Catt Z spent her entire career as a software designer, until she became an artist at age 60. She dove into a process of intentional creativity with paint. Then, she decided to take that process to the small pages of a standard composition book. And her world got rocked. She uncovered and developed the process of Cosmic Smashbooking which is a mashup of journaling, art journaling, smashbooking, painting, collage, stamping – any medium really -combined with intentional creativity, connecting with your intuition, prayer, and healing. It’s an amazing process, one I’ve been playing with since the beginning of 2020. And more than anything, it’s FUN.In our episode, we talked about:how Catt developed cosmic smashbookingwhat a smashbook page ishow your muse shows up to guide your workhow to differentiate your creative muse from the voice of your inner critichow smashbooking is a healing, meditative process but more whimsical and fun than some other techniquesif you’re a writer, Catt shared a technique for using the books for character developmentOne of my favorite quotes from the interview is when Catt said, “Smashbooking is NOT about being an artist…it’s about being creative. And yes, there is a difference.” Smashbooking has nothing to do with creating pretty art or rendering realistic drawings. And for those of you who would like to explore visual arts without the pressure of doing it “right” – this is a GREAT way to do it.Connect with Catt ZCatt Z is an artist, a visionary, and founder of Cosmic Smashbooking. She helps students access their intuition through the Cosmic Smashbook Process, using a combination of intentional creativity and art journaling. There are no rules.Catt was in the computer industry for fifty years as a software designer and decided it was time to break out of the box. So she became an Artist at 60 and her life hasn’t been the same since. She’s a wild woman, pioneer, gypsy, lover of dogs, traveling, and starting over. She loves stepping into dangerous territory and bringing others with her on the journey.Catt brings the fun, wisdom, magic, adventure, and courage to assist others in healing enough so they may go out and heal others. If you’d like to connect with Catt, you can find her at:Sign up for her free six week introductory course, Kick it to the CurbCatt’s WebsiteCatt on Instagram – or follow the hashtag #cosmicsmashbooking to see some amazing workJoin Catt’s Smashbook group on FacebookLike the Podcast? Are you a subscriber? Focusing on the product and making sure the time we're spending on creating is worthwhile and useful is a HUGE creative block for some. It's a block I've personally had to work through and one that still will occasionally rear its blocky head in my own and my client and students' creative heads. So, let's breakthrough this block once and for all, put the creative process OVER product, and create for the pure joy, play, and fun of it!Links Mentioned in the ShowWhat the hell is a table runner for? blog postLike the Podcast? Are you a subscriber? Asking good questions, the right kind of questions can open us up, drive creative growth, and even get us in touch with our deepest vulnerabilities.Asking a question means that we don’t know all the answers which can be scary as one question could lead to more questions or to failure…but that just gets us to the next fun question. In our episode, we talked about:What kinds of questions to ask to drive your creativityHow failure is not a bad thing (even though many of bright high-achieving women have learned that it is)the imposter syndrome that Brandolyn experienced when she left ten years in the lab and headed into the world of education to revamp science in schools and make it FUN – yes, even a brilliant woman with a PhD deals with the fun stuff like imposter syndrome! One of my favorite quotes was when Brandolyn talked about how as women, “we have to train our brains to be comfortable with not knowing the answers.” This discomfort can be scary and, well, uncomfortable, but this is also where we have the opportunity to explore, to ponder, and to create something new. What will you create?Connect with Dr. Brandolyn ThranDr. Brandolyn Thran has a passion for life science, education, and God. There are hundreds of different essential oils and when combined together, an infinite number of blends you could make with them which makes the whole field a bit overwhelming. Emma did a great job of explaining:how essential oils work on the body and mindhow to use essential oils safelyhow to decide which oils to use to help with your creativitywhy less is more when it comes to essential oilsand how to mix EO’s effectively to create a synergistic blend for yourselfOne great tip Emma shared is to start with what you love and how you want to feel. Think of EO’s as little doses of energy, so before doing creative practice – ask, “How am I feeling today on a scale of 1-10? And how do I want to feel to get the best out of my time to work creatively?”Then, choose 2-3 different scents and smell them directly from the bottle. Use the one that smells the strongest and that you love at that moment.Resources to get Essential Oils and Books to Learn More:Books:The Art of Aromatherapy by Robert B. I actually have three different sets of Creative Idea Partnerships, which are sometimes called thinking partners or thought partnerships. One is a BIG IDEA Sistermind where I work with two brilliant HIGHLY educated women exploring big ideas. We also have some of the same struggles in overcoming all fun things that women tend to face like imposter syndrome, perfectionism, fear of failure, letting go of knowing the outcome – ALL the creative blocks.I also have monthly sessions with a Creative Idea Partner in the business world where we brainstorm and clarify ideas for the next step in our businesses. And finally, I have a writing partner, where we trade pages and chapters, give one another feedback, brainstorming help, and the occasional kick in the ass to actually write pages. This whole idea is all about the power of the collective, expanding your OWN brainpower by using the brainpower of other brilliant creative minds in your circle. To set up effective idea and though partnerships, it’s super important to be intentional. So listen in for some tips and ideas on setting up your own creative idea and thinking partnerships in order to help you get your ideas out of your head and wild heart and into the world. In this solo episode, I discuss:Setting your Intention for your Creative Idea Partnership – think about what you want to create and how you want to create itWho you want to work with and how you choose themHow to structure your sessionsAnd what to do after your session is doneLinks Mentioned in the ShowEpisode #25 with Janet Conner about deep soul writing and connecting to our creativity and inner wisdom on the [pageEpisode #24 about the spiral of the creative process and how we’re not focused on the outcome but open to whatever might comeSteal Like an Artist by Austin KleonGillian Archer – my writer partner who write super hot romance novels!Jamie Metz – my big idea partner’s videos that are planned for an Amazon Prime film! Oh, I could fill this whole page with incredible quotes from our conversation but here's one that captures it beautifully:"There are parts of me and parts of you and parts of all of us that are hungry for connection with the source of wisdom within whether it comes through prayer, meditation, deep soul writing, swimming laps, going for long walks in nature. There are so many ways to get out of your conscious mind and connect with the voice of wisdom within. And knw know that."Janet Conner We have all of our answers. In this episode, I talk about each of these steps and the dance we do as we bring our ideas into the world.During the Corona Virus pandemic, I’ve been relying deeply on my journaling and creative practices to help sustain me, so I’ve been thinking about my own creative practice and process. I’ve also been playing with combining journaling with paint and memorabilia in a mixed media format that I haven’t ever played with but it’s transformative and super fun. This has also made me think deeply about my own creative process.Whether it’s a book, a collage, a painting, a poem, a sculpture, whatever, how do we do it? What’s the process? Is there a single process that we can maybe follow to make it easier or does it look different for each of us? How, exactly, do we go from random idea in our head to creating or doing the thing? And how do we trust that we’re doing it “right?” Or is there even a “right” process? That’s what this episode is all about, the spiral of creation.Interestingly, after recording, editing and uploading this episode, I discovered all kinds of charts, posters, and information on line on The CREATIVE PROCESS. But I’m super glad I didn’t research this episode AT ALL other than to dive into my own process.Relying solely on my own experience was an incredibly valuable exercise. What’s interesting is that many of the official creative process steps have “research” in there, and while I’ll be going back and probably doing another episode on this topic and including some alternate perspectives, remember that relying on your own thoughts/ideas IS a super valuable and important part creating. Figure out what YOU think first before you begin to expand with other people's ideas. Your opinion and ideas are necessary.Keep creating. We need you!In this solo episode, I discuss:The main steps in my own creative process: inspiration/ideas, filling the well, rest/compost, exploring/playing, connecting, trusting, taking actionWhy it’s crucial to think about this is a spiral rather than a linear processHow focusing on your creative process rather than the final product can help get you into your creative zone and a happier placeLinks Mentioned in the ShowEpisode #17 with Deborah Fryer about how we are always creatingEpisode #15 with Jackie Johnstone about Human Design – she talks about the idea shelf, a great idea for the composting/resting stage of the processEpisode #2 – taking yourself on an Artist’s Date or creative play date to fill your creative wellLike the Podcast? Are you a subscriber? For those of us who like our routines, all the changes and fear can be incredibly disruptive and stressful, especially if we’ve set up creative conditions for ourselves. Basically, that means we have a set of conditions that we like to have in place when we do our creative work. So often, we think that we need things to be a certain WAY before we can create. And, with all of the worry in the way, it can be extra hard to get to a space where we can create, even though that space can be the most healing space of all for us. All the worry means it's EXTRA important that we do step out of the fear, dive into our creative practice, and rely on that to get through these times.Keep creating. We need you!In this solo episode, I discuss:one way to step OUT of the worry that I discovered during an incredibly difficult time when my beloved husband was in the hospital for three monthscreating ANYWAY, even during this trying timehow focusing on your creative process rather than the final product can help get you into your creative zone and a happier placeLinks Mentioned in the ShowWhile I was recording this podcast, a happy moment of serendipity occurred. In our conversation, Deborah and I dove deep into embracing your creative mindset. Basically, if you're alive, you're a creative being. And as Deborah said, "You can't NOT create" because creativity starts with our thoughts. And we ALL think. The problem with creating what we actually want happens when we get all up in our heads and self-sabotage our creative efforts. But self-sabotage looks different for everyone. In this episode, we discussed:why we are all creative beingshow deadlines can help us build the energy we need to createsome strategies for slowing ourselves and becoming aware of when we’re going into self-sabotageDeborah's own creative process - whether that's making a film or writing a bookConnect with DeborahIf you’d like to connect with Deborah, you can find her at:DeborahFryer.comOn FacebookLike the Podcast? Are you a subscriber? I started hearing of Human Design sometime in the summer of 2019. I was curious and looked it up but found it confusing and difficult to understand how it could apply in a useful way in my daily life. Then, a friend shared that learning about their human design from this week’s guest had a significant impact on the ease and joy with which they approached their creative projects, whether that was their latest book or their business. So, I connected with Jackie Johnstone, Human Design pro, and we dove in. Before you listen to this episode, go ahead and grab your chart at Jovianarchive.com or Mybodygraph.com.You’ll need to know your place and TIME of birth, so you might have to grab your birth certificate before you head on over to one of the sites. When you get your chart, it’s more than a little intimidating, but Jackie does a great job breaking down some of the most important elements, like your type and the best way to approach decision making for each type.In episode, Jackie and I discuss:A basic overview of the five types of human designHow your human design can help you make decisions that feel perfectly right for youThe best analogy ever of how we, as humans, make decisions intuitively and NOT from our mind and how those decisions can be much easier for us to follow through on and “go” with if we make them according to our designHow responding and diving into creating according to our design can have a dramatic (and positive) impact on our effortsResources & Links Mentioned in the ShowGetting to Know You by Karen Flaherty – a good intro book with lots of real world examplesUnderstanding Human Design by Karen Curry Park – A little more technical@jes.fields on Instagram@iampaigemichelle on InstagramConnect with Jackie JohnstoneJackieJohnstone.comFollow Jackie on Instagram – her fav place onlineLike the Podcast? Are you a subscriber? This presentation was called The Truth about Work/Life Balance and was taught by Kim Williams from Single Black Motherhood. Kim Williams is a blogger, podcaster, and mom of one amazing six old girl named McKinley Grace. She is a Mississippi native, currently living in Houston, Texas. In her spare time, Kim enjoys reading self-help books, sharing what she learns, and traveling. A year after relocating to Houston, Kim found herself without the support system she thought she had so she started her platform to build a community and share her journey. Little did she know, it would grow into so much more. Kim is very passionate about educating single moms so that they can live the life they desire without feeling alone on the journey of Single Motherhood, which can become so isolating. This week my friend Brittney Stefanic joined me to talk all about sleep, that sometimes elusive, always wonderful, thing we do each and every night. I’ve known Brittney since we worked together teaching at the local high school, and we both have since left and followed our entrepreneurial dreams. Brittney’s dream began after her son was born and she discovered that her beloved new little baby was having a massive (and not so welcome) impact on her sleep...until she discovered that she could teach her new little guy to sleep. Shortly thereafter, she became a certified sleep consultant and has since launched the Sleeper Teachers Agency, where she and her team educate and support families around the world in finding sleep solutions. In this episode, Brittney and I talk about:Your sleep hygiene (yep, that’s a thing)How bedtime screen time can impact your sleep (and not in a good way)How to set yourself up so you can stay asleep ALL night longWhy sleeping enough is key to your creative brain powerThe alarming physical impacts of a chronic sleep debtA few tips for setting up a sleep sanctuaryAnd...a fun example of how REM sleep can amp up our creativity and problem solving in our waking lifeLinks Mentioned in the Showsleeperteachers.com Like the Podcast? Are you a subscriber? Today's episode is a conversation with Veronica Cisneros. Veronica Cisneros is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, motivational speaker, and queen hostess of transformational women’s retreats. Through these retreats, Veronica helps women answer the question: “how did I lose me?” She lovingly calls out insecurities and doubts and teaches women to challenge them for what they are, a mythical assault to their true femininity. When it comes to stepping outside of your comfort zone, Veronica is your best bet. Yet, she ensures that, by stepping out, women are able to experience true transformational change; uncovering the inner goddess and, let’s be honest, bad ass, they’ve always been. Veronica helps women truly become empowered and unapologetic’ through unique challenges and personalized coaching. It comes as no surprise, then, that Veronica is also CEO (a.k.a queen hustler) of Empowered and Unapologetic; a hardcore ‘girl gang’ of women aggressively supporting each other on Facebook. Her focus is to continue to expand this community, filled with authentic women who know their worth and who are unapologetic about putting themselves first. Veronica’s true aspiration is to help multitudes of women learn how to let go of perfectionism and, instead, face their emotional wounds and insecurities. Our creativity can get blocked when we're in that vicious cycle of guilt because we don't feel we're "caught up enough" to be entitled to "enjoy." How do we begin to do the thing we’re called to do when it can feel really scary and big and hard? The answer is to do it with intention and plan it.I'm talking today about a super fun tool to feed your creativity - I call them creative play dates, but they’re also known as artists dates. The creative play date is the planting of the seed AND the sowing of the soil. It gives us the ideas that we can play with in our creative work AND it gives us the courage and space to actually do the work.We need both - the ideas and the courage, right? In this episode I’m sharing:Why plan and take yourself on a creative play dateIdeas for your own creative play datesSome of my own creative play datesHead to https://amyisaman.com/podcast/episode2/ to see the images I took of my studio visitLike the Podcast? Are you a subscriber? What Kinds of Podcast Are the Most Popular – Part Two The One on One Interview The One on One Interview: This is the most common form of podcasting. If you can book an interview with a very well known person who can give tremendous value to your particular niche audience – you can grow tremendously! There are a lot of podcasters who use this particular format. But, you must be a good interviewer! There are many podcasts out there where the host is not a good interviewer, and it shows. I use an interview format on my podcast, “The Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast.” I usually take at least as much time to prepare for the podcast as the length of the podcast – and usually longer! What do I mean by that? If the interview is 45 minutes in length, I usually take an hour to 90 minutes in preparation! I have an interview form that is part of the scheduling process. This form has all the basic contact information, of course. It also asks for the main topic of the interview the other person wants to discuss. The reason for that, they may be the owner or manager of a huge non-profit that is doing tremendous work. But the person wants to talk about a new book he has just published! So that is what I need to focus on during the interview! I will, of course, discuss the non-profit and ask a couple of questions along those lines. But it is just to establish background for the authority of the interviewee. THEN, I jump into the questions about the book. In doing my preparation, I will take the information they provide, including the website, and start there. The best place to look, for me anyway, is the ABOUT ME page! I look for some interesting fact that is on the page that has almost nothing to do with the book, the business or anything else. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do not spend a lot of time on that one question. But I will insert somewhere during the interview! It may be something like, “One question I have for you, did you really get lost for two days in the jungle while in the Amazon rain forest?” I usually get a chuckle and a comment like, “Yeah! That was an awesome time!” or something like that…and then they explain what happened! After the interview, I’ve almost always been complimented by my guests about the quality of my questions and my interview skills. Some are icons in their areas of influence! They will tell me that it has been a long time since they had someone interview them that had actually taken the time to learn about THEM! This is how I know I am following my passion for these podcasts. I spend the time to adequately prepare for each guest individually. If I do not have the time to adequately prepare, I will try to reschedule the interview so as not to waste my guests time (which would probably cause them never to come back on again in the future). You can do this as well. But you must MAKE THE TIME to adequately prepare! Next time, I will be discussing the Solo Commentary Podcast! If you find these videos helpful, please give us a rating and a comment below. It helps others to find this information as well. Thank you in advance for helping us to get the word out! Over the course of these videos and articles, I want to answer any questions you may have concerning podcasting. You can leave your questions in the comments section below. But a better way of communicating with me and making sure I am able to see your questions rapidly is by using the contact form on my website. Go to https://podcast-training.com/contact (https://podcast-training.com/contact) and click on the contact tab. Fill out the form and be sure to send me your questions. Podcast: Are you about to quit Forex Trading? In this weekly video:00:26 – Frustrated trader on live webinar01:06 – Less in more01:50 – No one perfect way of trading02:24 – Look at your charts twice a day03:31 – Buy and Sell Limit orders04:20 – Be part of a trading community05:10 – 3 trades made a +1.5% account gainAre you about to give up Forex Trading that's just not working for you? If that's you, I've got some really important information for you to listen to first before making that decision. Here we go.Hey traders, Andrew Mitchem here, the Forex Trading coach of video and podcast number 290.Now, I wanna share with you a story from my live webinar with my clients just last night. Now in that webinar, I had a new client on his first live session with us as the group, and he said to me,Frustrated trader on live webinar"Hey, Andrew, I've been trading for eight years, on and off. It's just not working for me. I've joined your course as basically the last ditch effort to make trading work. What's the secret? Can you ask people on the webinar, other clients, what's the secret to making this whole thing work? Why are they successful and I'm not?"It was really interesting to watch the comments come through from a number of my clients, and a number of them have been with me for many years.Less in moreThere were a range of comments come through, but basically it came down to the less-is-more philosophy, the trade to longer timeframe charts, the be selective with your trading as in don't take B grade setups. Only take the top quality setups. Get to understand the patterns that you're looking for. So, we looked for, basically, two quite distinctive patterns. One's a reversal, one's a continuation. Basically, if you get most of the setup looking exactly as you want, it doesn't matter what the pay or what the timeframe, what the direction is, but if you get that, so often the trades will work out. And why? It's because of probability. No one perfect way of tradingNow, there is no one perfect way of trading, and different people have different ways of trading, obviously, and that's why the strategy that I use basically combines different bits and pieces of different strategies to get one overall proven strategy that works. Along with that strategy and the patterns that you're looking for, it was about taking those longer timeframe charts. Personally, I wouldn't look at anything less than one hour timeframes. Be selective. Don't worry if you miss trades. You're gonna miss trades. You don't have to be at your computer all the time.Look at your charts twice a dayA really interesting comment came out from a client that's been with me for about three years. His advice was just to look twice a day and that's it. You've gotta carry on with normal things in life, whether it be family, entertainment, recreation, job, whatever it might be. But, it has to be realistic in terms of the time that you can dedicate to your trading. He was saying, "I just look twice a day and that's it."He looks around 5:00 am New York time, and 5:00 pm New York time. Now, at 5:00 pm New York time, which is the beginning of the new trading day, at the beginning of the week you can look at the weekly charts. Beginning of each day you can look at the daily charts, and also, you can look at the 12 hour, the 8 hour, the 6 hour, the 4 hour, and the 1 hour charts. Put that all together once a day at 5:00 pm New York time. It might take you maybe 20 minutes, 15, 20 minutes to go through all those charts. Very, very easy to scan through and select which trades you'd like to take. And then, at 5:00 am New York time, which is when I hold my live webinars, you can then look at the 1, 4, 6 and 12 charts. That's it.

023 | Steve Olsher asks How Safe Is Your Business? Steve is the New York Times bestselling author of What Is Your WHAT? Discover The ONE Amazing Thing You Were Born To Do, and the host of the #1 rated radio show/podcast Reinvention Radio, and I’m SO excited to have him on today’s show. Can you imagine being removed from your own company, when you were just 20 years old? This is exactly what happened to Steve Olsher, our guest on Success Unfiltered. Steve shared with us that he had the idea for his very first business at the age of 19. He had been DJ’ing at clubs in his area, had curated a pretty big following and decided that he’d open a club that provided amazing dance music and was alcohol-free (since he was underage). He created his business plan, found investors, and hired a manager to manage the club. What he hadn’t anticipated was that the manager and the investor would be in cahoots and had a different vision for the club. In the end, because their visions didn’t align, Steve had to just walk away. He had no way of fighting them. Steve learned a VERY important lesson here; you need to put protective mechanisms in place so that something like this doesn’t happen. However, he admits to still not having implemented it, many years later. Steve shares a few other stories where he clearly had not protected himself or his business. Steve is hoping that by sharing his information, he can keep others from making the same mistakes he did. Steve gets raw and vulnerable in this episode and shares some incredible lessons learned. You DO NOT want to miss this episode! Enjoy, thank you for listening and tuning into Success Unfiltered! Here are a few key secrets we talked about in this episode: Michelle introduces Steve Olsher. Michelle shares how she read his book in March, after closing her last company, and how it helped her discover what she was passionate about. Steve tells the very intriguing story of being kicked out of his own (first) company. Steve was not surprised when it came time for him to part ways with the investor and manager. Steve shares how he founded liquor.com back in 1998. When he decided to take liquor.com public, he quickly learned “There was no pot of gold there at the end of the rainbow.” Steve’s next adventure was into real estate. Since he got into it before it went bust he made a considerable amount of money. This also led him to discover that everything he was doing, was just for the money. He decided he needed something that put fire in his soul. Steve shares his story of losing much of his real estate properties and how it led him into a very dark time. It was during this time that Steve sold a piece of property that wasn’t truly his to sell, based on the guidance of his counsel. It turned into lots of trouble for Steve, and he shares the whole story in this episode. Steve explains the YaNo concept from his book. Steve shares what he would tell his younger self. Don't aim to be comfortable You'll never be your best if you just want to be comfortable. Being comfortable can lead to complacency, laziness and mediocrity. If you're successful on 80% of the things you try, you're not stretching enough to find where you are best. You aren't growing if you're always successful. Questions from this week's Podcast: Are you in your Sweet Spot or your Comfort Zone? Should you leave a good paying job for one that serves a better cause? As Christians, we tithe on our personal incomes, but what about our business? I'm working 60-70 hours a week now. How do I start something on the side? How can I position myself as a gardening coach? “Our greatest fear should not be of failure … but of succeeding at things in life that don't really matter.” – Francis Chan Tweet This Show Notes: Episode – 05-05-17 Title: N/A Subtitle: N/A Summary: In this episode, Dan Miller walks us through a number of success stories from our members as he opens this week's theme: why you should not aim to be comfortable. Sometimes people forget that the reason they push forward is to achieve a goal—once they achieve that goal, the tendency is to stop and become complacent. In order to grow, one needs some resistance and change—it's about setting yourself up for continuous learning. Tune in as Dan encourages listeners to look for that sweet spot, as opposed to living in one's comfort zone. Sponsored By: FreshBooks is offering a 30 day, unrestricted free trial to my listeners. That sounds like you, listen up. I've got some great tips for you.Hi Forex Traders! Andrew Mitchem here and today is the Friday, the 17th of June. I want to talk about an issue that so many people have.I don’t have enough time to tradePeople come to me all the time and they say, "Hey Andrew, look. I really want to get into trading, but I'm just too busy. I'm just short on time. I don't have time to commit to trading. I don't have time to watch the charts all day, to read and understand the news. It's just too much going on in my life. I'd like to trade, but I'm just to busy, whether it's a work or family commitment. Whatever it might be. Just don't have the time."The solution is to trade the longer time frame chartsThere's a really really simple solution. It's just that most people don't know that that solution is there. The solution is this: the best way for you to trade with Forex market if you're short on time, is to trade the longer time frame charts. It's quite a simple solution, but most people just don't understand or think they can do that. The problem is that most people see the longer time frame charts as something they cannot trade because the stop-loss needs to be too big.The stop loss size does not matterThat's completely incorrect. It's actually irrelevant how big the stop-loss is, because it's all relative to the size of the profit target, and the size of the chart that you're trading. How to trade a Monthly chartI'll give you some examples. People have said to me, "I can't trade out a monthly chart trade because the stop-loss needs to be 200 pips, or 300 pips. Wherever it needs to be." What you need to do, is you need to treat that monthly chart trade, exactly the same as you would if you were trading a daily chart or a 4 hours chart. It's just that it has bigger stop-losses and bigger profit targets, but your risk on that trade, if that trade were to get stopped out, is still the same.Don’t worry about the number of pips you need as a stop lossRather than worrying about how many pips the stop-loss is, what you need to do is calculate your position size, your lot size that you take on that trade. Then if that trade were to hit the stop-loss, then you'd lose ‘x' percent of your account. Whether it's half a percent, or 1%, whatever it is that you risk on a trade.I'll give you some examples. Just this morning, I've woken up and I've had 3 trades.Trades hit profit with a 12.2% account gain with just a 1% account risk per trade2 on monthly charts, and 1 on a weekly chart that have all hit the proper target this morning, and made a tremendous amount of money and profit for myself, my account, and also for my clients. Those trades were … 1 was taken in March, and we're now June. Was taken on March on the monthly chart. It's just that the full-profit target this morning for 943 pips, and a 3.8:1 reward to risk. The second trade was taken in May, and again on the monthly chart it's only a month ago. That's made 650 pips, and a 4.2 reward to risk.
Official Website: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-Are you confused or want the real scoop on the Harley-Davidson Engine Idle Temperature Management System (EITMS). Want to know if your Harley is equipped with it? There is confusing and less than useful information out there, so we broke it down for you in this podcast episode. We wanted to break it down in a format that makes sense to law abiding bikers out there. We wrote a full article and did a complete Free tutorial video on the Harley EITMS for you, so check it out. •Turorial Video-Harley-Davidson Engine Idle Temperature Management System-EITMS Basics: EITMS can be used by any rider, but is specifically for those riders who frequently find themselves in riding conditions where the vehicle is subjected to prolonged idle conditions or traffic congestion, the motorcycle is equipped with an Engine Idle Temperature Management System (EITMS) to provide limited cooling of the rear cylinder. Explanation of EITMS in biker terms: When engine temperature reaches a predetermined point at idle, the EITMS will turn off the rear cylinder fuel injector. Idle speed will be maintained, however the rear cylinder will become an “air pump” which will work to cool the engine. The cylinder will suck in air to cool the engine. •Go to our complete article and free tutorial video to learn more about this subject ________________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE: Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548 Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/scrappy587 Google Plus Page: https://plus.google.com/b/104041070580228657262/+Lawabidingbiker587 Instagram: http://instagram.com/lawabidingbiker RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed iTunes Direct Link to Podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087 Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

I'm here in Washington D.C. at the headquarters of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, and I just moved to D.C. and joined the team here internally almost two years ago. But I've actually been with the NGLCC since really the very beginning. You know the organization just celebrated our tenth anniversary, and I was part of the earliest days when our co-founders created the NGLCC and came to one of the earliest conferences as a volunteer board member for a local chamber, Quorum, that you mentioned in the beginning. And you know I was quite taken with this whole concept of business equality as a movement and intentional inclusion of LGBT-owned businesses in the economy and the network of other LGBT chambers around the country. And also the corporate partners that were coming into the space to be part of this movement to leverage economic development opportunities specifically for people who are LGBT. I got really excited about the movement right away, I became a volunteer leader in the chamber council at that conference, and I served as the chair of the Midwest region and then after a few y...

She is our first guest starting off the 30 Days, 30 Voices: Stories from America's LGBT Business Leaders Podcast Project. You may remember Jen from an interview she did with us back in February, and because she had so much great wisdom to share then, I had to have her back here to kick off this special Pride Month series. So for those of you who do not know, Jen is the founder and CEO of Jennifer Brown Consulting which is New York City based consulting firm that is both a woman-owned business and an LGBT-certified business. She is a social entrepreneur committed to making an impact that creates healthier workplace cultures for all of the clients that she serves. Jen it is fabulous to have you back on the show, how are you? Jennifer Brown (Consulting): I'm great Jenn, thanks for having me. Jenn T. Grace: It's fabulous to have you back and as I mentioned already, I gave the listeners a really little bit of an overview of who you are but why don't you just tell us a little bit more about yourself and what your path looked like that led you to where you are today. Jennifer Brown: Great, absolutely. I'd love to share. It's been a wonderful journey and I'm really excited about what we've accomplished and really where we're going. So I have had my company for about six years now, Jennifer Brown Consulting, or as we refer to it as JBC. And my background was a combination of non-profit management, I've always been pretty much of an activist if you can say, or an advocate for social change. And so I got my start in work like that and then at the same time I've always been an artist and performing artist and a vocalist. So I had two Masters degrees, one of which is in opera. And so in my twenties it was a combination of doing non-profit work, programming work for organizations that I believed in, and also singing and following the path of an artist. And that's actually led me to New York which is where I ...
Podcast: Are you Trading the Right Pairs or Just the Ones Closer to Home? In This Video:00:28 Do you Trade Currencies based on Where you Are? 01:25 Let’s look at How I Pick my Pairs 02:31 Always Let the Charts Talk to YouIn today’s video I’m going to talk about which currency pairs I trade and the reasons why. So let’s get into that right now!Hi Forex Traders, it’s Andrew Mitchem here, the Forex Trading Coach and I’m on holiday in Paris. Sorry if I’m shouting but as you can tell there’s a lot of noise behind me. I’m actually at the Arc de Triomphe as you can see here – a magnificent part of Paris – absolutely love it over here.Do you Trade Currencies based on Where you Are? So let’s go into trading itself. Well, just because I am in Paris doesn’t mean to say I’ve been trading the Euro (EUR). It’s important to trade what you see on the charts, at the time. What’s looking strong, what’s looking weak? And so, I deliberately never get to worry about which pairs I am trading. In fact the only pair that I’ve traded this week on the daily charts, as I’ve been on holiday and I haven’t really traded as much as I should have, is the New Zealand Dollar/Canadian Dollar (NZD/CAD), on the daily charts, and that’s all I’ve traded. So you think about the New Zealand Dollar (NZD) and Canadian Dollar (CAD), not exactly the most prominent currency pair out there but that’s what I’ve taken. And, I’ve just looked on my charts on my mobile phone just a couple of minutes before I made this video and I’m up over 1.2% for that particular trade. So it just goes to show that you trade the pair that’s showing the best setup at the time and that’s regardless of the currency pair.Let’s look at How I Pick my Pairs Personally for me, I look through the daily charts each day, I look through the strengths and the weaknesses; the likely strong currencies; the likely weak currencies, and then you put those two pairs together. So, for instance, I was taking a buy trade on the New Zealand/Canadian Dollar (NZD/CAD), so I was looking for strength in the New Zealand and weakness in the Canadian Dollar (CAD) – I put the two together. The pair itself, actually, showed a really good, strong buy-trade setup so I took the trade. So, I’ve put part of the order in at the market and another part at the retracement at a retracement level that I use. So, as I was buying the pair, I was looking for the pair to move back lower first and get me in on the retracement order before then pulling away and moving up into the long position. In the end, the retracement order never filled but of course the market orders’ in straightaway and I made really good profit on that market order. So, regardless of the time frame you trade, to me it’s really important to trade the technical setup that’s showing, the best at the time – regardless of what that is; regardless of where you live!Always Let the Charts Talk to You You know, like I said, I’m from New Zealand so it doesn’t mean to say I’m always trading New Zealand Dollar (NZD). I’m in Europe this week; I was in America last week – doesn’t mean that I’m taking the U.S. Dollar (USD). So I hope that helps you take what’s showing the best technical trade at the time. Do that and you’ll give yourself a lot better chance at making some really good money from trading rather than, maybe, concentrating just on one pair – on, let’s say, the British Pound/U.S. Dollar (GBP/USD) – just because you think it’s a high volatility pair.It is but that doesn’t mean to say that all the time it’s showing the best setups! As an example, you might, let’s say, have strength in the British Pound (GBP) and also strength in the U.S. Dollar (USD) on the same day. Well, put those two together, what are you likely to see? Well, potentially,
