With 2 Million Independent TN Voters 775k Votes is the Magic Number. Where Do Trump Voters Go Next? Reason Over Extremism. Independence Never Goes Out Of Style. Tennessee looks like a red wall on the map. Look closer. Roughly 48% of eligible voters there are unaffiliated — the highest share in the state (34%-R/18%-D/48%-I) — and only a third of them bothered to show up last midterm. That's not apathy. That's the angry middle waiting for someone worth voting for. Lauren Pinkston, independent candidate for governor, joins Paul to make the case that 2026 is the year Tennessee breaks the one-party stranglehold, and she's got the math, the ground game, and the biography to back it up. Pinkston is a seventh-generation Tennessean, a PhD in international development who lived five years inside a communist country watching elections up close, a mother advocating for a child with special needs, and a founder who built a business with survivors of human trafficking. In this conversation, she breaks down the 775,000-vote path to victory, why 60-70% of her incoming support is Republicans looking for an off-ramp from the MAGA machine, the $83 billion road backlog Nashville won't touch, the housing crisis pricing working families out of their own state, and why open primaries are non-negotiable for anyone who actually believes in the Constitution. It's a briefing on what independent infrastructure looks like when it's built right — couch by couch, county by county. -WATCH full video of this episode here. -Visit Kalshi and trade on anything. The Department of Justice is cracking down on nationwide protests erupting over President Trump's border policies. Backed by a new $70-billion Homeland Security bill funding ICE and Border Patrol, federal prosecutors have charged 15 individuals in Minnesota with violently resisting federal officers. FOX News' Bill Melugin speaks with former Acting ICE Director Jonathan Fahey to break down the DOJ's new legal strategy, and the intense political battle across the country that's shaping the future of America's immigration enforcement. Average grade point averages in American high schools and colleges have mysteriously skyrocketed over recent decades, leaving many to wonder if a 4.0 still means what it used to as an A becomes the nation's most common grade. Neetu Arnold of the Manhattan Institute joins to discuss how grade inflation and a decline in school accountability have compromised academic readiness, the consequences for students entering higher education and the workforce, and why elite universities are reversing pandemic-era policies to bring back standardized testing metrics. Shaun Morash and Tiki Barber shift from Knicks parade fever to a huge World Cup moment, with global stars delivering on the big stage and the United States preparing for its next match. They break down how travel, heat, humidity, and unfamiliar conditions could shape the tournament in America. The conversation then returns to the Knicks and whether this championship team has the makeup to win again. Shaun and Tiki discuss Jalen Brunson's clutch edge, the depth that carried New York through the playoffs, Mike Brown's coaching growth, and why health may be the biggest factor in the Knicks staying on top.
We recap a fun sports weekend in America, which included brawls on the White House lawn and beautiful game shenanigans. Then, we break down all the angles to the screwworm outbreak that will decimate ranchers and turn hamburger into a collectible item. Some greatest generation patriots had originally fixed this in the 60's by being big fans of watching flies bone. No matter where you are on Trump's stupid, illegal war, there's no doubt that Trump and America lost. And Iran won. We come out of it much weaker. This is what happens when you have an idiotic sociopath in the White House. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
So - which one is it? Is it Trump pushing the VP onto the media circuit so America can see who HE WANTS his heir apparent? Or is Trump gauging OUR reaction to how Vance handles toxic attack programs like The View so he can determine if Vance has what it takes to win? Either way... the Veep does a good job disarming his political haters as Harry Enten tries desperately to convince America that it does not prefer Vance over Marco Rubio. Adam Carolla in 2 minutes dismantles the argument that "both sides" of the political aisle are bad for democracy.

Michael Pettis joins Alan Dunne for a wide ranging conversation on trade imbalances, globalization and the future of the world economy. Drawing on decades of research into China, Europe and financial history, Pettis argues that persistent trade surpluses are ultimately rooted in domestic income imbalances rather than national competitiveness. The discussion explores why China struggles to rebalance, why Europe may face its biggest challenge yet, and how US reindustrialization could reshape global trade. From Bretton Woods to modern tariffs, this episode offers a provocative framework for understanding the forces driving the next phase of the global economy.-----50 YEARS OF TREND FOLLOWING BOOK AND BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO FOR ACCREDITED INVESTORS - CLICK HERE-----Follow Niels on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube or via the TTU website.IT's TRUE ? – most CIO's read 50+ books each year – get your FREE copy of the Ultimate Guide to the Best Investment Books ever written here. And you can get a free copy of my latest book “Ten Reasons to Add Trend Following to Your Portfolio” here.Learn more about the Trend Barometer here.Send your questions to info@toptradersunplugged.comAnd please share this episode with a like-minded friend and leave an honest Rating & Review on iTunes or Spotify so more people can discover the podcast.Follow Alan on LinkedIn.Follow Michael on X.Episode TimeStamps: 00:00 - Michael Pettis warns that the real trade reckoning may still lie ahead01:07 - Introduction to Michael Pettis and his background in finance and economics06:34 - Why trade imbalances are ultimately driven by income imbalances09:59 - Germany's Hartz reforms and the roots of European imbalances17:22 - Competitiveness versus productivity and the hidden costs of wage suppression27:48 - China's growth model and why rebalancing has proved so difficult35:54 - Who will absorb China's trade surplus if the US closes its deficit?40:24 - Can the United States successfully reindustrialize?45:31 - Why Europe may eventually turn toward protectionism52:17 - The US deficit, global capital flows and the burden of dollar dominance01:01:50 - Why the renminbi is unlikely to replace the dollar01:10:45 - Historical trade imbalances and how painful adjustments unfold01:16:21 - What Japan's experience reveals about China's future01:21:02 - Final reflections on debt, globalization and economic adjustmentCopyright © 2025 – CMC AG – All Rights Reserved----PLUS: Whenever you're ready... here are 3 ways I can help you in your investment Journey:1. eBooks that cover key topics that you need to know about In my eBooks, I put together some key discoveries and things I have learnt during the more than 3 decades I have worked in the Trend Following industry, which I hope you will find useful. More than a million people are coming to America this summer for this year's World Cup soccer matches. It's “sports tourism.” At The DrillDown, however, host Peter Schweizer is more interested in stopping what he has called “birth tourism.” “The Trump administration announced actions against networks in Africa that were designed to provide birth tourism,” Schweizer says. “This is where foreign women, wives or girlfriends of people in these countries are sneaking into the United States to give birth so their child will be born a US citizen. We have exposed this as it relates to China, Russia, Turkey, and other countries. but this is a positive development – exciting news.”
Argentina's soccer star Lionel Messi had a match for the ages Tuesday night at Arrowhead as he started quickly with a goal that was taken away by an offside call. So he proceded to score three more! All three in the match to be accurate as Argentina and it's 50,000 or so fans at Arrowhead went wild watching a 3-0 win over Algeria. It was spectacular. But how many Kansas Citians were there remains a bit of a mystery and doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. KC residents turned out everywhere Tuesday for free fan events and watch parties and we're clearly finding our stride. There were shots of some empty seats at Arrowhead even though 500 million people were watching on tv globally, and a Sports Illustrated writer posted a screenshot from a ticket service two hours before the start that had tickets for $69. We cover all the stories, all over the country on today's episode. The Big 12's lawsuit filed against Ken Paxton and Texas Tech was just a stone cold killer. The suit had nothing to do with the gambling quarterback, wait until you hear what their rock star law firm dialed up for the conference. President Trump stars at the G7 and touts peace, low oil prices and a skyrocketing stock market. Then he just hammers Obama. JD Vance's book tour is not going well. It's not a disaster but I just don't understand what he's doing right now. The annual fast food customer service rankings are out and for the first time in over a decade, Chik Fil A is not the winner. Steve, Dana, and Julia gather once more—for almost the last time—to unpack the week's culture. This week, conversation has to include the cultural, cinematic juggernaut Steven Spielberg and his new film Disclosure Day. Starring Josh O'Connor and Emily Blunt, it's a sci-fi, action thriller about the longheld Spielbergian obsession: extraterrestrial life. Does it deliver that trademark Spielberg sense of wonder or tired cliches… or both?Next, they welcome longtime friend of the program Isaac Butler to discuss his new book The Perfect Moment: God, Sex, Art, and the Birth of America's Culture Wars and threats to free expression past, present, and future. In this week's podcast Phelim gives us a sample of his important piece that was just published in the Wall Street Journal (linked below) about Ireland's descent into antisemitism and how author James Joyce predicted this 100 years ago. We also look at the impact Phelim's story has made and the vile antisemitic abuse he has received. In a related matter you may have seen there were riots in Ireland recently. The truth is Ireland may not like Jews but the elites really like to import head-chopping immigrants. We bring you the list of recent attempted beheadings in Ireland. Yes - that is a real sentence. We also bring the details on how Ireland is learning that Diversity is Not Our Strength. We didn't want to become a podcast about anti-semitism but somehow we're among the few podcasts that expose it. This week we reveal more from the poison Ivy League schools and a Cornell brat who turned down an internship because he's “not interested in working for Jews.” Our elite universities are fostering the ignorant as well as the bigoted as one crazy headline reveals an illiteracy problem at Berkeley! And so-called documentary film maker Josh Fox is lying again - of course he is. You knew him from lying about fracking (he's the liar behind the fake documentary GasLand). Guess what his latest cause is now. This week we ask: why is HBO allowing such obvious lies to go out on air? (Because they hate America?) Speaking of fiction disguised as fact, NPR's Fake News show All Things Considered does it again. This time they allowed a contributor to state, unchallenged, that America has not changed or improved since the racial segregation of the 60s. It seems on NPR you can lie about anything as long as you blame Trump. This week we bring you more crazy headlines courtesy of Crazy Canada. Watch this week to see where trillionaire envy meets “respectable” news. Elon Musk Derangement Syndrome is a real thing. And more, much more than this. Last weekend we saw our friend - the amazing Robert Davi - sing the great American Song Book in Los Angeles. Robert is multi-talented. You might know him as an actor from movies such as Die Hard and The Goonies. Of course he was the wonderful Director on the My Son Hunter movie - exposing the corruption of the Biden crime family. Live from HeroesCon 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina, we're celebrating the beautiful kinship between cartoonists Kyle Starks and Chris Schweizer, the industry's most notable BFFs. Their meet-cute occurred ten years ago at HeroesCon, the most comic book comic convention in America, but it solidified during an adventure to claim a “Tiger Truck.” You can take a second to unpack that last sentence, or you can just go ahead and press play on this week's podcast episode. We discuss how a passion for comics, Kyle's location, and its relation to a town where Chris collects his lumber brought these friends together. Eventually, this would lead to collaboration on books such as Rock Candy Mountain, Mars Attacks, 6 Sidekicks of Trigger Keaton, and Karate Prom. They are two singular creators with the determination to do things their own way, but somehow, through the bickering, they make magic. It was a pleasure to sit across from these two while they regaled us, and a HeroesCon audience, with tales of triumph, defeat, and consternation. One's a grump. One's chill. One's an optimist. One's a realist. Who's who might surprise you. We're delighted to platform these comic book besties. Recently, Kyle Starks wrapped up Wrestle Heist for Image Comics, and it will land in bookstores on August 4th. He also completed Where Monsters Lie: Dead End via Kickstarter and is currently writing the Vertigo Comics series, End of Life. Follow him on BlueSky, Instagram, Patreon, and his Website. Chris Schweizer is weeks away from launching his next Kickstarter campaign for Outlaw's Apprentice: Broken Blade, the first graphic novel in his Appalachian-inspired swashbuckling fantasy series. You can also read it on Webtoon and Patreon. Follow him on BlueSky, Instagram, and his Website. Is the new Iran deal a historic mistake, and is modern America repeating the fatal errors of Ancient Rome? Ben Domenech breaks down current foreign policy shifts with legendary historian Victor Davis Hanson. In this edition of The Big Ben Show, Ben unpacks his major reservations regarding the proposed Iran memorandum of understanding (MOU) and what it reveals about American strength. Joined by Victor Davis Hanson, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, they dive deep into the administration's foreign policy strategy, the reality of regional military threats, and whether modern America is tracking the cultural, fiscal, and border-related collapse of the Western Roman Empire. Later in the episode, culinary icon Christopher Kimball joins the show to celebrate America's 250th anniversary through our unique food traditions. Kimball shares budget-friendly cooking strategies to combat inflation, grilling secrets for your summer celebrations, and explores how GLP-1 lifestyle shifts are fundamentally altering American palates. Over the last few days, Vice President JD Vance has been everywhere. From The View to the major networks to Gutfeld, the White House has put Vance front and center. This isn’t a media tour. It’s a message. America already knows who JD Vance is. This isn’t about introducing him. It’s about reminding the country, and the Republican Party, exactly where he stands. I believe President Trump is making it crystal clear that JD Vance is next in line. And the timing is no accident. As impressive as Marco Rubio has been, and he has been exceptional, his influence and popularity inside this administration continue to grow. Rubio’s rise has been one of the biggest stories in Washington. Now comes the Vance reminder. President Trump understands politics better than anyone. He knows perception becomes reality. By putting Vance everywhere, he’s reinforcing a simple fact: there may be many talented leaders in this administration, but there is only one vice president. The message couldn’t be clearer. JD Vance isn’t just serving alongside President Trump. He’s being positioned as the future of the America First movement. Today, we break down why Vance is suddenly everywhere and why President Trump appears determined to make sure the entire country knows exactly who he wants carrying the torch when his time in office is done. It looks like President Trump may finally have reached a peace deal that will put an end to the war in Iran, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a war that never should have started to begin with. Matt Kibbe is joined by Joe Kent, former director of counterterrorism for the Trump administration, to discuss why Americans were led to believe that Iran was an existential threat that needed to be dealt with immediately, when in fact the war was never in America's interests.
In this episode, Rivers and Carter are hanging out at Disgraceland with one of our all-time favorite guests, comedian Nicole Yates! We tart this one off with a wild story of a recent family bonding experience in West Georgi in which a father and son teamed up for a drive-by shooting. We also sample an awful energy water called "Orka," and talk about its incredibly eco-friendly packaging. There's an update on the never-ending fall of "America's Job," MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell. Plus, Rivers tells the story of Charles Mallory Hatfield, a con artist from the early 1900s who made a fortune by claiming he could summon rain in Southern California. Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 4 (6.16) In this episode, we’re kicking things off with World Cup fans visiting from all over the world — and reminding us just how great America really is. From the beauty of the country to the kindness of Americans, sometimes it takes visitors to help us appreciate what we have right in front of us. Then it’s time for a Shark PSA: if you go into the ocean, you may legitimately be swimming with sharks. With El Niño conditions bringing a possible surge in shark activity, we break down why great whites may be closer than you think — and why the ocean is still their home, not ours. Next, we head to West Hollywood for a little nightlife buzz as lesbian bars make a comeback, including SweetWater, the new WeHo hotspot bringing community, cocktails, and culture back to the scene. And finally: Alcohol Cannnnnzz, OnlyFanzzz, Lotta Manzzzz, and Also-Ranzzz. We dive into the viral neighborhood drama surrounding alleged influencer activity, content creators, party litter, and those infamous BuzzBallz-style alcohol cans making everyone ask: what exactly is going on over there? Trending Keywords: World Cup fans, America is beautiful, American kindness, USA travel, patriotic podcast, shark PSA, swimming with sharks, great white sharks, El Niño sharks, shark surge, ocean safety, California sharks, lesbian bars, SweetWater WeHo, West Hollywood nightlife, LGBTQ nightlife, OnlyFans house, influencer drama, content creators, BuzzBallz, alcohol cans, viral neighborhood drama, Lotta Colada, trending news, pop culture podcast, viral stories See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 1 (6.16) In this episode, we’re diving into some of the biggest, boldest, and most talked-about stories making waves right now. First, five people have been arrested after the FBI reportedly foiled a shocking drone and sniper plot connected to White House Fight Night. Then, we welcome World Cup fans to America as visitors praise the country’s beauty and the kindness of Americans. While local news often focuses on what is wrong, today we’re taking a moment to say: be proud of this country. Next, we head to the coast to talk about great white shark nurseries, where the hot spots are, and why California could see a major surge in sharks with El Niño conditions on the way. From shark bite power to why sharks usually reject humans as prey, we break down the fascinating facts behind one of the ocean’s most misunderstood predators. We also talk emergency preparedness as tectonic stress along Southern California’s San Andreas and San Jacinto fault systems reaches alarming levels. Get water. Store water. Be ready. And to close things out, West Hollywood gets a fresh new nightlife destination with the opening of SweetWater, a new lesbian bar bringing community, culture, and celebration to WeHo. Trending Keywords: FBI drone plot, White House Fight Night, sniper plot, World Cup fans, America is beautiful, American kindness, patriotic podcast, great white sharks, shark nurseries, California sharks, El Niño, shark surge, shark facts, shark bite PSI, San Andreas Fault, San Jacinto Fault, Southern California earthquake, emergency preparedness, store water, WeHo nightlife, SweetWater WeHo, lesbian bar, LGBTQ nightlife, trending news, viral stories See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Conway Jr Show Hour 2 (6.16) In this episode, we’re cracking open a wild mix of neighborhood drama, fast-food shakeups, safety reminders, and viral pop-culture chaos. First, residents in an Encino neighborhood say they are fed up with suspicious activity at a nearby home they believe may be used by influencers and content creators filming for OnlyFans. Neighbors claim they have seen scantily clad women in the front yard, litter in the streets, and alcohol cans left behind — including BuzzBallz, the viral ready-to-drink cocktails packing 15% alcohol with flavors like Lotta Colada. Then it’s time for our Fast-Food Update. KFC is rolling out a massive global revamp with a focus on boneless chicken, more than 20 new sauces, next-generation restaurant designs, and a modernized Colonel Sanders logo. The famous red chicken buckets are getting a fresh new look as KFC tries to bring chicken closer to its chicken-loving peers. We also talk about a simple but serious safety reminder: stop wearing all black when walking around after sunset. It may look cool, but it can be extremely dangerous for drivers trying to see pedestrians at night. Next, we break down the big Pizza Hut business shakeup, with reports of Yum! Brands selling Pizza Hut in major transactions. As restaurant prices keep climbing, one thing is clear: pizza is not as affordable as it used to be. And finally, why are kids between 10 and 20 being called the “Lime Generation”? Gen Z and Gen Alpha are colliding with memes, viral aesthetics, Skittles colors, and internet culture. Plus, the Knicks are dominating the tattoo space as emotional fans turn big sports moments into permanent ink. BuzzBallz, Lotta Colada, OnlyFans house, Encino neighborhood, influencer house, content creators, viral cocktails, 15% alcohol drinks, neighborhood drama, KFC revamp, boneless chicken, KFC sauces, Colonel Sanders, fast food news, next-gen restaurants, Pizza Hut sale, Yum Brands, pizza prices, pedestrian safety, walking at night, black clothing safety, Gen Z trends, Gen Alpha, Lime Generation, Skittles trend, viral memes, Knicks tattoos, sports tattoos, trending news, pop culture podcast See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

President Trump said a two-page memorandum of understanding, or MOU, has be signed between the U.S and the Islamic Republic of Iran that will end the war and open the Strait of Hormuz. But will this deal bring about a lasting peace in the region or has peace just become another five-letter word. Senior Fellow at FDD, David Daoud, and Bill speculate as to what will become of the Middle East, and America's influence in the region, as this very thin MOU moves forward.
What happens when a simple idea to connect with other moms becomes a national brand, secures major retail partnerships, and launches a new mission to help women entrepreneurs grow smarter? In this episode of Sharkpreneur, Seth Greene interviews Lindsay Pinchuk, Founder and CEO of Lindsay Pinchuk Marketing + Consulting. She shares how she turned a $500 investment into a seven-figure brand, partnered with major companies such as Target, Nordstrom, Huggies, and Unilever, and ultimately navigated the challenges of selling her company. She also discusses the power of partnerships, staying authentic while scaling, and how she now helps women small business owners build meaningful, sustainable businesses. Key Takeaways:→ Strategic local partnerships with retailers, experts, and community leaders can help companies quickly build trust.→ Maintaining trust with your audience means saying no to products, brands, and partnerships that don't align with your values. → How to turn brand interest into formal sponsorship through national partnerships with major brands. → Finding brand ambassadors in new cities lets you scale your business while keeping your brand personal and community-driven. → Simple marketing fundamentals still work for small businesses. Lindsay Pinchuk is an award-winning entrepreneur and one of fewer than 1% of female founders to lead her company through an acquisition.
