Hey Book Lovers! You’re listening to a #GrowGetters Book Club episode! Each month, we unpack, dissect, and discuss some of the hottest non-fiction releases that have the potential to positively impact your careers, and your lives!Today, we are discussing Atomic Habits by productivity and behavioural expert, James Clear! Atomic Habits is all about how small changes that we make in our lives, can compound into life-altering transformations! The book claims that any good habit that is continuously repeated over time, no matter how small, will have a positive impact on your life in the long-run. And so Ritual Consulting was born over a margarita, a beach-side view, and a simple mission to build meaningful brands and successful businesses. Our second guest is a familiar face (or voice in our case!). But what’s more, Bec set up her business nearly 9 years ago as a remote business that has never had a ‘traditional’ office. She wanted to give everyone on her team the flexibility to work from home (pre-COVID). Over the years they’ve fine-tuned their structures and procedures for maximum output and enjoyment. This gave her the foundation to work professionally for 6 years as a vocalist on stage and recording in Australia, Asia, and Europe. She had the pleasure of performing alongside some of the world’s best singers and musicians. Not only is Bec a PR powerhouse, but she’s also a talented writer that just launched her book with publisher Penguin Books - called You Got This. Hey Book Lovers! You’re listening to a #GrowGetters Book Club episode! Each month, we unpack, dissect, and discuss some of the hottest non-fiction releases that have the potential to positively impact your careers, and your lives!Today, we are discussing REWORK by the incredibly inspirational founders of tech company, Basecamp, Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson!Basecamp is the stupidly simple, yet powerfully productive software that helps teams get organised, communicate, and get stuff done! Tiffany and I MASSIVE fangirls of Basecamp (yep, major nerd alert here!!) and we are absolute devotees of their seminal business book - REWORK - which we are so excited to feature on the #GrowGetters Book Club today!REWORK was first published a decade ago, but it is so progressive, forward-thinking, and revolutionary, it feels extremely contemporary and extra poignant in today’s working climate.REWORK is almost like the “anti-business book” because of its strong opinions on some of the traditional stalwarts of the modern workplace, and of business strategy in general. It rejects the status quo, and uses the experience both authors have gleaned from creating Basecamp, to prove that things CAN be done differently, and you can STILL be successful. But before we dive in, we have a very special guest joining us! Amber Bonney is the Founder and Managing Director of the award-winning business, The Edison Agency. She is a branding and identity strategist, guest lecturer, speaker, and current President of the Creative Women’s Circle - one of Australia’s largest communities of women working in the creative industries - AND a proud partner of the #GrowGetters podcast.Amber is known for her brand prowess, developing outstanding creative solutions to her clients’ real commercial problems, and delivering human-centered, relevant, and differentiated experiences for their users. With over 20 years’ experience across diverse industry sectors, Amber is passionate about marrying both traditional and disruptive design methods that activate, provoke, and inspire. In a nutshell, she is a brand-building powerhouse, helping organisations to connect, transform, excite, gain trust, disrupt, transform, and be seen! And of course, as always, you’ll be hearing from, Tanya Garma, and Tiffany Hart - co-hosts of the #GrowGetters podcast. So ladies, let’s get started - come and join the discussion about the brilliant book REWORK.Plus...If you want some more sweet, sweet inspo, check out our Insta page and please follow us at @growgetterspodcast !! :)And if you’re still hungry for more, our #GrowGetters GROWTH HACKS NEWSLETTER is designed to keep you up-skilled and up-to-date on all the latest tips, models, and trends - so sign up at www.growgetterspodcast.com/newsletterYour hosts are:Award-winning brand strategist and writer, Tanya Garma (@tanyagarma)Forbes-listed startup founder and entrepreneur, Tiffany Hart (@tiffanyclairehart)To stay in touch with Amber - you can follow her here: CWC Insta: https://www.instagram.com/creativewomenscircle/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/amberbonney/Website: https://edison.agency/

With her skills, her genuine passion for business, for teaching, and a love of tech - Tracy saw the need that so many working mothers face - the need to carve out a career on their own terms. So Tracy built a profitable, scalable, enviable business that started while she was breastfeeding and typing with one hand. Now, she teaches other Mums in biz how to do the same.Fast forward to today, and Mums with Hustle has attracted a global tribe of empowered, connected women. Over 50,000 beloved business mums getting noticed and building powerful online brands.Mums with Hustle offers teaching, mentoring, industry experts, and business-building opportunities to Mums powering through to create empires of their dreams. One of the key features of Mums with Hustle is its exceptional membership club: The Social Method Society. Hey guys! Welcome to #GrowGetters – the future skills podcast for smart women in business. Whether you’re crushing it in your career, your super side-hustle, or your lady startup – we have got you covered!Today we have a very special guest joining us on the poddy. Anita Siek is the Founder and Director of Wordfetti, a human-centered brand strategy copywriting studio in Australia which is dedicated to helping brands stand out through strategic thinking, consumer psychology, and their absolutely brilliant wordsmithery. She’s also the host of Brandfetti (a wildly successful podcast that is consistently in the top ranks for marketing on the Apple Podcast charts). From our perspective, Anita is one of the best in the business. She followed an extremely nontraditional path to copy-writing. She wasn't a journalist, nor did she have 20 years experience in PR, or Marketing under her belt. She actually was a lawyer when her love of words and the power to understand how, what, and why they need to be nurtured grew.Anita is a true entrepreneur that side hustled Wordfetti and Brandfetti whilst working in her role as a corporate lawyer. 3-4 years on, Wordfetti now has a waiting list of customers, an online shop, and a super successful online course that’s going gangbusters.Last year she was named one of the top 50 Instapreneurial Female Creators by Milkshake (a service from Envato) and Frankie Magazine.Anita has so so much goodness to share and we are so thankful to have her on the podcast this week. She will help us to further understand the importance of language when it comes to communicating value and creating connections for your business or brand. So without further adieu, lets dive into this week’s episode.LINKS FROM THE EPISODE:What I Learnt From Showing Up on IG Stories for 30 Days as an Experiment from the Brandfetti PodcastFOLLOW ANITA ON:Insta:Anita Siek - https://www.instagram.com/anitasiek/Wordfetti - https://www.instagram.com/wordfetti/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/anita-siek-41373724/The Web: https://www.wordfettigroup.com/workPlus...If you want some more sweet, sweet inspo, check out our Insta page and please follow us at @growgetterspodcast !! :)And if you’re still hungry for more, our #GrowGetters GROWTH HACKS NEWSLETTER is designed to keep you up-skilled and up-to-date on all the latest tips, models, and trends - so sign up at www.growgetterspodcast.com/newsletterYour hosts are:Award-winning brand strategist and writer, Tanya Garma (@tanyagarma)Forbes-listed startup founder and entrepreneur, Tiffany Hart (@tiffanyclairehart)
