In the previous episode of the podcast, we discussed how GTO #poker requires mixing. Typical solutions returned by solvers include using multiple bet sizes in a given spot, with each size being used at a specific frequency. While this is all very well in theory, how does one handle mixing in practice? If GTO tells you to bet pot 30% of the time, and half-pot 70% of the time, what do you actually do when the action is on you? The answer is we must randomize. How to randomize to maximize win-rate is the topic of this episode, meant for intermediate to advanced players. The ground just shifted under the auto industry, and we take you straight to the dealer floor to show what's really moving metal. With the $7,500 EV tax credit gone and emissions targets easing, automakers are recalibrating fast—dialing up hybrids, testing extended-range EVs, and even hinting at new life for V8 performance where demand is loudest. We connect policy changes to showroom choices, price pressure, and the practical hurdles that still stall EV adoption: high MSRPs, thin charging networks, and range that doesn't always meet real commutes. We break down why traditional hybrids are winning hearts and wallets right now. No plugs. Fewer compromises. Better fuel economy without changing habits. Then we dig into extended-range EVs, a sleeper category that pairs electric drive with an onboard generator to put range anxiety on ice while trimming complexity versus plug-in hybrids. PHEVs get a critical look too—those 30-ish electric miles sound great until your round trip or charger access says otherwise. Add in dealership intel on what sits, what sells, and how rigid trim bundles can stifle choice, and you've got a candid view of today's buying reality at the $50,000 average price point.Enthusiasts, we didn't forget you. We celebrate muscle car heritage with a tour of wagon-based builds that borrow glory from icons like the GTO, 442, and Chevelle SS, and talk about why sound, torque, and identity still matter in a multi-powertrain future. To round things out, we map a stack of Mardi Gras road trips across Texas—from packed Galveston nights to family-friendly boardwalks—because the best car talk ends with somewhere to go.If you love practical car advice with a pulse, hit play. Have you heard high-stakes #poker players claiming that they play a GTO strategy? That is a myth that is quickly disproved; the general GTO solution to poker is currently unknown. Even if such a solution was available, memorizing solver output and its mixing frequencies would be impossible. It is also the case, however, that GTO solvers have radically improved our understanding of the fundamentals of poker. This podcast episode breaks down the practical takeaways from GTO research, with a particular emphasis on GTO traps to avoid. "Good as new!" "...Yeah... good as new..." This week we talk about rebuilt and salvaged titled cars. There are good deals to be had buying rebuilt titled cars and rebuilding salvaged title cars, but you really need to know what you're looking and when to know you're getting scammed. Episode spoiler alert, you're almost always getting scammed. Also, we're mourning the loss of the local white 250 GTO that sold at auction for a $38.5 million; we will miss seeing it's surprise appearances at Exotics and other local events. Do you think it sold for the right price? Is any car worth that much to YOU? We go back and forth on it. Dan doesn't think any cars is, but Nick wishes it was in his garage. In typical MotorMouth fashion, our first topic is how to diagnose a modern washing machine by reading its trouble codes. Next up is Chris' frustration with small brake bleeder fittings, and we learn that he just needs better tools. Ray talks about a custom ratchet MatcoMan Brian made for him but Chris ain't buyin' it! A new tilt steering column & custom bucket seats are up next for the GTO to complement its new paintjob.
Record prices. Wild color combinations. And a white GTO that quietly told the real story. In this episode, I break down the Bachman Ferrari sale—why so many cars shattered records, why the boldest (and loudest) specs seemed to win, and what this means for the broader Ferrari market going forward. We talk about how extreme colors and one-off specifications are fueling a new wave of Tailor Made Ferraris, often with investment hopes attached, and why that strategy doesn't always end the way people expect. I also dig into the surprises: softness in cars like the Superamerica, Dinos, and Daytonas, the continued strength of Scuderia, Stradale, and Aperta models, and why the white Ferrari 330 LM / 250 GTO selling for $35 million wasn't as shocking as it looked—unless you weren't paying attention. Finally, I connect the dots to what this could mean for upcoming auctions, including RM Sotheby's Arizona, and why fundamentals still matter—even in a market that sometimes feels like a rainbow-painted Skittles car just crossed the block.

Talk of winter vehicle maintenance & East Coast temperatures caused a long time listener to call from Montana and tell the boys what REAL cold weather is like. Both Ray & Chris are having trouble with the windshield washers in their Mazda's, and Ray's powder coated tow-tabs are all the rage as a "Day 2" addition. He'll also be adding electric AC cooling fans to his GTO this year. Solar power talk brings up the thought for a great show guest next week....stay tuned. In the season premiere of season 8, w34z3l breaks down the concept of minimum defense frequency, with an emphasis on how MDF can lead to inappropriate defense frequencies in certain spots. GTO solutions frequently involve defense frequencies that violate MDF, suggesting such lines allow us to be auto-exploited. And yet GTO solutions are generally understood as being unexploitable. This episode reconciles this apparent contradiction, and explains how you can construct practical defense frequencies in common situations. **RELATED LINKS** · Upgrade To PRO Now: https://redchippoker.com/pro-membership · The Exploitative Edge (Book): https://redchippoker.com/the-exploitative-edge - Exploitative Poker Strategies Beyond GTO: https://youtu.be/_Jx3YAf3y1E?si=WRvj4dotH5SPeogi - Defending Yourself Correctly In Poker: https://redchippoker.com/correct-poker-defense/ **JOIN US ON DISCORD** Join our free poker Discord today: https://redchippoker.com/discord

Playing in a cash game on your own live stream might be something most people would avoid. But Ryan Feldman, CEO of Hustler Casino Live, is not like most as he loves to get in there and battle! In this high stakes poker cash game, he steps out from behind the cameras and into the spotlight, facing none other than poker sensation Tom ‘durrrr' Dwan. In this poker hand, Feldman bets the river with top pair and Dwan is on the verge of calling that he even shows his cards to the entire table! But will Feldman give something away that allows Dwan to make the correct fold or will this be a huge error by Tom Dwan? When you're playing against weaker, less game theory optimal (GTO) studied opponents in small or mid stakes live cash games, you'll often see betting lines that poker solvers simply do not recommend. A common example is when someone leads the flop or turn from out of position for an unusually small sizing. These tiny donk bets tend to come from a very polarized range, usually representing either a strong made hand or a weak, marginal holding that they're unsure on how to play.Your goal is to figure out which end of their range this small bet falls into. If it's weak, raising will win you the pot immediately. If it's strong, you can play cautiously or value raise thinner, knowing they will not fold. Once you recognize these huge leaks in your opponents’ games, exploiting these non GTO tendencies becomes straightforward and extremely profitable. Tom Dwan also known as durrrr from his online days is a 39 year old American professional poker player. He is a favorite poker player for many around the world as they would watch him battle in the highest stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker before poker's Black Friday hit. Dwan is known for his fearless style and crazy bluffs. He was a regular on Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker. Today, Durrrr is mostly known to play in high stakes private games in Asia. Durrrr is often seen on the Triton poker tour playing in the largest buy-in poker tournaments in the world. Dwan currently has over $6,900,000 in live poker tournament earnings which puts him in the top 300 on the all time money list. Since 2007, Tom has played over 217 live streamed poker cash games and has won more than $4,000,000. Ryan Feldman is an American amateur poker player with over $170,000 in live poker tournament earnings. He is the owner and producer of the Hustler Casino Live Stream. Before that, he worked as a producer for another poker live stream – Live At The Bike from 2016 to 2019. Hustler Casino Live is a full-scale, high value poker production. Close to a million dollars was spent transforming the casino's high limit poker room, the Crystal Room, into the set of this new state of the art live poker show. Some of the most notable poker players to have appeared on the show are Phil Ivey ‘The Tiger Woods of Poker' ‘RaiseOnce', Tom Dwan 'durrrr', Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat', Chris Moneymaker, Doug Polk ‘WCGRider, Garrett Adelstein ‘Gman', Tony Guoga ‘Tony G' and many more. Preflop:From under the gun, Ryan Feldman raises to $1,200 with Q9 of hearts as Tom Dwan calls out of the cutoff holding pocket tens, and Peter calls on the button with 43 of clubs. Steve looks down at AK of hearts and chooses to 3-bet and squeezes to $6,400 from the big blind. Feldman calls, Dwan calls with his pocket pair, and Peter comes along with his low suited connector. Flop – Qc 8s 4s:Steve is first to act and elects not to continuation bet with his big slick, since the pot is multi-way and he only has two overcards and a backdoor straight draw. Feldman currently has the best hand, having flopped top pair with a backdoor straight draw of his own. Feldman checks before Dwan checks as well with his pair of tens, and Peter opts to check behind with bottom pair and a backdoor flush draw. Turn – Jd:Steve, Feldman, and Dwan pick up straight draws on the jack of diamonds turn. Steve bets the minimum of $400 with his gutshot to broadway and is immediately raised to $15,000 by Feldman with a pair of queens. Dwan cold calls the raise, which forces Peter and Steve to fold, leaving Feldman and Dwan to go heads-up to the river. River – 5h:With just one pair, Feldman bets $32,000 on the five of hearts river. Will Feldman be able to get Dwan to make the incorrect hero call with a pair of tens, or will Dwan correctly read the situation and toss his cards into the muck? Alan Keating entertains poker fans across the globe on high stakes cash streams with his fearless, crazy, and loose style. Now, Keating is taking his shot at poker tournaments. In this poker hand from the $25,000 buy-in 2024 World Series of Poker Paradise Main Event, he tangles with poker professional Alex Kulev near the money bubble. Kulev leads out on the flop and turn with complete air before putting Keating to the test for the majority of his stack on the river. Has Alan Keating lost his mind, because with just ace-high, Keating has no real option but to fold, right? When playing in a poker tournament, and you have 50bb or less after defending out of the big blind, it is game theory optimal (GTO) to have a leading strategy on certain flops that are good for your range. For example, on a low, wet & connected flop, the big blind will often have a slight range advantage since a lot of the suited and offsuit holdings that connect well on these flops will be defended. Again, it is important to make sure you are balanced in these spots by leading not only with bluffs, but also with value hands so that your opponents cannot easily exploit you. Alan Keating is a well known high stakes cash game poker player often playing in the biggest live cash games and private poker games around the world. He has over $230,000 in live tournament poker earnings. Keating has become more of a regular on the Hustler Casino Live stream. He is extremely popular amongst poker fans partly due to the fact that he wins and loses millions of dollars whilst always carrying a smile on his face! Keating has been seen associating with poker celebrities such as Dan Bilzerian. Alex Kulev ‘FutureofMe' is a professional poker player from Bulgaria. He has over $15,500,000 in live tournament poker earnings which puts him in the top 100 on the all time money list and 1st on Bulgaria's all time money list. He has 1 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet which came from a $50,000 buy-in event at the 2023 WSOP. Kulev won $2,087,073 for his first place finish. The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise was a No-Limit Hold'em and Mixed Games festival held from December 3rd – 14th at the Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas. Featuring 15 bracelet events that culminated in the $25,000 Main Event. $25,000 – 2024 WSOP Paradise Main Event – Results 1st: Yinan Zhou – China – $6,000,0002nd: Marcelo Aziz Jr. – Brazil – $4,600,0003rd: Mustapha Kanit ‘lasagnaaammm' – Italy – $3,600,0004th: Liv Boeree – England – $2,800,0005th: Christopher Nguyen – Germany – $2,100,0006th: Michael Addamo ‘imluckbox' – Australia – $1,650,0007th: Justin Bonomo ‘ZeeJustin' – U.S.A. – $1,300,0008th: Vadzim Lipauka – Belarus – $1,000,0009th: George Lehmann – Germany – $750,000 Preflop:Nearing the money bubble of the 2024 World Series of Poker Paradise Main Event, Alan Keating raises to 50,000 from the cutoff with AQ of diamonds and Alex Kulev defends with 83 of hearts in the big blind. Flop – 7s 6c 4c:The wet, low, connected flop is great for Kulev's range and he knows this, as he decides to donk lead for 35,000 with a gutshot straight draw. Keating calls with just two broadway cards, no backdoor draws but is currently ahead with his ace-high. Turn – 9c:The front door flush comes in on the nine of clubs turn, causing Kulev to lead out again, this time for 155,000, having picked up an open ended straight draw. Keating calls one more time still holding the strongest hand out of the two. River – 9s:The board pairing river doesn't deter Kulev as he leads out for the last time with a big bet size of 430,000 with just eight-high. Surely Keating can't call with ace-high and risk bubbling the tournament? Stay tuned to this poker video to see what Keating decides to do.

Use coupon code LEVELUP and get $50 off the new Lab 2.0 Watch the 'Winning Money in Multiway Pots' episode on YouTube Mike Brady and Gary Blackwood reveal the five most profitable bluffing spots in poker that every serious player should master. Learn how to identify and exploit bluffing opportunities—like paired boards, delayed c-bets, and favorable runouts—to outthink your opponents and win more pots. View the written version of this episode here. 00:00 Tip 1 05:06 Tip 2 09:15 Tip 3 12:28 Tip 4 16:03 Tip 5 In this episode of the Upswing Poker Level-Up, hosts Mike Brady and Scottish pro Gary Blackwood break down the five most effective bluffing spots that every player can add to their arsenal to win more pots and play with greater confidence. The discussion opens with an emphasis on fundamentals—identifying bluff spots rooted in sound theory rather than intuition or live reads. The first bluffing spot focuses on check-raising paired flops after defending from the big blind. Gary and Mike explain how solvers recommend surprisingly wide check-raises on boards like Ten-Ten-Deuce or Queen-Deuce-Deuce, creating highly profitable situations since opponents rarely defend correctly. They highlight how these bluffs succeed because most players don't realize how often they should be calling with weaker holdings or backdoor draws. Next, they explore delayed continuation betting—a powerful bluff when your opponent checks twice. By analyzing real game scenarios, they demonstrate that when a flop and turn go check-check, the opponent's range is “capped,” meaning it contains few strong hands. This opens a prime opportunity to apply pressure through wide and aggressive turn bets. The third major bluff spot covers probe betting on the turn after your opponent checks back on a dynamic flop. Here, they challenge conventional solver logic by showing that most human players fail to check strong hands as often as theory dictates. As a result, when they check back, they're often weak, making probe bets—especially with draws and backdoor equity—highly effective. Bluff spot number four focuses on attacking when the board texture shifts dramatically in your favor. When a turn or river card favors your range—for instance, completing potential straights or two-pair combinations—you can lead aggressively, even out of position. The hosts emphasize how understanding range advantage allows you to “donk bet” profitably in these scenarios. The final bluff spot centers on barreling when draws complete and you hold key blockers. Using the Ten-Six-Deuce-Three-Queen board as an example, they show how triple-barrel bluffs with hands like Ace-Five with the Ace of diamonds can be extremely powerful because they block potential flushes while representing strong hands. Throughout the episode, Mike and Gary balance GTO theory with real-world exploitation, giving listeners the strategic insight to recognize and act on bluffing opportunities that most players miss. By mastering these five spots, you'll sharpen your aggression, punish capped ranges, and level up your overall poker strategy.

Ever wonder what it's like to buy a dream car new—and still have it decades later? In this episode, Greg Stanley sits down with two remarkable enthusiasts who did just that. First up is Roger Parlett, original owner of a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback 428 Cobra Jet. As one of the Ford engineers who helped bring the 428 CJ to life, Roger offers a firsthand look at how this legendary muscle car came to be—and what it was like to drive one home from the factory. Then, Greg talks with John Janisch, who purchased his 2004 Lotus Esprit V8 Final Edition brand-new—the very end of Lotus' exotic, analog era. John shares what it's been like to live with and preserve one of the final examples of a truly driver-focused supercar. It's a rare glimpse into automotive history told by the people who were there from day one—still turning the keys to their own legends. #TheCollectorCarPodcast #GregStanley #RMSothebys #FordMustang #Mustang428CJ #CobraJet #LotusEsprit #LotusEspritV8 #LotusFinalEdition #OriginalOwner #CollectorCars #CarPodcast #AutomotiveHistory #MuscleCar #ClassicCar #Supercar #CarStories #CarCulture #FordPerformance #LotusCars #VintageCars #EnthusiastOwned Do you need help buying or selling your collector car? This week, I'm back on the Monterey Peninsula for two of the most spectacular automotive events on earth—Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. I review one of the most talked-about cars on social media: the Jaguar XKD, known as the “Little Red D-Type” on Instagram—a car whose restoration and racing pedigree stopped enthusiasts in their tracks. Then we shift gears to the Ringbrothers' jaw-dropping Aston Martin build revealed at The Quail, a fusion of British elegance and American engineering audacity. From the soft morning light on the Pebble lawn to the roar of bespoke V12s at The Quail, this episode captures the artistry, innovation, and passion that define Monterey Car Week.
