Lord, Seal September with Favor, Speed, And Open Doors! "You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance." Psalm 65:11 What if September does not end as a reminder of what was delayed, but as a testimony of what God completed, restored, and set in motion? Beloved, the Lord is able to seal this month with favor that cannot be denied, speed that cannot be explained, and doors that no person can shut. You may have entered this month carrying questions, waiting for answers, or fighting battles no one else could see. Yet God has not forgotten your labor, your tears, or your prayers. As this month closes, lift your eyes. The same God who brought you this far is able to crown your ending with His goodness. God is not limited by the calendar, the deadline, or the report that seems final. He can cause goodness to meet you at the end of any season. Think of Israel leaving Egypt: behind them was Pharaoh's army, and ahead of them was the Red Sea. But the Lord went before them. He made a way where there was no way, turning an impossible barrier into a pathway of deliverance (Exodus 14:21–22). The doors God opens may not always look familiar at first, but they lead according to His purpose. Isaiah 58:11 says, "The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail." Take this truth into your personal life today. Bring every unfinished matter to the Lord: the application still awaiting a response, the family burden, the health concern, the dream that feels delayed, the ministry assignment, and the private prayer you have prayed through tears. Do not surrender your expectation because the month is ending. Ask God for wisdom to recognize the doors He is opening and courage to walk through them. You do not have to enter the next season empty, exhausted, or afraid. The Lord will guide you. He will refresh you. He will strengthen you for what He has prepared. I declare over you: this September will be sealed with the fingerprints of God's favor. May delayed answers begin to move according to God's perfect will. May divine connections locate you. May clarity replace confusion, peace guard your heart, and holy momentum rise wherever you have felt stuck. Like Israel, you will not remain trapped between what is behind you and what stands before you. By faith, take the next obedient step—send the message, complete the task, make the call, forgive the offense, submit the application, return to prayer, and trust God with the outcome. Amen. Psalm 67:6 says, "The earth has yielded its harvest; God, our God, blesses us." Amen. Prayer for the Day!Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, crown this month with Your goodness. Seal September with divine favor, holy acceleration, and continual open doors. Where Your child has faced delay, bring Your perfect timing and clear direction. Where there has been weariness, renew strength. Where there has been confusion, release wisdom and peace. Finally, she encourages artists to follow what genuinely excites them because that intrinsic motivation is what sustains a long-term, meaningful art career. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims killed 51 percent more people in last quarter of 2025 The Christian persecution charity Open Doors published a report on Nigeria, Africa this month. It's ranked 7th on the charity's list of the world's most dangerous countries worldwide to be a Christian.  Islamic extremist groups drive much of the violence in the country which affects many Christians. Abductions linked to extremist violence rose to 3,415 incidents during the last quarter of 2025. That's up 153 percent from 2024. Plus, civilians who were murdered rose to 1,735, up 51 percent. Many of those martyrs were Christians.  The report noted, “After a period of relative stabilization, killings and abductions appear to be rising again, with sharp increases recorded in late 2025.” In Psalm 82:4 and 8, the psalmist prays, “Deliver the poor and needy; free them from the hand of the wicked. … Arise, O God, Judge the Earth; for You shall inherit all nations.” Conservative Global Methodists grew to 7,250 churches The Global Methodist Church held its General Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa last week. The theologically conservative denomination started in 2022 as churches left the mainline United Methodist Church.   Global Methodists had around 4,700 churches in 2024. Now, just one and a half years later, they've grown to 7,250 churches. Federal appeals court heard abortion drug arguments Here in the United States, a federal appeals court heard arguments in a case about abortion drugs yesterday. Under the Biden administration, the Food and Drug Administration made the abortion drug mifepristone more accessible through the mail. Previously, an in-person visit to a doctor was required. The state of Louisiana is now challenging these changes in court. Attorney Erin Hawley with Alliance Defending Freedom said, “It's high time the FDA be held accountable for the destruction it began causing under the Biden administration with this high-risk drug that is flowing illegally into states that protect life.” Democrat Sen. Fetterman praises Trump at GOP Convention  Republicans are holding their first-ever midterm convention this week. (You can watch the video here). The two-day event kicked off yesterday in Dallas, Texas. President Donald Trump attended the event, and was the keynote speaker, along with Vice President J.D. Vance, cabinet officials, and congressional candidates. Republicans hope to energize voters through the convention ahead of the midterm elections in November.   One surprise at the GOP Midterm Convention, which turned a lot of heads, was a video appearance by Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania who rejected the socialist rise of extreme candidates in his own party, praised Republican President Trump, and introduced his Republican colleague in the U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania, David McCormick. FETTERMAN: “A big room of Republicans in Dallas. Yes, I'm Senator John Fetterman, Pennsylvania. Yes, I'm a Democrat. Why am I here talking to you today? Because, well, I'm a common-sense Democrat. I'm always going to stand with America. “I'm always going to reject the extremes and socialism and that anti-American way of life. Dave McCormick is the kind of senator that gets the job done. And he's going to fight for Pennsylvania. “I'm proud to count him as my friend. Right back over my shoulder, that's the iconic U.S. steel mill. And that's exactly the kind of thing that will work together and will work with President Trump to fight and defend the steel way of life right here in the Steel Valley. “I have this opportunity to introduce this great American, a great senator. And yes, he's in a different party, but I'm proud to count him as my great friend. So, for everybody in Dallas, I'm here to introduce Dave McCormick.” Republican Senator David McCormick of Pennsylvania is not up for re-election until 2030. CNN pollster calls GOP Mid-term convention ill-conceived In related news, CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten provided polls on voter enthusiasm on the eve of the Republican midterm convention. Enten called the event "ill-conceived," saying the party's core voters "don't need to be convinced" to come out. Listen. ENTEN: “This idea is so ill-conceived and you can just see it by the fact that they're doing it when the football season is starting. Who does that? “When you look at the numbers, no, that is not the part of the party in which you actually need to motivate. You can see this here. Extremely motivated to vote in the midterm elections: Sixty percent of Democrats are extremely motivated to vote. Fifty-nine percent of that hard-core Trump base, MAGA Republicans, 59 percent. The same as the Dems." Enten pointed to a graphic showing that the least motivated voters in the mid-term election this November are the 41 percent of Republicans who do not identify with "Making America Great Again." ENTEN: “The ones who are not motivated to vote are the non-MAGA Republicans. The people who are far less likely to approve of Donald Trump. The people who think that Donald Trump's Republican Party probably this should be the end of it. That's where the problem is. “So, no, it is not, in fact, the hard-core Republican base that needs that motivation. It is other folks -- at this convention -- simply put, they won't be reaching because they'll probably be watching football like most Americans.” Diesel prices hit an all-time high Last Friday, U.S. diesel prices hit an all-time high  The average nationwide price reached $5.85 per gallon. It was $3.76 per gallon back in February. That's when the U.S.-Iran conflict began, disrupting the oil supply. Diesel is used in most freight transport in America. Higher transport costs will likely translate into higher retail prices especially for groceries.  New York homeschooling up 200% since 2011 Homeschooling is up 200 percent in New York over the past 15 years. The Empire State now has 53,905 homeschoolers. New York City itself has 14,000 homeschooled children. Homeschooling is not only growing, it's outpacing the rate of charter school enrollment.  Zilvinas Silenas, president of the Empire Center for Public Policy think tank, told The New York Post, “For the past few decades, New York's schools have been in a death spiral of worsening performance and exploding costs. New York's taxpayers spend $37,000 — the most in the world to educate one kid — yet we lose in reading and mathematics to Mississippi, the poorest state.”  Adults admit to spending too much time on smartphones And finally, a new Pew Research survey found over half of U.S. adults say they spend too much time on their smartphones. Among adults under 30, 70 percent said their phone usage is excessive. Overall, a quarter of Americans admit they use their smartphone almost constantly.  Over the past 12 months, 45 percent of adults have tried to cut back on smartphone use. A quarter of those report they have been successful.  Ephesians 5:15-17 says, “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark No Christian refugees have been granted asylum in America The United States has not admitted any Christian refugees fleeing persecution over the last year. That's down from over 18,000 Christian refugees admitted in 2017, according to a report from Open Doors and World Relief.  Compared to his first administration, the second Trump administration has deprioritized refugee resettlement for people suffering religious persecution.  World Relief created a petition which we have linked in our transcript today at TheWorldview.com. The petition calls for the U.S. government to “once again prioritize Christians and other religious minorities fleeing religious persecution.” Brazilian Evangelicals are largest group of young people in Catholic nation Evangelicals are now the largest religious group among young people in the historically Catholic nation of Brazil. The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics published new data from the country's 2022 census.  Roman Catholicism remains the country's largest religion at 57 percent but has been declining for decades. Evangelicals now represent 26.9 percent of the population. And people who identify with no religion remain a minority but are growing in Brazil. Our demographically-aging population The U.S. Census Bureau released a population report last month entitled, “An Aging World: 2025.” The report found that people aged 65 and older make up about 11 percent of the world's 8.1 billion people. Meanwhile, children who are five years of age or younger make up only nine percent of the world's population. This means there are more senior citizens than young children in the world for the first time on record. Plunging fertility rates are behind this demographic change.  Psalm 127:3 is as applicable today as the day it was written. “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward.” Idaho given green light to enforce abortion ban A federal court ruled Idaho can enforce its ban on most abortions. Idaho passed its Defense of Life Act in 2020. The state's supreme court upheld the law back in 2023. However, a new lawsuit seeks to allow abortions in the state to supposedly protect a mother's so-called “health.”  Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador said, “Last month a federal judge blocked Idaho from enforcing our pro-life laws. We appealed immediately, and today the Ninth Circuit put that order on hold. Idaho can enforce the law again while this case is heard, which means unborn children and their mothers in our state are protected under Idaho law.” Artificial Intelligence making students less intelligent Global student performance is declining as Artificial Intelligence usage rises. The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development surveyed over 760,000 students in 91 countries last year. Student performance continued to decline last year, especially in reading and math. Reading scores in the United States reached their lowest point in over two decades.  The report found that students who used Artificial Intelligence for specific schoolwork tasks were outperformed by those who did not use AI. Using Artificial Intelligence for Bible study is problematic Speaking of AI, the Barna Group reports a rising concern about Artificial Intelligence misinterpreting Scripture.  Seventy-four percent of U.S. adults are concerned about this. That figure rises to 83 percent among practicing Christians and 94 percent among pastors. When Artificial Intelligence is asked about theological disagreements, 60 percent of pastors say it should show all major interpretations, but not tell which is best. Meanwhile, practicing Christians are divided. Twenty-six percent say that Artificial Intelligence should show the major interpretations and tell which is best. Twenty-percent say it should only show the most widely agreed-upon interpretation. And 19 percent say AI should avoid interpreting these parts of theology.  105-year-old woman thanks God for her life And finally, a Texas woman is giving thanks to God after turning 105. Blynda Vidock was born in 1921. She celebrated her birthday this year surrounded by five generations of her family. Listen to her comments to FOX 26 Houston when asked about her longevity. VIDOCK: “I don't really have anything to do with it. The good Lord put me here for so many years. It's His life through me. I've always been very athletic, played tennis and swam all my life. Ate good food, which I preach to my kids, and they still eat junk food. (someone nearby laughs) And my grandkids and my great grands.” The 105-year-old also said, “I wonder every day when I wake up in the morning, 'This is another day, Lord, why am I here?' Every day is a blessing!” Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “Through the LORD's mercies, we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson, Timothy Reed, and Adam McManus New Pakistani law prohibits marriage to girls under 18 The Lahore High Court in Pakistan has ruled that anybody living in a marital relationship with a girl under 18 will constitute child abuse even if the minor offers so-called “consent.” The ruling is intended to protect minority girls, especially Christians, from forced religious conversions and sexual abuse in forced marriages to Muslim men. The decision comes after the passage of the Punjab Child Marriage Restraint Act 2026. This is a welcome decision after court proceedings with Maria Shahbaz — a 13-year-old Christian girl who was kidnapped in Lahore a year ago, and was forcibly married to a 30-year-old Muslim man.  According to Open Doors, Pakistan is the 8th most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Orthodox U.S. Jew harassed for hosting prayer group in home Here in the United States there's another religious persecution case. Back in 2021, Daniel Grand, an Orthodox Jewish homeowner in Cleveland, Ohio, emailed a group of friends, inviting them to his home on Saturdays for prayer. Apparently, he didn't want to walk to the local synagogue since Orthodox Jews are not allowed to drive on the Sabbath. Somehow Daniel's email made it to a city official, and he was told to “cease and desist,” unless he first obtained a “special use permit.” The city officials dubbed his home “an illegal synagogue.” Thankfully, Alliance Defending Freedom has taken up the case. Incredibly, the attorneys noted that, according to the city, “The only way for Daniel Grand to pray with friends at his home [is] to convert his home to a commercial space and move his family.” Conservative German party won 44 percent of seats in local election The Alternative for Germany Party won 44 percent of the seats in their local election in the state of Saxony-Anholt over the weekend, reports CBS News. That's the first time a nationalist, anti-immigration party has gained this much political ground since World War II. The Alternative for Germany Party is advocating for the deportation of immigrants — a position that is widely rejected in the rest of Germany right now. Twenty percent of Germans are foreign-born today. Nine years ago, that was 12 percent. The birth rate for German citizens is 1.2, whereas the current birth rate for foreign citizens living in Germany is 1.8. At this birth rate, the population of German citizens, without the benefit of immigration, would decrease from 71 million to 30 million in 50 years. With or without the Alternative for Germany Party, Germany is dying. Brazilian presidential election: Luiz da Silva vs. Flavio Bolsonaro The Brazilian presidential elections are approaching. The sitting president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, will face off against conservative Senator Flavio Bolsonaro.  Flavio is the son of Brazil's previous president, Jair Bolsonaro, who has been imprisoned by rival parties in the country. Polls indicate a tightening in the race — which may head into a runoff. Several South American countries have seen a shift to the right of center since U.S. President Donald Trump took office in January 2025.  Canadian welcome males, pretending to be females, in women's prisons The Canadian government is reiterating its support for males, pretending to be females, being housed in women's prisons. This comes after the government was challenged by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, which contested the ruling that men could invade women's prisons upon request. According to the Canadian government's Statement of Defense, “The Directive is neutral in purpose, applies uniformly to all persons subject to it, and does not subject cisgender women inmates to differential treatment based on a protected ground or immutable characteristic.” However, Attorney Chris Fleury pointed out, “Female inmates are being exposed to real risks and real harm. This case is about protecting their safety, dignity, and constitutional rights.”  The Scriptures refer to cultural degradation. In 1 Kings 14:24, the Bible says, “And there were also perverted persons in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.” Trump drafts plan to pay at-home parents $9,000 per child The Trump administration is looking at applying a $9,000 per child subsidy to stay-at-home parents that would typically go to childcare for low-income working moms, reports NewsNation. The New York Times noted that the plan would create what could become the first federal grant program to directly compensate parents for staying at home to raise their children. This would be in addition to the current $2,200 per child tax credit available to families earning less than $400,000 per year. 2 percent of Jewish Americans now identify as Christians Recent Pew Research data finds that 2 percent of adults raised in the Jewish religion here in the United States now identify as Christians. Additionally, 17 percent identify as non-affiliated — or just secularists.   On the other hand, the move towards secularism seems to be one way in which ethnic Jews are moving towards Christianity. An earlier survey found that 19 percent of those of ethnic Jewish background now claim the Christian faith. Dutch race car driver saves fellow driver after fiery crash And finally, a Dutchman race car driver, Loek Hartog, saved the life of a fellow British driver during the China GT Championship race in Shanghai over the weekend, reports People Magazine.  Loek pulled over, jumped out of his car, and took a fire extinguisher to the burning Ferrari, before pulling Ollie Millroy, a British man, out of the conflagration. HARTOG: “What I saw was a huge fireball ahead, and I knew that whoever was in the car would not be able to carry himself out. So, I knew that I had to stop. That's basically pure intuition to get there as soon as possible inside. There was so much fire that, in first instance, I wasn't able to get to him. “But when I ran around the car to see if I could get him out that side, it was not possible. I saw that he didn't move, so I knew that he was either disoriented or not in a position to get himself out. So, I had a fire extinguisher nearby, so I could get the fire down a bit. I got him out, but it was a very scary minute.” Ollie suffered six broken ribs, a broken collar bone, fractures to his hands, and a bruised lung. The Good Morning Britain co-host said this. INTERVIEWER: “When we see the fireball, which we've been showing on our screen, you just told us that you assessed the situation. You couldn't get in. You've got a fire extinguisher to go back to try and get him out. Do you have any training? Are there any procedures?” HARTOG:  “No.” INTERVIEWER: “Couldn't the car have blown up with the petrol, ignited at that moment? I mean, isn't what you did incredibly dangerous for you and reckless?” HARTOG: “It was. For sure, it crossed my mind for five seconds. But it was just more important to get him out as soon as possible.” From his hospital bed, Ollie Millroy wrote, “I am still alive tonight, entirely thanks to one man. There were no fire marshals or fire crews in sight. … He risked his own life to get me out of the car. I don't remember anything between 30 seconds before the crash and 1 hour after it, but I will remember his incredible act of bravery for the rest of my life. Shannon Chamber says the return of a non-stop flight between Shannon and Canada will open new doors to investment for businesses in Clare. It follows the announcement that from June next year, Air Canada will run three flights a week to Toronto Pearson International Airport from the Clare base. It's the first time direct connectivity between Shannon and Canada will be available since 2018. Shannon Chamber CEO, Helen Downes, says the connection will also help strenghten Ireland's relationship with Canada.

University Concert Hall in Limerick has launched a new campaign called Open Doors, with a very simple but important aim – to ensure that every child across Limerick and the wider Mid-West has the opportunity to experience the magic of live performance.  The initiative will help tackle some of the barriers that can prevent children from attending the theatre, including financial hardship, transport, and accessibility.   Support from the RTÉ Toy Show Appeal has helped get the campaign underway, and UCH is now hoping to raise a further €10,000 to make Open Doors a permanent part of its community programme.  Joining Alan Morrissey to tell us more about the campaign and why making the arts accessible to every child matters was Sinead Hope, Director of University Concert Hall. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Another state in India passed anti-conversion law India's state of Maharashtra became the 13th in the country to enact an “anti-conversion” law last week. It's the country's second-most populous state. This has prompted thousands of churches in the area to have worshippers sign a form. The form simply says the person is attending freely and not under coercion.  India's “anti-conversion” laws are often used to target Christians. Hindu nationalists have attacked churches in Maharashtra 11 times in the last six months. India is ranked 12th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most dangerous places to be a Christian.  In John 15:18-19, Jesus said, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet, because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” Send a polite, 4-sentence note to Vinay Kwatra, the Indian Ambassador to America, asking that he urge his government not to pass these anti-conversion laws which target Christians. Australia's new assisted suicide law ABC News Australia reports Australia's Northern Territory passed a bill legalizing assisted suicide last week. The territory was the first in the world to legalize voluntary euthanasia in the 1990s. Australia's federal government overturned the law within a couple years. But in 2022, the government reversed its decision, allowing the territory to legalize assisted suicide once again.  Now, all states and territories in Australia allow for this form of killing. Over 7,200 people have died this way in the country since 2019. Trump's Venezuelan oil deal gives access to 65 billion barrels The Trump administration announced a major oil deal with Venezuela on Friday.  The deal would give the United States access to 17 oil fields in Venezuela with proven reserves of 65 billion barrels of oil. That's about 20 percent of the country's reserves. By comparison, the U.S. has 46 billion barrels of proven oil reserves.  President Donald Trump hopes the deal will lower gas prices for Americans. However, analysts suggest that the deal will not relieve prices in the short-term.  Homeland Security investigates voter fraud in 9 states CNN reports that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is investigating voter fraud in nine states ahead of the midterm elections in November. These states include California, Connecticut, Georgia, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Wisconsin. The Trump administration is pushing for states to phase out certain electronic voting systems and move to paper ballots. The administration has threatened to withhold significant homeland security funds from states that do not adopt such election changes.  ICE arrested 51,000 immigration arrests in July U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement made 51,000 immigration arrests in July. That's up from 43,000 arrests in June. Both months set records for the agency.  Nearly 20,000 of July's arrests were in Texas and Florida. Both states have been very cooperative with the Trump administration's mass deportation efforts.  Gallup poll: Americans supportive of marriage if couple has kids A new Gallup poll found that more Americans are supportive of marriage when children are involved. Thirty-nine percent of U.S. adults say it is very important for a couple to be legally married if they have a child together. That's up from 29 percent in 2020. However, it's down from 49 percent in 2006. Gallup noted, “Weekly church attendees show one of the largest increases since 2020 in the belief that couples, who have a child together, should be married, up 24 points, from 41% to 65%.” Bible societies distributed 148 million Scriptures in 2025 And finally, the United Bible Societies distributed over 148 million printed Scriptures in 2025.  The top countries for Bible distribution last year were Brazil, China, India, Nigeria, and the Philippines.  Rev. Dirk Gevers, Secretary General of the United Bibles Societies, said, “While printed Scriptures continue to reach hundreds of millions of people each year, digital engagement is growing, opening new opportunities to connect with the Bible through mobile devices and online platforms.” This year is the organization's 80th anniversary. Sophia Ibrahim came to Christ in April 2022. Several Muslim men beat her unconscious after they found her attending a Bible study this month. She was discharged from the hospital last week.  Ibrahim told Morning Star News, “I will continue serving [God] and making others know Him because of the everlasting life and the joy of knowing Christ.”   Somalia is ranked second on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most dangerous countries worldwide to be a Christian.  In Philippians 3:8, the Apostle Paul wrote, “Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.” Bible app expands footprint into Latin America The Bible app YouVersion is expanding its presence in Latin America. YouVersion leaders met in Mexico City last week to partner with churches and ministries. Among Latin American countries, Mexico and Colombia have some of the highest levels of Bible app usage. YouVersion CEO Bobby Gruenewald told Christian Daily International, “It took us 17 years to reach the first 1 billion devices. We believe the next billion will come in the next five years. There is a hunger for the Word of God at a global level.”   2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.” Update on Trump's border wall The Trump administration is continuing to build the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. The New American reported, “According to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, as of mid-August 2026, about 365 miles of primary border wall, 58 miles of replacement border wall, and 423 miles of secondary border wall either are now under construction or have been completed since U.S. President Donald Trump took office in January 2025.” The Trump administration is seeking to build or finish 1,200 new miles of wall, as well as hundreds more miles of vehicle barriers and replacement wall. Funding for the continued border project mostly comes from Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, passed in 2025. President Trump rejected trans ideology and affirmed parental rights President Donald Trump addressed education at the White House on Monday as many students return to school this week.  The president specifically called out transgender ideology in schools. Listen. TRUMP: “Every public school in America is now on notice that if they tell a child that they are trapped in the wrong body, they are committing child abuse. … “Under the Trump administration, we're systematically ending every single one of these radical Left betrayals, and we're putting the parents back in charge. They're the ones that love our children. They're the ones that should be in charge.” (applause) Alliance Defending Freedom advances religious liberty in 250 bills Alliance Defending Freedom is helping to advance religious liberty through over 250 state and federal bills this year. These measures support core God-given freedoms. Dozens have already become law. The organization said it provided “legal analysis, bill review, and guidance on laws that curb radical gender ideology, end institutional censorship, and help secure parental rights.” 570th anniversary of Gutenberg Bible And finally, this week in history is commemorated as the anniversary of the Gutenberg Bible. It is named after Johannes Gutenberg, a German inventor and printer. The earliest date appearing on a copy of the completed Gutenberg Bible is August 24, 1456 – 570 years ago. This Bible represented the first work printed in Europe with moveable type. The new printing press would become invaluable for the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century. It allowed teachers like Martin Luther to easily spread their writings on the Bible. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian policed arrested 22-year-old for converting to Christianity Nigerian police arrested a 22-year-old woman for converting to Christianity from Islam, reports International Christian Concern. Though the Federal High Court ruled in her favor, the Christian family that helped her is facing false charges of kidnapping. In 2025, “Sarah” fled from her home in Kano State after her elder siblings tried forcing her into an arranged marriage with a Muslim. While she was on the run, a Christian family took her in and shared the Gospel with her. Through the Abaras family's witness, she gave her life to Jesus Christ.  When her siblings learned of her conversion, they began working with the local Hisbah, the Islamic police force, to track her down and arrest her.  Police discovered her and detained her for four days, during which they beat her and pressured her to return home and accept the Muslim-arranged marriage. When she was released, the Abaras family helped her escape to a neighboring state with less Muslim influence. Please pray for Sarah's safety and that her Christian faith would grow stronger. According to Open Doors, Nigeria, Africa is the seventh most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Ex-Fauci adviser pleads guilty to concealing COVID-19 origins On August 18th, Dr. Anthony Fauci's former senior adviser pleaded guilty to plotting to conceal federal records related to research on the origins of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, reports the Associated Press. Dr. David Morens is scheduled to be sentenced on November 12 by U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis in Greenbelt, Maryland. Morens pleaded guilty to conspiring to defraud the U.S. government, a felony punishable by a maximum prison sentence of five years. Morens is accused of using his private email account to intentionally circumvent public records laws while employed at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The Justice Department alleges that he concealed or destroyed records of discussions related to COVID-19 research grants, including an effort to revive a controversial coronavirus grant. The indictment follows a probe by House Republicans into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic that scrutinized Morens' email communications and accused him of intentionally concealing records. In congressional testimony, Morens denied attempting to evade federal transparency laws by using his personal email. Proverbs 12:22 says, “The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in people who are trustworthy.” Senator Darline Graham performed poorly in Senatorial run-off debate On August 19th, NewsMaxTV hosted the South Carolina GOP Senatorial run-off debate between Senator Darline Graham, who was appointed by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster in the wake of the death of her brother Lindsey Graham, and Congressman Ralph Norman. When Greta Van Susteren asked a foreign policy question, it was clear that Senator Darline was out of her depth. Listen. VAN SUSTEREN: “Senator [Graham], are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security issues for the United States? If so, why?” GRAHAM: “Um. I'm sorry. Could you repeat the question?” VAN SUSTEREN: “Are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security issues for the United States. And if so, why or how?” GRAHAM: “I'm just going to be honest here. I'm not on national security. I'm not that informed on national security. (audience boos and laughs) So, but I do support the military. My brother was in the Air Force for 33 years, so I will do everything I can to support the military. My dad was in the Army. “I'm not a polished politician up here. I'm … National security is not my thing, not my area of expertise. But I do support the military.” By contrast, Congressman Ralph Norman, her opponent in the South Carolina GOP Senatorial run-off, said this. NORMAN: “Taiwan's a definite ally. We have a trading relationship with them that is beneficial to the United States – [computer] chips being one of them, and others. “So, what the, what the president is doing right is he's enabling Taiwan to defend themselves against China. But it's peace through strength that he's showing with Iran that China, Russia, others are looking at it. They don't want to deal with America, and that's why they haven't attacked Taiwan. “If they had some weak Democrat in office, like Biden or another Obama, yeah, they'd take it over. But we can't let that happen. Peace through strength is working.” J.D. Vance believes Christian lifestyle suffices over verbal evangelism And finally, in a July 15th appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Vice President J.D. Vance, who converted to Catholicism from Protestantism, explained that he does not evangelize by word. VANCE: “You know, I don't preach to people. I don't, like, walk into the White House, tell my employees, ‘You know, you need to be, you need to follow Jesus as your Lord and Savior.' I just try to live my life in a way that hopefully makes people a little curious about what, you know, what motivates me and what inspires me.” Todd Friel, a reformed pastor in Atlanta, is the host of the Wretched Network which produces radio shows, TV shows, and books. He says the notion of wretched is at the very core of the Gospel because God saves wretches like us. Friel had this response to Vice President Vance. FRIEL:  “According to 1 Peter 3, that is true: We should live in such a way that it causes unbelievers, who are persecuting us, to ask about the reason for the hope that lies within us. That is most certainly true. “However, that is not the end of our responsibility. We are also called to make the most of every opportunity, to go and make disciples. It is our lifestyle that undergirds our confession, testimony, and evangelism. But a lifestyle is not evangelism itself.” Joe Rogan agreed with Vice President Vance. ROGAN: “I think living by example is probably the best promotion of any good way to live your life …” VANCE: “I agree.” ROGAN: “… whether it's Christianity or any other religion. I think that's definitely the way to do it.” Friel replied with this analysis. FRIEL: “It is a part of it. It does undergird our testimony, but how will they hear unless somebody preaches to them? In other words, evangelism requires words! Nobody can actually find a credible source of Saint Francis of Assisi, who said, ‘Share the Gospel, and if necessary, use words.' Well, it is necessary! Otherwise, you're just being a nice person.” Indeed, in Romans 10:14-15, the Apostle Paul asks, “How then will they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Algerian, African church going underground The Protestant church in Algeria is going underground.  The Muslim-majority country is located in North Africa. Authorities there have shut down nearly all Evangelical churches over the past decade. Many Christians now meet secretly in homes.  One Algerian pastor told Morning Star News, “The situation is undeniably difficult because we are deprived of fellowship. But God's work must not stop. We desperately lack Bibles and Christian books, as customs officials systematically confiscate them even when friends bring them from the West.” Algeria is ranked 20th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the worst countries for the persecution of Christians.  British soldiers are asking about Christ Faith is increasing in the British military.  Army chaplains report more recruits are asking about Christianity, attending services, and requesting baptism. Dr. Martin Gliniecki is the executive director of the Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association. He told Christian Today, “We have prayed for revival in our nation for many years now and … revival in our Armed Forces too. Something is happening. While our Armed Forces are the smallest in modern history, the harvest remains plentiful.” In Luke 10:2, Jesus said, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” British millionaire stands up for persecuted street preachers A British millionaire is standing up for persecuted street preachers. Businessman Samuel Leeds has pledged to fund the legal representation of Christian street preachers who are targeted by police.  He told Truth Times, “We see Christians being persecuted all over the world, but seeing it happen in Great Britain — seeing the disdain, the hatred, and now the oppression of Christian voices — really bothers me. … Where Christians are being unfairly targeted simply for preaching their faith, I'm prepared to put my money behind defending them.” Amen! Democrat primary voters elect another leftist The left wing of the Democratic Party continues to win election primaries. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, whose parents came to America from Egypt, won the Democrat primary for U.S. Senate in Michigan on Tuesday.  The 41-year-old is an epidemiologist who received his Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University, served as director of the Department of Health, Human, and Veterans Services of Wayne County, Michigan, from 2023 to 2025, and was a candidate in the 2018 Michigan gubernatorial election. EL-SAYED: “What a race! You know, in the words of Muhammad Ali, we shook up the world!” Endorsed by socialist Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, among other leftists, he narrowly defeated Congresswoman Haley Stevens, a pro-Israel moderate Democrat. Remarkably, super PACs, political action committees, spent $60 million on the race, supporting Stevens 9-1. El-Sayed champions the abolition of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement known as ICE, ending most U.S. military aid to Israel, and wants a universal, government-funded health insurance program that covers everyone. If you take the time to watch his 19-minute victory speech, which we have linked in our transcript at www.TheWorldview.com, you will notice he is an articulate spokesman for his cause. EL-SAYED: “So, whether you voted for me or voted for my opponent or didn't vote at all, we're inviting you to that movement to get money out of politics, so we can put money back in pockets, and finally guarantee the promise of health care through Medicare for All.” If elected in November, Abdul El-Sayed would be the first Muslim in the Senate.  Democrats are moving left The views of Democrats are shifting further to the left. A new Reuters/Ipsos poll found 71 percent of Democrats label themselves as liberal. That's up from 55 percent in 2012.  Most liberal Democrats identify certain positions as essential to being a liberal. These include increasing taxes on corporations and billionaires, expanding access to abortion, and government provided healthcare coverage.  In Romans 13:4, the Apostle Paul identified different priorities for government: “For [a ruler] is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.” Amazon hits $3 trillion in market value Amazon became the fifth company to reach $3 trillion dollars in market value on Monday.  The tech company saw growth in its cloud-computing services as demand for Artificial Intelligence surges. Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, and Nvidia are the other companies that have reached a market value of $3 trillion dollars in the past.  Doctors successfully operated on baby in the womb And finally, doctors successfully operated on a baby while still in the womb. Baby Theo was diagnosed with a severe intestinal defect in the womb. Indeed, his intestines were completely outside his body.  Such cases can require many surgeries after birth, and babies do not always survive. Parents Maisie Savage and Josh French live in London. They were referred to a clinical trial at Texas Children's Hospital.  At 26 weeks of pregnancy, surgeons conducted the groundbreaking operation. It's the first surgery of its kind in the U.S.  Praise God! Baby Theo was born full-term in February. Josh recently told Good Morning America that Theo is thriving.   Listen. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and me Muslims killed 20 Christians in Congo Islamic militants killed over 20 people in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo last month. The Muslims killed a church elder and a worship leader in the village of Mangina. A local pastor told Open Doors, “Fear is increasing. Brothers and sisters, please intercede for the safety of the rural commune of Mangina and for the strengthening of the faith of Christians.” Such attacks are common in the country as Islamic extremists try to eradicate the presence of Christians.  According to Open Doors, Congo, Africa is the 29th worst country worldwide for the persecution of Christians. 70,000 Muslim migrants stormed Ceuta, Spain Over 70,000 migrants stormed the Spanish North African enclave city of Ceuta. Most were young men from the Muslim-majority country of Morocco.  The Spanish city of Ceuta borders Morocco and is home to just over 80,000 people. Spain deployed its military in response to the surge of migrants, sending most of them back as of yesterday.  Dozens reportedly died in the crossing. A local pastor told Evangelical Focus, “Pray for our city, for the authorities, and for all the staff working on the front line. … We hope that the Lord will allow us to be a beacon of hope and support for our city.” In Matthew 5:16, Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.” Todd Blanche nomination for Attorney General heads to Senate floor On August 3rd, the Senate Judiciary Committee advanced the nomination of Todd Blanche as U.S. Attorney General after he struck a deal with two GOP holdouts, reports The Epoch Times. Republican Senators Thom Tillis of North Carolina and John Cornyn of Texas had opposed Blanche because of concerns over a settlement that the Department of Justice negotiated with President Donald Trump in his suit against the IRS. On August 2, Blanche said that he formally terminated a nearly $1.8 billion fund that would have given payments to victims of government weaponization. Tillis and Cornyn subsequently issued a statement on August 3 pledging their support. The Senate Committee voted 12–10, along party lines, to advance Blanche's nomination. It now heads to the Senate floor for a final confirmation vote, where he can afford to lose only two Republican votes, assuming all Democrats will be opposed and GOP Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky will be absent due to illness. Contact your two U.S. Senators by email and phone -- whatever their party affiliation might be -- and urge them to vote for Todd Blanche as U.S. Attorney General.  Do not assume that every Republican Senator will vote for him. And do not assume that every Democrat Senator will vote against him. Just speak your mind and leave the results ion God's hands. Georgia must reinstate Christian education program In the United States, a district court ruled that a Georgia school district must reinstate a Christian education program. Sweet Onion Christian Learning Center provided free, off-campus religious instruction for students at Vidalia High School. However, school officials canceled the program after its leader criticized a proposed tax increase on his Facebook page.  With the help of Alliance Defending Freedom, the learning center challenged this in court and won.  Planned Parenthood has closed 57 abortion mills since 2025 Planned Parenthood is closing three of its facilities in Michigan. The abortion giant is facing $5.6 million in losses in the state.   The One Big Beautiful Bill Act temporarily defunded Planned Parenthood last year. The funding pause expired last month. However, it did cause many locations to shut down.    The American Life League reports that Planned Parenthood has closed 57 locations since January 2025. U.S. economic growth slowed in second quarter U.S. economic growth slowed during the second quarter of this year. The Gross Domestic Product increased at an annual rate of 1.5 percent. That's down from 2.1 percent during the first quarter. The slower growth was due in part to a decrease in government spending.  In-N-Out Burger President urges those in Idaho to turn to God The owner of In-N-Out Burger spoke out after a tragic shooting at one of the company's locations.  The shooting happened at a newly opened In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho on Saturday. Three people died, including an In-N-Out associate.  Lynsi Snyder is the owner and president of In-N-Out Burger. She wrote, “In-N-Out will be mourning with the families and praying for them as they tread through a very painful season. I am no stranger to loss, but this is so incredibly tough, and my heart also goes out to all of the Associates and Customers who were there during this traumatic event. I love you all, and I ask you to turn to God, not in anger, but seeking comfort and strength for those who are hurting.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” Williams kids in Wasilla, Alaska give $73.45 which parents match On July 31st, Iris Williams in Wasilla, Alaska wrote me and said, “Adam, we have listened as the Lord has opened hearts and provided financial support to The Worldview in 5 Minutes!  This has been an exciting month as my husband Thomas, me, and our 8 children -- Toby, Aubri, Trygg, Trevor, Tyndale, Taleb, Kimber and Torben -- have listened each morning after breakfast as part of our Bible time. I was blown away by what he wrote.  I started reading it to my children and, you guessed it, I started crying.  I asked Mercy, my 14-year-old daughter, to finish reading it since I got choked up. He wrote, “I just listened to your Worldview in 5 Minutes and was moved to get you guys across the finish line.  I sent the remaining $950 that you guys needed. “I just want to let you know that you have encouraged me. “Adam, I pray two things for you.  First, I pray that you are encouraged by the gifts that shower your ministry. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus India looking to restrict foreign funding of Christian groups India's Parliament is considering a bill to restrict foreign funding of Christian and other faith-based groups.  The measure would allow authorities to seize the assets of such organizations if their registration is canceled. Officials have already canceled the registrations of over 22,000 non-governmental organizations.  Republican Congressman Chris Smith of New Jersey is calling on the Trump administration to address this issue with India. He wrote, “If adopted, the bill would sharply expand the ability of the Indian state to seize the property and assets of groups that receive foreign funding — the vast majority of these being Christian churches and charities, such as hospitals and schools.” According to Open Doors, India is the 12th worst country worldwide for the persecution of Christians. In John 10:10, Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Japanese island A 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Japan's southern island of Kyushu yesterday.  The quake caused a collapse at a shopping mall, killing several people. Dozens of people are missing or injured. The Fire and Disaster Management Agency advised over 260,000 people to evacuate the area.   Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority reported no issues with nearby nuclear power plants.  Please pray that God would comfort the Japanese families of those who have died and restore those who have been injured. Senate confirmed Jay Clayton as Director of National Intelligence The U.S. Senate voted on July 28 to confirm Jay Clayton, who was nominated by President Donald Trump to be the next Director of National Intelligence, reports The Epoch Times. Clayton's confirmation by the Senate came after the Senate Intelligence Committee voted 9–8 along party lines on July 21 to advance his nomination. He was ultimately confirmed with 51 senators' support to 47 voting against. SENATOR: “On this vote, the yeas are 51, the nays are 47, and the nomination is confirmed. And the president will be immediately notified of the Senate's action.” Previously, Jay Clayton served as the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York as well as the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission under President Trump's first administration. Justice Department affirmed parents' right to disciple children The United States Justice Department issued religious liberty guidance to all executive departments and agencies last week. The memo reaffirmed many religious freedom protections in federal law. It also added a new piece of guidance.  The memo stated, “Parents have the right to direct the religious upbringing and education of their children. This right extends beyond a mere right to teach religion in the confines of one's home and encompasses the choices parents make for their children outside the home.” In Deuteronomy 6:6-7, God said, “These words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” Drinking water in three cities contained Abortion Kill Pill A new peer-reviewed study found that the drinking water in multiple cities contained the Abortion Kill Pill called Mifepristone. Those cities include Austin, Texas; Blacksburg, Virginia; and Carbondale, Illinois. For years, pro-life groups have been calling on the Environmental Protection Agency to track Mifepristone.  Kristan Hawkins with Students for Life of America stated, “A study inspired by [our] clean water advocacy shows that our concerns are valid. In three cities where water was tested, the active metabolites of Mifepristone, the Chemical Abortion Pill, were in the water. We need the EPA to nationalize this examination, especially in light of so many struggling with infertility.” About 700,000 chemical abortions each year send long-lasting abortion drugs and human remains into America's wastewater systems. Mifepristone blocks progesterone, thus starving the baby. This drug has long-lasting metabolites that remain in the water because the water treatment plants are generally not capable of filtering out these chemicals. GOP Congresswoman Mary Miller of Illinois has introduced the Clean Water for All Life Act. Appearing on EWTN, Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life, said this. HAWKINS: “Mothers are taking these pills at home, in their dormitories, and when they are told when the cramping gets too severe to go on the toilet and to keep flushing and not to look -- meaning chemically tainted placenta and blood, as well as the human remains of our child, are being flushed in our waterways. And when you think about the fact that you're talking over 700,000 abortions a year are happening this way, this means, at a minimum, 50 tons of chemically-tainted blood and placenta are being flushed down our toilets with human remains every year, laced with anti-progesterone metabolites, which, shockingly, after they pass through the mother's body, starve the child and kill the child, do not go inactive. “They actually remain active as they pass through our water system. Voters want political candidates to address the economy The U.S. midterm elections are coming up in November.  Pew Research surveyed voters on what issues they want candidates to address. The top issue was the economy. Voters are especially concerned about affordability and the cost of living. Americans are evenly divided over which party they agree with on economic policies.  If the election were held today, 43 percent of respondents said they would back a Democrat candidate for Congress. Meanwhile, 37 percent said they would back a Republican.  Younger churchgoers want more liturgy in worship service Lifeway Research released a survey on liturgy in worship services at Protestant churches. Liturgies can include elements like set prayers, readings, and formal patterns. Forty-two percent of churchgoers say their church has some of the liturgical style. Twenty-seven percent say they have no liturgical style. And 24 percent say they have a very liturgical style. Seventy-five percent of respondents said they are satisfied with the amount of liturgy at their church. Thirteen percent want more liturgy, while five percent want less. Surprisingly, younger generations are more likely to want their church to include more liturgy.  California lifeguard saved 10-year-old boy NBC Bay Area reports a lifeguard saved the life of a 10-year-old boy at a California beach this week. Waves were overwhelming the boy at Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz. A 16-year-old lifeguard rushed into the water to save him. Other joined in as well.  The dramatic rescue drew the attention of President Donald Trump. He wrote on X, “We're going to bring this heroic young man, and his family, into the White House with, perhaps, the boy he saved, to give him a High Civilian Honor. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistani Christian 13-year-old girl still captive to Muslim man On July 7, the European Parliament condemned Pakistan for its violation of human rights, citing a 13-year-old Christian Pakistani girl who is still fighting for her freedom from the 30-year-old Muslim man who abducted her, reports International Christian Concern. Maria Shahbaz was kidnapped in July 2025 by Shehryar Ahmad, who forced her to convert to Islam and married her against her will. Alliance Defending Freedom came alongside her parents in their fight to regain custody of their child in Pakistan's Federal Constitutional Court in February. Pakistani law states that a minor cannot legally consent to religious conversion or marriage, but shockingly the court ruled in favor of Ahmad when he presented a forged marriage certificate.  In Matthew 18:6, Jesus said, “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in Me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Shahbaz's parents are not giving up. They are still appealing their daughter's case in court, hoping that justice will swiftly come.  According to Open Doors, Pakistan is the eighth worst country worldwide for the persecution of Christians. Send a polite, 3-sentence letter to Rizwan Sheikh, the Pakistan Ambassador to America, asking that he intervene.  The address is 3517 International Court NW, Washington, DC 20008. Two U.S. soldiers killed in Iranian attack on military base Two American soldiers were killed on July 17th in an Iranian attack on a U.S. military base in Jordan, reports the Western Journal. In a post on X, U.S. Central Command added, “Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged.” Plus, one soldier is missing. Iran's attacks came after the U.S. launched its seventh consecutive night of air strikes on Iran. Iran makes chilling death threats against President Trump Iranian state media has published a shocking video entitled “Where to kill Trump?”, claiming to know the U.S. leader's motorcade route and the vulnerabilities within his security, reports The Express. The highly concerning footage claimed to reveal “information on the whereabouts of the terrorist president of America” while promising that “access to Trump is possible in these places.” It also alleges to give details about the motorcade that protects the U.S. president, which typically consists of 40 to 50 vehicles. It comes after repeated death threats have been made by Iran following the U.S. assassination of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.  President Trump's primetime speech on election integrity Last Thursday night, President Donald Trump addressed election security in a nationwide primetime address from the White House, pointing to ways American political leftists and China have compromised our elections, reports The Epoch Times. TRUMP: “You can't have a great country without free and fair elections. All we want is honesty in our elections. Great damage has been done to our country. Our elections were left vulnerable to being rigged and stolen, and the trust of the American people was lost. This cannot be allowed to continue. “Every American -- whether you're a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or otherwise -- should be able to agree that we deserve the most secure, honest, and fair election system anywhere in the world.” President Trump explained that China started compromising our elections in 2020. TRUMP: “Over a period of years, starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People's Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China's illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files. That information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, political party preferences, and other sensitive data that would be needed to register to vote. “This data loss presents an unprecedented election security nightmare. The intelligence even shows that China assigned a data exploitation unit specifically to this new project.” And finally, President Trump vowed action to hold people accountable. TRUMP: “The documents we will release, starting tonight, have been gathered by the White House Government Transparency Task Force, a great group of people, supported by our top intelligence agency chiefs, who have all personally reviewed the findings we are presenting this evening and fully confirmed their authenticity. “You can see these documents for yourself at whitehouse.gov. That's whitehouse.gov. Go check it out. Our purpose in disclosing this information is not to weaken confidence in election, but to earn that confidence by confronting vulnerabilities and correcting them very, very quickly, and that's what we're doing.” Homeland Security Secretary vows to prosecute illegal voters In related news, during a Friday press briefing, Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin promised to hunt down and prosecute illegal voters in the U.S., noting that 250,000 non-citizens are illegally registered to vote in just four states, reports The Christian Post. Speaking in the wake of President Donald Trump's 25-minute primetime address about election security on July 16th, Mullin outlined an aggressive plan to tighten voter roll integrity, harden election infrastructure, and hold election officials accountable for alleged failures. Senator Marsha Blackburn: No more birth tourism Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee has reintroduced legislation aimed at ending so-called “birth tourism” following the Supreme Court's recent 6-3 ruling in Trump v. Barbara. It held that children born in the United States to illegal aliens and foreign tourists remain entitled to birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment, reports Big League Politics. She said, “Congress must step up to the plate to protect the integrity of American citizenship.” The Ban Birth Tourism Act is co-sponsored by GOP Senators Ted Budd of North Carolina, John Cornyn of Texas, Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Tim Sheehy of Montana, Jim Banks of Indiana, and Rick Scott of Florida. The legislation would amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to explicitly prohibit foreign nationals from obtaining temporary visas for the purpose of giving birth in the United States. It would also classify birth tourism as a deportable offense, allowing immigration authorities to remove foreign nationals who enter the country for that purpose. Samaritan's Purse deployed disaster relief unit for Texas flood victims On July 17th, churches in the Texas Hill Country opened their doors as flood displacement shelters, taking in families whose homes and recreational vehicles had been swept away by rapidly rising rivers that killed at least two people, reports The Christian Post. Recently more than 30 inches of rain fell over several days, causing the Leona River and Guadalupe River to overflow. Floodwaters surged through the streets, destroying homes, and stranding people and vehicles. The Christian relief group Samaritan's Purse said it was deploying a disaster relief unit to the Hill Country, with staff and volunteer teams set to work in Uvalde County. The group said it was basing operations out of Uvalde Methodist Church, with volunteers beginning on Sunday to help residents remove waterlogged belongings and clear mud from their homes.
