There is growing concern around the post-service health of veterans and first responders as it's easy to fall into destructive patterns when liberated from the forced discipline of being in active duty. Today we are joined by John New, an Army veteran and serial entrepreneur who's made it his life's purpose to help curate healthier life habits for former service members.  We begin with John's background as he explains who he is, and what he does before learning about CYTO (previously The Hub), and what the organization hopes to achieve. Then, we compare remote work to in-office obligations, the ins and outs of the 98 Octane veteran program, how to avoid falling victim to consumer marketing, and how to connect with John and his work.  To end, our guest details the leadership lessons that have stuck with him in his career, the books he'd recommend in a heartbeat, why he'd love to have dinner with Mother Theresa, and his final words of encouragement for starting a group of healthy-living individuals. Key Points From This Episode:•   John New describes who he is, what he does, and how he got into the work he does today.•   Understanding what happened to The Hub and why it downsized and rebranded to CYTO.•   The ins and outs of WorkMerk. •   Unpacking the 98 Octane movement that helps veterans and first responders live healthier lives. •   How to get involved with 98 Octane and John's mission. •   John's advice for building a cohort centered on healthier living. Quotes:“At times, [I have] an abnormally high appetite for risk.” — John New  “My life's calling is a movement to help a million fellow veterans and first responders live healthier lives.” — John New “You need to be committed. Most people think long-term travel is out of reach, but what if the biggest obstacle is just figuring out how to make it happen? Nesha Pai always dreamed of living in Paris, but for years, life got in the way—work, family, responsibilities. Sound familiar? In this episode, she shares how she stopped waiting for the perfect time and started creating a plan. She breaks down the practical steps that turned her three-month stay in Paris into reality, from building a remote business to shifting financial priorities and setting a clear budget. Nesha also introduces the dream map, a tool designed to help you get clear on your goals, take meaningful action, and stay focused. Whether your dream is Paris or something completely different, this episode will challenge you to ask: What small steps can I take today to move closer to the life I want? Quotes “At one point, I even had a passport that expired with zero stamps in it. Zero. It was just sadly sitting there waiting for a life that I wasn't living yet.” (02:43 | Nesha Pai) “I got to experience Paris as an adult, traveling the way I wanted to. No budget student version, no chaperone duties, just me, fully present in a city I adored.” (04:51 | Nesha Pai) “If you want to live somewhere else, even part-time, you have to find a way to make money that isn't tied to one location.” (05:51 | Nesha Pai) “I'm not a billionaire. I'm not someone who just gets to live a jet-set lifestyle without a care in the world. I planned for this. In this episode of Integrative You Radio, we dive deep into the growing trend of restrictive diets and their unexpected consequences, particularly when it comes to mental and physical health. From the paleo and autoimmune paleo movements to the recent surge in "ancestral living" diets, the episode explores how these popular trends, though rooted in a desire for better health, often contribute to toxic overload in the liver and body. Dr. Nicole shares personal insights, reflecting on how shifting away from such extremes can lead to better long-term wellness, both physically and mentally. Discover why the key to health may not be in following the latest diet fad, but in returning to simplicity and balance. As the episode continues, it draws comparisons between the culture of food in the U.S. and Italy, highlighting the stark differences in diet quality, accessibility, and the stress of food-related choices. In Italy, the notion of "ancestral living" isn't just a trend, but a way of life, with food grown locally and prepared simply. The contrast to the U.S. diet, dominated by convenience foods and processed ingredients, is stark and tells a bigger story of how our food systems contribute to the chronic health crises we face today. Tune in to learn practical tips on how to break free from food overwhelm and make conscious choices that support your health and well-being. What you'll learn:     Trend Diets Can Cause Mental and Physical Stress: Restrictive diets like paleo and autoimmune paleo may create more health issues than they solve, leading to mental toxicity and confusion about food. Quality and Simplicity Matter More Than Extremes: In Italy, the focus is on eating locally sourced, simple, and minimally processed foods, which supports long-term health without overthinking every meal. Convenience Foods Contribute to Chronic Illness: The accessibility of cheap, processed foods in the U.S. contributes to obesity and health problems, making it difficult for people to make healthier food choices.  Quotes:  "At the end of the day, it's not about subscribing to a specific diet trend; it's about understanding how to nourish your body with real, whole foods and making conscious choices that support your health."- Dr. Nicole "Food is not food anymore; it's become so chemically manipulated that we've lost touch with what truly nourishes our bodies."- Dr. Nicole Find Integrative You Radio On: Website Youtube  Apple Spotify Curious about Integrative You? This week we welcome back a treasured friend of this show, renowned design guru and the heartbeat of the Fab Five, Bobby Berk!  It's been four years since we last talked to Bobby so we have a lot of ground to cover in this episode.  Bobby tells us about the designers like Michael Graves and Isaac Mizrahi who he drew inspiration from early in his career. He tells stories about his humble beginnings with retail gigs at stores like Bed Bath & Beyond and Restoration Hardware – maybe part of what makes him so relatable? – and how his career as a designer blossomed from there. And with the holidays upon us, we also take the opportunity to ask Bobby about how he celebrates (or survives) the holidays. He offers some great insights on instituting some personal boundaries to maintain sanity that are not too late to put into rotation this year. *** Thought-provoking Quotes: “At my grandparents' A-frame cabin in Colorado, every square inch was red, and I mean R-E-D shag carpet and it looked like a whole gaggle of muppets laying on the ground….and I think I liked it. I remember laying on the ground threading my fingers through the carpet.” – Jen Hatmaker “I loved going to my friends houses where it was just cool and calm and nothing to look at. But honestly that's not what I'm drawn to anyway. My house looks like a rainbow exploded. I have a kelly green velvet couch, a gallery wall that has every single color. I've got some bat shit wallpaper going on. I've decorated it like I've never seen the color gray.” – Amy Hardin “I'm drawn to spaces that have life in them, I like color – I like it when a room is even outrageous. Whether or not I would exactly do that thing, I think, ‘I like where your head is at'”. – Jen Hatmaker “You're the CEO of your own instincts and design and if you love it, it's going to work.” – Bobby Berk Resources Mentioned in This Episode: Queer Eye for the Straight Guy - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queer_Eye_(2003_TV_series) Queer Eye - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queer_Eye_(2018_TV_series) Queer Eye on Netflix - https://www.netflix.com/title/80160037 Series 26: Episode 02: Queer Eye's Bobby Berk on the Fire Inside Us All - https://jenhatmaker.com/podcasts/series-26/queer-eyes-bobby-berk-and-the-fire-inside-us-all/ BobbyBerk.com - https://bobbyberk.com/ Right at Home: How Good Design Is Good for the Mind: An Interior Design Book by Bobby Berk - https://amzn.to/3A7TjXT When Jen met Bobby in Mexico - https://www.instagram.com/p/B5HMYkUASvc/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==  Tripointe Homes Style Finder Quiz - https://bobby-berk.tripointehomes.com/style-finder/ Michael Graves - https://michaelgraves.com/ Michael Graves Target  Collaboration - https://michaelgraves.com/product/target-products/ Isaac Mizrahi Target Collaboration - https://www.target.com/b/isaac-mizrahi/-/N-s73qo Jen's master bathroom remodel - https://www.instagram.com/p/DB38zmHOrYU/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Bobby at the 76th Emmy's - https://www.instagram.com/p/C__NYm2yz8G/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== RuPaul's Drag Race - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1353056/ Celebrity Holiday Homes on HGTV - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1519269/ Guest's Links: Bobby's website - https://bobbyberk.com/ Bobby's Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/bobby/ Bobby's Twitter - https://x.com/bobbyberk Bobby's Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/BobbyBerkOfficial Bobby's TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@bobby Bobby's Pinterest - https://www.pinterest.com/bobbyberk/  Connect with Jen! 344 Evolving Stories Returning for his second episode, Tom Jackobs and Sarah Elkins discuss how storytelling has changed for both of them since their last conversation, how their tools and strategies have changed, as well as how important storytelling is as a medium for both of them.    Highlights It is okay to look for coaches, especially when you yourself are a coach. Find your own strategies and tools for writing and working. You can be good at things and not be the best at them.    Quotes “At least I started writing, because that is the hardest part.” “I'm not a chef, but I'm a good cook.” “We need the ones that are going to slow us down and make decisions better.”   Dear Listeners it is now your turn, You've listened to this whole conversation about how Tom started his book, how he wrote his book, why he wrote his book, why he started his podcast, and some of the challenges he experienced in that time. What is something you want to take on that you've been considering for a long time that you are now ready for that maybe you weren't ready for a year ago or five years ago. What will be your first step? Are you the kind of person that needs a template to get started or are you a person that looks at a blank page and gets inspired? And, as always, thank you for listening.    About Tom I am a Coach of Fitness Health, Entrepreneur, Public Speaker, Improving Sales, Customer Service. Be sure to check out Tom's LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram! As well as his podcast on Spotify and Apple podcast!   About Sarah "Uncovering the right stories for the right audiences so executives, leaders, public speakers, and job seekers can clearly and actively demonstrate their character, values, and vision." In my work with coaching clients, I guide people to improve their communication using storytelling as the foundation of our work together. What I've realized over years of coaching and podcasting is that the majority of people don't realize the impact of the stories they share - on their internal messages, and on the people they're sharing them with. My work with leaders and people who aspire to be leaders follows a similar path to the interviews on my podcast, uncovering pivotal moments in their lives and learning how to share them to connect more authentically with others, to make their presentations and speaking more engaging, to reveal patterns that have kept them stuck or moved them forward, and to improve their relationships at work and at home. The audiobook, Your Stories Don't Define You, How You Tell Them Will is now available! Included with your purchase are two bonus tracks, songs recorded by Sarah's band, Spare Change, in her living room in Montana. “At its very core, DEI work could mean some really good things for a lot of folks who simply haven't had the opportunities in the past,” says Rhonda Moret, a pioneering leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion. In this episode, Rhonda shares with Mike Horne her journey from a first-generation college graduate to a top communications strategist for brands like Universal and Nike Golf. She discusses founding Elevated Diversity to help leaders develop impactful DEI strategies.   Rhonda highlights the evolution of DEI to include accessibility and belonging, stressing the importance of creating inclusive workplaces. She addresses the polarization in the U.S. and the need for organizations to adapt their DEI efforts. Younger generations, she notes, are crucial in advancing DEI due to their strong inclusivity mindset.   This episode challenges leaders to rethink their approach to inclusivity, emphasizing that the future of business depends on embracing diversity and equity. Rhonda's insights demonstrate how proactive DEI efforts can drive growth and innovation, underscoring the essential role of diverse voices in shaping a more equitable workplace.   Quotes “At its very core, DEI work could mean some really good things for a lot of folks who simply haven't had the opportunities in the past. That's my personal take on it. But from a professional vantage point, I see it as being the next evolution.” (05:12 | Rhonda Moret) “It's always been about ‘How do we connect people?' It's not like, ‘Oh, we want to give this group this and provide that group this other benefit.' No, it's ‘How do we create a much more equitable and inclusive workplace?' And somewhere along the way, we kind of got off track.” (11:56 | Rhonda Moret) “How do we make sure that as leaders, we are prepared to lead a workforce that may look different than I do or may look different than the person next door? Those leaders need to be inclusive leaders and have the skills and the competency to be able to be effective in that role.” (14:39 | Rhonda Moret)  “Diversity is not simply along color lines and a black-white issue, but it covers all of us. So, whether we're women, whether we're an older demographic, so on and so forth. So, it really is looking at the totality of these diversity dimensions and finding ways to accommodate people to your point so that they feel like they can show up authentically at the workplace and be prepared to do their best work.” (21:55 | Rhonda Moret)    Links Learn more about Mike Horne on Linkedin Email Mike at mike@mike-horne.com Learn More About Executive and Organization Development with Mike Horne Twitter: https://twitter.com/mikehorneauthor  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mikehorneauthor/,  LinkedIn Mike's Newsletter: https://www.linkedin.com/newsletters/6867258581922799617/,  Schedule a Discovery Call with Mike: https://calendly.com/mikehorne/15-minute-discovery-call-with-mike     Learn more about Rhonda Moret: https://elevateddiversity.com/  https://www.linkedin.com/in/rhondamoret/     Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm

He discusses the screening procedure he uses before clearing clients for facilitated 5-MeO-DMT experiences to ensure safety as much as possible when working with this powerful psychedelic. Steve also talks about how he tailors his work with clients based on the state of their nervous system and their unique personality. In closing, Steve emphasizes the somatic quality of 5-MeO-DMT experiences, sharing different types of experiences people typically have on the medicine and how these can best be integrated.   In this episode you'll hear: Preparation for safe and effective 5-MeO-DMT experiences Stories of transformation following 5-MeO-DMT healing for PTSD and focused integration practices How common 5-MeO-DMT reactivations are, and when they typically happen Issues of spiritual bypassing in underground psychedelic facilitation How to navigate informed consent in the context of facilitating psychedelic experiences   Quotes: “At the peak of the 5-MeO experience, there is no mind… When people talk about the death and the rebirth experience with 5-MeO, what we're really talking about is relaxing and essentially dissolving the ego entirely so there is no experience of ‘you' in the experience—you become one with the experience. But… what's possible there is that we then access the nervous system and we see these very dramatic energetic releases and people often are physically reliving traumatic experiences and physically releasing the fight, flight, freeze response that may have happened or not happened.” [6:52] “Trauma is complex and for some people it's not that simple. For some people, they go through a six- to twelve-month process after 5-MeO-DMT that is really challenging.” [22:37] “So [we're] helping people… build sensitivity in their nervous system—reconnect with sensitivity and slowing things down and building more awareness and learning how to notice their emotions as sensations in the body before they become thought patterns.”  [32:00] “I think one of the challenges in all of this is that people will lie to you to get to your experience because they're desperate for the healing. And you have to be really careful about the conversations you have and asking open-ended questions and really listening to your intuition—and really being grounded in that.” [40:28]  “What we're doing here I would say there's obviously a psychological component to it, but often that happens in the weeks and months afterwards. What's happening here is a much more somatic experience and it can be very confusing and challenging for the mind of a person… you've paid all this money, you've prepared for weeks and months, you've been thinking about it, you come have this experience… Right after the ceremony for some people, the thought is ‘what just happened?' and ‘did anything happen?' and ‘did it work?' because there's very rarely like an immediate insight on ‘here's how you're going to make your life better'—that's not what comes out of this experience. What comes out of this experience is a dramatic shift in how your body feels and often people will report feeling emotionally lighter or that they lost ten pounds. It's hard to explain, but the way peoples' eyes light up the day after the ceremony is so different—like they often just look different coming in and leaving.” [42:56]   Links: Enfold Website Enfold on Instagram Enfold on YouTube Still In It: 5-MeO-DMT Stories Previous episode: Psychedelic Therapy: Slow Down to Heal Faster with Sunny Strasburg, LMFT Previous episode: Psychedelic Adjunct Series: Somatic Therapy with Jenna Valentine, DACM, LAc Previous episode: Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for Accelerated Growth with Nick Brüss, EdD, LMFT Previous episode: When *Not* to Proceed with a Planned Psychedelic Journey with Rick Barnett, PsyD Psychedelic Medicine Association Porangui

319 Cultures, Conversations, and Community   The beauty of humanity is that we all share different cultures, from the differences in our food to whether we take our shoes off in the house, culture shapes how we interact with our community and our career which is why it is vital we have conversations about culture, so that we may find our community, teach others, and learn about another person's beliefs and values, in doing so we will all be stronger together as a community. In this episode Sarah Elkins and Kevin Hamm discuss the importance of community, culture, and the conversations that need to happen in order for us all to have a better understanding and respect for one another. Kevin offers valuable insight, intelligent conversation, and a healthy dose of humor, approaching this difficult topic with humanity and dignity.    Highlights A love for new and exciting things starts early and fosters growth and admiration for other cultures and ideas. What memories from your past impact your decisions to this day? Everyone sees the world through different lenses, be sure to encourage the growth and curiosity to see outside of your current lens.  Being yourself is vital to your survival and to being able to thrive as a human being. Fostering community through compassion and pride. Making sure the whole world knows you and your community exist.  Understand the cultural differences between yourself and other places, and understand that these differences can foster growth and connection between yourself and those of a different culture.  What access to other cultures do you have in your own community that you can explore right now. Ask questions! There is no harm in wanting to know more.   Quotes “At the time Governor Schwinden- I think it was Governor Schwinden, God I hope it was Governor Schwinden. Had just started the Sister State program with Kumamoto in Japan and so I joined a choir and discovered my love of sushi because we ended up going to Japan when I was a kid. And it's really fun to think about being an ambassador for the state of Montana going over when you're 12 years old or 11 years old, however old I was. Going over and being in front of the aristocracy, the Imperial Family, and all that in Japan, you know performing and being a soloist and homestays and meeting all these people, and having this incredibly intense, delightful introduction to how vast and different our world is, how diverse things are. When you're a kid and finding out some of those things that are common in other cultures we never even hear of, like at the time we didn't have a sushi restaurant in the state of Montana.” “The truth of the matter is I found a thriving and robust queer community up there as well and it was really interesting to see that this community that I knew existed in major metropolitan areas because Portland and Phoenix had given me that, also exists in these little tiny towns where people on a regular basis are like, “I'm going to move to the big city because I can't be here!” and then they move away. But there were some that were still there and wanted to live there and really loved it, and that was part of the realization that I was like, “Oh my community, the queer community, crosses every other boundary, whether it's racial or societal or economic, we're everywhere. And because we are everywhere we have community everywhere.” And that took me a little bit to figure out, but once I figured it out I was like “Oh I can move back to Montana because my community exists!”.” “It's not only that you don't want to be insulting in a lot of cases. I don't know that it would be insulting. They would just look at you like, “Oh you're not trying to be like us.” And I want to try to be like them. When I'm on their lands, in their place, in their house, I want to fit in, I want to belong, I don't just want to be there.” “The one thing I would tell anybody going into a new culture is don't be afraid to ask everything, ask the question that seems a little weird that you're like, “Oh I can't ask that.” You absolutely can.”   Dear Listeners it is now your turn, Are you going to go explore a culture that you haven't explored before as a result of hearing this conversation? I know I'm going to and it could be just down the street, I have friends who own a Cuban restaurant here in town they are originally from Cuba. I have met them, I've spent time with them, but I'm not sure I explored their culture quite enough yet. I could even go to one of the upcoming Pow Wow adventures, I would love to do that with one of my friends from the tribes. I'm going to do that this year and I hope Listeners that you will find a culture you're not familiar with, somewhere within a few hours of your home and go explore it. Your mind and your heart will be better for it.  And, as always, thank you for listening.    About Kevin Kevin Hamm, 50, is a small business owner, battle-tested community organizer, fearless activist, and lifelong advocate for the rights and dignity of all Montanans. He has had the privilege of calling Montana his home state from the age of five; that's 45 years, for anyone counting. Armed with an appreciation for the importance of community investment that can only come from a childhood in a rural state, Kevin has spent his adult life investing in ways to give back to the place that built him. He has served on the boards of Queen City Ballet and Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, and founded the Happiness & Joy Foundation, a 501(c)3 that puts on Montana Pride — Montana's statewide Pride celebration, which Kevin has run for the last nine years. In addition to his deep commitment to community investment, Kevin is a skilled businessman with a strong track record in tapping into economic potential. Through his marketing work, he assisted in ATX's transition from a $5 million company to a $20 million company and later capitalized on the skills he learned there to start two small businesses from scratch that continue to thrive today. Through Studio 19, his first company founded in 2010, he took on the responsibility of managing live production for the athletics departments at all Frontier Conference schools in the state; he continues to work with Carroll College leading their stream team to this day. By 2018, his reputation as a skilled problem solver had grown his customer base to such a degree that he was able to start Auxilyum, a second company that lightens the tech support load. Most importantly, though, Kevin's background is that of a typical working Montanan. He has firsthand experience doing the real work that powers our state as a matter of necessity, not just as a hobby or a means of making friends with the neighbors. He knows what it's like to sacrifice sleep working alongside good people in hot kitchens, and to give up sleeping entirely while turning a dream into a business. Kevin also knows this place in a way that everyone with a Montana childhood will understand; he grew up alongside people who valued character over politics, and formed lifelong friendships with people who disagreed with him on issues that might raise some people's hackles. He attended his first day of kindergarten on Four Georgians Elementary School's first day of operation, and found community in the halls of public schools and community theaters that gifted him with an education of which he is deeply proud. These experiences shaped Kevin into the man he is, but they are not unique to him — most Montanans will recognize these stories, and have their own versions to share. In Kevin, Montanans will find a candidate able to stand in a kind of solidarity shared only by those who know the value of hard work done on their own, without a trust fund to fall back on. So while he may not have unlimited funds with which to pay for billboards advertising his name or lobbyists on speed dial ready to pull strings on his behalf, Kevin does have something that matters more: a lifetime of solidarity with working Montanans, and decades of experience advocating for all of them in every way that he possibly can. In my work with coaching clients, I guide people to improve their communication using storytelling as the foundation of our work together. Do you know your numbers? In this episode, May Yeo Silvers takes listeners beyond the surface of basic profit and loss, into the heart of what truly determines a business's financial health. With insights grounded in her own entrepreneurial journey with M2 Hospitality and Events4Anyone, May opens up about the often-overlooked aspects of financial analysis that can spell the difference between growth and stagnation.   The essence of May's discussion lies in the critical examination of opening and closing balances, a simple yet profound indicator of a business's profitability over the year. But the journey doesn't stop at these balances; May delves deeper, examining the intricacies of expenses across various categories such as technology, labor, and marketing. It's not just about tracking where the money goes but understanding the return on these investments that illuminates the path to informed decision-making.   Turning the attention to revenue, May explains the importance of knowing not just how much you earn, but how and where from. This analysis isn't merely reflective but predictive, guiding where resources should be channeled in the future to maximize profitability.   The concept of working capital is demystified as May explains its role in ensuring operational liquidity. She brings practicality to the forefront, advising on how to calculate the necessary working capital to keep the business afloat during tough times.   May's narrative is interspersed with personal anecdotes of efficiency and cost-savings, like her strategic move to consolidate software platforms, showcasing how operational tweaks can lead to significant financial savings.   This episode stands as a testament to the power of financial literacy in the entrepreneurial journey. May doesn't just share a formula for analyzing business finances; she invites her listeners to adopt a mindset shift. By embracing a deeper understanding of their financials, entrepreneurs can unlock new levels of insight, leading to more strategic decisions, optimized profitability, and ultimately, a healthier business.   Quotes • “At the end of the year and at the beginning of the year, I always look at a few numbers and then I make business decisions based on what the numbers are telling me. Emotions come into play, of course, they are taken into consideration, but numbers don't lie.” (2:58 | May Silvers)  • “So let's just say that your opening balance is $20,000. The opening balance, $20,000, if you're a brand new business. Let's keep this simple. If you're a brand new business, $20,000 you put in at the beginning of the year as a working capital for your business. That means you don't have any revenue come in yet. And then at the end of the year, you can see that your closing balance is $30,000. So you're very happy that you have more money at the end of the year than the beginning of the year.” (5:19 | May Silvers) • “I also need to know where the revenue came from. So I start looking at, okay, I booked this event, and this event came from where? Who referred me the lead? Or Did it come from Facebook ads? Or did it come from my social media where, you know, people reach out to me based on the content that I created?” (10:00 | May Silvers) • “So before you go into thinking that, oh, you know what, just cut, cut, cut, save money. I also have to think about the efficiency of the business. doesn't make sense for me to have two separate platforms to do two separate things, whereas I can have a platform that can do it all. So it's not just the money, but also the efficiency of how the business is being run, because the efficiency will ultimately affect how profitable you are.” (19:59 | May Silvers)  • “My marketing strategy for 2024, is it going to require more working capital? If it's going to require more working capital, how much more? Is $20,000 enough? If $20,000 is enough, which is my working capital for 2023, okay, if $20,000 is sufficient based on the pipeline of the leads or sales that's coming in, so I know that there's more business coming into the business. I can actually take that $10,000 out and then put it in somewhere else where I can earn interest or invest.” (22:03 | May Silvers)   Links If you are looking for a software that allows you to book calls, automate your proposal, contract and invoicing process, project and funds management, HoneyBook, one of the most popular software used by the majority of event prof is for you! The Holy Spirit is bringing forth a level of pure worship unto the Lord through the refining process that we are experiencing. As our focus is stayed upon Him, everything that we are and do becomes that sweet incense of worship that is pleasing unto the Lord. Show Notes: We are entering into an age of Spirit. The Holy Spirit is moving through believers to bring forth a pure worship before the Lord. Worship can take the form of helping our brother in his need. Worship and be our intercession and prayer before God. God is purifying the spirits of His worshipers so that they can offer to Him a worship that is pleasing. A pure worship is purely unto the Lord. It's a thing of Spirit. Standing in His presence and just worshiping Him. God just wants us to spend time with Him. This is also a worship to Him. What ever we do through out our day can be a worship to God if our focus is on Him. Wholly and completely set upon Him, that release a deep loving worship from us to Him. Quotes: At the end of this whole Church Age, which is now, is a time when the Spirit of the Lord is bringing forth a pure worship unto the Lord. It's a thing of spirit, we get in the presence of the Lord. It's a form of blessing the Lord and ministering to Him, what's the Lord want, what's in His heart? Worship is also when you're walking down the street, and you decide to help your brother, because that's the thing that the Lord wants us to do is to help one another. You get to ultimately choose what you think is healthy for you, don't feel like you have to follow the plethora of information going around on social media. What works for one person doesn't work for everyone.●  Creating meal bars can be a great way to accommodate everything, such as a taco bar or a salad bar. Everyone gets to eat according to what they enjoy and they get to choose what's in it. ●  Do what works for you and your family and allow yourself to release the control of perfection. If everyone can't eat together every night, or you need to eat in a different way because someone has sports, that's ok. QUOTES: “At the end of the day, keeping things basic is the easiest way to do it.” - Kiran Dodeja Smith“Have stuff prepared, and that means at some point, I like to say over the weekend, you have to cut up some vegetables and fruits and just have them on hand, that's for adults and kids likewise, make it easy on them.” - Kiran Dodeja Smith“What works for you right now, it might not look the same next year, in 5 years, but do what's best for you in the moment.” - Kiran Dodeja Smith"Nobody's house is perfectly anything; we just think it is from what we see.” - Jenn TrepeckRESOURCES:Become A Member of Salad with a Side of FriesJenn's Free Menu PlanA Salad With a Side of FriesA Salad With A Side Of Fries MerchA Salad With a Side of Fries InstagramGUEST RESOURCESEasyRealFood Instagram EasyRealFood FacebookEasyRealFood Website100 Days of Real FoodGUEST BIO:Kiran Dodeja Smith is a health coach, blogger, and marketing expert who has been interested in health & fitness since the age of 16. Standing up for what you believe in can be tough sometimes. Many face challenges, doubts, and even personal attacks when they try to spread the truth, especially when it challenges the narrative. However, just as soldiers on a battlefield face adversity, so do those who fight for a better future. They do so with resilience, determination, and a vision for positive change. Despite the hurdles, the power of truth and hope remains strong, reminding us of the importance of perseverance and unity in our shared journey.  Today, we are re-releasing Dr. Ben Tapper's episode.  Dr. Tapper is a conservative warrior and chiropractor from Omaha, Nebraska, who discusses the challenges he faces in the pursuit of his truth.  He aims to inform people of the importance of standing up for what you believe in and always believing that tough times lead to better times. Don't miss this exciting episode of the Future Generations with your host, Dr Stanton Hom!   Quotes: “At this stage in the game, knowing what we know now, if you stay silent, you're choosing the side of the oppressor.” – Dr Ben Tapper “Your body's ability to overcome disease is far greater than anyone's ever permitted you to believe. You are healthy until proven sick, not sick until proven healthy.” – Dr Ben Tapper “Hope is a powerful drug. We need to be optimistic and look forward towards the future, even amidst the doom and gloom.” – Dr Ben Tapper Key Takeaways: Complacency and conformity can be more dangerous than outright cowardice. It's essential to be proactive in standing up for your beliefs.  Cherish the wisdom of past generations; it can provide insights and knowledge that modern society might overlook.  Fear can be more harmful than the disease itself. Don't let it cloud your judgment or prevent you from seeing the truth. Remember, fear often manipulates the narrative. Growth demands discomfort. Whether in personal development, physical fitness, or societal change, to progress and evolve, you must face challenges head-on. Embrace gratitude. Even when faced with countless negative situations, always try to find something to be thankful for. A grateful heart can transform your perspective and uplift your spirit. Highlights/Timeline: [12:23] – How was Dr. Ben inspired to speak about vaccines? As you walk through your life journey, many people will say something to you no matter what you do. Friends and even your own family can say opinions that bring you down, which can hinder the path we want to take. You are young, and you might think you should listen to what everyone says. But listening to the opinions they want you to make will affect the joy in your life and may leave you regrets towards your choices. Brad Lea shares his life experiences of how he was thrown out of the house and single-handedly managed his life at the age of 16 and how he got a job selling cars that became his gateway to sales. Tune in as Brad Lea discusses why you should not listen to every opinion others say to you, the secret formula to being successful in life, and why watching successful people will enable you to get what you want. Quotes: “At the end of the day, when someone has an opinion of you, note it if you want to, but don't make your decisions based on someone else's idea of what they think you need. Go worry about what you think you need. ” –  Brad Lea “We're all a salesperson.  It's just the difference between a good salesperson and a bad one is the good one knows they're doing it, and the bad one does not.” – Brad Lea “If you watch what other people do, nine times out of ten, if you emulate what they do, you'll get what they got. ” – Brad Lea Takeaways: Sales is a skill, and so it can be learned. You don't have to be anything specific to do it. Some people are naturally gifted in sales, but even those not inclined in sales can excel. It just takes them longer. To succeed in life, you need to focus on these three things: health, money, and relationships. Money is essential, especially if you want to be healthy. But to gain money, you need to build strong relationships with other people. Focus on cycling these three; the key to enjoying life will be yours. If you see someone who is successful in whatever aspects of their life, and you desire to be like them, emulate them. Start finding out who they are, what they do daily, where they eat, and all other information about them to reach their standing. This will help you have the skills and habits towards success. Conclusion: You don't need to listen to every opinion that others give to you. Yes, there are good opinions that might help you, but there are also bad opinions that can stop you from doing what you want. So be smart, and evaluate first if the opinion given to you will be helpful or not. Ultimately, you are the one to decide and choose what you think you need to achieve your goal.

“I dove in head first and it was a sink or swim situation,” says Emilie Hoyt, founder of Lather, a true pioneer in the clean beauty space now in its 23rd year. From a young age, Emilie dealt with migraines brought on by synthetic scents in soaps and cosmetics. So she set about creating her own alternatives. Here she speaks to other women in business about what it was like to create an independent venture when heavy hitters like L'oreal were dominating the beauty business. She talks about running things by herself before she had her team, discovering her strengths and weaknesses, her greatest regret and her biggest mistake that took her far too long to correct.   Like so many who start a business, there was a lot that Emilie didn't know but she was afraid to speak up. As Lauren and Priscilla always say, asking for help is a superpower, and Emilie concurs with examples. She also explains how much of success is saying yes, while also knowing when to quit and move on. She shares stories of the brand's early and unexpected champions, and some of the complications with creating different bestselling products.   The same synthetic fragrances which caused Emilie to seek alternative products remain in any number of everyday products. The fragrance industry is massively deregulated and protected and she warns about the dangers of fragrance, the effects of it on the body and what consumers can do to protect themselves. She also gives insight into Lather's next moves, including efforts toward sustainability.    Quotes “At that time in the late 90s, when I was starting Lather, independently owned-beauty was pretty much non-existent and the barrier to entry was enormous. Everything was really owned and controlled by Estee Lauder, L'Oreal, all of the bigger players. There wasn't an entry point…which has also dramatically changed for the better. (11:15-11:54 | Emilie) “Keep yourself open–there are a lot of paths to get to where you're going, to get to a point, and just never, ever give up.” (13:15-13:26 | Emilie)  “It has been 23 years and I'm still a small independently-owned company, so it's not overnight. It's…just realizing it's going to be a lot of very small steps.” (13:54-14:31 | Emilie) “Had I said, ‘No, we don't really do that,' or ‘We don't do that business or ‘No we just do consumer or whatever,' I don't think we would be around…if there's a way to still accomplish your goals and have a product of the quality that you're proud of and be able to serve a need, it can just lead to so many more things.” (18:39-19:15 | Emilie)  “The number one thing, if you do nothing else, do not put anything with the word fragrance on your body. Most alarmingly, those who stick by God's Word are now often viewed as evil, judgmental, and old-fashioned. Studies show that 70% of college aged children in the United States will walk away from their faith, and although many will return when they have their own families, around 30 to 35% will remain lost. Today, co-hosts Merrill and Linda Hutchinson discuss how to equip your children for the spiritual battles they will face throughout their lives, so that they know how to defend their faith and stand strong on the foundation of God's Word.It is no longer enough to rely on Church and Sunday School alone when training your children to have faith in God's Word. There is an active battle for your children's hearts and minds and it is important for parents to prepare themselves for questions and possibly even backlash about their spiritual beliefs. In the book Mama Bear Apologetics, there are ten steps outlined for parents to follow when laying a strong foundation of faith for their children. It is up to you as the parent to set a healthy example of what having a personal relationship with Christ looks like. Teach your children to seek the truth in God's word and to think critically when their faith is challenged. When you properly equip your kids to defend their faith, you give them the tools to live Godly lives and share the good news of God's love with the world.Quotes“At least 70% of students who go off to college or are college age will walk away from their faith as a Christian.” (6:03-6:11 | Linda)“As Christ followers, it's important that we band together and equip our kids for the culture war that we are in today.” (11:54-12:00 | Linda)“You're losing 30 to 35% of your total church population with every generation.” (14:05-14:11 | Linda)“Earlier and earlier our children are being confronted with very sweet sounding teachings which are lies and a very appealing worldview.” (25:34-25:43 | Linda)“The only way we can reverse some of these statistics is to recognize the lies for ourselves, and then help our kids recognize them.” (26:16-26:23 | Linda)“What we know is that when we go against God's way, God's nature, things don't work well.” (35:02-35:09 | Merrill)LinksYouTube: https://youtu.be/BkYLOoJl0oc. Strength training and cardiovascular activity don't have to be in competition with each other. However, strength training is a more effective method to reach your optimal body composition unless you're doing high-intensity cardio activities. Any movement is better than no movement, so it comes down to finding something you enjoy doing and building a consistent routine around it.   How to Lose Visceral Fat High-Intensity Interval Training Nutrition Strength training Understand your body type Fat storage patterns   Strength Training Builds Lean Muscle Mass Strength training is an essential part of achieving optimal body composition. While cardio works your overall aerobic health for the duration you're doing cardio activities, strength training builds your muscles after you've finished lifting weights. In this episode, I discuss how strength training builds lean muscle mass, leading to optimal body composition. By creating microtears in the muscles and then those muscles repairing, strength training builds stronger, leaner muscles.   Take Your First Step into Strength Training How much strength training you must do varies based on your goals, but you can see the benefits from as little as three weekly twenty-minute lifting sessions. This isn't to say you shouldn't do cardio. In fact, high-intensity interval training and high-intensity steady-state training will have similar long-term benefits to your muscles and contribute to your cardiovascular health. Knowing where to start might be daunting if you've never lifted weights before. This is where setting your baseline minimum exercise is important. I finish up this episode by talking about some of the other obstacles women may face when starting a strength training routine. How do you love to move your body? Start with the smallest amount that you're willing to do on a consistent basis. Let me know how you'll start moving your body in the comments on the episode page.   In This Episode  Whether strength or cardio training is better for optimal body composition [2:30] How much of our Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) comes from exercise [8:30] What promotes lean muscle mass [10:45] How strength training builds lean muscle mass [12:00] How much strength training it takes to start building lean muscle mass [16:00] The benefits of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) [18:00] How to set your baseline minimum exercise [23:00] Some of the obstacles women face when starting a strength training routine [29:00]   Quotes “At the end of the day, we just care that you move. Whether it's strength training or cardio, at the end of the day, just move.” [11:33] “The way I like to talk about strength training versus cardio is that, in the moment, cardio burns some calories. It does. But then, when you're done with the cardio, you're done burning calories.” [14:06] “Research and science show that High-Intensity Interval Training is going to be the most effective for a decrease in visceral fat. That's the fat that we can see.” [21:25] “While strength training is more of the investment, you still can get some good quality work in with just cardio if you're using the strategies of High-Intensity Interval and High-Intensity Steady-State.” [28:16] “The strength training is going to be the more optimal approach, and the ‘work smarter, not harder' strategy to optimal body composition. There is a place for strength training, and there is a place for cardiovascular exercise. The idea is finding the minimum amount of all the things that you can sustain long-term to get the results that you really want.” [35:08]   Resources Mentioned Learn About the Fit Dad Collective Join Transform Check out the full episode page here Find Life Coaching for Women Physicians Online Follow Dr. Ali Novitsky on Facebook | Instagram | YouTube Subscribe to Life Coaching for Women Physicians on Apple Podcasts Podcast production by the team at Counterweight Creative   Related Episodes  Episode 157: Fitness Talk with Dr. Alex Stewart  Episode 158: Transform Together with Dr. Mark Novitsky  Episode 152: Beauty in Strength with Becca Failla

With today's guest, we are diving into the behind-the-scenes of bringing your partner into your business. This is something so many of you have asked me about, so Zara Watson-Young is here to share her experience of welcoming her husband into her legal business. We talk everything from letting go of full control to making sure you have your legal ducks in a row (because even with your partner, contracts are key!) If you've been wondering about bringing in your partner, this is a must-listen.   Zara Watson-Young knows how frustrating it can be to try and fit your career in a box while marching to the beat of your own drum. That's exactly what led her to close the door on a thriving corporate legal career in order to pursue what truly encompassed all the skills and ambition in her wheelhouse: serving people like you. Zara has served entrepreneurs since 2017, always driven to empower and equip fellow dreamers with tangible legal tools to scale confidently. Along the way, she co-founded Watson & Young with her husband, Sean. She's here to walk with you every step of the entrepreneurial path because she has traveled this path, too. Zara knows it's far less intimidating when you have a partner who knows what's around the bend!     In this episode, we cover… Handling the legal side of bringing your partner into your business What may shift in your business with this change The process of letting go of full control The role of communication in a business partnership Making decisions together as a united front   Quotes "At the end of the day, knowing who you are, knowing your strengths, each other's strengths. You may not be good at client facing tasks but maybe you're better at the operational side. Just knowing what strengths each person will have and also just remembering that these things are developed over time... You'll gain clarity over time."   "The biggest mistake is thinking that you can wait to do legal - to make sure you have all your legal ducks in a row... The legal side is literally the foundation."   "If it doesn't align for both of us, I'm not going to proceed... “This show is just about you and me being assholes,” says Kelly about the latest episode of ‘Dance Moms,' where the girls prepare for and perform in Abby's annual recital, which Kelly and Christi both admit is incredible. Less incredible is the girls' ability to dance hip-hop, and since Paige's foot is still broken she has to figure out how to dance from the waist up. Abby brings Payton in to join the “Light My Fire” group number, which means Leslie is back and lashing out at everyone. She tells Kelly she needs to be in both therapy and AA. Knowing she is being set up by producers to look like a fool yet again, Kelly storms out and Christi curses at producers in her defense. She is also put in charge of gathering together the ALDC alumnae class of 1985, even though most of Abby's former students want nothing to do with her. She also has to throw a party in which Cathy crashes and tries to steal one of Abby's potential new students. The more fun task was playing guest bartender with Christi at a local club and seeing Jill get wild with patrons. Holly, of course, refused to step behind the bar. Since this was the first recital since the show had aired, the audience was suddenly packed with adoring fans. Christi describes the feeling of hearing everyone go wild for the girls when they took the stage for their first number. She also explains why for years, she found countless pairs of underwear under the seats of her car. Quotes“At this point ‘Dance Moms' had been airing. So if any of Abby's alumni wanted to be found they would have crawled out of the woodwork. Those people did not want to be found.” (25:10-25:20 | Christi)“At this point, I am over being made to look like an ass, based on lies. If you want to air the truth about me, whatever, I live up to what I do. But when you start lying, and have other people saying it on national television, I start to have a problem.” (1:11:26-1:11:50 | Kelly) “I remember us sitting in the audience, sobbing. I think at that point, we thought, ‘How did we get here?'...That's one of my favorite memories of Dance Moms'” (1:22:46-1:23:27 | Christi)LinksSubscribe to us on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC50aSBAYXH_9yU2YkKyXZ0w Subscribe to our Patreon: www.patreon.com/backtothebarreThank you to Ashley Jana for allowing us to use Electricity!! We are there to serve. And when we think about that connection, when you truly get to know people and you're empathetic, sympathetic — to a point — and you know who they truly are and how they work, obviously, you are like the little birds of a feather. You kind of start to attract like-minded people. And all of a sudden, you'll end up with a team who have all these similarities and respect for one another. They have a connection. And what happens next is pretty easy. It's that trust. We don't have to fight for trust, at that point.” (5:04—5:52) -Adriana“I can't work for you as a dental assistant — and I'd be a terrible dental assistant — and I can't lean on the core values if I don't know the core values. And so, I think one of the things that you have to do in order to build something that's trustworthy, long term, very healthy, it's got to be built on the right values. And you know this, your favorite people care about the same things that you care about. So, my question to you is, what do you care about as a dentist? And once you figure that out and put those out there, it's your favorite thing, ever.” (6:35—7:04) -Kirk“I worked recently with another one of our awesome coaches, Heather, and been putting together a lot of things with our core values. At any given time, when I walk into a practice that I'm coaching and if I ask the team, ‘Hey, tell me what your core values are again,' and they don't know them, it's a little bit of a heartbreak for me because I know, at that time, the doctor can't be that committed to their core values if his or her team doesn't know them by heart. And that's a big one.” (7:26—8:03) -Adriana“I have a couple teams, I know their core values because I've

“At the start of the pandemic, my co-founder and I realized that it was the opportunity to really start expanding this mission to help kids with serious illnesses have the power and choice through a creative process that they so often don't get to have in their daily lives,” shares Dan Rubins. Dan is the co-founder and executive director of Hear Your Song, a non-profit organization empowering kids with serious health conditions to make their voices heard through collaborative songwriting. Today, Dan joins host Tiffany Zehara to talk about how the organization got started and how it works to empower kids globally. Kids with severe illnesses and diseases lose a lot of agency over their own lives. They may spend a lot of time inpatient in hospitals and don't have as much opportunity to express themselves creatively as other kids. Hear Your Song gives kids an opportunity to be involved in every step of the song creation process from lyrics and vocals to beats and instruments. It also provides an online community so that kids and their families can feel more connected.  Music can be incredibly healing, but the creation of music itself also provides an opportunity for empowerment. Tune into today's episode of Humanitarian Entrepreneur Podcast for a talk with special guest Dan Rubins to learn more about the work Hear Your Song is doing to improve the lives of children with serious and chronic illnesses.  Quotes “At the start of the pandemic, my co-founder and I realized that it was the opportunity to really start expanding this mission to help kids with serious illnesses have the power and choice through a creative process that they so often don't get to have in their daily lives.” (3:28-3:46 | Dan) “It's really all about giving kids as many choices and as much control of every step of the process as we possibly can.” (7:10-7:18 | Dan) “We're hoping to this year take on some more multilingual partnerships as well, because that's something we're really excited about giving kids the opportunity to write songs in whatever language they feel most comfortable in.” (8:14-8:26 | Dan) “One of the things that's been wonderful on the community side has been really getting to know kids and families and bringing them together in ways that we would probably never have thought of if we were working purely in person.” (12:22-12:36 | Dan) “We also have what we call Cheer Your Song showcases where we have kids sharing their song virtually live with some of the volunteers who worked on their song. And we invite big audiences to watch that as well and put comments in the chat and sort of respond to kids songs and ask questions in real time. And those kinds of things have really been amazing for just making kids and families feel that they're part of a wider community. And a lot of kids listen to each other's songs, which is really cool. All the songs are up on our Youtube channel.” (13:05-13:40 | Dan)   Connect with Dan Rubins: Website: hearyoursong.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hearyoursonghys Instagram/Twitter/TikTok: @HearYourSongHYS Youtube: www.youtube.com/hearyoursong Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/61cbxgJyTl1HTAkewAvTla?si=EUPInWLsTJ68E9h6-9kgpg To connect with Tiffany to solve problems or affect the kind of change you want: https://calendly.com/humanitarianentrepreneur/discovery-call Website:  https://humanitarian-entrepreneur.com  Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm

“I wish a lot of young people knew that it's OK to be different,” says Alexa Curtis, 25-year-old Gen Z entrepreneur and co-founder of GrasshoppHer. In 2011, at just 12 years old, Alexa started a blog called "Life in the Fashion Lane" as a way to escape the relentless bullying she endured at school. She used this platform to discuss everything from body image, mental health, to teen life. Eventually, she became a Radio Disney Host, before leaving to launch the Be Fearless Summit. Hear what this summit was all about and how it was acquired by GrasshoppHer, an upskilling community for women ages 24 to 37. Co-founded with McKinsey consultant Heather Miller, GrasshoppHer helps other women become fearless founders just like Alexa. Highlights from today's conversation include: It's important to talk to people. Ask them how they do what they do so you can learn to do it in a way that works for you. Figure out the natural extensions of your brand so that you can make more money without putting all your eggs in one basket. Look around you, at what is missing from your life, and build a business around it. Take a risk and go for it. No regrets. Quotes • “At the end of the day, trade shows and getting in front of people, and that face to face connection is really how you build that brand.” (16:17-16:26 | Alexa) • “The the opposite side of not taking the risk is the possibility that it works out. So if you take the risk, and even if it doesn't work out, if you've taken a risk, that's that dramatic, likely something is going to happen to you in your life, that's gonna make you realize it was worth the risk. So I would say, you have to go for it. Because otherwise I wouldn't want to live with that kind of regret.” (22:12-22:33 | Alexa) • “Limit your scrolling. The more that you're comparing yourself to other companies, the more that you're wasting your time not being focused on scaling yours.” (44:53-45:01 | Alexa) • “I don't need to work 24 hour days, that's a me thing. I used to work and wouldn't stop until eight, nine, and I was so tired, and I was still so unhappy. And that was something I really struggled with at Disney. Trying something fun and unique, that's personal or even business related, just makes you a well rounded person. “There is no more complex strategy game in the world that I know of than building companies,” says Michael Zuerchner, CEO and Co-Founder of Prismatic. He would know. At age 19, he started a software company whose product integrated 600 tasks to be used in all aspects of law enforcement, such as jail door systems to alarm systems for putting dots on maps when 911 calls were made. It started as a summer job getting his hometown's law office records software up to date, and then he and a friend bootstrapped that software into a fully-fledged business. It became unsustainable once they scaled. After leaving the company, the two started Prismatic to solve the problems they encountered in the first place. Michael explains that integration platforms have been historically focused on integrating the things the company uses together, taking all the things that are in their ecosystem and making the data flow well among them. Prismatic offers a complete iPaaS, or integration Platform as a Service, solution for your whole organization to make everything run more smoothly and at optimum potential.  In this episode, Michael discusses the unique challenges of running a sophomore company and the problem with overestimating your experience and underestimating the variables of starting a company.  Quotes: “At the end of the day you're going to have to do what is going to serve your target market the best. (4:32-4:37 | Michael) “We're all obviously end users of B2B software in some form or fashion, and wouldn't we all like it if there was just one end-all answer that was the magic solution and we didn't have to deal with all of this? If that could exist that would be amazing. I think the hard thing, of course, is building that one true thing that meets the demand of enough of the market.” (9:21-9:40 | Michael) “I don't know very many people who were successful who didn't love the game so much that they wanted to go right back into it.” (16:30-16:39 | Michael) “For all the people that are out there grinding right now, the beach is not all it's cracked up to be, just sitting around doing nothing. It's nice to have freedom, one hundred percent. However, go do nothing for a month; it gets tiring really quickly.” (17:14-17:34 | Brendan) “There is a fundamentally different problem if you are a sophomore company. I don't need to integrate together the things that I use—or maybe I do, but that's a separate thing. I need to connect the product I sell to the other products my costumers use.” (19:52-20:07 | Michael) One of the challenges in our market, and something that I think we do well, is doing a good job for both of those personals. I think we have a solution that speaks very well to product folks and the problems they have, and a product that's very friendly to developers without turning off the rest of the organization. And I think that's a fine line to walk.” (32:28-32:50 | Michael)  Connect with Brendan Dell: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/brendandell/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/BrendanDell Instagram: @thebrendandellTikTok: @brendandell39 Buy a copy of Brendan's Book, The 12 Immutable Laws of High-Impact Messaging: https://www.indiebound.org/book/9780578210926  Connect with Michael Zuercher:Website: http://prismatic.io/ LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/michael-zuercher/ Check out Michael Zuercher's recommended books:• No Man's Land: Where Growing Companies Fail by Doug Tatum: https://www.indiebound.org/book/9781591842491 Startup CEO: A Field Guide to Scaling Up Your Business by Matt Blumbert: https://www.indiebound.org/book/9781119723660 • The Strategy and Tactics of Pricing: A Guide to Growing More Profitably  by Thomas Nagle and Reed Holden: https://www.thriftbooks.com/w/the-strategy-and-tactics-of-pricing-a-guide-to-growing-more-profitably_thomas-t-nagle/272437/?resultid=b8ecc8a1-c660-4d32-8904-d6ccb162d545#edition=19123891&idiq=53411030  Please don't forget to rate, comment, and subscribe to Billion Dollar Tech on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts!
