BB28 Wednesday Veto Ep Recap, Week 2 Also available on YouTube. Big Brother 28 is full of fireworks as the fallout from a wild nomination ceremony spills into every corner of the house. Rob Cesternino leads this episode recap with Kirsten MacInnis and Jason Reed, breaking down Angela's strategic moves and the chaos surrounding the latest nominations, Veto, and shifting alliances. The episode dives into the volatile aftermath of Angela's HoH reign, centering on her confrontation with Jason and a heated exchange between Haley and Rome. The panel discusses Angela's new egg costume punishment, the faux breakup between Lyric and Rome, and the complexities of the Veto competition where Devens comes out on top. Social strategies take center stage as Lyric uses her social game and “baby voice” to sway the house, while Melody pushes hard to stay off the block but faces resistance from Dee, Angela, and Devens. The looming America's Vote and potential twists for Rome and Lyric keep everyone guessing about who is truly at risk. Kirsten calls out Rome for his “snarky” behavior and questions why Lyric is criticized for her voice when it's working strategically. Jason Reed highlights the “faux apologies” between Angela and houseguest Jason, as well as the comedic gold of Angela's egg costume moments. The panel dissects Melody's efforts to save herself and how Drew's campaigning for her may have backfired due to Dee and Angela's distrust. Jason and Kirsten debate if Rome's showmance with Lyric is helping or hurting his and her individual games, especially with the looming possibility of Rome's eviction. The panel questions if Devens' Veto win marks the start of a big power shift, and what will happen if Rome returns from the BB Blockbuster twist. With alliances uncertain and social games in flux, the path forward is murky, Will Lyric thrive if Rome goes home, and did Devens' latest move set him up as the next big target? Congress just put the Smithsonian director on the hot seat over some of the most ridiculous taxpayer-funded exhibits you'll ever see. Regular Americans take their families to the National Museum of American History expecting the story of our country. Instead, they're finding overtly sexual transgender displays, including content involving kids, and a staff toolkit that flat-out labels politeness and objectivity as white supremacy. House Republicans laid out the photos, the diary entries, and the MASS Action materials in black and white. Nearly a billion dollars a year in public money is flowing into this. The director's answers were pure deflection. This isn't preserving history. It's rewriting it to fit an ideology most parents never signed up for. Copyright ©2026, Weird Darkness.Originally aired: February, 2021Weird Darkness takes listeners inside the federal penitentiary on Alcatraz Island — what daily life was actually like behind its walls, the fourteen escape attempts that mostly ended in the San Francisco Bay, and a tour of American prisons whose conditions make the Rock look mild by comparison. It opens with the texture of everyday survival at Alcatraz, where the prison held roughly 330 men in cells measuring five feet by nine, and where food, clothing, shelter, and medical care were the only four rights an inmate had — everything else, from library access to a spot in the prison band, had to be earned. Warden James A. Johnston enforced a code of silence that lasted until 1937, so inmates like Jim Quillen talked through the pipes between cells, and Quillen described nineteen days in solitary as total silence and darkness. Al Capone begged his way into the Rock Islanders band and learned tenor guitar, tenor banjo, and mandola; Robert Stroud, the Birdman of Alcatraz, spent eleven of his seventeen years there in the hospital, studying law and languages. Prisoners were counted thirteen times a day, allowed a single two-page letter each week to a blood relative, and served food widely regarded as the best in the federal system — and still, by inmate Bryan Conway's account, fourteen of three hundred seventeen men went violently insane during his last year, one dock worker chopping off the fingers of his own left hand with an ax.From there, the episode turns to the men who tried to leave. Joseph "Dutch" Bowers became the first, shot off a fence on April 27th, 1936, while working the incinerator detail. Theodore Cole and Ralph Roe sawed through a window in the Model Industries Building and vanished into a storm-driven current in December 1937, their bodies never found. The 1938 breakout by James Limerick, Jimmy Lucas, and Rufus "Whitey" Franklin killed guard Royal C. Cline with a hammer; Arthur "Doc" Barker, son of Ma Barker, was shot in the head near the shoreline in January 1939. The May 1946 "Battle of Alcatraz" pulled in the Coast Guard and the Marines over two days and left guards William Miller and Harold Stites dead. And the most famous attempt of all came in June 1962, when Frank Morris and brothers John and Clarence Anglin chipped through their cell walls with spoons, left dummy heads made of soap and hair in their beds, and disappeared on a raft stitched from raincoats — three men the FBI never found. The episode closes by leaving Alcatraz behind for prisons still standing. ADX Florence in Colorado, the "Alcatraz of the Rockies," holds inmates like Ted Kaczynski and Ramzi Yousef in seventy-five-square-foot concrete cells for twenty-three hours a day. At the Polunsky Unit in Livingston, Texas, an inmate named Andre Thomas removed his own eye. Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Maricopa County Tent City Jail in Phoenix housed people outdoors in the Arizona heat until it was dismantled in 2017. Orleans Parish Prison in New Orleans has stood on the same ground for three hundred years, first used to hold enslaved people who tried to escape. San Quentin, built in 1852 and once home to Charles Manson and Richard Ramirez, drew a court-appointed report describing a facility so old, dirty, and overcrowded that housing people there was called dangerous.

The Boston Tea Party is the most misunderstood event in American history. Every schoolchild learns it was an antitax protest, proof that Americans have always hated paying taxes. But the Tea Act of 1773 was actually a tax cut. Parliament lowered the duties on tea to bail out the East India Company, a corporation deemed too big to fail, and the Sons of Liberty destroyed ninety thousand pounds of tea not because taxes were too high but because a distant government was using fiscal policy to serve corporate interests without the colonists' consent. The colonists of Massachusetts kept collecting taxes locally even as they defied the British, simply redirecting the money to a patriot treasurer. They didn't want freedom from taxation. They wanted the power to tax themselves. That distinction, argues Vanessa Williamson, is the key to understanding everything that has happened in American politics since. Today's guest is Vanessa Williamson, author of The Price of Democracy. We discuss how the Boston Tea Party was actually a protest against a corporate tax cut for the East India Company, not against taxation, why Shays's Rebellion terrified the founders into writing a Constitution deliberately designed to keep ordinary citizens away from the public purse, and how the Whiskey Rebellion revealed the pattern that would repeat across American history: when poorer people demand fairer taxation, elites respond with force or legal constraints or both. We look at how the Gilded Age Supreme Court declared the income tax unconstitutional, why it took a twenty-year populist campaign and a constitutional amendment to bring it back, and how Rockefeller's lawyers warned that a graduated income tax "realizes most completely the supreme danger of democracy." Williamson argues that free countries are high-tax countries, that authoritarian governments are bad at collecting revenue, and that the antitax movement in America has always been an antidemocratic movement, using supermajority requirements, property tax caps, and fiscal limitations to ensure that even when the people vote for a functioning government, the rules written by a previous generation's oligarchs prevent them from getting one.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

STREAMING MAKING JOHN BATCHELOR SHOW, 7-22-2026.1900 CALDWELL IDAHOThe provided transcript captures a behind-the-scenes and live broadcast dialogue from The John Bachelor Show, where the host and guests analyze global geopolitical instability and economic shifts. A primary focus is the emergence of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization (WAICO), which the participants characterize as a strategic attempt by China to dominate international technological standards despite its own internal economic struggles. The conversation further examines a legislative push by the Democratic Socialists of America to reduce the United States nuclear triad, a move the guests label as dangerous unilateral disarmament. Additionally, the experts discuss the escalating conflict in the Middle East, specifically focusing on Houthi threats to maritime trade and the complex maneuvers of global superpowers in the region. Throughout the recording, the speakers emphasize the deteriorating state of the Chinese economy and the necessity for the United States to maintain its competitive edge in both military and technological sectors. This comprehensive overview illustrates the interconnected nature of modern warfare, emerging AI governance, and international energy markets.

Three influential voices. Three compelling conversations. One timeless discussion. In this special episode of Timeless Wisdom with Dennis Prager, Dennis sits down with Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro, and Sean Hannity to explore the ideas shaping America. Tucker Carlson examines the rise of the ruling class, the decline of the middle class, and why strong families remain the foundation of a healthy society. Ben Shapiro pulls back the curtain on Hollywood, exposing the political bias behind television and entertainment while discussing the cultural influence of media. Sean Hannity reflects on faith, freedom, education, and the enduring principles that made America exceptional. "MK Confidential" continues its deep dive into the murder of JonBenét Ramsey, the case that gripped America and fueled nearly 30 years of obsession. It is still the day after Christmas, 1996, but by early afternoon the kidnapping no longer makes sense: no phone call ever comes, no intruder is in sight, and only the Ramsey family is known to have been inside the home the night JonBenét died. Megyn Kelly follows the investigation as it turns inward: the ransom note written on the family's own notepad, the demand that nearly matched John's bonus, the bowl of pineapple, the disputed handwriting, the detective certain a parent did it, and the FBI profiler who reads the very same evidence as the work of an intruder. Wanna-be president New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) released a video last night claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal and called for his arrest after admitting he has no power to arrest Netanyahu. Glenn calls out the hypocrisy of Mamdani's statements after his team attempted to set up a meeting with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Glenn also calls out Mamdani for focusing on Israel when his own city is plagued with issues. Despite the Trump administration making moves to disassemble the ICC, Mamdani still called upon the agency to arrest Netanyahu next time he visits the country. What is the free market? Glenn defends free markets for lifting billions out of poverty through innovation and honest trade but lays out the requirements needed for the free market to thrive. Glenn reads a supportive message he received from one of his subscribers. Glenn recalls what life was like back in the 1970s and how much America has progressed. Glenn discusses the bizarre story of Bryan Johnson, who claims he has “cloned” himself. Glenn lays out what Johnson really did and how this feels like a horror science fiction movie. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, communism is all about working people -- killing them, enslaving them, and brutalizing them. It's amazing how the Communists talk up "the working people." For communists, working people exist to serve the state and its centralized masterminds rather than as sovereign individuals. Only in free societies, especially America, are working people the heart and soul of society—the backbone of freedom. Communism is the most defective ideology ever imposed because it requires no knowledge or experience—only an iron fist and a destructive ideology that ignores human nature for an undefined “general good.” Meanwhile, Daniel Ortega, obviously a Communist, has announced no more elections in Nicaragua. If the Marxists-Islamists and, yes, the Democrat Party get their way, election results will be nothing but a foregone conclusion in their favor, a Potemkin exercise in phony democracy, as they destroy the electoral processes established in our Constitution and further alter our immigration and census systems, as well as usurp electoral procedures in the states. Also, this on-again, off-again conflict with Iran won't lead to victory. Success requires fully embracing available tools: first, arming, training, and supporting the Iranian people with air cover, satellite monitoring, and a determined CIA leadership; second, ignoring pressure from Arab countries while fully utilizing Israel's powerful air force, Mossad intelligence, and IDF.Later, the Democrats' new Senate candidate in Maine to replace Graham Platner Troy Jackson has his own issues yet faces little accountability. Separately, Michigan socialist Abdul El-Sayed is set for a campaign fundraiser co-hosted by Kelly Newman, who in 2024 honored her grandfather's military service for the Nazis. Finally, the media constantly demands evidence of non-citizens voting and claims none exists, yet Gov Mikie Sherrill announced thousands of non-citizens were found on the state's voting rolls due to a software glitch in the motor vehicle system. This exposes the larger issue that federal law requires states to purge voter rolls periodically, but blue states like New Jersey and California refuse, leaving dead people, movers, and illegal aliens on the rolls. Democrats and the media still insist elections are the cleanest in history while opposing voter ID and lying about existing requirements—proving they enable fraud rather than clean the system. This week, we're bringing you a special episode from Revisionist History, Malcolm Gladwell's podcast about things overlooked and misunderstood. Gladwell's show recently investigated the story of what was once the biggest secession movement in the US since the Civil War: the movement by disillusioned residents in Staten Island to secede from New York City. The Staten Island Problem, Revisionist History's newest five-part series, reconstructs the battle for New York during the turbulent early 1990s—the rise of Rudy Giuliani, the peak of the homicide rate, the Wu-Tang Clan, young Donald Trump, and the first Black mayor of New York—all through the prism of the city's oft-forgotten borough. Why tell this story now? Because the island's secession movement is an early example of the politics of resentment that dominates America today. The first episode of The Staten Island Problem tells the story of David Dinkins, the first Black mayor of New York, facing off with the borough president of Staten Island all while trying to hold his city together.Revisionist History and The Staten Island Problem are produced by Pushkin Industries. New York's socialist mayor just completely folded on his big promise to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. You need to see this before the media spins it away. Zohran Mamdani spent days threatening to lock up Netanyahu over the ICC warrant if he visits NYC. Now he admits in a video that the city has zero legal authority to do it. He still calls him a war criminal and says he's “not welcome,” while begging the feds to join the ICC and arrest him. Trump already shut that down. This is classic performative politics from a progressive mayor who knows the law and that America never joined the ICC. Blue-city leaders treat a key ally like a criminal while ignoring real threats. Loud threats, empty follow-through, and selective “international law” aimed only at Israel. Pat also covered: Day 38: Senator Mitch McConnell continues to be missing from the Senate. Pistol Pete testifying on exactly how much money we spent in Iran. Thanks to Trump, Americans can now travel to Lebanon. Marco Rubio: Trump is NOT playing games with Iran. Why is Ken Paxton not answering questions? Does Mamdani's walk-back prove these threats were always just theater? How much longer are Americans supposed to take this kind of unserious anti-Israel grandstanding from big-city mayors? Sending FBI Director Kash Patel to Moscow right before the Midterms is like sending a coked-up frat boy into a whorehouse in hell, and the FSB will eat him alive. As Trump pushes the SAVE Act to disenfranchise millions, is he calling in Russian reinforcements to steal Congress? Can we overcome a gutted Voting Rights Act, MAGA poll taxes, and Russian cyber warfare and disinformation brainrotting? Yes. By treating our vote as sacred and doing the unglamorous, powerful grassroots work that wins elections–and ensured Zohran Mamdani defeated Andrew Cuomo not once, but twice. We deserve nice things–but we must work for them. That's how progress gets made. Our heroes who came before us felt demoralized and tired, too. Andrea's new book, A Reasonable Guide for Unreasonable Women: 20 Steps to Find Your Purpose and Power in a World on Fire, shares some of their stories and insights. We can put an end to Trump and Putin's dreams of turning America into a Russian-style oligarchy by remembering our power. On this week's show, we're joined by comedian and activist Pete Dominick of the Stand Up with Pete Dominick podcast. We break down the Epstein files, media intimidation, and the growing resistance to authoritarianism. In our bonus show, available exclusively for our Patreon and Substack supporters, we name names of who in the media enabled Trump's rise, and Pete shares what it was like trolling Trump to his face on The Apprentice. The recent court ruling on anchor babies is actively codifying illegal alien welfare entitlements — and the GOP is doing nothing to stop it. Immigration labor scholar Jason Richwine joins me to expose the true fiscal and cultural costs of mass migration, rooted in the stealing of citizenship by anchor babies. We discuss how birthright citizenship intersects with Medicaid, SNAP, housing costs, labor markets, mass migration, assimilation, and the long-term fiscal burden on American taxpayers. Jason uses Miami as a case study to show how even American-born children of those from the third world are not assimilating. If we don't end the balkanization of America and protect our sovereignty, the consequences will be irreversible. Yet the GOP really has not changed its tune one iota. If former Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger could go back to the end of 2023, knowing everything that's happened since, what would he tell himself? He reflects on what America has become, why he believes it’s okay to change your mind (he now votes Democratic!), what still gives him hope, and why he understands that tomorrow isn't guaranteed for politicians or democracy itself. To learn more, go to https://www.country1st.com or https://www.adamkinzinger.com.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The midterm elections are taking shape around some of the biggest issues facing the country: border security, government accountability, foreign influence, and the cultural battles reshaping America. Jesse Kelly breaks down the stories driving the national conversation, from Americans killed by criminal illegal immigrants to the unanswered questions surrounding COVID-era decisions, Cuba’s influence operations, and the debate over how vulnerable young people have been treated. With control of Washington on the line, this episode examines the political environment heading into the midterms, the challenges facing both parties, and why messaging, trust, and public confidence in institutions will play a major role in the months ahead. In a world where the lines between truth and deception are increasingly blurred, one thing is clear: the Democratic Socialists of America are on the move, and their influence is being felt across the country. This episode delves into the world of DSA, where the speaker shares his thoughts on the party's rise to power and its potential impact on the midterms. The speaker discusses the recent comments made by Van Jones, a prominent progressive Democrat, who spoke out against the DSA's extreme policies. While some may see this as a positive development, the speaker argues that it's too little, too late, and that the damage has already been done. He also touches on the topic of progressivism, socialism, and communism, highlighting the dangers of these ideologies and how they can lead to the erosion of individual freedoms. The conversation also explores the concept of the "working class" and how it's being used by politicians like Man Danny, who claims to be a champion of the working man but can't even define what that means. The speaker reveals the true nature of Man Danny's constituency, which is actually made up of higher-income, white, and highly educated voters, not the working class he claims to represent. If you're interested in understanding the complexities of the DSA and its impact on American politics, tune in to this episode to hear the speaker's insightful analysis and commentary. The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Ep. 214 The Democratic Party is in trouble. Many of us have known that for a long time, but only a few Democrats have. This is the moment where that needs to change. Through internal declarations of their own, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), which is for all intents and purposes a Marxist-Leninist Communist organization, isn't just winning primary elections on the Democratic ticket; they are also intending to take over the Democratic Party (and teachers unions) writ large. This is in every respect an emergency situation for Democrats and for America herself. In this episode of the New Discourses Podcast, host James Lindsay reads through the entire DSA platform (https://program.dsausa.org/) and its introduction so that people can see it is exactly what so many fear it is: a Communist party with a Marxist-Leninist agenda. Join him for this important episode and share it with Democrats who might be willing to listen. SCHEDUKE JBS 7-21-26Elizabeth Peek joins John Batchelor to discuss how rising gasoline prices act as a talisman for consumer sentiment and presidential approval. Despite low unemployment and rising real wages, the public remains fixated on energy costs. Peek criticizes Republican messaging and highlights the massive AI-driven investment boom currently occurring. (1)Elizabeth Peek discusses New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani's inability to define the "working class." She argues the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) primarily represent white, college-educated liberals rather than manual laborers. They also discuss Kevin Warsh as a potential Fed chairman and the independence of interest rate decisions. (2)Peter Berkowitz examines Vice President JD Vance's views on restoring Christianity in America. Berkowitz highlights the ambiguity in Vance's stance regarding government involvement in religion. They contrast Vance's rhetoric with James Madison's historical opposition to state-funded religion, emphasizing the constitutional separation of church and state. (3)Ahmad Sharawi reports on Syria's interception of sophisticated Iranian weapons—including cruise missile components—destined for Hezbollah. The weapons were concealed in Iraqi oil tankers. This move is seen as Al-Shara's attempt to gain international trust and investment by demonstrating a commitment to containing Hezbollah's rearmament. (4)Mary Kissel discusses the ongoing conflict with Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. She argues there is no diplomatic overlap because Iran views nuclear weapons as essential for survival. Kissel notes the lack of a broad international coalition and warns that regional allies might seek accommodation with Tehran. (5)Mary Kissel turns to NATO's lack of unity regarding the Ukraine war. Kissel argues that while Eastern Europeannations feel the threat, Western Europe focuses on domestic politics. She highlights the emergence of a "new alliance" of Russia, Iran, and China, which poses a significant hybrid threat. (6)Joseph Sternberg analyzes China's struggling economy, noting that official growth targets are likely overstated. Facing a real estate crater and demographic decline, China is reverting to an export-heavy model. Unlike Japan's past recovery, China's adversarial stance makes trading partners less willing to absorb its gluts. (7)Joseph Sternberg discusses the transition to Prime Minister Andy Burnham in the UK. Burnham, who took office without an election mandate, faces a heavily taxed economy and bond market skepticism. Sternberg critiques Burnham's big-government agenda and resistance to market reforms, suggesting it may drive away wealth. (8)Gregory Copley evaluates Prime Minister Andy Burnham's new cabinet, specifically John Healey as Chancellor and Wes Streeting as Defense Secretary. While the government aims to boost defense spending and support Ukraine, Copley questions its legitimacy without a fresh mandate and notes a lack of long-term global strategic planning. (9)Gregory Copley covers the alienation of Canada under the Trump administration. Copley explains how Canada is diversifying its defense procurement—buying Swedish aircraft and Australian radar—rather than relying on the US. This shift threatens the NORAD partnership and results in billions of dollars lost for US aerospace industries. (10)Gregory Copley explores the "balance of ignorance," where declining literacy and social media lead to a loss of national identity. He argues that governments make poor strategic decisions because they no longer understand their own history or adversaries, citing the current US conflict with Iran as a primary example. (11)Gregory Copley explains King Charles III's role in forming Andy Burnham's government. The King's "blessing" provides constitutional legitimacy to the transition. Copley notes Burnham is the first practicing Roman Catholic Prime Minister and highlights the King's departure to Glasgow to open the Commonwealth Games. (12)Former Congressman Thaddeus McCotter discusses how rising gas prices and inflation hurt Republicans in swing states. They also examine the Trump administration's use of the Smoot-Hawley Act to threaten tariffs on Canada. McCotter views these as punitive measures that weaken the broader argument for necessary trade protections. (13)Thaddeus McCotter comments on a recent presidential address regarding the 2020 election. He argues that claiming the system is "rigged" is counterproductive for Republican turnout. McCotter suggests that voters care far more about the "price of gas" and groceries than relitigating past elections that the party lost. (14)John Batchelor and Peter Huessy review classic nuclear war films like Godzilla, On the Beach, and Dr. Strangelove. Huessy argues that while these films highlight the horrors of nuclear use, real-world focus has evolved toward deterrence and sophisticated safety systems designed to prevent accidental or unauthorized missile launches. (15)Peter Huessy continues the discussion of nuclear films like Fail Safe and The Day After. Huessy disputes claims that The Day After motivated Ronald Reagan's arms control efforts, noting Reagan was a committed advocate for nuclear reductions long before the movie's massive 1983 television broadcast. (16)Corrections applied silently: Ahmad Sharawi (4) and Thaddeus McCotter (13, 14) per the log.
Tonight, new U.S. airstrikes on Iran. This comes after America's top defense official was asked to explain how the Iranian military he said was "destroyed and made combat ineffective" just days into the war is still a deadly threat now. Plus, it was the crash of a Pan Am flight nearly 75 years ago that led to the mandatory safety briefings we get before every takeoff. Now, that long-lost wreckage has been found.
