Catechism of the Catholic Church Paragraphs: - 596 (in 'Divisions among the Jewish authorities concerning Jesus') - The religious authorities in Jerusalem were not unanimous about what stance to take towards Jesus. The Pharisees threatened to excommunicate his followers. To those who feared that "everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and destroy both our holy place and our nation", the high priest Caiaphas replied by prophesying: "It is expedient for you that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation should not perish." (abbreviated) - 58 (in 'the Covenant with Noah') - The covenant with Noah remains in force during the times of the Gentiles, until the universal proclamation of the Gospel. The Bible venerates several great figures among the Gentiles: Abel the just, the king-priest Melchisedek - a figure of Christ - and the upright "Noah, Daniel, and Job". Scripture thus expresses the heights of sanctity that can be reached by those who live according to the covenant of Noah, waiting for Christ to "gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad". - 60 (in 'God chooses Abraham') - The people descended from Abraham would be the trustee of the promise made to the patriarchs, the chosen people, called to prepare for that day when God would gather all his children into the unity of the Church. They would be the root on to which the Gentiles would be grafted, once they came to believe. - 706 (in 'The Spirit of the Promise') - Against all human hope, God promises descendants to Abraham, as the fruit of faith and of the power of the Holy Spirit. In Abraham's progeny all the nations of the earth will be blessed. This progeny will be Christ himself, in whom the outpouring of the Holy Spirit will "gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad." (abbreviated) - 2793 (in 'Our Father') - The baptized cannot pray to "our" Father without bringing before him all those for whom he gave his beloved Son. God's love has no bounds, neither should our prayer. Praying "our" Father opens to us the dimensions of his love revealed in Christ: praying with and for all who do not yet know him, so that Christ may "gather into one the children of God." In this episode of Channeled Revelations, Micheila Sheldan channels the Council of Light, The Order of Melchisedek and The Great white Brotherhood. Ethann starts off the conversation with a discussion about "white hats" within the extraterrestrial and extradimensional communities, and how they are influencing the human race and whether extraterrestrial races are protecting the planet from nuclear war. The conversation continues with a look back in time to the origins of the current global financial system as well as how it differed from how money was used in ancient civilizations prior to 11,000 years ago. Other topics include how gold and silver came to be recognized as a means of monetary exchange, how slavery is the basis for the current financial system, how human beings are giving away their spiritual energy to world leaders thereby diminishing their access to their own cosmic bank account. The episode concludes with a discussion of how the billionaires use rituals and kabbalistic teachings to siphon spiritual energy from the general population in order to obtain their wealth and how human beings can take it back.About Micheila Sheldan Micheila Sheldan is an intuitive channel, Executive Director of the Flower of Life Institute and Marketing Director of the Awake and Empowered Expo. We've been talking over the past several weeks about your Melchizedek priesthood in Christ, in our last session, we were talking about who Melchizedek was and what he was doing on the earth Melchizedek? According to the scripture was the Old Testament appearance of the Holy Spirit to Abraham that aspect of the Godhead, the holy spirit being the only part of the godhead who was ever been continually on the Earth from the Ian in Genesis 1 verse 2. He's called in scripture priest after an endless life in the book of Hebrews chapter 5 and again in chapter 7, he is called King of righteousness without father or mother and priest after an endless life. King of righteousness is a title that belongs only to God. And it says that he is made like unto the Son of God. So we know that he is not Jesus the Christ as some claim.Listen for more...Scripture referenced:Hebrews 5 & 7Genesis 1:2For more Free books, Sunday teachings and bible studies, or is you would like to make a love offering, please visit us at: https://www.walkinginpower.orgDr. Bern Zumpano is a Pastor and Teacher of the Word of God who has authored several books on Spirit-filled living through relationship with Jesus Christ and walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit. We've been talking over the past several sessions, about the priesthood of the believer, Revelation 1:6 says that you are a priest and King unto, your God New Testament. Scripture also says you are a royal priesthood, a holy nation. The only royal priesthood of scripture is the Melchizedek priesthood mentioned in Genesis 14 for the first time. And then again in the book of Hebrews chapters 5 & 7 where Melchizedek, who is the Holy Spirit, the only part of the godhead who has been on the earth from the beginning of the creation and who appeared to Abraham and it is this Melchizedek who is referred to as king of righteousness, king of peace without lineage that is without father or mother priest unto the most high God and priest after an endless life. Those characteristics refer only to the godhead in Melchizedek, therefore is the Holy Spirit.Listen for more...Scripture referenced:Revelation 1:6Hebrews 5 & 7For more Free books, Sunday teachings and bible studies, or is you would like to make a love offering, please visit us at: https://www.walkinginpower.orgDr. Bern Zumpano is a Pastor and Teacher of the Word of God who has authored several books on Spirit-filled living through relationship with Jesus Christ and walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit. We have been talking over the past several weeks about Melchizedek described in Genesis 14 as priest of the most high God. Melchizedek deck is also referred there as king of Salem, who met Abraham and the return of the battle of the Kings and brought Bread and Wine. Now, Melchizedek as we learn is the Holy spirit in Hebrews. 7:2, it says that Abraham gave a tenth part of all to him and that was a form of worship. He tithed and it continues in Hebrew 7:2 regarding Melchizedek first being by interpretation king of righteousness. And after that also, king of Salem, which is king of Peace in verse 3, it continues without father without mother without descent having neither, beginning of days, nor end of life.Listen for more...Scripture referenced:Hebrews. 7:2-3For more Free books, Sunday teachings and bible studies, or is you would like to make a love offering, please visit us at: https://www.walkinginpower.orgDr. Bern Zumpano is a Pastor and Teacher of the Word of God who has authored several books on Spirit-filled living through relationship with Jesus Christ and walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit. We have been talking about our Melchisedec priesthood in Christ. In our previous sessions, we defined who Melchizedek was. In Genesis 14, He appears to Abraham after the battle of the Kings, bringing Bread and Wine and Abraham revered him referred to him as Lord in Genesis 17 and in Hebrews chapters 5, 6. and 7 there are various references to him and he is indeed called King of righteousness without lineage without mother and father that is, Ancient of Days and a priest unto an endless life. In Genesis 14, he is referred to as priest of the most high god. Well, Melchizedek obviously was a spiritual being.Listen for more...Scripture referenced:Revelation 1:6John 3:3, 6:63Romans 8:29, 11:361 John 3:2-7, 4:17Act 17:28-30Ephesians 2:22, 4:4, 4:13-15Hebrews 7:16Matthew 12:371 Corinthians 4:20For more Free books, Sunday teachings and bible studies, or is you would like to make a love offering, please visit us at: https://www.walkinginpower.orgDr. Bern Zumpano is a Pastor and Teacher of the Word of God who has authored several books on Spirit-filled living through relationship with Jesus Christ and walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit. We are talking about your Melchizedek priesthood in Christ. To go a little deeper into the understanding of who Melchizedek was we turn now to Genesis 14 and we read from verses 17 to 20 as Abraham was returning from the Battle of the Kings and the king of Sodom, went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of chedorlaomer and the kings that were with him at the valley of Shaveh, which is the Kingsdale and Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth Bread and Wine. And he was the priest of the most high God and he blessed him and said, Blessed Be Abram of the most high, God possessor of Heaven, and Earth, and blessed. Be the most high God, which has delivered your enemies into your hand and he gave him, tithes of all, that is Abraham gave Mel tithes of all.Listen for more...Scripture referenced:Genesis 14:17-20, Genesis 17:1-7-15, Genesis 18:1, Genesis 21:1John 14:12Hebrews 5:7Revelation 1:6Jeremiah 29:11For more Free books, Sunday teachings and bible studies, or is you would like to make a love offering, please visit us at: https://www.walkinginpower.orgDr. Bern Zumpano is a Pastor and Teacher of the Word of God who has authored several books on Spirit-filled living through relationship with Jesus Christ and walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Gdyby powiedział, że należy płacić Faryzeusze by go oskarżyli o sprzyjanie Rzymianom. Doprowadziło to do wybuchu powstania w 66 roku. Jerozolima została zniszczona, świątynia spalona, a mury rozwalone. To drugie słowo występuje jednak w liczbie podwójnej. Mówimy: sto, dwieście i trzysta. A był on kapłanem Boga Najwyższego”. Druga wersja nawiązuje do dwóch wzgórz. Później jednak górę i miasto musieli przejąć Kananejczycy. Niektórzy utożsamiają to miasto z Jerozolimą, a nazwę z Kananejskim bogiem Shalim. Dawid uciekł z Jerozolimy i pozostawił tam arkę. Melchisedek zaś, król Salemu, wyniósł chleb i wino. Menschen in Not und Gottes Reaktion darauf. Lot wohnte damals in Sodom.
Abraham hatte bereits Jesus gesehen. Reflection on Hebrews 7: 1-10 by Fr. Fransiskus Diaz.
“To Him be glory both now and forever.” — 2 Peter 3:18 Heaven will be full of the ceaseless praises of Jesus. Eternity! thine unnumbered years shall speed their everlasting course, but forever and for ever, “to Him be glory.” Is He not a “Priest I for ever after the order of Melchisedek”? “To Him […]

Fr. Eric Nicolai gives one of the first meditations at a retreat at Ernescliff College, Dec 26, 2020. This is on the mystery of vocation. God chooses and calls everyone: He chose us in Christ, that we should be holy and blameless in his presence through love (Eph 1:4). He chose Abraham in Christ. He chose Sarai his wife. He chose Jacob, changed his very name to Israel, and then saved Moses from sure destruction, and chose him to lead his people. He chose David. He chose Jeremiah, and Ezekial, and Daniel, and Ruth, and even Melchisedek, that mysterious figure whose purpose it took so long to figure out. He chose Mary, he chose John the Baptist. He chose you and me. Don't let this pass as a fait accompli. Experience it. Today's episode shows us information about Abraham and his call, and introduces us to the priest-king Melchisedek.
Une prédication textuelle issue de Hébreux 7:1-10 /// Why is it significant for Jesus to be the high priest in the line of Melchisedek. Expository preaching from Hebrews 7:1-10.
Hebrews 7:11-22 ESV 11 Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron? 12 For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well. 13 For the one of whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. 15 This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning bodily descent, but by the power of an indestructible life. 17 For it is witnessed of him, “You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.” 18 For on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside because of its weakness and uselessness 19 (for the law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God. 20 And it was not without an oath. For those who formerly became priests were made such without an oath, 21 but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him: “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, ‘You are a priest forever.'” 22 This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant. A SUPERIOR PRIEST FROM JUDAH. Throughout his epistle, the author of the book of Hebrews reminds his readers that Jesus Christ is superior, and he explains that the new covenant is much better than the old covenant. The superiority of the new covenant rests partly on the priesthood of Christ who serves in the order of Melchizedek. The Melchizedek's order has set aside the Levitical priesthood and will bring perfection to God's people whereas the priests of Levi could not do (Heb. 7:11–12). Beside, this priestly appointment is bound by an oath from God himself while the Levitical priesthood is not. [see v.20,21] In V.13 and 14, Christ is indicated as from the tribe of Judah. We should take note that the law, the ceremonial law in particular, does not give the priestly office to that tribe because it belongs to the tribe of Levi. Since Christ is High Priest but is not from the tribe of Levi, clearly it does follow that the Law had been changed. In highlighting this, the author had silenced the objection that Christ couldn't be a High Priest. True, Jesus was not a part of the right priestly tribe on the basis of human ancestry. However, it is because He serves in the order of Melchizedek, He is fully worthy to be High Priest. And since Melchizedek's order is far superior to Levi's, Jesus' High priesthood is also far superior to Aaron's. As Christ is appointed Priest, 'not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning bodily descent ‘ one in which a carnal succession was required, as in the Levitical priesthood; but by the power of an indestructible life.' This is the reason, like Melchisedek's priesthood being forever. In contrast to the Levitical priesthood, which is not continuing in one person. Notedly, in Psalms 110:1-7, this prophecy of His priesthood after the order of Milchizedek forever is mentioned (see Hebrews 7:17). In v. 18 , there is a disannulling or a repealing [set aside] of the former commandment, that is the Levitical priesthood. And, as the Levitical priesthood and the law are inseparable, it's a repealing of the law also. Why? The reason is in v.19, for (the law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.

(abbreviated) - 58 (in 'the Covenant with Noah') - The covenant with Noah remains in force during the times of the Gentiles, until the universal proclamation of the Gospel. Praying "our" Father opens to us the dimensions of his love revealed in Christ: praying with and for all who do not yet know him, so that Christ may "gather into one the children of God." Le sacificateur Melchisedek

Christoph Fischbacher: Melchisedek

On this episode, we dive into the world of Masonry and Mormonism. In 1842, Joseph ascended to Master Mason “at-sight,” and seven weeks later revealed his Temple Endowment ceremony. If we view more of Joseph Smith’s timeline, we find Masonry was highly influential on the prophet from his earliest years, long before the Book of Mormon ever entered the public sphere. Cheryl Bruno, who is currently writing a book on Mormonism and Masonry, joins us periodically to help us walk through the history of these intertwining fields of philosophy. Who was Melchizedek (Melchisedek)? Why did Abraham give a tithe to the King of Salem?

The Cross Throughout the Scriptures - Part 18 Mat 26:38 Then He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death; remain here and keep watch with Me.” 27. The Six Trials of the Lord Jesus Christ. One of the greatest systems of jurisprudence was used to condemn this One, not only innocent but absolutely perfect. Of the six trials, two were held before Pontius Pilate, where Jesus witnessed or testified an honorable confession, 1Ti 6:13. The first trial was before Annas who was the father in law to Caiaphas, who was the high priest that same year, Joh 18:12-14. Annas was engaged in gangster activities connected with every system of corruption in Jerusalem, and bands of robbers in the Negev, who owed their protection to him. Annas, the most religious, approved this case, and followed the counsel of Caiaphas - “Take Him in and kill Him!” - Joh 18:14. Joh 11:50 “It is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation do not perish.” The perfect Son of God is to be presented as a master criminal by the criminals themselves. At least two eyewitnesses of the same act, event, or sin are necessary according to their law, Deu 19:15. a. It was held at night, contrary to Jewish jurisprudence, Mat 26:31,34. b. There was no defense attorney, which was illegal. c. The court also sought false witnesses, obviously illegal. d. The court was prejudiced, and there was violence in the court. Joh 2:19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Isa 53:7 And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth. Pontius Pilate - “He is a just man” A Roman centurion looks up at the Cross - “Truly, this is the Son of God” - Mat 27:54 Here in his court is the eternal High Priest, after the order of Melchisedek! Heb 5:5-10 He is so loaded down with religion he could not see the Son of God. Su eipas = “Emphatically yes!” In Jewish jurisprudence - no one can condemn himself by his own statements, apart from a confession of guilt. Isa 52:14 His appearance was disfigured more than any man, And His form more than the sons of men. Isa 50:6 I gave My back to those who strike {Me,} And My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard; I did not cover My face from humiliation and spitting. Religion makes people vicious, evil, cruel, corrupt, spiteful, malicious, and violent. Mat 26:53 “Do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?” His restraint was very significant, for if He had lost His temper, there would be NO SALVATION! The third trial was held early the next morning by the Jews. led away = aor-act-ind - apegagon = to lead someone to prison or punishment. Mat 7:6 “Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.” The fourth trial is the first trial before Pontius Pilate, where Jesus witnessed or testified an honorable confession, 1Ti 6:13. This was the day the memorial supper, the Passover, would be eaten. The Jews took Jesus to the Roman governor, because the Law stated they were not to try someone in court on a Sabbath or holy day. Luk 23:2 And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.” Mat 22:21 “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's.” They were implying that He was in reality setting Himself up as a King and trying to lead a revolt against Rome. Here was a rival to Caesar and a dangerous revolutionary! 1Ti 6:13 “Christ Jesus, who has testified the honorable confession before Pontius Pilate,” Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries 2002
