We were never designed to do life in a vacuum. In this kickoff to our Family pillar series, Pastor Andy explores the radical reality of Acts 2:42—a community so devoted to one another that it changed history. We often view family through the lens of our past experiences—some beautiful, some broken. But Kingdom family isn't about finding a perfect environment; it's about taking personal responsibility to create one. In this message, we confront the modern barriers to connection (technology, busyness, and walls masquerading as boundaries) and issue a challenge: move from being a consumer of community to a cultivator of it. Revival is sustained in family. Are you ready to show up? This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWOIn the early 1900s, Boyd was a thriving rural town, home to more than 500 residents. Today, fewer than 200 remain—and one house continues to draw attention for reasons that can't be explained. Known locally as the Boyd House, the home has become the center of persistent paranormal activity tied to its former occupants and the life that once filled its rooms.Stories surrounding the house point to Fred and Minnie Eckhardt and their eleven children, raising questions about whether remnants of that family still linger within the walls. Footsteps, voices, and unexplained activity suggest the home may not have fully let go of its past. Our guest, Jill Shelley, has spent years investigating the unexplained with St. Croix Paranormal. In 2018, she purchased the Boyd House, intentionally stepping into a lifelong goal of owning a haunted property. Why This Episode Matters:This episode is a deep, grounded reminder that longevity in music doesn't come from chasing trends or algorithms. It comes from doing the work, living life, and letting experience shape the sound. Recorded in person at Nothing_Neue's Brooklyn studio, the conversation is reflective, practical, and quietly powerful.Who is Nothing_Neue:Nothing_Neue is a Brooklyn-based producer and artist whose work sits at the intersection of broken beat, soul, hip-hop, and experimental rhythm. Alongside his own artistic output, he works within the music tech world, giving him a rare dual perspective on creativity, industry pressure, and identity. What We Dive Into:* Why living life is essential to making meaningful music* The danger of chasing “radio friendly” or algorithm-approved sounds* Separating your artistic identity from your day job* Morning practice, discipline, and removing creative pressure* Letting unfinished ideas have value instead of forcing outcomes* Why support has to be active, not passive* Choosing an unconventional path and accepting unconventional resultsThree Key Takeaways:* You can't skip life and expect great art: Music gets better when it's informed by lived experience, not constant output.* Unconventional paths come with unconventional timelines: If you choose authenticity, you have to accept results that don't mirror anyone else's.* Practice removes pressure: When music has a guaranteed place in your day, everything else becomes bonus time. Before You Go:If you've been forcing productivity or measuring your work against someone else's success, take a step back. Build your walls, rooms, and houses before worrying about the final home. Progress isn't always loud.Chapters:0:00 – In-studio intro from Brooklyn0:57 – D'Angelo, life experience, and making music too close to the work2:46 – Why living life improves creativity4:04 – Gym vs bike analogy for creative process4:46 – Printing demos and listening away from the studio6:45 – Distance, objectivity, and breaking critical habits9:28 – Substances, creativity, and emotional avoidance11:42 – Pain, avoidance, and emotional honesty13:48 – Family, mortality, and confronting old wounds16:55 – Reprioritizing time, discipline, and energy19:57 – Discovering The Big Leap and the upper-limit problem24:38 – Self-imposed ceilings and early musical validation28:46 – Playlist Retreat, imposter syndrome, and belonging32:54 – Music as a communal experience36:12 – Letting ego step aside for collaboration40:41 – Translating inspiration into technique45:24 – How Nothing Neue practices instruments48:54 – Learning taste, preference, and musical language52:02 – Weed, reading, and rethinking time55:18 – Walls, Rooms, Houses, Homes creative framework58:53 – Morning practice and removing pressure1:03:18 – Weekday vs weekend creative routines1:05:24 – Recent releases and upcoming remixes1:06:27 – Favorite hardware and inspirations1:07:41 – Artists that changed his thinking1:07:57 – Best free tools and YouTube as education1:12:55 – Learning fundamentals vs chasing shortcuts1:17:44 – Rapid-fire questions1:18:33 – Loneliness in the music industry1:20:06 – Underrated “product” for creatives1:21:26 – Advice ignored and advice worth ignoring1:23:24 – Authenticity over chasing radio success1:24:40 – Undoing algorithms and passive consumption1:27:21 – Active support, community, and closing thoughts1:29:02 – Final recap and ProducerHead outroList of References from the Interview:Songs / Artists* D'Angelo* Lyric JonesBooks* Making Records by Phil RamoneHardware / Tools* SP-404* Alpha Juno* SeratoConnect with Nothing_Neue:* YouTube: @NothingNeue* Instagram: @nothing_neue* Spotify: Nothing_Neue* Apple Music: Nothing_NeueConnect with Toru:* Website: torubeat.com* Instagram: @torubeat* YouTube: @torubeat* Spotify: Toru* Apple Music: ToruCredits:This episode was co-produced, engineered and edited by Matthew Diaz. Post-1391 there was a period of uncertainty but many Conversos still found it possible to maintain a level of observance - sometimes even openly. It appeared that a Modus Vivendi could be achieved. But in 1477 the Church persuaded Ferdinand & Isabella to institute the Inquisition; aimed not at Jews but at the 'heretical' New Christians. The 1480s became a decade of hiding, yet scholarship was increased and Spain became a centre of Jewish printing until the axe fell for the remaining Jews in 1492, and 4 months of despair turned into a mass exodus. Their decision to abandon everything and leave for the unknown - at great cost - was the largest display of faith in the past 1,000 years of Jewish history. Timestamps: - [0:00] Topic setup: Spain Part 2 — continuation on conversos/Jewish life pre- and post-1480. - [0:44] Intro & announcements: new website historyforthecurious.com and listener emails (Menorah/Vatican). - [6:07] Recap: 1391 massacres and Tortosa debates intensified pressure on Jews/conversos. - [12:15] Inquisition origins (1480): state-backed institution, torture, informers, auto-da-fé spectacles. - [20:07] Converso impact: shift from preserving family cohesion to living secret “cover stories.” - [24:28] La Guardia case (1491): blood libel, forced confessions, executions used to build case for expulsion. - [30:57] 1492: Fall of Granada and the Alhambra Decree — four months to leave, severe loss of property. - [52:18] Exodus hardships: banditry, ship abuses, disease, starvation; some returned/converted. - [56:07] Demographics: estimated ~150,000 left; major resettlement in Ottoman lands and North Africa. - [40:21 / 45:53] Culture & print: strong late-medieval Spanish rabbinic scholarship and early Hebrew printing; many books later burned but printing continued in exile. - [1:00:17] Legacy: Sephardic communities revitalized elsewhere; theme — persecution paired with spiritual resilience.

The Walls Are Falling Down | Miracle Sunday | January 25th 2026 Miracles happen when God steps in where human strength runs out. In this Miracle Sunday message, The Walls Are Falling Down, we walk through Joshua 6 and uncover how God brings supernatural breakthrough through obedience, trust, and His presence. The fall of Jericho reminds us that some walls are too big to push over—but not too big for God. This message explores: Why God's presence matters more than the miracle itself How obedience unlocks breakthrough How faith can redeem the past and impact future generations Why the victory shout always follows obedience If you're facing a wall you can't overcome on your own, this message will strengthen your faith and remind you that God is still in the miracle-working business.

[REDIFFUSION] 24 octobre 2018. Londres, Sotheby's. Une production Bababam Originals Learn more about your ad choices. In this special seasonal episode of the Hort Culture podcast, join Ray as he sits down with Boyd County Horticulture Extension Agent Lori Bowling to explore a truly impactful and unique horticulture program: the Federal Correctional Institution Master Gardener Program in Ashland, Kentucky. Lori shares the origin story of the program, which began more than two decades ago with a simple orchard planting and evolved into a full Kentucky Master Gardener certification offered inside a federal prison. Listeners learn how incarcerated participants complete the same rigorous coursework and volunteer requirements as any Master Gardener, while gaining valuable job skills, purpose, and confidence. The conversation highlights the program's far-reaching benefits, including the production of tens of thousands of pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables each year that are donated to River Cities Harvest and distributed to food-insecure families across Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. This episode powerfully illustrates how horticulture education, community partnerships, and Extension programming can change lives—both inside and outside prison walls—by growing food, skills, and hope.River Cities HarvestBoyd County Extension Horticulture ProgramQuestions/Comments/Feedback/Suggestions for Topics: hortculturepodcast@gmail.comCheck us out on Instagram!

Jay and a group of friends were teenagers when their interest in the paranormal led them into a condemned hospital near their hometown. Armed with a cheap EMF detector and confidence fueled by Ghost Hunters, they expected little more than a thrill.Inside the building, the atmosphere was stifling and chaotic—broken glass, graffiti, and decay everywhere. As they climbed the stairwell, painted messages on the walls seemed to guide them upward: Third floor is where it gets fun. Keep going. On the third floor, their equipment began to malfunction. An EMF spike occurred in a room marked with a pentagram, followed by the sudden death of their camera. As they attempted to leave, footsteps echoed through the hallway. A tall shadow crossed behind them. Then an empty liquor bottle lifted off the floor, paused, and hurled itself down the corridor. Some first investigations spark lifelong fascination. Others end in panic—and a vow never to return.#RealGhostStoriesOnline #ParanormalPodcast #TrueGhostStory #AbandonedHospital #GhostHuntingGoneWrong #ShadowFigure #HauntedLocations #ParanormalInvestigation #UnseenForce #ParanormalEncounter Love real ghost stories? I get to share something today I never thought I'd be able to say out loud. Alex Smith was my best information source about everything I ever knew about how Andy Reid coaches, hires and fires and thinks. On Tuesday, Smith let out what I've been saying about Andy and his staff and his OC's for years. It's good stuff and you want to hear this. Also, we'll play a clip from Smith on exactly why he dislikes the Denver Broncos and thinks they are a terrible #1 seed. The Royals are moving the walls in for Bobby Witt Jr and a whole bunch more homers at the K and they explain why this will lead to more wins. KU just destroys Iowa State at Allen Field House and everyone got to see what's possible with this year's team. We explore the big question... was this a one off or can this be repeated night in and night out? We saw two Trumps on Tuesday, one exuberant about economic news another flipping off a heckler. Oh my. There was a full on ICE freak out in KC as hundreds of ICE vehicles are parked in a giant lot in the Northland reportedly belonging to Chiefs owner Clark Hunt. Oh, and we're building a detention facility! Yes, yes and yes. More, more and more please. A famous Kansas City company is livid with the restaurant owned by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce for being fraudulent and cheap. This is a tasty story. The far left media take terrible pot shots at Dilbert creator Scott Adams who died at age 68. Celebs are getting arrested and our Final Final is some bad news for Obamacare.

THE SIEGE OF 717 AND THE VOLCANO OF THERA Colleague Professor Ed Watts, Author of The Romans. In 717 AD, Arab forces besieged Constantinople but failed due to the city's massive walls and "Greek fire." Professor Watts explains that a subsequent volcanic eruption in Thera was interpreted as divine punishment for the empire's sins, leading to a spiritual crisis and the rise of iconoclasm to appease God.
