In this episode, we're tackling your biggest questions about exercise, stress, and hormones. We explore why blood sugar may look more stable on workout days, what exercise intolerance really means (and when it's best to rest), and the difference between everyday stress and deeper hormonal imbalances. If you've ever wondered how stress shows up in your workouts, energy, and resilience, this one's for you. Timestamps:[1:55] Welcome [13:48] Health benefits of walking backwards[20:41] Could you talk more about exercise intolerance - when to push and when to hold back? How do we know when strength training we'll help and when to hold back and take a break?[35:23] I recently tried a cgm and started back at CrossFit two times a week. I noticed on my CrossFit days my blood sugar was lower and more stable. Is this a good indication that I'm ok to do this type of exercise?[47:03] I'm in my late 30s, working full time, and raising two kids. I feel like I'm constantly in "go mode". I know that stress affects hormones, but lately I've been wondering how much of my fatigue, irritability, and brain fog is really from my work load verses something deeper going on. What are some practical ways to support resilience when you can't just eliminate the stress? If you've ever told yourself “I don't have time to take care of myself” because you're too busy taking care of everyone else — this one's for you. Whether it's your kids, your job, your partner, aging parents, or your community — a lot of us are constantly pouring out… while running on empty. In this episode, I'm sharing a concept from CrossFit — “core to extremity” — and how it changed the way I think about showing up for others. We're talking about where real strength comes from, what happens when we don't start at the center, and how taking care of yourself first is not selfish — it's strategic. If you feel stretched thin or burned out, this might be the reframe you didn't know you needed.

What's up, everybody! Growth hormone supports anti-aging and can boost fat loss, but human growth hormone supplements don't always produce the best results. In this video, I'll show you how to boost growth hormone naturally by up to 2000% for the most growth hormone benefits!Growth hormone is vital for fat loss, muscle building, repair, and recovery. However, it declines with age—so it's something you want to boost naturally. When growth hormone levels decrease, we lose muscle mass, gain body fat, experience a decline in bone density, our skin becomes thinner, and insulin sensitivity decreases.Growth hormone works by signaling the hormone IGF-1 through a conversion process in the liver with the help of insulin. Although insulin is necessary for this process, excessive insulin can inhibit growth hormone. Obesity, sugar, stress, alcohol, overeating, low vitamin D, and poor sleep can also block growth hormone. To boost growth hormone naturally by 2 to 3x, try the following: •Increase GABA and melatonin •L-glutamine •Arginine (Avoid taking this close to a workout)•Cold therapy•Alpha-GPC •Hypoxia training•Keto diet •High-protein diet Deep sleep and intermittent fasting can significantly increase growth hormone levels by up to 5-10 times. To boost growth hormone by 10-15x, try prolonged fasting. The best way to boost human growth hormone is through high-intensity exercise. Try working with heavy loads for the best natural HGH booster. Squats, deadlifts, sprinting, and CrossFit can further boost growth hormone levels.Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988.
