The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (01/07/2026): 3:05pm- Could the U.S. purchase Greenland from Denmark? Secretary of State Marco Rubio suggests it could be a possibility. But the New York Times argues that purchasing the territory isn't necessary, as a Cold War agreement grants the United States “sweeping military access in Greenland.” 3:20pm- According to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security, a woman was shot and killed by immigration agents in Minnesota after attempting to run over ICE agents. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey accused ICE of “causing chaos and distrust” and stated: “To ICE, get the f*ck out of Minneapolis.” 3:40pm- In a post to Truth Social, President Donald Trump wrote: “I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a horrible thing to watch. The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self-defense.” 4:00pm- Christine Hanlon—Chair of the New Jersey Republican Party—joins The Rich Zeoli Show. Hanlon was elected on Monday night and details how she plans to bounce back from the GOP's disappointing election cycle last November. 4:30pm- Pete Earle—Director of Economics at the American Institute for Economic—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss the economic impact of Venezuelan authoritarian Nicolas Maduro's removal from power. Plus, New York City's new Tenant Director Cea Weaver says that “people like home ownership because they like control—which is rooted in a racist and classist society.” Mayor Zohran Mamdani's term is off to an interesting start… 4:50pm- Rich goes to the shooting range! 5:00pm- On Wednesday, the Trump administration released its updated U.S. dietary guidelines. Every five years the Agriculture and Health and Human Services departments release updated recommendations. While speaking to the press, Sec. Robert Kennedy Jr. declared a “war on sugar” and implored Americans to “eat real food.” 5:20pm- Rich plays a video of his time at the shooting range—and it's impressive. Even YouTube commenters BogsChips and CornPopsRevenge agree! 5:30pm- Rich's BIG announcement: Beginning next week, The Rich Zeoli Show will take on a new form! The show will become a one-hour, nationally focused podcast which can be heard locally on 1210 WPHT from 6pm to 7pm! 5:40pm- Linda Kerns—Attorney & Pennsylvania Election Integrity Counsel for the Republican National Committee and Donald Trump—joins The Rich Zeoli Show! She discusses filling in for Zeoli over the show's holiday break, Elvis Pressley's birthday, and her continued fight to eliminate voter fraud. 6:05pm- According to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security, a woman was shot and killed by immigration agents in Minnesota after attempting to run over ICE agents. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey accused ICE of “causing chaos and distrust” and stated: “To ICE, get the f*ck out of Minneapolis.” 6:10pm- On Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee heard testimony from Minnesota state officials regarding the billions-of-dollars lost to welfare fraud. During one exchange, it was revealed that in March 2021 the Minnesota Department of Education suspended payments to the Feeding Our Future program over fears of fraud. Though the payments quickly resumed after state officials were baselessly accused of halting payments due to “racial discrimination.” 6:30pm- Department of Homeland Sec. Kristi Noem held a press conference—providing the latest details about a woman who was shot and killed by immigration agents in Minnesota after she appeared to attempt to run over ICE agents.

Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, Bryan explains why Minnesota's governor is openly escalating toward a constitutional crisis, how a deadly ICE confrontation is being weaponized politically, and why Democrats may be preparing nationwide unrest to distract from a massive fraud reckoning. He then covers major White House moves on housing, defense contractors, Venezuela, China, Russia, and Greenland, showing how Trump's strategy is reshaping global power. Tim Walz Declares a De Facto War on the Federal Government: Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced that his state is "in a state of war" with the federal government after an ICE officer shot and killed protester Renee Good during an immigration raid in Minneapolis. Video shows Good used her vehicle as a weapon against the officer, who fired in self-defense after being struck. Walz ordered the National Guard to prepare for deployment and called on activists nationwide to rise up, prompting warnings that his rhetoric may meet the legal definition of insurrection. A Manufactured Crisis and the Somali Fraud Reckoning: Bryan explains why the timing of Walz's escalation matters. Attorney General Pam Bondi just surged federal investigators into Minnesota to probe billion-dollar Somali fraud rings tied to Medicaid, daycare centers, and migrant nonprofits, many of which donated to Democratic campaigns. Federal funds to Minnesota and other blue states have been frozen or cut, and the White House is preparing a nationwide fraud announcement. Bryan warns that the death of an activist is being exploited to distract from what could become one of the largest corruption scandals in U.S. history. White House Targets Defense Contractors and Housing Costs: President Trump issued an executive order blocking major defense contractors from paying dividends or buying back stock until weapons production accelerates. CEO compensation is capped at five million dollars annually. Trump also moved to ban large institutional investors from buying additional single-family homes, arguing corporate buyers are pricing Americans out of the housing market. Senate Republicans are already drafting legislation to codify the policy. Trump Confronts Socialist Housing Policy in New York City: The Justice Department is reviewing whether New York City's new socialist mayor and his housing director violated anti-discrimination laws. The housing director has publicly called homeownership a tool of white supremacy and advocated seizing private property, with the mayor openly endorsing her views. DOJ officials say racial targeting in housing policy is unlawful and will be challenged. Global Shockwaves from Venezuela and the Ghost Fleet: Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed a three-phase U.S. plan for Venezuela, beginning with stability under remnants of the Maduro regime, followed by economic recovery and eventual democratic transition. The United States will act as Venezuela's sole oil dealer while seizing ghost-fleet tankers moving Iranian and Russian oil. Trump authorized U.S. forces to seize ships even after they reflagged as Russian, directly squeezing Moscow's war finances and Beijing's energy supply. Greenland and Europe's Energy Reality Check: Denmark warned it would use lethal force if U.S. troops attempt to seize Greenland, even as Chinese submarines map Arctic waters near U.S. defenses. Bryan contrasts Europe's military posturing with its fragile energy reality, as winter cold, snow-covered solar panels, and weak wind output drive electricity shortages and price spikes across Germany and Northern Europe "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32     Keywords: January 8 2026 Wright Report, Tim Walz ICE shooting Minneapolis, Renee Good protest death, Minnesota National Guard insurrection rhetoric, Somali fraud Medicaid daycare nonprofits, Pam Bondi investigation surge, defense contractor dividend ban Trump, institutional investors single family homes, Zohran Mamdani housing discrimination DOJ, Venezuela stability first strategy Rubio, ghost fleet tanker seizures Russia Iran, Greenland Denmark threat U.S. troops, China Arctic submarine mapping, Europe winter energy crisis

On April 13, 1788, outrage erupted in New York City when word spread that students from the local medical school were stealing corpses from nearby graveyards, at the direction of their instructors, for classroom dissection and study. A large mob attacked an anatomy lab and then set out in search of the students and doctors believed to be responsible for defiling the bodies of their loved ones. City leaders John Jay and Alexander Hamilton were among those who tried (and failed) to calm the crowd. The unrest ultimately led to a violent confrontation between civilians and the local militia, resulting in serious injuries and loss of life. My guest is Andy McPhee, author of the new book Doctors' Riot of 1788: Body Snatching, Bloodletting, and Anatomy in America (out June 6). We discuss the riot itself, the history of body snatching, and the moral question at its core: could stealing bodies for medical training be justified in the name of public health? From carefully timed leaks and legacy character returns to the stories and creators who never quite got their final chapter, this episode connects Marvel's current strategy to the people and moments that shaped it. Long before labor begins, the stories we hear about birth are already shaping our expectations and choices. In this episode, Dr. Rebecca Dekker talks with Lisa Greaves Taylor, founder of Birth Matters NYC Childbirth Education, director of the East River Doula Collective, and host of the Birth Matters podcast, about the power of birth stories as tools for education, healing, and self-advocacy.   Drawing from her work supporting families in New York City since 2010, Lisa shares how storytelling helps birthing people move beyond fear-based narratives and reconnect with their intuition, confidence, and voice. Together, Rebecca and Lisa explore the realities of giving birth in NYC—including high rates of induction, limited access to midwifery and birth centers, and postpartum support gaps—while also highlighting reasons for hope, advocacy, and change. They also talk about how birth stories can support preparation during pregnancy, help process trauma after difficult births, and empower families navigating VBAC, repeat pregnancies, and systemic barriers to evidence-based care.   (02:51) What drew Lisa to childbirth education and doula work (07:45) Giving birth in NYC then vs. now (09:07) The evidence-practice gap in New York City maternity care (15:02) Postpartum care challenges and lactation support gaps (18:05) The role of midwives in improving birth experiences (23:47) How storytelling activates intuition and self-advocacy (28:15) When birth stories can be harmful and how to curate wisely (35:34) Trauma, dissociation, and the importance of processing birth (42:18) What gives Lisa hope for the future of birth work (46:28) Stories, Education, and Support   Resources Learn more about Lisa Birth Matters NYC: birthmattersnyc.com Birth Matters Podcast: birthmattersnyc.com/podcast East River Doula Collective: eastriverdoulas.nyc Instagram: @birthmattersnyc Ina May's Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin: share.libbyapp.com/title/5017296 The Story Factor by Annette Simmons: annettesimmons.com/the-story-factor/ The Evidence on: Induction or Cesarean for a Big Baby EBB 311 – Creating a Community-Led Birth Center in New York City with Myla Flores of the Womb Bus   Organizations & Advocates Mentioned Ancient Song Doula Services: ancientsongdoulaservices.com Chanel Porchia-Albert: chanelporchia.com Jennie Joseph: jenniejoseph.com Kimberly Seals Allers: kimberlysealsallers.com Michelle Browder: ebbirth.com/274 For more information about Evidence Based Birth® and a crash course on evidence based care, visit www.ebbirth.com. On a sunny fall day in 1841, New York City officials boarded a ship in search of a crate. Crew members found it buried deep in the cargo hold. The odor coming from within it was unbearable.Inside, they discovered the decomposing body of half-naked man, covered in salt. Authorities identified the body as Samuel Adams (No, not that Samuel Adams.) Who could have done such a thing? There was no need to ponder that question. Authorities had already arrested their prime suspect, John Caldwell Colt. John was an author and expert on bookkeeping. He was also the older brother of Samuel Colt, the inventor of the Colt Revolver. In this episode, Normie C hits us with all the context we'll need to understand this gruesome murder and the bizarre trial that followed. Remember, kids, history hoes always cite their sources! For this episode, Norm pulled from: Dunphy, Thomas. Remarkable Trials of All Countries. Diossy & Company, 1870.Edwards, William. The Story of Colt's Revolver. Stackpole Co, 1953.Phelps, M. The crew dives into the Roosevelt Room record convention at (13:10), where Pete Rock, Large Pro, Q Tip, Capri and others found the records that shaped classic hip hop, with Goldfinger adding his perspective at (23:45). They break down the core of the New York sound at (15:10), covering O.C.'s “Times Up” and the four to eight bar sample loop that defined 1994 and NYC. Buckwild speaks on digging for fresh textures at (25:01), the origins of Digging In The Crates, and how he used the “Seed of Love” sample before Just Blaze flipped it for Jay Z on “Public Service Announcement,” then explains how he met O.C. at (19:50). He runs through his top five productions at (39:00), breaks down why he insists on being in the studio during recording sessions at (22:01), and gets into the realities of clearing samples. The Biggie stories land at the center of the episode at (26:14). The conversation shifts into whether 2025 is a strong year for hip hop but a tough one for clubs at (32:51), why one-liners and real bars feel missing, and when the culture changed at (41:11) as labels downsized and the SoundCloud era took over. Buckwild reflects on chasing hits at (57:10), the story behind “Whoa!,” the beats Jay Z passed on, and what it meant to miss those records erupting in the club. The episode closes with thoughts on Saigon's album at (1:00:51) and why a DITC compilation would be difficult to assemble at (1:11:01).
