Earth Dreams: Zen Buddhism and the Soul of the World

It's beautiful to be taking refuge together in all the various places we find ourselves.Ah. Here we are. Survivors of the election. Spiritual warriors attempting to live a vow-fueled life. Hearts turned towards love larger then fear. Even if fear is rattling in your gut, or anger is raging strong in your body or numbness has you hiding out.Whatever you are feeling is welcome.Whatever you are feeling is wisdom. Its your body telling you something—That something might be: This isn't ok. NO! I don't feel safe. I am afraid. I don't know what to do. I don't know if I have the energy to fight. This matters. This is what i love. This is what i care about.Or something else. Listen. What is your body trying to say to you? This may change moment to moment. In the Zen Community of Oregon, we are currently studying a text called The Eight Realizations of a Great Being. A set of pith instructions given by the Buddha shortly before they died. This week we explored the Fifth RealizationIgnorance leads to birth and death. Bodhisattvas are always mindfulTo study and learn extensively, to increase their wisdomAnd perfect their eloquence, so they can teach and enlighten all beings,And impart great joy to all.Dogen Zenji calls it Always Maintaining Mindfulness and comments:Mindfulness helps you to guard the dharma, so you never lose it. If you practice this the robbers of fear and desire cannot enter you. Therefore you should always maintain mindfulness. It is like wearing armor going into a battlefield, so there is nothing to be afraid of.When we have mindfulness, or heartfulness—we know who we are, and where we stand. We are aligned with vow, the great vow—to awaken for the sake of all beings!Mindfulness has its popular dimensions in our culture. Its found its way into businesses, schools, the military—its featured in taglines like Mindful Car Washing, Mindful Jogging, Mindful Eating, Mindful Sleep Therapy. Its said to help workers stay focused, increase productivity, basically make everything better…Yet, mindfulness is also subversive. A mindfulness instructor, Zen practitioner and friend said to to me in a conversation once, mindfulness is shadow work. He has taught mindfulness in business settings, and when he said this, I felt the truth in his words. Mindfulness is empowering and it also brings us into direct relationship with the wisdom of our bodies, the feelings perhaps we have been trying to run from, the fixed beliefs that drive our life.Through mindfulness we aren't lost in the wimbs or conditioning of our thinking / reactivity. We can live more authentically, we can ask questions, make space for our anger and feel the wisdom of our fears.Mindfulness is our best english translation of the word sati, which means more “to recollect” or “to remember.” What are we remembering? Our practice, the dharma, heart, we are reconnecting with what really matters. If you are feeling a lot right now, its your body saying yes, this matters, our interconnected life matters. The earth, immigrants in our country, trans + non-binary people, queer folks, women, people of color, the more than human world—matter.Love matters. Wisdom matters. Seeing through the forces of ignorance matter. Awakening from our collective delusion matters.Mindfulness also means being present with, allowing what's here to be here—in the different dimensions of our being:My teacher Chozen Roshi would often teach the four foundations of mindfulness during morning meditation at the monastery. This teaching offers a ground up approach to experiencing this precious interconnected life. Here we start with our body.Body—bringing awareness to the felt sense of our bodies, part by part feeling our bodies from within the somatic experience of the body allows us to awaken to the wisdom of our embodied experience.Feelings—next we include feelings, allowing awareness to make space for the flow of life energy that we call emotion or feeling. To feel feelings without needed to make a story about them, without needing to name them. Just to feel the energy itself. This is our energy. This is our life.Thought—So often we just take our thoughts to be true, or we get in a fight with them. To bring mindfulness to the thought stream empowers us to see/hear what we are telling ourselves. It is possible to experience thought as pure sensation, another sense in the field of awareness. To do this, gives us freedom from the tyranny of our conditioned thoughts. Mind is freed up.Awareness itself—after opening to and including body, feelings and thought, next we open to awareness itself. Resting in pure awareness, senses open, one single unified life. This is our shared being, all is included, all is allowed.Thoughts and emotions often want to take us out of our experience, into story, worry, blaming others, searching for information—we can learn to follow them back home, to the liberated self.I have been reflecting on the teaching of the Five Wisdom Dakinis that comes from the Tibetan tradition, Lama Tsultrim Allione writes about them in her book Wisdom Rising.Dakini is one depiction of the awakened feminine, known also as a “sky-dancer” or “sky-goer”, the dakini principle is here to wake us up from our habits of ego-identification. Dakinis are often portrayed in motion, dancing on delusion and decorated in bone ornaments. The five wisdom dakinis are portrayed as fierce and passionate beings who transmute/use the energy of the emotions as the liberated energy of awakening. I feel like this time is inviting us to feel and use the energy of the emotions to meet the challenges we face as a country and a global community. We need the awakened feminine with her fierce hope and embodied wisdom. The five wisdom dakinis are connected to colors, the great elements and a buddha family. Earth—Yellow — Ratna — transmutes the desire for sensual pleasure and security into the Wisdom of Sameness, Abundance and GenerosityWater—Blue — Vajra — transmutes anger into Mirror Like Wisdom and ClarityFire—Red — Padma — transmutes passionate desire for connection and sexual energy into Discerning Wisdom and CompassionSpace—White — Buddha — transmutes fear/ignorance into All Inclusive WisdomAir—Green — Karma — transmutes jealousy/comparison/insecurity into All Accomplishing Wisdom or Great ActivityThe stories and koans of the women ancestors show us how real women have embodied these energies in their life of practice-realization. Stories help us see beyond ourselves and our limiting beliefs and also remind us that others have faced challenges and difficulties on the path. They also help us connect to practitioners beyond our current teachers or community. Here are some stories I'd like to share:The Old Woman burns down the Hermitage An old woman built a hermitage for a monk and supported him for twenty years. One day, to test the extent of the monk's enlightenment and understanding, she sent a young, beautiful, girl to the hut with orders to embrace him. When the girl embraced the monk and asked, “How is this?” He replied stiffly, “A withered tree among frozen rocks; not a trace of warmth for three winters.” Hearing of the monk's response, the old woman grabbed a stick, went to the hermitage, beat him and chased him out of the hut. She then put the hermitage to the torch and burned it to the ground.Ryonen Scars her FaceLingzhao's I'm helpingSatsujo WeepsTo close, I offer some questions for reflection as we land in this moment and also look to the future. What is this moment awakening in me? (Stay with yourself, listen to your body, feelings, thoughts, vow—we gather wisdom by listening to our whole being, and then use discernment, what is coming from conditioning and reactivity, and what is wise—if you don't know, keep listening)How do I want to show up for myself / my community? What supports / teachings / practices might I need to do this? What nourishes me?Thanks for reading friends! Have you ever wondered how much of your past has shaped who you are and the experiences you have today?    How would you feel if you discovered that the person you dislike the most in this life was the one you loved the most in your last one?    As with all of her books,  Dena Merriam's latest book, To Dance With the Dakinis: In Search of Self is a study of the universal law of cause and effect, how events in our life, our deeds, thoughts and reactions impel the process of rebirth. But what makes this one different is that she brings the Law of Karma to life by sharing a story that begins in 12th Century Tibet, and then unravels the threads that link together two more incarnations of the same soul - her own - illustrating how the events set in motion in one life, led to the crisis she experiences in the ones that follow.    Dena Merriam has been a student of Paramahansa Yogananda and a practitioner of Kriya Yoga meditation for over 40 years. She began working in the inter-faith movement in the late 1990s, and  founded the Global Peace Initiative of Women (GPIW) in 2002. Podcast episode 13. Orchestrating Insight: A Discussion on Sharing Buddhist Teachings Bill Moriarty and Michael Carroll discuss how to approach becoming a teacher, and what that even means. Notes from this show: The Vagrant and the poet W. Blythe Miller, Phd. https://sangha.live/teachers/lama-willa-miller-bio/ While Willa, in this article, does not speak to the “5 point Mahamudra practice” formulated by Gampopa, here is a section from the text depicting Gampopa's conversation with Phagmo Drupa that set the foundation for the practice: https://drukpa.org/our-forefathers/phagmo-drupa/ Gampopa said to Phagmo Drupa: …You go to mountainous areas and so on, congenial places where disenchantment can be produced and experience can develop. There you arouse the mind thinking, “For the purposes of sentient beings, I will attain Buddhahood”. You meditate on your body as the deity. You meditate on the guru over your crown. Then, not letting your mind be spoiled with thoughts, not altering this mind—because it is nothing whatsoever—in any way at all, set yourself in clarity which is pure, vividly present, clean-clear, wide-awake! Later, Phagmo Drupa formalized this instruction into the 5 point Mahamudra – from another text:Phagmo Drupa said: First, meditate on enlightenment mind; Meditate on the yidam deity; Meditate on the holy guru; Meditate on Mahāmudrā; Afterwards, seal it with dedication Jigme Phuntsok quote: I came all the way from the Snow Land of Tibet to the US. I find myself now in a place that can be called the second land of Shambhala. In fact, the actual kingdom of Shambhala is one of the five great sacred places according to the Buddhist doctrines. These five sacred places are: 1) Bodh Gaya, the sacred place located at the center of this world where all buddhas of the three times will attain full awakening; 2) Mount Wutai, the Five-Peaked Mountain in China, the sacred place of the east where Lord Manjushri now dwells; 3) Mount Potala, the sacred place of the south where noble Avalokiteshvara actually resides; 4) Copper-Colored Mountain or Oddiyana, the sacred place of the west, the Land of Dakinis, where Guru Padmasambhava abides; and 5) Shambhala, the sacred place of the north. https://khenposodargye.org/content/uploads/2023/12/A-Journey-to-the-West-1-English-20231223.pdf --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the-wisdom-seat/message

To Dance with Dakinis is a study of the universal law of cause and effect, how events in our life, our deeds, thoughts, and reactions impel the process of rebirth. The story begins in 12th century Tibet, with a woman's search for the Goddess and the deeper truths of life. You meet ordinary people dealing with human suffering and you visit magical lakes and mountains. You also meet the great Mother, and through her dakinis, adepts, gurus, and loving souls who guide us life after life, without revealing their spiritual stature. Then we meet the great Guru Rinpoche, known to Tibetans as Padmasambhava. We will learn more of the spiritual history of Tibet and India and the deep interconnection of these two great civilizations. The story unravels the threads that link together three lives. Through a crisis that Padma, our main character encounters, she is led to a Master who helps awaken memories of her previous life in medieval France and an earlier life in China, during which events were set in motion that led to the crisis she now faced. This book recounts deeply touching tales of her experiences and learnings amidst the cultural settings of the times she lived in. In the process of her journey, great teachings are conveyed, teachings that we can apply to our lives today. Call it Life's sense of humor or divine justice, that the person you resented the very sight of, becomes a dear relative in the next; an illiterate low-caste woman in one life is reborn as a queen; the unfulfilled love of one life comes to ultimate fruition in another one; and so much more. It may suddenly strike you that all our feelings of resentment, anger or pride are ultimately futile—and what a liberating realization that is! Life doesn't forget anything – neither your good deeds and vows, nor your wrong deeds or thoughts that you tried to hide from all. Dena Merriam began working in the inter-faith movement in the late 1990s when she served as Vice Chair of the Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders held at the United Nation in New York in the year 2000. She subsequently convened a meeting of women religious and spiritual leaders at the Palais des Nations in Geneva and from that gathering founded the Global Peace Initiative of Women (GPIW) in 2002, an organization chaired by a multi-faith group of women spiritual leaders. In 2008, Ms. Merriam was one of the founding members of the Contemplative Alliance, which later became a program of GPIW. The purpose of the Alliance is to bring together meditation teachers and practitioners in a collective effort to uplift and transform society, while caring for and honoring our Mother Earth. The story begins in 12th century Tibet, with a woman's search for the Goddess and the deeper truths of life. A crisis that she encounters leads her to a great Master who helps awaken memories of her previous life in medieval France and a much earlier life in China, during which events were set in motion that led her to the crisis she now faced. The book follows her through death, the time between earthly rebirths and then her rebirth in India, where she brings to conclusion unfinished matters from her life in Tibet. In the process of her journey, great teachings are conveyed, teachings that we can all apply to our lives today.

For most Vajrayana Buddhists, the practice of Guru Rinpoche, the Lotus Born Padmasambhava, is the most profound of practices for meditations, and accomplishments. Chanting both the mantra of Padmasambhava, and the 7 lines of praise, is the purest form of practice. Chanting the praise in the original mother language of Sanskrit, rather than a translation such as Tibetan, English or other languages, is considered the most effective. In this video, chant along with Hrishikesh Sonar, the 7 lines of praise in Sanskrit, with the mantra of Padmasambhava, ideally 27 times daily. We start with a very short introduction and the Praise in English, but you will find the time code to jump ahead in the description. Turn on CC for other languages or chant along.Any translation of the Sanskrit is a compromise since each syllable in Sanskrit traditionally means many things. Also, the vibrations of the mother language are considered to have sacred power. In English the great Dharani praise translates as:    In Oḍiyāna in the North-West  In the heart of a lotus flower   Endowed with the most marvelous attainments   You are renowned as the Lotus Born   Surrounded by many hosts of Dakinis   Following in your footsteps  I pray to you. Come inspire me with your blessing.   This is followed by the mantra. After 27 repetitions, there is a final dedication in Sanskrit.Chant along with the amazing voice of Hrishikesh Sonar, the most sacred wish-fulfilling praise of Guru Rinpoche, the Lotus Born Padmasambhava.hūṁ | oḍiyāne vāyavye | padmakesarakāṇḍe | siddhir labdhātyadbhutā | khyāta padmasambhava | bahuḍākībhir āvṛta | tavaivānusarāmi | āyāhy adhiṣṭḥānārthaṁ | guru padma siddhi hūṁ || Mantra:om ah hūṁ vajra guru padma siddhi hūṁ At the end of 27 repetitions:iti gururatnasaptapadaprārthanā || This is the prayer to the Precious Guru, in seven sentences.Support the show

These activity Dakinis help bring us the powers of peaceful, magnetizing, subjugating, auspiciousness and supreme acitivites! (For those with faith and devotion.) By popular request, this is the FIVE mantras, with visualized images version of our previous full documentary on the Wisdom Dakinis. So beautiful! In the background, Venerable Zasep Rinpoche recite/chants the Sacred Heart Sutra. Very profound — a beautiful meditation. Chant along with Yoko Dharma! (Mantras are subtitled for chant-along ease.) *** NOTE: The Five Powers is a meditative statement. As with all "healing" and "empowering" mantras, it is subject to your own meditative skills, your faith, and always subject to the advice of your medical primary health care providers. Mantras and meditations are profoundly effective for those with faith, but with all the common-sense disclaimers.***Synopsis of the 5 Wisdom Dakinis: The five wisdom Dakinis are the "wisdom" counterparts of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. Dakinis symbolize wisdom activities and Dhyani Buddhas symbolize compassion and method. As the Enlightened Path includes both wisdom and compassion, these are inseparable — which is why the metaphor used is "consort." Whether wisdom is the consort of compassion or the reverse, is not important. They are co-equal partners. Generally, Wisdom activities are carried out by the Wisdom Dakinis. And, this is where the five activities represented by five dakinis become important. Each of these is represented by a color. Four Activities and the Supreme In general, there are four activities — plus, the supreme activity. The four activities are peaceful, increasing, magnetizing, and subjugating, and the fifth is the supreme — which is the ultimate combination of all of these. These are represented by the five colors: white for peaceful activities, yellow for increasing activities, red for magnetizing activities, blue for subjugating. The fifth is green, which is considered to be the combination of all the other four — the supreme. This is why Green Tara and Vajra Dakini are considered to be the "ultimate action heroes" — since they combine all the types of activities in one magnificent Dakini aspect. The great Padmasambhava, quoted from the book Dakini Activity, defines the vital role of the wisdom Dakini best (from Dakini Activity (book) by Padmasambhava."The source of activity is the dakini and there are five kinds of activities, peaceful, increasing, magnetizing, subjugating, and the supreme activity. The primary way to perfect these is through dakini practices, and among dakinis, there are the wisdom dakinis, in space and worldly. These vast collections of practices can be condensed into those of the three roots, lama, yidam, and dakini. "The source of blessings is the lama, the source of accomplishment is the yidam, and the source of activities is the dakinis. The one who carries out the activities for the lama and the yidam is the dakini, in other words, the virtue of blessings and accomplishment is the activity, which is the dakini." #SpreadTheDharma #BuddhaWeekly #Buddhism #DakiniSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/BuddhaWeekly)

Mandala of the Five Dakini's Meditation Full Practice This is a recording of a complete 5 Dakini Meditation Practice Session at the end of a 6 week study (recorded by Melissa Abbott during a zoom call at my friend Jo Haight Sarling's home in Cocoa Beach, FL.), from a book study and meditation practice group studying the book “ Wisdom Rising” The Mandala of the Empowered Feminine, by Lama Tsultrim Allione. In the first 5 weeks we have studied the individual practices, attributes and states of each of the 5 Dakini's. Sounding their Seed Syllables and embodying their attributes in meditation as a way of transformation burning through encumbered states of being, resulting in a more expanded unencumbered wisdom consciousness of each Dakini, week by week.  This is a Tibetan Buddhist Tantric Practice brought from India to Tibet about 800ad by Guru Rinpoche or Padma Sambhava.  the Mandala as a cosmological system, and through the Mandala we experience the encumbered and transformed unencumbered states of the Dakinis (which are aspects of the sacred feminine). The Mandala being the one ground and the practice is an uncovering of our own enlightened awareness and transformation into enlightened presence. Its been a beautiful journey learning the 5 Dakini Practices with all of the participants around the world including UK, Switzerland, and Argentina. Thank you for your involvements, synergy, focus, love, and interest. Special Thanks to Jo Haight Surling for having the practice at her home in Cocoa Beach and helping me coordinate the process. There really is something special about practicing in a group. The Five Dakini's practices work with transforming encumbered energies ( Samskaras) such as  procrastination, neediness, envy, jealousy, anger, fear etc into “The Wisdom Energies of the Dakinis evolved/transformed/manifersted to an unencumbered view”. The mandala/circle, elemental energies, directional energies, visualization, seed syllables, Uccara, etc are used in the Dakini practices. Ultimately, the absolute level is beyond gender, how on a relative level men and women get to the ultimate level may be very different paths. Women have long thought they have to act like men to attain anything in this world. The cultural messages truly effect and disempower women on so many levels. The Dakini is a messenger of spasciousness, a force of truth, a transitional primal power, a fierce compassion for change and upliftment.  I believe the recognition of feminine empowerment holds a key to cultural evolution and that awareness of practices line the Five Dakini's . I highly recommend you get the book and read it, until you get the book, tho, it is all right to come and practice and get a taste of it and see if it is for you. It is exciting work I ask that we practice not only for ourselves but for the benefit of all.

What are the five Wisdom Dakinis? Why are they central to Tibetan Buddhist practice? Why are they associated with activity practices— peaceful, increasing, magnetizing, subjugating and supreme activities — such as Chod? In this presentation, we try to answer these questions. We present the mantras of the Five Wisdom Dakinis, sung by the amazing Yoko Dharma at the end of this introduction. The one who carries out the activities for the lama and the yidam is the dakini, in other words, the virtue of blessings and accomplishment is the activity, which is the dakini." To help clarify how the great Padmasambhava's words reflect the five Wisdom Dakinis, it can be helpful to clarify both the meaning of Dakini and the symbolism of color and image in Tibetan Buddhism. Summarizing the Five Great Wisdom Dakinis The five wisdom Dakinis are the "wisdom" counterparts of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. Dakinis symbolize wisdom activities and Dhyani Buddhas symbolize compassion and method. As the Enlightened Path includes both wisdom and compassion, these are inseparable — which is why the metaphor used is "consort." Enlightened Feminine Empowerment Green Karma Dakini Meditation Practice This is a portion of the Five Dakini Practice that assists you to transform encumbered states of consciousness, such as jealousy, competitiveness, envy, speediness, workaholic tendencies, and ambition, to all- accomplishing wisdom.  You will visualize the Green Dakini and intensify your encumbered states to a powerful expanded and empowered dissolution of non-striving.  This is from the practices of the Five Dakini's from the “ Wisdom Rising” book by Lama Tsultrim Allione.  These practices come down to us from a Tibetan Tantric Buddhism female practitioner named Machig Lapdron and are over 1000 years old.    The Five Dakini's practices work with transforming encumbered energies ( Samskaras) such as  procrastination, neediness, envy, jealousy, anger, fear etc into “The Wisdom Energies of the Dakinis evolved unencumbered view”. I believe the recognition of feminine empowerment holds a key to cultural evolution and that awareness of practices line the Five Dakini's  recorded live in Cocoa Beach, Florida at a friends home Jan 19, 2022 by Melissa Abbott MelissaAbbott.com

In this episode I am once again joined by Dr Ben Joffe, anthropologist and scholar practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism. This episode is the third part of a series in which we explore Ben’s PhD dissertation about the ngakpa of the Himalayas, or as Ben calls them ‘wizards and socially engaged yogis’. In this episode we explore the realms of gender and sexual orientation, in both textual and social contexts. Ben discusses the complex situation of female spiritual practitioners in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, looking at terms such as ‘khandroma’, ‘dakini’, and more. We learn about the role of the sangyum, or sexual consort, and find out why Ben’s teacher and co-author Dr Nida Chenagtsang dedicated their book on sexual yoga to abuse victims, particularly those who have been abused in religious contexts. And finally we discuss the heteronormative / heterosexual perspective of traditional tantric texts, and hear Ben’s thoughts on how to practice sexual yoga in other orientations. … Video version: https://www.guruviking.com/ep52-dr-ben-joffe-3-dakinis-consorts-beyond-heteronormativity/ Audio version of this podcast also available on iTunes and Stitcher – search ‘Guru Viking Podcast’. … Topics include: 0:00 - Intro 1:08 - Ngakma, dakinis, and female practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism 15:55 - The dakini in traditional and new-age contexts 25:52 - Thoughts on the tantric prohibition against disparaging women 34:31 - The role of the sangyum (tantric consort) 51:52 - Sex with the tantric guru vs Western ethical trends 1:20:30 - Thoughts on practice of sexual yoga in contexts other than the heteronormative … Ngakpa series with Dr Ben Joffe: - https://www.guruviking.com/ep44-dr-ben-joffe-ngakpa-the-occult-and-anthropology/ - https://www.guruviking.com/ep48-dr-ben-joffe-2-siddhi-samaya-and-duels-of-magick/ - https://www.guruviking.com/ep52-dr-ben-joffe-3-dakinis-consorts-beyond-heteronormativity/ Ben’s dissertation - https://pqdtopen.proquest.com/doc/2335180529.html?FMT=ABS&fbclid=IwAR3bXYiUmC6YcOgR09-GuSiC_UwwXYuTcLJ-kce_tI3-8e-smZS99wy1HMY To find out more about Ben, visit: - https://perfumedskull.com/ - http://www.skypressbooks.com/ For more interviews, videos, and more visit: - www.guruviking.com Music ‘Deva Dasi’ by Steve James

Danke Ihnen allen! OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL UNSERE GEBETE SIND BEI EUCH ALLEN Buddhistisches Institut Karma Tengyal Ling bei Berlin

Dakini Shima. This episode it's a spontaneous Transmission that happened one late afternoon, by the river at Learning Clan Festival (near Cape Town) on the first of Jan 2020. What a wonderful way to begin this year with the blessing of Dakini Shima - Teacher of the Tantric Path of Sacred Sexuality. Her wisdom is beyond the linear mind- It drops like holy nectar directly into the heart of the seeker...she speaks about Mahamudra ( the cosmic posture of self-realization) and the profound wisdom of Maha-Yoni and Sacred-Lingam that is present in every human being ...if we manage to keep our personality out of the way ! The recording it's a bit noisy ...but I choose to publish the unedited raw file as a reflection of Life itself . (BTW, when the Dakinis talk it's always a reflection of reality! ) Our lives are often really noisy too...but if we are looking for the Truth, the noises can become symphonies of harmony expressing in chaotic ways. Just as we are. The song at the beginning and the one at the end of this recording , were also recorded at the Festival - they too are a spontaneous Transmission inspired by this Tantric convergence of Dakinis . I hope they will melt your mind into the form of your heart so that the teaching may penetrate you deeply in your humanity . Jai Mahamudra!

During the first two weeks of November and December, to celebrate the opening of my year-long programs (A Year of SHE & the SHE Leadership Circle), I’m sharing a new series on the podcast called “Dakini’s Den.” In Tibetan Buddhism, Dakinis are manifestations of Awakening appearing in feminine form. Each of these SHE Talks is an excerpt from the “Dakini’s Den” classes I taught in the 2018 year-long programs; and today’s talk is all about turning into the blazing truth within you. All the answers to all our problems live inside us. To heal the world, each of us needs to play our part in listening to and then acting on this inner guidance. Even though it’s the most pleasurable and profound experience one can ever have, we still have tremendous resistance to turning to the blazing truth within us. May today’s talk inspire you to stop looking for magic “out there” and start shedding limitations to resource the miracle that you already are. Aired Thursday, 18 October 2018, 7:00 PM ETManifesting the Wisdom of the Empowered Feminine with the Five Dakinis with Lama Tsultrim AllioneThe overwhelming success of 2017’s Women’s March on Washington demonstrated the rise of the feminine energy in the collective unconscious of humanity. And not before time, for as this week’s guest, Lama Tsultrim Allione asserts, “The suppression of the sacred feminine, and the loss of feminine qualities is an urgent psychological and ecological issue in modern society, and that it is only by empowering the sacred feminine and by listening to the earth as she tries to communicate with us that we will ultimately heal ourselves and the planet.”About the Guest: Lama Tsultrim AllioneLAMA TSULTRIM ALLIONE is a celebrated Buddhist teacher and spiritual activist. The founder and resident lama of Tara Mandala Retreat Center in Colorado, she is the author of Women of Wisdom, and the national bestseller Feeding Your Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Resolving Inner Conflict, now translated into 20 languages. In her latest book, Wisdom Rising: Journey into the Mandala of the Empowered Feminine, Lama Tsultrim Allione provides a method for inner transformation and empowerment into wisdom and fierce compassion for both women and men who want to be a part of the rising awareness and return of the sacred feminine.Websites: www.taramandala.org and www.wisdomrisingbook.com

Lama Tsultrim Allione joins the podcast to share her journey into her lifelong immersion as a trail blazing woman deep in the heart of Buddhism and to discuss her amazing new book Wisdom Rising: Journey Into the Mandala of the Empowered Feminine. Tsultrim's masterful new book teaches you how to embody the enlightened, fierce power of the sacred feminine—the tantric dakinis. Our conversation breaks down the different archetypes of the divine feminine found in the tantric Buddhist teachings and why it's as important as ever to embody them for life in the modern Western world. This knowledge and the subsequent practice radiates for women but is also applicable for men and their search for a more balanced life. INTRO RANT - How we spend our time and it's effect on emotional intelligence Lama Tsultrim Allione, author and international teacher, is the founder and spiritual director of Tara Mandala. In recent years, as we’ve come to revere the Divine Feminine, we’ve replaced one set of rules (work yourself to the bone to prove that you can do the job as well as any man can) for another (drink green juice, wear crystals, and worship the moon and Mercury Retrograde to prove that you’re a good person). Somewhere in the mix of swapping one societal code for another, we’re still missing the point. You are the creator of your life. You are god in the flesh. You are a divine being, in charge of designing your own destiny. The power is inside of you. And you’ll never find it anywhere else. If you’re not yet as happy, healthy, whole, wealthy, successful, vibrant, or (fill in the blank), as you long to be…...maybe it’s time to admit that you’ve been looking for answers in all the wrong places. Will 2018 be the year that you finally take your power back? If your answer is “YES,” then I invite you to come on a journey with me. Beyond the land of “same-old, same-old,” and into the Realm of Extraordinary (aka The Kingdom of Heaven Within). Over the next few weeks, I’ll show you the ins and outs of this mystical landscape in a new podcast mini-series: Disrupting the Divine Feminine. In today’s SHE Talk, I map out: - The (exciting!) new model of womanhood that Oprah debuted earlier this week - Why I’m transplanting the hottest concept from the business world into the field of feminine spirituality & empowerment - How Quantum Physics can help us feel at home in a very uncertain world Why super-sexy, flying fairies (from a 1,000-year-old tradition in Tibetan Buddhism) hold the medicine we’re all seeking today - What Daenerys Targaryen can teach us about embodying new levels of greatness as women If you’re needing to remember that you alone hold the power to create your reality, I hope this episode returns you to your agency. It’s a small taste of what’s to come in the only program I’m teaching this year: The SHE School & SHE Leadership Circle 2018: www.thesheschool.com

In this episode I share a piece I wrote that serves as a sort of guerrilla psychedelic research white paper. It is the most direct and concise articulation of my thesis: Demons are invisible to the naked eye but exist as energetic parasites lurking all around us at all times They are attracted by energy that’s released during sex, aggression, intimidation, fear, etc. They enter into cracks in the protective shield of our auric field and chakra system caused by abuse, trauma, neglect, lack of adequate love, negative thought patterns, etc. Acts of sexual manipulation, abuse, exploitation, and rape create opportunities for them to spread and infect souls, virgin souls are a delicacy for them With varying degrees of conscious awareness from relatively benign ignorance, to sinister intentionality: sexual predators are being possessed by demonic entities Surgical shamanic exorcism must be performed to remove them In perpetrators with full blown infections, their demons have spread and gotten control of their nervous system Victims have incubating infections that if disinfected, purified, and healed before they spread into the nervous system, can prevent neurosis and sexual pathology Surgical shamanic exorcism when combined with certain psychedelic plant medicines, ceremonial ritual allows for the patient and/or shaman to see the infectious parasitic organisms as if with x-ray vision Goddess-centered sacred sexual healing arts such as Tantra when applied in conjunction with psychedelic shamanic exorcism produces a positive synergistic effect whereby an erotic exorcism can be performed Most traditional psychedelic shamanic healing ceremonies are inaccessible financially and geographically by the average American Most Tantric “Dakas” (male sexual healers) and “Dakinis” (female sexual healers) are inaccessible financially by the average American A “poor man’s” do-it-yourself-or-with-partners home-based procedure can be quickly, easily, and affordably trained for mass application with minimal risks and mild if any drug side-effects
