    Joseph Silvas, father of 5, sits down with Blair to discuss leaving the safety of a corporate job and striking out on his own to create a mortgage recruiting firm during the COVID-19 pandemic.Joseph began his career in commercial real estate, then followed a calling to become a Methodist Pastor. While those dreams didn't work out, fate intervenes and during pastoral training he meets Blair Lewis, whom he would later joined to help launch Global Recruiters of Mid-Cities.After helping the successful launch of Global Recruiters of Mid-Cities, Joseph goes through an excruciating divorce, experiences starts and stops in the recruiting industry and eventually builds a loyal enough following to allow him to strike out on his own and become his own boss.
