------------------------------------------------------- Nostalgia: https://go.ivoox.com/sq/2574733 Via Miranda: https://go.ivoox.com/sq/2494621 The Sound Of Music: https://go.ivoox.com/sq/1788620 Marcianos Que Nos Tocan Las Guitarras: https://go.ivoox.com/sq/707397 Sesión Paralela: https://go.ivoox.com/sq/3123177 Sinfonautas: https://go.ivoox.com/sq/1317188 Entremixtando: https://go.ivoox.com/sq/1247719 La Capsa De Ritmes: https://go.ivoox.com/sq/1363038 Ivoox Premium: https://www.ivoox.vip/premium?affiliate-code=0c2fca8aa0e6cfffa1f31d2df6c21b75
RFK JR on Hantavirus: We're not worried about it. American Passengers Exposed Land in U.S. Body of an American soldier missing in Morocco recovered. Iran is the worst ceasefire in history — announced, broken, and now on “life support” — and two-thirds of the country wants no part of this forever war. Paul Rieckhoff opens Episode 519 with a no-BS read on what happens when an administration runs all gas, no brakes into a third month of bombing: gas prices stay punishingly high, the Strait of Hormuz stays closed, and the Chinese sit back and smile as 41% of our Navy is tied down outside Iran. Now Trump is heading to Beijing for a trade fight with Xi, with Tim Cook and possibly Elon Musk in tow, while Taiwan quietly slides onto the table. From there it's a quick-fire briefing across the stories the cable nets are letting fall below the radar — ICE pulling a gun on a New York City teenager and dumping him bloodied across town, another lethal kinetic strike on an alleged drug boat off Venezuela with no accounting for the survivor, the loss of First Lieutenant Lamont Key Jr. during the African Lion exercise off Morocco, hantavirus quarantines at the only federally funded unit we have left, and a Russian Victory Day parade visibly hollowed out by Ukrainian drone pressure. Paul closes with Manosphere Monday's artist of the week — Ice-T, Army veteran and free-speech warrior — a Mother's Day salute to NYPD ESU officers who pulled a woman back from a Brooklyn ledge, and a reminder that the independent movement is the oxygen of this democracy. -WATCH full video of this episode here. -Check out Paul on Piers Morgan Uncensored. -Join IVA and stand up to Trump's Forever Wars. -Learn more about Paul's work to elect a new generation of independent leaders with Independent Veterans of America. -Learn more about American Veterans for Ukraine here. -Remember Independent is an Attitude. -Learn more about The Headstrong Project for Veterans, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), and Department of Veterans Affairs resources in your area.
Join Lionel on "The Other Side of Midnight" for a fast-paced, late-night ride through the cultural zeitgeist. In this eclectic episode, Lionel and his callers dive into the nostalgia of the Dewey Decimal system and analog records, debate the money-driven evolution of gangster rap from NWA to Death Row Records, and dissect the meticulous forensic timelines of the OJ Simpson trial and the JFK assassination. Wrapping up with a fiery take on the absurd history of music censorship and the "forbidden fruit" effect—covering everything from the FBI's investigation of "Louie Louie" to the PMRC and Ice-T's "Cop Killer"—this episode proves that no idea is too controversial to explore.

"I'll take it from you, homie, you'll see, cause you know the Leprechaun is the real O.G."The Horror Bulls roll up with Leprechaun in the Hood (2000), the sequel where the franchise fully abandons logic and leans into pure chaotic energy. Rap battles, magic weed, Ice-T, and Warwick Davis absolutely going for it — we break down whether this is dumb fun or completely unhinged nonsense.
Organizace Neposeda z. ú., výzkumný tým z Katedry sociální práce Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy a Národního centra sociálních studií vybrali v rámci projektu New Leaf 40 lidí bez domova, kterým dali 100 tisíc korun a sledovali, jak s tím během dvanácti měsíců naloží. A jakou roli by v tom mohl mít stát? Ve středeční epizodě odpovídá vedoucí výzkumného týmu Melanie Zajacová z Katedry sociální práce FF UK.

Two-time GRAMMY and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee Rich Robinson joins us to chat about his songwriting with The Black Crowes. PART ONE Paul and Scott talk about their deep Black Crowes history that goes all the way back to high school. Then they revert to their high school selves and try to make each other laugh by proposing ridiculous imaginary partnerships between artists and restaurant chains (think Michael McDonald's or Ice-T.G.I. Fridays).PART TWO Our in-depth conversation with Rich Robinson of The Black CrowesABOUT RICH ROBINSON Rich Robinson is best known as the founding guitarist and one of the two primary songwriters of The Black Crowes alongside his brother Chris. Formed in Atlanta, the band's 1990 debut album $hake Your Money Maker produced the successful singles “Jealous Again,” “She Talks to Angels,” “Seeing Things,” and a wildly popular cover of Otis Redding's “Hard to Handle.” The album earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and was eventually certified five-times platinum. The multi-platinum follow-up, The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, debuted at number one on the Billboard album chart and yielded four consecutive chart-topping rock singles with “Remedy,” “Sting Me,” “Thorn in My Pride,” “and “Hotel Illness.” Subsequent releases such as Amorica, By Your Side, Lions, and Warpaint explored new sonic territory while remaining rooted in the quintessential Black Crowes aesthetic. In total, the band has released eleven studio albums, with 2024's Happiness Bastards, breaking a more than decade-long recording hiatus and earning the band another Grammy nomination. Over more than three decades of volatility, breakups, lineup shifts, and offstage drama, the Black Crowes are still making pure rock & roll at the highest level. Their latest album, A Pound of Feathers, was recently released, and they are among the nominees for potential induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the class of 2026. It's the late 1980's, the crack cocaine epidemic has hit New York City, and one rising drug kingpin is taking over the market - his hame is Nine Brown and he's played Wesley Snipes in what would be his breakout performance. On his trail and trying to stop him is NYPD Detective Scotty Appleton played by Ice-T in what would be his first major on-screen perfomance. And what results is a violent war to win the city in this heightened crime drama directed by Mario Van Peebles (Posse, Panther) who also co-stars among a stacked cast including Allen Payne, Judd Nelson, Bill Nunn, Vanessa Williams, Bill Cobb, and Chris Rock in an unforgettable performance as Pookie, a recovering crack addict who Scotty takes under his wing. This film was a suprise box office hit upon release also featuring a very popular soundtrack with songs by Color Me Badd, Queen Latifah, Levert, and Keith Sweat among several others. This week, your favorite horror gremlins go on a full-blown Rutger Hauer appreciation spiral and collectively realize that Rutger Hauer might not have been acting—he might have just been like that.We dive headfirst into The Hitcher (1986), directed by Robert Harmon, a movie that wastes absolutely zero time politely introducing itself before immediately threatening your entire family. Rutger Hauer plays John Ryder like a supernatural force powered by desert heat, bad vibes, and pure “I woke up and chose violence.” We scream about the opening minutes, the lack of motivation (KING SHIT), the daytime horror, the infamous truck scene, and how this movie somehow convinces you thatthe cops are useless, the road is evil, and hitchhiking is basically consenting to a curse. Then we pivot into Surviving the Game (1994), directed by Ernest R. Dickerson, aka The Most Unhinged Rich White People Activity Ever Filmed. The legend that is Ice-T takes on Rutger Hauer, Gary Busey (at MAXIMUM Gary Busey), John C. McGinley, and F. Murray Abraham after they form the most deranged hunting party imaginable. We lose our minds over:Gary Busey writing his own monologue like a cursed prophet The flaming Gary Busey jump scare (cinema peaked here) Ice-T being hunted and immediately becoming an apex predator and deciding "nah, actually, I'm hunting YOU" A trophy room that traumatized us as children and still kinda does To complete the holy trinity, we bring in Hobo with a Shotgun (2011), directed by Jason Eisener, where Rutger Hauer plays a homeless vigilante like he's a mythological figure spawned from grindhouse fumes and righteous rage. We talk about how this movie feels like a fever dream someone had after watching too much VHS-era exploitation and how Rutger Hauer somehow makes “hobo with a shotgun” feel emotionally profound.Throughout the episode we: Argue about VHS vs 4K like it's a religion Praise Rutger Hauer for playing three completely different psychos flawlessly Accidently turn the podcast into Sam Elliott's Mustache: The Extended Cut Realize half these movies would absolutely rule even harder if they were slightly grainier and worse quality Agree that Rutger Hauer is one of the most underrated genre actors of all time This is less a review episode and more a group therapy session for people permanently altered by desert highways, human hunting games, and shotgun blasts. In this episode, we break down the biggest entertainment and pop-culture stories of the week, including: • Netflix's upcoming four-part documentary on Sean Combs, executive-produced by 50 Cent, which explores Combs' rise, the abuse allegations against him, and how those accusations led to his current prison sentence. • Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker's divorce, why their 11-year marriage ended, and how the long-discussed prenup is shaping the split. • New drama involving Offset, Stefon Diggs, and Cardi B, including leaked messages from an IG model and Offset's team denying the claims. • Tara Reid's frightening hospitalization after she believes her drink was spiked at a hotel bar. • Ice-T explaining why he's been missing from several SVU episodes, confirming it's due to budget changes—not because he's leaving the show. • Critics Choice Awards shortlists, with “Sinners” leading all films across technical categories. • A funny list of Thanksgiving do's and don'ts, including not showing up empty-handed, not bringing uninvited guests, and not pre-packing leftovers. • A rundown of the 12 most-loved Thanksgiving dishes, from turkey and stuffing to mac & cheese and pecan pie. • A full reunion breakdown of Married at First Sight Season 19, where all five couples who stayed married on Decision Day ended up divorced 18 months later—each for very different reasons.
“The flute makes it good” - Chris, on the music the actors perform On this week's episode, the 2025 Halloween Spooktacular comes to a close as we invite our buds, Chelsea Rebecca and James A. Janisse from Dead Meat, to chat about the 2000, direct-to-video, horror sequel, Leprechaun in the Hood! How hilarious are the first five minutes of this movie? Why didn't the filmmakers realize they needed to have Ice-T in every scene? Why don't these guys just high-tail it to Vegas immediately after shooting Mack Daddy? How hard was it for this production to make the film feature length? And who among us wouldn't want to hit a spliff with the Leprechaun? PLUS: How are we not disposing of the Leprechaun like we did Osama bin Laden? Leprechaun in the Hood stars Warick Davis, Anthony Montgomery, Rashaan Nall, Red Grant, Dan Martin, Lobo Sebastian, Ivory Ocean, Jack Ong, Bebe Drake, and the legendary Ice-T as Mack Daddy; directed by Rob Spera.
