they bargained for when evil haunts the place and turns the band members into demons from hell. Based on the success of this Canuxploitation, director John Fasano would the following year go on to make: Black Roses (1988) - Metal band come to play in a small town. Conservative parents are won over, but wait until they see the band hypnotise their children into crazed murderous hordes. The demon band on stage looks like Finnish band Lordi. Hell′s Bells - the Dangers of Rock′n′Roll (1989) - Documentary warning about the dangers of the Devil's music - if the previous two films were not warning enough. Ola & Julia (1967) - A Romeo-Juliet story of singer meeting actress but their band/troupe don't get on. Stars real-life singer of Ola & the Janglers. Grejen (1966) and Drra på - kul grej på väg till Götet / A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Gothenburg (1967) - popular Swedish 60's band Lee Kings, joined in the latter film by a bunch of other popular Swedish bands (and comedians as their managers) who go on a madcap race from Stockholm to Gothenburg. Singing ensues. Under ditt parasoll / Under Your Parasol (1968) - The band Sven Ingvars went broke (literally) making this bizarre road movie-musical: promenade orchestra 1912, pop band with electric guitars and revolver duelling cowboys in Desperado City!Blödaren / The Bleeder (1982) - Female rock band ends up in an abandoned house with a psycho killer. Happy birthday, Freddy Cannon! Freddy's music was a rock'n'roll radio staple in the late 50's and early 60's. His first hit "Tallahassee Lassie" was written by Freddy and producers Bob Crewe and Frank Slay. As Freddy tells me in the interview, the idea for the song came from his mother! Dick Clark (who co-owned Freddy's label Swan Records) suggested the record be edited to highlight the pounding bass drum, and Freddy became known as Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon for the thumping power of his music. "Tallahassee Lassie" hit the Top Ten in July 1959, and was awarded a gold disc by the RIAA. His next record, "Way Down Yonder In New Orleans", rocketed up the charts in January 1960. It was his biggest hit and also sold a million. One of Freddy's biggest hits came in June 1962 with "Palisades Park", written by Chuck Barris. The song was originally written for Dion and it was called "Amusement Park" but producers Crewe and Slay changed the title. Another Top 10 million seller! Freddy came to Vancouver in 1963 for a show with Gene Pitney, The Chiffons, and Bobby Vinton. He signed with Warner Brothers that same year and he recorded his last two hits "Abigail Beecher" in 1964 and "Action" (the theme song to the TV series "Where the Action Is", a spin-off of American Bandstand) in 1965. Both failed to crack the Top 10. After leaving WB in 1967, he continued to work with Dick Clark at his Bandstand reunion concerts and to tour all over the world. Did you know Freddy appeared on "Bandstand" more than 100 times? Freddy returned to Vancouver in 1985 for The Legends Of Rock'n'Roll preview show. That's where we recorded this interview. Freddy lives in sunny Oxnard, CA today and you can keep in touch at freddycannon.com

Josef Laufer and the Golem Group - Ďábel diskoték (Disco Duck) (1977) A Czech version of the Rick Dees American hit. Frantz - Exhibition Tonight (1983) Freddy Cannon with Ron Dante - Down On Beale Street (2019) I have featured both of these guys from time to time. Not always in a flattering light. So it goes. Ennio Morricone - Here's To You (1971) (feat. Joan Baez) This song, from the movie Sacco and Vanzetti, has its own Wikipedia page. You should read about Sacco and Vanzetti. James Luther Dickinson - John Brown (1972) Linda Sexton - Unborn (197?) Lyn Todd - Devil Woman (1980) Claude Peloquin/Jean Sauvageau - Monsieur l'Indien (Quebec 1974) "Recorded in one take, “Monsieur L’Indien’s” haunting loops were created using an analog/mechanical hybrid: small motors rotated an arm equipped with magnets which triggered pre-programmed sensors featuring snares and bass sounds, like the Wurlitzer Sound Man. Péloquin’s contribution was a haunting spoken-word piece about civilization slowly taking over First Nations by building high voltage electric lines around Monsieur l’Indien’s house. It was a slap in the face of Québec’s government, which had nationalized hydroelectricity some ten years earlier. “Frontiers are the hemorrhoids around a nationalist rash,” says Péloquin." The instrument was called a "Sauvageau machine". The Emporium - I'm So Glad/Rain/I Dig Rock and Roll Music (1970) The Tremeloes - Yellow River (1970) Traffic - Paper Sun (1967) I love this song. Always did. Steve Winwood was and is amazing. This was Traffic's first single. Waiting For The Sun - Waiting For the Sun (1978) Golden Half (ゴールデン・ハーフ) - 24,000 Kisses (1972) Wikipedia: Golden Half (Gōruden Hāfu) was an early 1970s J-pop band made up of 5 hafu members including Maria Mori, Eva Mary and Luna Takamura. Golden Half was promoted by Watanabe Productions and was composed in September 1970 to sing and go-go dance on the Fuji TV show BEAT POP. They often sang western pop songs in Japanese and split in 1974. The band appeared in the nightclub scenes in Yasuharu Hasebe's Stray Cat Rock: Sex Hunter where they performed their hit song Kiiroi Sakuranbo ("Yellow Cherry"). WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THEIR PERFORMANCE???? As my son would say, this song slaps. WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THE TRAILER???? Trust me. You both do. Coalkitchen - Keep On Pushin (1977) Listen to the "pushin'" and you'll know it instantly as the hook in the Salt-n-Pepa song to come out years later. Those rap producers were no fools. Thieves. But not fools. Love - Walk Right In (1974) Yes, this is the same Arthur Lee band from psychedelia's heyday. Well, the same brand. Just totally different musicians. Charles Wilp - Werbung als Kunst - Afri Cola Werbung (1968) Another video you HAVE to see. "Sexy-mini-super-flower-pop-op-cola - everything is in Afri-Cola... " Famous models from the 1960s such as Marianne Faithfull, Amanda Lear, Donna Summer, Marsha Hunt [Ed: whom I have featured on this show many times - she had Mick Jagger's baby...] were depicted behind a pane of glass with ice crystals on advertising motifs for the rap-like slogan. According to Wilps, the idea for this arose during a visit to the Marshall Space Center in Huntsville (Alabama), where the Saturn V rocket was built at the time: The frozen, liquid oxygen stored in the workshop led to the formation of ice flowers on the windows of the moving cabins, behind the employees had hung pin-up photos of the 1960s beauties. Project 122 Featuring Charlie Green - Bus Stop (Electric Slide) (1990) Odyssey 5 – Everybody's Complaining (1974) Speed Glue Shinki - Calm Down (1972) Springbok - Night Fever (1978) A South African recording in the spirit of "Now That's What I Call Music", but it predated it. Except none of these recordings are by the original artists. They're cheap knockoffs. The Christopher Hayes Movement - Tribute To Jimi (1970) Marsha Hunt's 22 - Medusa (1973) The Equals - Black Skin Blue Eyed Boys (1970) Written by Eddie Grant, who, as POACA recall, had a hit with "Electric Avenue". The Piglets - Johnny Reggae (1971) Written, produced, and directed by Jonathan King, a relatively big deal in the UK (he came up with the "Ooga Chacka" intro to "Hooked On A Feeling" which was the hook for the US hit by Blue Swede) but in the US his only hit was "Everyone's Gone To The Moon" in 1967. He was another version of Kim Fowley, ever-teetering on the edge of an entire era without actually making any sort of big artistic difference. The Surfers - Windsurfin' (1978) It takes about 16 years for a trend to make it from the US to Sweden, I guess. The Wildweeds - I'm Dreaming (1968) Cadet Concept was the same label that featured Rotary Connection. Tony Fabbri - Tony The Cool Casanova (197?) I can find very little information on this guy, but I like this song for some reason. C.W. McCall - Kidnap America (1980) C.W. McCall was a character created by musician Billy Dale, for his advertising agency. The character was created for and first appeared in a commercial for Old Home Bread. Then, with producer Chip Davis, later to be famous for Mannheim Steamroller, he recorded a smash hit in the '70s with their CB/Trucker song, Convoy. This particular song was recorded in response to the hostage crisis in Iran from the previous year. Its effect remains to be fully measured. Moon Blood - Come Out Of Her (1970) Patrice Manget/Blue Gene Tyranny - Condom Sense (1981) Title song to a safe sex education film from 1981. The Residents - Loss of Innocence (1980) My second favorite Residents song. This album featured 40 minute-long songs. The album featured guest singers like Andy Partridge of XTC, Lene Lovich, and David Byrne of Talking Heads. Yes, THAT David Byrne. Amusement parks are caked with sounds A solid hunk of meat A barker's sweat flings from his tongue His tattoo shines with heat A wary stranger stands and sways Enraptured by his stance Two-headed goats come stumbling by And give a troubled glance The barker looks into the eyes The stranger tries to bend The barker swears to more delights For all who seek within The stranger enters canvas doors And smells the fresh-cut hay The barker points to Siamese twins The stranger looks away The eyes of horse-faced women Watch the few who wander through They sense the tension in the air And smell the sweet taboo A heart beats fast against a chest The stranger leaves the tent The waves of people drown the sounds Of loss of innocence

Donny Most - I Only Want What's Mine (1980) With Linda Purl as "Lorree". She played Pam Beesly's mother in The Office. The one Michael Scott dated until he found out she was too old. Freddy Cannon - Suzanne Somers (1981) The sounds like a fake crowd. Man, Freddy Cannon tried EVERYTHING. Denny Greene - Love Party (1976) I picked out the nuttiest title from Sha Na Na man Denny Greene's one solo album. Spot on. Immaculately produced dross to my ears. Freddy and Connie Cannon - Blankcheck Market (1981) B-side of "Suzanne Somers". Nothing gets wasted on VINYL NIGHT!! More fake audience hilarity. Chuck Barris - Too Rich (1969) Here's Chuck Barris's Wikipedia thingie. Too rich an American tale to do justice here. Chuck Barris - I Know a Child (1969) B-Side of "Too Rich". Nowhere near as good. Denny Greene - Great Escape (1976) This is different from the 12" single. A little less processed, and the bass is nowhere near as prominent. Citizen - I Am A Citizen (1980) I forget how I found out about Citizen, but I'm glad I did, sorta. I would love to talk to Donn Marier to see what the original plan was. Who decided on the shoulder pads? What was it like recording that video? Did you have any success? The main thing I got from listening to this album was that Donn Marier was an amazing guitarist. Well, someone in his band was. Donn Marier's website is dead. But here's the video. Freddy Cannon - Sugar (1976) ANYTHING!!!! Including Disco. Freddy Cannon - Sugar (inst. ) (1976) The b-side. Citizen - Advertising (Rock Rock)! (1980) No, Wall Street!! You will not take me into your consumer-driven clutches. Scott Simon - Think About Me (1980) Another Sha Na Na guy puts out an inoffensive record. This one is more reminiscent of the original group. Fun in places, competent. Not great. Lou Christie - Wood Child (1971) To me, a great record that very few people know. Hard to find a copy that isn't a cut-out. That means that the record company sends them as wholesale to retailers as non-returnable items, meaning that the store cannot send them back to the distributor for a refund; the reason for the cut or hole in the packaging is to mark the item as non-returnable. The marking also serves to prevent the retailer from selling the discounted item at full price. All the albums that I have accrued lately are actually cut-outs. The music is the same. The vinyl is the same. It's just a way of preventing them from being perpetually returned by retailers. That gal is Twyla Herbert, LC's songwriting partner. J Jocko - That's The Song (1975) The best of the three solo SNN albums during my recent spree. Co-produced by my personal friend Elliot Randall. Slick, pretty fun, and one gets the impression J Jocko doesn't care what anyone thinks. Lou Christie - Waco (1971) J Jocko - Lip Service (1975) Lou Christie - Lighthouse (1971) J Jocko - Tomorrow’s Rising (1975) Lou Christie - Paint America Love (1971) The Guess Who - Country Disco (1981) This HAS TO be a contract fulfillment record. Remember those AM hits? "American Woman"? "These Eyes? "It's Clap For The Wolfman"? Only the bass player remains. Screamin' Scott Simon - I Ain't Got a Home (1980)

Now we think that reality, the "real world", is what happens "between nine and five", that is, what happens at work, in the office, at school, in career, and so forth. And a lot of people want to tell us that's true. "But not The Vogues. They were from Pittsburgh and they understood about shifts and hourly pay. Yet they understand more than that! "For the fact is, 'as you lay dying' (Faulkner), you won't give your "nine-to-five" life a single second thought. Not one single second thought! You'll forget it all, in the absolute blink of an eye. That's just a fact of old age and death -- the fact of our mortality. "What you won't forget, however, is "the long haired girl who waits for you/To ease your troubled mind". Or the one who did. Hopefully, it's the same person. As The Vogues observe: in light of her, ''Nothing else matters at all.' "This cast explores the 'Five O'Clock World' in terms of romantic love. Not sororal or fraternal love. Not even paternal and maternal love. But romantic love. For that's the core of loving for men and women. That is "where the action is" (Freddy Cannon). "Moreover, it is the core of the Gospel. If you want to understand what Christ did, for you, look at your experience of romantic love. For better or worse, look at your experience of romantic love. Like my friend Lloyd Fonvielle, who put one brilliant experience that way underneath the microscope just a few weeks before he died. And what he came up with!: Golly, there's no doubting it. The Gospel is the historic, true and universal metaphor, allegory and analogy of that which romantic love instantiates to the core within human experience. If you want to understand the love of God, observe the 'Love-O'-(Men and) Women' (Kipling). "For many of my listeners, this will be a message from your future. You may not hear it -- you may rebuff it -- and I understand why. But hey, one day...
I'll try to drop a great song from your past every Thursday (If I can remember) Freddy Cannon "Where the Action Is" from the Dick Clark show of the same name. 1965
