Und dann sogar in Josis eigene Familiengeschichte … Wer das Hörspiel im Radio hören will: Freitag, 02.05.2025, 20.00, Radio SRF 1 Öko-Extremisten werden hinter den Anschlägen vermutet. Doch Josi Amstutz, Mitarbeiterin des rechtsoffenen Magazins «the right news», vermutet, dass die Geschehnisse mit einem Song der Band «Angry Freedom» zusammenhängen. «Angry Freedom», gegründet von italienischen Einwanderern, gehörte in den 1990ern zur New-Wave-Punkszene und musste sich nach einem Konzert mit tödlichem Ausgang auflösen. Josi taucht bei ihren Nachforschungen in eine Ära der Revolte und der Träume ein. Und stösst dabei auf schmerzhafte persönliche Wahrheiten, die sie sich nie hätte träumen lassen. Dabei hat sie doch mit der eigenen Familie schon genug Schwierigkeiten: Ihre Zieheltern sind tot oder dement, ihren Vater kennt sie nicht, und die ihr entfremdete Mutter Marie versucht sich gerade zurück in Josis Leben zu kämpfen. Für dieses Hörspiel haben SRF und RSI zusammengearbeitet. Das gemeinsam entwickelte Manuskript wurde in zwei Versionen produziert: auf Italienisch und auf Deutsch, verbunden durch eine gemeinsame Musik. Fereydun Robert Armisen kommt 1966 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi zur Welt und wächst in New York auf.. Seine Mutter stammt aus Venezuela, sein Vater, Sohn des japanischen Tänzers Masami Kuni, ist in Soltau in der Lüneburger Heide geboren.Mit 18 hat Armisen seine erste Punk-Band. Sein Kunststudium bricht er ab und zieht nach Chicago, wo er als Schlagzeuger Teil der Band Trenchmouth wird. Die spielt eine kantige Mischung aus Post-Hardcore und Post-Punk.Bald schlägt er eine zweite Karriere als TV- und Filmkomiker ein. Er ist etwa das am drittlängsten agierende Mitglied des Comedy-Klassikers „Saturday Night Live“ – und verkörpert dort allerhand kultisch verehrte Charaktere.Ab 2011 ist er neben Carrie Brownstein von der Band Sleater-Kinney in der Sketch-Serie „Portlandia“ zu sehen, in denen er das Hipstertum von Fahrradkurieren über Indie-Musiker bis hin zu lesbischen Buchladenbetreiberinnen auf die Schippe nimmt.Darüber hinaus taucht er immer wieder in kleinen und Kleinstrollen in Filmen wie „The Rocker“, „Tenacious D in the Pick Of Destiny“ und „Anchorman“ auf. Außerdem als cooler Nachbar in einer Simpsons-Folge.Zuletzt war er Teil der Netflix-Hitserie „Wednesday“, wo er Wednesday Addams‘ Onkel Fester spielt.Armisen ist zudem immer auch musikalisch aktiv. Es war einmal ein alkoholabhängiger Lehrer namens Herr Bärlach und ein cracksüchtiger Grafiker namens Olli, die sich eines Nachts in einer abgestandenen Spelunke über das wahre Leben stritten. „Mein lieber Scholli, das ist ja wohl das beste Filmzitat aller Zeiten!“, lallte Bärlach, während Olli sich an seinem ausgeluschtesten Song der Welt, Wonderwall, festkrallte. Gemeinsam beschlossen sie, eine Punkband zu gründen – Die größten Spackos – ein Name, der ihnen in einem Moment kollektiver Erleuchtung kam. Ihr erstes Konzert fand auf dem besten Kindergeburtstag statt, den die Stadt je gesehen hatte, weil der Gastgeber ein missmutiger Achtjähriger war, der nur Chaos und laute Musik wollte. Bärlach, völlig betrunken, zitierte Shakespeare falsch, während Olli auf seinem Laptop ein Logo in Comic Sans entwarf. Doch der Ruhm war nur von kurzer Dauer – nach einer epischen Pogo-Schlacht mit den Eltern wurde die Band von der Polizei aufgelöst. „Das war unser Bohemian Rhapsody-Moment!“, rief Olli, bevor er mit einem gestohlenen Luftballon in die Nacht verschwand. Am nächsten Morgen wachten sie verkatert in einem Hinterhof auf, wo Bärlach murmelte: „Junge, das war's wert.“ Olli, bereits auf dem Weg zur nächsten Crack-Session, rief zurück: „Lass uns das nächste Mal was Richtiges gründen – vielleicht ‘ne Sekte?“ Und so endete die kurze, aber glorreiche Karriere der größten Spackos aller Zeiten.

Devid Striesow verkörpert Hape Kerkeling auf dem Jakobsweg in "Ich bin dann mal weg" genauso überzeugend wie Luther oder Bach! Auf Rügen ist er geboren, in Rostock aufgewachsen und war lange Zeit Wahl-Berliner. Er gehört zu den beliebtesten und vielseitigsten Schauspielern, die wir derzeit in Deutschland haben! Am 18. Dezember können wir ihn in der Rolle des Johann Sebastian Bach erleben im ARD-Weihnachtsfilm "BACH – Ein Weihnachtswunder" über die Entstehung des Weihnachtsoratoriums. 20 Kilo hat er sich für die Rolle anfuttern müssen und er bekam Unterricht im Dirigieren! Warum er immer schon ein Bach-Fan war und warum er selbst früher Musiker werden wollte, Musik studiert und in einer Punkband gespielt hat, erzählte er am Sonntagnachmittag bei Marion Hanel in "100 % Promi".

Eigentlich war der Punk-Boom schon längst vorbei, als The Clash 1979 ihr Album "London Calling" herausgebracht hat. Trotzdem gilt die Platte heute als das Punk-Album überhaupt. Am 14. Dezember 1979 bringen The Clash ihr Doppelalbum "London Calling" raus. Insgesamt 19 Songs umfasst die ikonische Punk-Platte. Reagge, Pop, Rockabilly und mehr – "London Calling" von The Clash hat alles! Wenn man "London Calling" auflegt und eine klassische Punkscheibe erwarten, mit schnellen und lauten Gitarren und viel Geschrei, dann wird man ganz schön überrascht sein. Denn obwohl es eines der bekanntesten Punkalben aller Zeiten ist, klingt die Platte nicht nach typischer Punkmusik. Wir bekommen ganz viel Abwechslung und eine sehr starke Botschaft: Punk ist, was du daraus machst: Punk bedeutet Freiheit! Die Band rund um Sänger und Gitarrist Joe Strummer hatte viele verschiedene musikalische Einflüsse. Reggae, Pop, Rock 'n' Roll, Rockabilly, Pop und noch mehr. Für "London Calling" hat die Band alle ihre Einflüsse zugelassen. Deshalb hören wir bei Songs wie "Lost in The Supermarket" zum Beispiel starke Popeinflüsse und bei "Radio Revolution" oder "Guns Of Brixton" viele klassische Reggae-Elemente. Auch wenn das Album klanglich viele verschiedene Musikrichtungen vereint, inhaltlich sind es die typischen Themen, die eine Punkband bewegt. Es geht um Rassismus wie zum Beispiel im Song "Guns Of Brixton", um politische Unruhen und Kriege wie zum Beispiel in "Spanish Bombs" oder auch um soziale Ungerechtigkeit. Newfoundland's original punk band, Da Slyme, is getting some national attention, thanks to English music producer Fred Again, and Canadian music journalist Nardwuar. The Morning Show's Jonny Hodder spoke with Nardwuar and Da Slyme member Goohaw Groon, aka George Smith.

"Stop Making Sense" von den Talking Heads ist mehr als nur ein Album, es ist einer der besten Konzertfilme der 80er Jahre. Wir sprechen auch darüber, weil sich viele Meilensteine Fans die Besprechung der "Platte" gewünscht haben. Da wir bei "Stop Making Sense" von einem Konzertfilm der Talking Heads reden, der 1983 in Hollywood, Los Angeles aufgezeichnet wurde, reden wir natürlich auch gleichzeitig von einem Livealbum. Punk, Artrock, Funk – Talking Heads sind "alles" Die Musik von den Talking Heads ist dabei auch so besonders und einzigartig, dass alleine die Einsortierung in eines der vielen Musikgenres unmöglich erscheint. Über die Jahre wurden die Talking Heads in viele verschiedene Schubladen gesteckt: New Wave, Artrock oder auch Funk. Nach einem gemeinsamen Konzert mit den Punklegenden "The Ramones" wurden auch sie selbst schon als Punkband betitelt. Mit dem "Stop Making Sense" veröffentlichte die Band 1984 übrigens schon ihr zweites Livealbum, nach dem 1982er-Album "The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads". Auch das kam schon gut an, aber es war noch sprichwörtlich "Luft nach oben", wie es so schön heißt. "Stop Making Sense" war dann aber auch bis heute das letzte Livealbum der Band. Studioalben gab es nach 1984 noch drei weitere. "Ich war einfach total begeistert von diesem Album! Ich hab' das schwindelig gehört! [...] Ich höre beim Schlusston jedes Songs schon den Anfangston des nächsten. Mich irritiert es, wenn danach was anderes kommt", erzählt SWR1 Musikchef Bernd Rosinus im Podcast. Das Tolle an dem Album "Stop Making Sense" ist, dass man darauf so gut hören kann, "wie Popmusik ineinander greift und wie Popmusik funktioniert", erklärt SWR1 Musikchef Bernd Rosinus in dieser Meilensteine Folge. "Die Songs sind oft so aufgebaut, dass die Musiker nacheinander einsteigen [...] und man hört sehr, sehr gut, wie dieses Werk, was nachher so komplex klingt aufeinandergeschichtet ist", sagt Bernd Rosinus weiter. Einer der größten Hits der Platte ist der Song "Psycho Killer", der schon lange vor dem Album und dem Konzertfilm geschrieben wurde, nämlich bereits 1975. Sänger David Byrne schlüpft im Song eben in die Rolle eines "Psychopathen" und das Besondere an David Byrne ist, dass er eben nicht nur Musiker ist, sondern einfach Künstler. Also hat David Byrne den Song nicht einfach nur gesungen, sondern die ganze Rolle geschauspielert. Auch das macht den Song so besonders. Beim Kultsong "Burning Down The House" gab es viel Inspiration von der Band Parliament Funkadelic und deren unglaublichem Groove. Textlich beziehungsweise inhaltlich ist der Song wunderbar sinnlos. "Burning Down The House" lässt sich frei mit "Reiß die Hütte ab" übersetzen. Der Track ist ein klassischer Partysong. Da darf der Text schon mal vernachlässigt werden. Als Regisseur für den Konzertfilm wurde übrigens Jonathan Demme engagiert, der später noch die Kultfilme "Philadelphia" mit Oscarpreisträger Tom Hanks und auch "Das Schweigen der Lämmer" mit Anthony Hopkins und Jodie Foster gemacht hat. Spuren führen ins ökoextremistische Lager, aber auch zu einer ehemaligen Punkband. Und dann sogar in Josis eigene Familiengeschichte ... von Susanne Janson und Flavio Stroppini Teil 1/3: Montag, 06.05.2024, 14.00, Radio SRF 1 Öko-Extremisten werden hinter den Anschlägen vermutet. Doch Josi Amstutz, Mitarbeiterin des rechtsoffenen Magazins «the right news», findet heraus, dass die Geschehnisse mit einem Song der Band «Angry Freedom» zusammenhängen. «Angry Freedom», gegründet von italienischen Einwanderern, gehörte in den 1990ern zur New-Wave-Punkszene und musste sich nach einem Konzert mit tödlichem Ausgang auflösen. Josi taucht bei ihren Nachforschungen in eine Ära der Revolte und der Träume ein. Und stösst dabei auf schmerzhafte persönliche Wahrheiten, die sie sich nie hätte träumen lassen. Dabei hat sie doch mit der eigenen Familie schon genug Schwierigkeiten: Ihre Zieheltern sind tot oder dement, ihren Vater kennt sie nicht, und die ihr entfremdete Mutter Marie versucht sich gerade zurück in Josis Leben zu kämpfen. Für dieses Hörspiel haben SRF und RSI zusammengearbeitet. Das gemeinsam entwickelte Manuskript wurde in zwei Versionen produziert: auf Italienisch und auf Deutsch, verbunden durch eine gemeinsame Musik.
