After building Sacred Rides into one of the top mountain bike adventure companies in the world, Mike Brcic exited the business he had spent 23 years creating. The celebration did not last long. In this episode, Mike shares that the emotional high from the signed purchase agreement and wire transfer lasted about eight hours before the deeper question arrived: Now what? Mike joins Jerome Myers for a powerful conversation about founder burnout, post-exit identity, and the difference between building for achievement and building from alignment. They explore why founders often lose energy when they become disconnected from the customer, the company's purpose, and the work that actually lights them up. Mike also shares how his post-exit journey led him to create Wayfinders, a company that designs immersive experiences to help leaders reconnect with themselves, others, nature, and something larger than achievement. From the mountains of British Columbia to monasteries in Bhutan, this conversation is an invitation to rethink what success means after the exit. Because the real question is not just whether you can sell the business. The real question is: Who will you be when it is gone? As a woman who deeply cares about women's rights, I am obsessed with a show that is totally problematic. America's Sweethearts Season 3 just dropped on Netflix. I grabbed fellow DCC-obsessed Mara Davis, an Atlanta radio legend who has been watching the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders since the 1970s, sat through all 17 seasons on CMT, and has opinions about every single cheerleader, judge, and PR move in that building. We get into Reece's early retirement and the trad wife speculation swirling on Reddit, Faith's breakout season and the ponytail situation, whether the coordinated cheerleader solidarity online is real or engineered, what Kelli's exit meeting with Faith reveals about leadership under serious pressure, and why two feminists who probably shouldn't love this show absolutely cannot stop watching it. Most of us settle for specks of happiness when what we really need are clear non-negotiables—and Russell Wilson's list might just flip your love game upside down. Turns out, the secret to snagging a real catch isn't about beauty or status; it's about faith, loyalty, and that magnetic presence that commands the room. And guess what? Women like Sierra have to kiss frogs — sometimes ugly, sometimes fake—before finding their prince.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

This is a Graves Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWOWhat happens when grief collides with the paranormal? For author and actor Phill Webster, it led to a complete transformation of his life and purpose. After spending two decades abroad, Phill returned to his native England during the twilight of the COVID-19 pandemic—only to face a devastating personal loss. But in the depths of sorrow came something extraordinary: a paranormal experience so profound that it shifted his path forever. That journey gave birth to his bestselling book, “Letting Glow: A Guide to Intuition, Spirituality, and Living Consciously.” More than just a memoir, the book acts as a roadmap for anyone seeking to understand the unseen, connect with their higher self, and embrace intuition as a guiding force. Through personal stories, meditations, and practical exercises, Phill shows how small changes in thinking can open the door to greater awareness, purpose, and spiritual connection. In this episode of The Grave Talks, we sit down with Phill Webster to explore the experiences that led to his awakening—moments of haunting, grief, and insight that tore down the walls between this world and the next. From early encounters with the unexplained to his exploration of mediumship and consciousness, Phill invites us into a world where spirituality isn't just abstract—it's lived, felt, and transformative. Was his experience simply a coincidence, or proof of a deeper connection between grief, spirit, and intuition? How does one move from being an actor living abroad to a spiritual seeker uncovering truths about life after death? After the Knicks championship parade, Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber wonder how a title changes the way New York fans experience everything else. Does winning it all make the Yankees season feel less stressful, or does it only raise the hunger for another championship? The guys dive into the Yankees dominance even without Aaron Judge, Francisco Lindor nearing a Mets return, Knicks offseason questions, parade reactions from fans, and the strange emotional letdown that comes after a dream season finally ends.
The Knicks are champions, the parade glow is still fresh, and Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber begin the conversation every fan knew was coming: what happens next? James Dolan's comments about the NBA's second apron turn the celebration into a debate over money, flexibility, and how far an owner should go to protect a championship window. Evan pushes back on the idea that any New York owner should say a check is too big, while Tiki weighs the business reality of keeping a contender together. The conversation also touches on Leon Rose's role, the possibility of running it back with key pieces like Mitchell Robinson and Landry Shamet, fan reaction to the parade, and a caller's throwback frustration over “Who Let the Dogs Out.”

In this episode Phil Vella, founder of Vita Bella, returns to break down the wild west of the gray market peptide industry. He shares new data showing 70 percent of research peptides now fail purity and contamination testing, why so many random people are running peptide side hustles out of their garages, and the real risks of injection site infections and improperly dosed products. They cover why hormone optimization should always come before peptides, the most popular peptides Vita Bella prescribes, the science behind PDE5 inhibitors for both performance and longevity, and the regulatory battle between big pharma and compounding pharmacies over GLP medications. Phil also opens up about a brutal stretch of his life that included losing his father, a double spinal fusion injury, and nine people from his childhood neighborhood dying by suicide within about a year, and how that period reshaped his understanding of money, purpose, and fatherhood. After the Battle of Shiloh, soldiers reported a faint blue glow in their wounds - and the ones who glowed survived. 139 years later, a pair of teenagers traced it to a soil-dwelling bacterium that produces bioluminescence for reasons we still don't understand. But the real twist? There's no primary source for the legend before 2001. No letters. No surgeon reports. But the Ghost Ship has reappeared, and it seems to have taken over the mind and body of Alibi Jones! We'll see if Alibi can break free in Chapter Thirty of Alibi Jones and The Hornet's Nest! There's a lot more in Hershey than Chocolate! Hershey is a company town, named for Milton S. Hershey, the chocolate man who built a candy empire, and a thriving town that's one of the top tourist attractions in Pennsylvania...with a 4th grade education. It's an amazing story, but after I've told you that history, and the history of the big HersheyPark amusement park, we're going to leave chocolate behind, and talk about something I'm much more comfortable with: booze and food. So there's an interview with Coty Edwards, the master distiller at Hidden Still Spirits. They're making some really good bourbon, and bottling genuine tequila, too. There's also a short interview with Matt Gundrum, director of brewing operations at the resurrected Iron Hill Brewing right there in Hershey (and Philly, and Lancaster, and Wilmington, and Huntingdon Valley). It's a very happy story. I visited some fun places in the area, like The Filling Station, and Gary's Bar, Pronio's Market and the Hershey Fresh Market (and little Pikku Piru!), Parkside Hotel, and Tröegs Independent Brewing. The next day I made a shortcut batch of stuffed peppers with Cathy's idea assistance, and I'll tell you how that worked; pantry cooking! There's a progress report on the new book (with a new working title: Whiskey: An Illustrated Primer), and a little bit of personal excitement about going to a friend's Juneteenth celebration. What I'm Drinking Today is a Heaven Hill Deatsville Edition 13 Year Old Bourbon, aged in a type of warehouse you may never have seen before. Did it affect the flavor? I think it might have...or maybe..."oh hell, that don't work at all." Next episode will be about...something. Yup. Again. See you in two weeks! Until then? TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THE PODCAST! Send us Fan Mail *This episode includes open and honest discussion about suicide, suicide loss, and mental health struggles. We talk about lived experiences, prevention myths, language that reduces stigma, and ways to seek help when safety is at risk. If these topics are difficult or activating for you, please listen with care. You may want to pause, step away, or skip this episode entirely if it feels overwhelming. Your wellbeing matters, and it's okay to take the space you need. *Silence can feel polite, but around suicide it can be deadly. I sit down with Kelly Poelker, the heart behind Glow for Hope, to talk about what happens when we stop whispering about mental health and start building real community around it. Kelly shares how personal loss shaped her mission, and why creating spaces where people feel safe enough to speak can be the first step toward saving a life. We dig into what Glow for Hope actually does, from glow-in-the-dark events like Spike Out Suicide to community tables where a single brochure and a simple question can lead to a breakthrough conversation. Kelly explains the organization's pillars, how fun and connection can coexist with grief, and why lived experience matters alongside clinical expertise. We also tackle common suicide prevention myths, including the fear that asking about suicide “puts the idea” in someone's head, and why the words we choose like “died by suicide” can reduce stigma and make room for healing. If you're a parent, we talk about modelling emotional regulation, starting coping skills early, and learning to listen without rushing to fix. If you're struggling yourself, we name clear starting points for help, including the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text), trusted people in your life, and emergency options when safety is at risk. Subscribe, share this with someone you care about, and leave a review so more listeners can find these conversations that can truly change outcomes.Support the show

In this Q&A episode of the Her Stack Series, I'm answering the peptide questions you're asking me every single day in my DMs and comments: → Can I take peptides while breastfeeding? → What if I have a personal or family history of cancer? → Why won't my postpartum belly fat budge, even when I'm doing everything "right"? → Blends vs. single peptides, which is right for me? → How do I build my own peptide stack without ending up on eight injections a day? I'm unfiltered in this one. I share why there will never be clinical trials on peptides during breastfeeding (and what that really means for you when you're making the decision), the truth about growth hormone, IGF-1, and theoretical cancer risk, and my honest take on why most peptide advice from men completely misses the mark for women. Chelsea and Prose & Glow's Julia Washington deep dive into “This Is Me: A Reckoning,” the memoir from “Heroes” and “Nashville” star Hayden Panettiere. Together, they unpack Hayden's rise from child star with a momager (of course) to tabloid fixture while dealing with addiction, postpartum depression, and the crushing weight of being a young woman in the 2000s. Plus: her age-gap relationships with Milo Ventimiglia and Wladimir Klitschko, and why this memoir feels deeply haunting.
