"MK Confidential" continues its deep dive into the murder of JonBenét Ramsey, the case that gripped America and fueled nearly 30 years of obsession. It is still the day after Christmas, 1996, but by early afternoon the kidnapping no longer makes sense: no phone call ever comes, no intruder is in sight, and only the Ramsey family is known to have been inside the home the night JonBenét died. Megyn Kelly follows the investigation as it turns inward: the ransom note written on the family's own notepad, the demand that nearly matched John's bonus, the bowl of pineapple, the disputed handwriting, the detective certain a parent did it, and the FBI profiler who reads the very same evidence as the work of an intruder. Wanna-be president New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) released a video last night claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal and called for his arrest after admitting he has no power to arrest Netanyahu. Glenn calls out the hypocrisy of Mamdani's statements after his team attempted to set up a meeting with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Glenn also calls out Mamdani for focusing on Israel when his own city is plagued with issues. Despite the Trump administration making moves to disassemble the ICC, Mamdani still called upon the agency to arrest Netanyahu next time he visits the country. What is the free market? Glenn defends free markets for lifting billions out of poverty through innovation and honest trade but lays out the requirements needed for the free market to thrive. Glenn reads a supportive message he received from one of his subscribers. Glenn recalls what life was like back in the 1970s and how much America has progressed. 7/21/26 - Mark Levin DESTROYS the Communist Lie About 'The Working People'

    Mark Levin Podcast

Play Episode Listen Later Jul 22, 2026 107:40

On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, communism is all about working people -- killing them, enslaving them, and brutalizing them. It's amazing how the Communists talk up "the working people." For communists, working people exist to serve the state and its centralized masterminds rather than as sovereign individuals. Only in free societies, especially America, are working people the heart and soul of society—the backbone of freedom. Communism is the most defective ideology ever imposed because it requires no knowledge or experience—only an iron fist and a destructive ideology that ignores human nature for an undefined “general good.” Meanwhile, Daniel Ortega, obviously a Communist, has announced no more elections in Nicaragua. If the Marxists-Islamists and, yes, the Democrat Party get their way, election results will be nothing but a foregone conclusion in their favor, a Potemkin exercise in phony democracy, as they destroy the electoral processes established in our Constitution and further alter our immigration and census systems, as well as usurp electoral procedures in the states. Also, this on-again, off-again conflict with Iran won't lead to victory. Success requires fully embracing available tools: first, arming, training, and supporting the Iranian people with air cover, satellite monitoring, and a determined CIA leadership; second, ignoring pressure from Arab countries while fully utilizing Israel's powerful air force, Mossad intelligence, and IDF.Later, the Democrats' new Senate candidate in Maine to replace Graham Platner Troy Jackson has his own issues yet faces little accountability. Separately, Michigan socialist Abdul El-Sayed is set for a campaign fundraiser co-hosted by Kelly Newman, who in 2024 honored her grandfather's military service for the Nazis. Finally, the media constantly demands evidence of non-citizens voting and claims none exists, yet Gov Mikie Sherrill announced thousands of non-citizens were found on the state's voting rolls due to a software glitch in the motor vehicle system. This exposes the larger issue that federal law requires states to purge voter rolls periodically, but blue states like New Jersey and California refuse, leaving dead people, movers, and illegal aliens on the rolls. Democrats and the media still insist elections are the cleanest in history while opposing voter ID and lying about existing requirements—proving they enable fraud rather than clean the system. This week, we're bringing you a special episode from Revisionist History, Malcolm Gladwell's podcast about things overlooked and misunderstood. Gladwell's show recently investigated the story of what was once the biggest secession movement in the US since the Civil War: the movement by disillusioned residents in Staten Island to secede from New York City. The Staten Island Problem, Revisionist History's newest five-part series, reconstructs the battle for New York during the turbulent early 1990s—the rise of Rudy Giuliani, the peak of the homicide rate, the Wu-Tang Clan, young Donald Trump, and the first Black mayor of New York—all through the prism of the city's oft-forgotten borough. Why tell this story now? Because the island's secession movement is an early example of the politics of resentment that dominates America today. The first episode of The Staten Island Problem tells the story of David Dinkins, the first Black mayor of New York, facing off with the borough president of Staten Island all while trying to hold his city together.Revisionist History and The Staten Island Problem are produced by Pushkin Industries. New York's socialist mayor just completely folded on his big promise to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. You need to see this before the media spins it away. Zohran Mamdani spent days threatening to lock up Netanyahu over the ICC warrant if he visits NYC. Now he admits in a video that the city has zero legal authority to do it. He still calls him a war criminal and says he's “not welcome,” while begging the feds to join the ICC and arrest him. Trump already shut that down. This is classic performative politics from a progressive mayor who knows the law and that America never joined the ICC. Blue-city leaders treat a key ally like a criminal while ignoring real threats. Loud threats, empty follow-through, and selective “international law” aimed only at Israel. Pat also covered: Day 38: Senator Mitch McConnell continues to be missing from the Senate. Pistol Pete testifying on exactly how much money we spent in Iran. Thanks to Trump, Americans can now travel to Lebanon. Marco Rubio: Trump is NOT playing games with Iran. Why is Ken Paxton not answering questions?  Does Mamdani's walk-back prove these threats were always just theater? How much longer are Americans supposed to take this kind of unserious anti-Israel grandstanding from big-city mayors? Yes. By treating our vote as sacred and doing the unglamorous, powerful grassroots work that wins elections–and ensured Zohran Mamdani defeated Andrew Cuomo not once, but twice. The recent court ruling on anchor babies is actively codifying illegal alien welfare entitlements — and the GOP is doing nothing to stop it. Immigration labor scholar Jason Richwine joins me to expose the true fiscal and cultural costs of mass migration, rooted in the stealing of citizenship by anchor babies. We discuss how birthright citizenship intersects with Medicaid, SNAP, housing costs, labor markets, mass migration, assimilation, and the long-term fiscal burden on American taxpayers. Jason uses Miami as a case study to show how even American-born children of those from the third world are not assimilating. If we don't end the balkanization of America and protect our sovereignty, the consequences will be irreversible. In a world where the lines between truth and deception are increasingly blurred, one thing is clear: the Democratic Socialists of America are on the move, and their influence is being felt across the country. This episode delves into the world of DSA, where the speaker shares his thoughts on the party's rise to power and its potential impact on the midterms. The speaker discusses the recent comments made by Van Jones, a prominent progressive Democrat, who spoke out against the DSA's extreme policies. While some may see this as a positive development, the speaker argues that it's too little, too late, and that the damage has already been done. He also touches on the topic of progressivism, socialism, and communism, highlighting the dangers of these ideologies and how they can lead to the erosion of individual freedoms. The conversation also explores the concept of the "working class" and how it's being used by politicians like Man Danny, who claims to be a champion of the working man but can't even define what that means. The speaker reveals the true nature of Man Danny's constituency, which is actually made up of higher-income, white, and highly educated voters, not the working class he claims to represent. If you're interested in understanding the complexities of the DSA and its impact on American politics, tune in to this episode to hear the speaker's insightful analysis and commentary. SCHEDUKE JBS 7-21-26Elizabeth Peek joins John Batchelor to discuss how rising gasoline prices act as a talisman for consumer sentiment and presidential approval. Despite low unemployment and rising real wages, the public remains fixated on energy costs. Peek criticizes Republican messaging and highlights the massive AI-driven investment boom currently occurring. (1)Elizabeth Peek discusses New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani's inability to define the "working class." She argues the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) primarily represent white, college-educated liberals rather than manual laborers. They also discuss Kevin Warsh as a potential Fed chairman and the independence of interest rate decisions. (2)Peter Berkowitz examines Vice President JD Vance's views on restoring Christianity in America. Berkowitz highlights the ambiguity in Vance's stance regarding government involvement in religion. They contrast Vance's rhetoric with James Madison's historical opposition to state-funded religion, emphasizing the constitutional separation of church and state. (3)Ahmad Sharawi reports on Syria's interception of sophisticated Iranian weapons—including cruise missile components—destined for Hezbollah. The weapons were concealed in Iraqi oil tankers. This move is seen as Al-Shara's attempt to gain international trust and investment by demonstrating a commitment to containing Hezbollah's rearmament. (4)Mary Kissel discusses the ongoing conflict with Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. She argues there is no diplomatic overlap because Iran views nuclear weapons as essential for survival. Kissel notes the lack of a broad international coalition and warns that regional allies might seek accommodation with Tehran. (5)Mary Kissel turns to NATO's lack of unity regarding the Ukraine war. Kissel argues that while Eastern Europeannations feel the threat, Western Europe focuses on domestic politics. She highlights the emergence of a "new alliance" of Russia, Iran, and China, which poses a significant hybrid threat. (6)Joseph Sternberg analyzes China's struggling economy, noting that official growth targets are likely overstated. Facing a real estate crater and demographic decline, China is reverting to an export-heavy model. Unlike Japan's past recovery, China's adversarial stance makes trading partners less willing to absorb its gluts. (7)Joseph Sternberg discusses the transition to Prime Minister Andy Burnham in the UK. Burnham, who took office without an election mandate, faces a heavily taxed economy and bond market skepticism. Sternberg critiques Burnham's big-government agenda and resistance to market reforms, suggesting it may drive away wealth. (8)Gregory Copley evaluates Prime Minister Andy Burnham's new cabinet, specifically John Healey as Chancellor and Wes Streeting as Defense Secretary. While the government aims to boost defense spending and support Ukraine, Copley questions its legitimacy without a fresh mandate and notes a lack of long-term global strategic planning. (9)Gregory Copley covers the alienation of Canada under the Trump administration. Copley explains how Canada is diversifying its defense procurement—buying Swedish aircraft and Australian radar—rather than relying on the US. This shift threatens the NORAD partnership and results in billions of dollars lost for US aerospace industries. (10)Gregory Copley explores the "balance of ignorance," where declining literacy and social media lead to a loss of national identity. He argues that governments make poor strategic decisions because they no longer understand their own history or adversaries, citing the current US conflict with Iran as a primary example. (11)Gregory Copley explains King Charles III's role in forming Andy Burnham's government. The King's "blessing" provides constitutional legitimacy to the transition. Copley notes Burnham is the first practicing Roman Catholic Prime Minister and highlights the King's departure to Glasgow to open the Commonwealth Games. (12)Former Congressman Thaddeus McCotter discusses how rising gas prices and inflation hurt Republicans in swing states. They also examine the Trump administration's use of the Smoot-Hawley Act to threaten tariffs on Canada. McCotter views these as punitive measures that weaken the broader argument for necessary trade protections. (13)Thaddeus McCotter comments on a recent presidential address regarding the 2020 election. He argues that claiming the system is "rigged" is counterproductive for Republican turnout. McCotter suggests that voters care far more about the "price of gas" and groceries than relitigating past elections that the party lost. (14)John Batchelor and Peter Huessy review classic nuclear war films like Godzilla, On the Beach, and Dr. Strangelove. Huessy argues that while these films highlight the horrors of nuclear use, real-world focus has evolved toward deterrence and sophisticated safety systems designed to prevent accidental or unauthorized missile launches. (15)Peter Huessy continues the discussion of nuclear films like Fail Safe and The Day After. Huessy disputes claims that The Day After motivated Ronald Reagan's arms control efforts, noting Reagan was a committed advocate for nuclear reductions long before the movie's massive 1983 television broadcast. (16)Corrections applied silently: Ahmad Sharawi (4) and Thaddeus McCotter (13, 14) per the log.

I'm also an avid hiker, a mom of two, and a lifelong Midwest resident. While working as a journalist for the last 25 years, I've gone through a lot of upheavals in the industry. But I learned that always means new opportunities — if you're willing to assume some risk. That's never been a problem for me. As the CEO and Executive Editor of Lincoln Square, I run one of the fastest-growing independent political publications in the nation. Each week, I host two shows, The Weekly Assignment, where we discuss the latest headlines and what we can do to fight back against authoritarianism, and First Draft, where I talk to journalists and authors about their important work and the stories behind them. As an expert on Michigan and national politics, I've also appeared on C-SPAN, MSNBC, CNN, NPR, NewsNation, the Australian Broadcast Corporation, Sky News, Jyllands-Posten (Danish TV), WKAR-TV's Off the Record and more. Previously, I was the founding Editor-in-Chief of the nonprofit Michigan Advance for over six years. I also served for five years as the Editor and Publisher of Inside Michigan Politics, the most-cited political newsletter in the state. And in a past life, I worked as a Democratic campaign strategist during the 2018 campaign cycle (which was a pretty darn good year for the party). My award-winning political analysis has run in more than 150 national, international and regional media outlets, including the Guardian U.K., NBC News, The New York Times, The Washington Post, RealClearPolitics, Salon, HuffPost, and The Detroit News. And you'll find me trekking in the mountains whenever I can break away. Why I Write Writer. Entrepreneur. Mother. Public Speaker. Political Analyst. Those are all just words to describe me. What you need to know, most of all, is what drives me to fulfill those roles. I've wanted to be a writer since I was seven, scribbling down observations about people and events in ratty spiral notebooks. My mother always told me that my unique ability to understand people and feel what they were going through was both a gift and a curse. I struggled for many years to make ends meet, especially before my first child was born. I wondered if I'd ever be able to contribute anything of value, something to make the world a better place. I found my calling in journalism, honing my craft for the last 25 years. Being a writer has always been who I am. But now it's also what I do. I have an insatiable curiosity to investigate what's going on in America and the world. I believe in speaking truth to power and following Mencken's rule to "comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable." I've taken on the Old Boys Club in politics (and political journalism) and won, always preserving my integrity. All this has given me a distinctive voice and fearless style to communicate with people why things are happening and what can be done.

The push for hyperscale AI data centers in every county isn't about innovation — it's about centralized control, land grabs, and the surveillance state. China just beat the U.S. tech giants for a fraction of the cost. I'm joined by computer scientist and AI expert Jim Calhoun to expose the massive grift behind America's generative AI strategy. While U.S. tech giants like OpenAI, Microsoft, and Amazon take on trillions in debt to build massive, power-draining data centers, China just released a decentralized, open-weight AI model (Kimi-3) essentially for free. Calhoun breaks down why decentralized "edge computing" is the real future of AI and why Big Tech's current path is a dangerous misallocation of capital disguised as a "Sputnik moment." On this episode of The Truth with Lisa Boothe, Lisa sits down with Daniel DiMartino to discuss the devastating aftermath of Venezuela’s deadly earthquakes and why he believes decades of socialist rule made the disaster far worse. Daniel shares firsthand accounts from Venezuelans on the ground, the failures of the government’s response, and how corruption and mismanagement contributed to a growing humanitarian crisis. Lisa and Daniel also examine the growing support for socialism in the United States, including the rise of politicians like Zohran Mamdani and other Democratic Socialists winning major primaries. They break down why younger Americans are increasingly skeptical of capitalism, the influence of education and culture, and whether America is ignoring the warning signs seen in countries like Venezuela. Plus, they discuss the realities of funding larger government programs, the difference between free markets and socialism, the risks of government control, and what Americans can learn from countries that lost their freedoms.
