C-Lo returns for an update but first Boomer was reading comments by Anthony Edwards saying he's the number one option on Team USA basketball. C-Lo starts with the Mets falling under .500 once again. Keith Hernandez does not like ‘LFGM' and called it ‘grotesque'. C-Lo has audio of a classic prank call to Steve Somers. Mike Francesa was not a fan of Joe Biden's performance at the presidential debate. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the golfing we did with Barstool's Fore Play golf. Jazz Chisolm Jr hit his fifth career grand slam as the Marlins erupted for six runs in the first inning off the National's Patrick Corbin, but it was not enough, as Miami lost their sixth straight game, 12-9 at Loan Depot Park. Luis Arraez, Bryan De La Cruz and Vidal Brujan each went 2-4 for the Fish, who had six hitters drive in at least a run in the game. Chisolm, Jr., now has six career grand slams, second on the Marlin's all-time list behind Mr. Marlin himself, Jeff Conine. Nick Senzel crushed two home runs for the Nats, driving in five runs. Jacob Young had three hits and three RBI's, and Try Lipscomb added three hits. The twelve runs scored by Miami were more than they had plated in their previous eight games combined, but it wasn't enough to stop them from losing their sixth straight game. The Marlins and Nats wrap up this four-game series tomorrow. Hour 1 The Yankees and Mets seasons got off to two very different starts. The Yankees swept the Astros in Houston and Juan Soto was dominant at the plate. The Mets get swept at home by the Brewers and Rhys Hoskins cemented himself as a Mets enemy. Fans were mad that Pete Alonso was on stage with Zach Bryan after losing their first two games. Fans are mad at the Mets dance team. Everything is spiraling. Boomer said it's a bad look for Alonso to do that publicly on Saturday night when you have a 1pm game the next day. Boomer said the Mets need JD Martinez in the lineup as soon as possible. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with audio of Juan Soto's RBI single. We also heard John Sterling's Soto HR call. No one gets the ‘Soto photo' reference. We heard from Howie Rose as the Mets were swept. Josh Hart said after last night's game that they prepare like Anunoby and Randle will not be back this season. In the final segment of the hour, The Jets get edge rusher Haasan Reddick. That came out of nowhere. The Jets are in a moment now where they have to go for it, because after Aaron Rodgers retires, they are going to have to start over with a new QB. We talked about the QBs in the upcoming draft and where JJ McCarthy and Michael Penix will land.  Hour 2 The Yankees started the season in the best way possible and the Mets the worst way possible. A caller said Soto is already a Yankee and cannot go to the Mets at any price. Gio can't believe people believe the story of Easter, but nobody believes Shohei Ohtani. Boomer said he hasn't heard anybody talking about Ohtani lately. Maybe the Diddy story took over instead. Jerry has audio of Evan Roberts vs Spike Eskin about Evan going to Mets opening day instead of coming to work. Evan called him a ‘dildo head'. Gio is not contributing to this ‘ruse'. In the final segment of the hour, there was a problem with the 3-point lines being different in an NCAA womens' game. Boomer watched some UFL football over the weekend and kind of liked it.  Hour 3 Boomer thinks the Knicks ran out of gas last night against the Thunder. We also talked about the Rangers and Boomer thinks they're giving up too many goals even though they're winning. A caller talks about people backing into parking spots at the garage at UBS arena. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Yankees and the great catch by Verdugo to end yesterday's game. What did Sterling's ‘Soto Photo' call even mean? Jon Berti also made a great force play at third. The Knicks lost to the Thunder last night. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer said they are building a cricket field and stadium on Long Island for World Cup matches. Boomer said it's a very difficult ticket to get.  Hour 4 Boomer is looking over the cricket schedule for next year on Long Island. Gio said it's going to be a traffic nightmare when the World Cup is there. Boomer said the Mets are just off to a bad start and it doesn't mean they are going to be bad all season. Boomer liked Jeff McNeil vs Rhys Hoskins. Gio said there was nothing to like about it. Boomer didn't like the slide and many callers think Boomer is wrong. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the Yankees sweeping the Astros and the great debut of Juan Soto in a Yankee uniform. The Knicks lost to the Thunder last night. LSU head coach Kim Mulkey pulled a Mike Gundy. She doesn't want the press going at the players. They were called, ‘dirty debutantes'. The Moment of The Day involves Evan Roberts calling Spike a ‘dildo head'. In the final segment of the show, Boomer wonders if Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will ‘Evan & Spike' it or fight for real.

Stugotz said he should have been working at WFAN many years ago because he's so passionate about the station. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with Brandon Nimmo reacting to Steve Cohen's comments before the game. Tommy Lugauer was screaming on the afternoon show, saying he would root for aliens over the Yankees. We played all of the ‘Jazz Chisolm' cuts for Stugotz. In the final segment of the show, the Jets play the Browns tonight in the Hall of Fame Game and we will be watching to see what Zach Wilson looks like.

Hour 1: Stugotz from the Dan Le Batard Show is in for Boomer today so it's Gio & Stugotz this morning. Gio told a story about Chris Russo and ‘the family', a group of guys at WFAN who would bet on games with Russo. Gio was only making $31K at the time and lost $1100 and 6 months later Russo came looking for it. C-Lo is in for Jerry and starts with audio from Steve Cohen talking about his conversation with Max Scherzer and not going all in on free agents next season. Gio does not like that Cohen is not going to do everything they can to win next year and it reminds him of the Wilpons. It sounds like the Mets are not going to make a legitimate offer for Ohtani. The Yankees beat the Rays last night behind a Giancarlo Stanton 3-run HR. Domingo German voluntarily entered an alcohol rehab program. The Jets play the Browns tonight in the Hall of Fame game and we'll see a lot of Zach Wilson. In the final segment of the hour, Stugotz talked about the dangers of NYC and having to dodge scooters and bicycles. And everyone is smoking weed everywhere.  Hour 2: Stugotz is excited to be on WFAN as he's been a huge fan of the station for many years. He was even excited to meet Eddie Scozarre. But he doesn't know who Dov is, which seems strange since he's been at WFAN since day one. Gio does not like that Steve Cohen said they will not be in on huge free agents. C-Lo returns for an update but first we talked about Jerry vacationing in Texas which is confusing to Gio. And McMonigle is going to Florida this month. C-Lo has audio from Cohen before the game. He didn't like the Mets' ‘crummy' odds to make the playoffs. He also said, ‘hope's not a strategy'. The Yankees beat the Rays 7-2 behind solid offense from Anthony Volpe and Giancarlo Stanton. Domingo German is entering an alcohol rehab problem and is done for the season. The Jets play the Browns tonight in an early pre-season game. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about being friends with someone and then that friend starts doing better in life and you don't hear back from them.  Hour 3: Giants GM Joe Schoen calls in. When he was working with the Dolphins he was a neighbor of Stugotz. He talked about his relationship with Saquon Barkley and how business isn't personal. He also talked about reasons why the RB position seems undervalued in the NFL. C-Lo returns for an update but first Stugotz said he liked betting better when it was illegal. We heard audio from Steve Cohen on what they accomplished dealing Scherzer and Verlander. Gio and C-Lo go at it over what Steve Cohen said or didn't say about next season. Aaron Boone was on Jomboy's ‘Talkin Yanks' podcast and was getting testy with the host about Aaron Judge getting days off. This week the boys start the show with talking about the Yankees winning streak. Don't hate us... They look to be the best team in the league. Is it for real? Home Runs are down so far.
