Reprising his role from Justice League, Ezra Miller plays Barry Allen who is frustrated after another attempt to help his wrongly imprisoned father fails. Realizing he can run fast enough to travel back in time (farther than he did (or thought possible) in Zack Snyder's Justice League), he plans to go back and save both his parents, despite a warning from Bruce Wayne that he could "destroy everything." Loosely based on the Flashpoint comic, which is a strange story to adapt for his first solo film, The Flash finds himself in a world he doesn't recognize and must figure out a way to set things right again. It is a privilege to welcome actor, filmmaker, and producer Michael Nardelli to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.   Michael made his professional acting debut as Stradivarius Helberg on the TV show Quintuplets. He then co-starred in the independent film The Derby Stallion opposite Zac Efron and the comedy Grassroots with Jason Biggs. Soon after, Michael portrayed a lovesick teenager in the 3-D horror film The Collective. He also had recurring roles on TV series such as American Crime Story: The People versus OJ Simpson, Hart of Dixie, My Name is Earl, Nashville, and Revenge.  When Michael is not on television, he is behind the camera. As an independent film producer, Michael produced the Sundance Film Festival Award-winning Another Happy Day, which starred Demi Moore, Ezra Miller, and Kate Bosworth and the Tribeca Film Festival selected The Giant Mechanical Man, which starred Jenna Fischer, Topher Grace, Malin Akerman, and Bob Odenkirk.   Michael Nardelli became a household name when he produced and starred as Eric in the 2015 Netflix science fiction horror film CIRCLE. Co-starring Julie Benz and Carter Jenkins, the film is a bizarre mashup of 12 Angry Men and The Twilight Zone, where a room full of 50 strangers realize they control who will be the ultimate survivor. The high-stakes setup of the game within the film led to a heated cross-section discourse of the human conditions and all the hot-button issues dominating the early twenty-first century headlines. CIRCLE was screened at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con and Savannah Film Festival, and the 2015 Seattle International Film Festival highlighted the film as a part of its Catalyst program, highlighting exciting new filmmakers.  In 2019, Michael produced and starred in Amazon Prime Video's Dark/Web. The series focused on a genius programmer's mysterious disappearance, which led to the reunion of old friends. The discovery of strange stories she left behind may indicate an impending technological crisis. Today on The Neil Haley Show Neil "The Media Giant" and co-host Dr Robert Marx interview Jesse McCartney. Born April 9, 1987 in Ardsley, New York, to Ginger and Scot McCartney, Jesse began his career in theater with a national revival tour of The King and I with Hayley Mills (1997/98), and a notable New York Production of A Christmas Carol (1998) with Roger Daltrey. Jesse got the part of 'Adam Chandler Jr.' on the show All My Children for which he would eventually Emmy nominations in 2001 and 2002. After a brief stint in a children's musical group Sugar Beats, and later in teen boy band Dream Street, Jesse was signed as a solo artist to Hollywood Records. He released his first full length album on September 28, 2004. His song, "Beautiful Soul" was an instant hit and the album of the same title was certified platinum on February 24, 2005. His Departure album yielded another smash single, "Leavin'," landing him a #1 spot on the charts and was Top 40 Radio's most played song of of the year. His next single "How Do You Sleep" also charted in the top 10 in the following year. His songwriting credits include co-writing the smash "Bleeding Love" for singer Leona Lewis, which was a #1 hit in 34 countries; the only song in over a decade to achieve this status. It also won ASCAP's song of the year and was nominated for a Grammy Award. In addition to starring in Keith, which won five international film festival awards, McCartney's film credits include the Tribeca Film Festival's darling Beware The Gonzo (opposite Ezra Miller) and Oren Peli's Chernobyl Diaries. McCartney has voiced numerous animated characters for films, video games, and television series including all of the Alvin and the Chipmunks films, Horton Hears a Who, Kingdom Hearts, and Cartoon Network's Young Justice.

A clear departure from Marvel's typical airtight protocol. Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire enjoyed a $194 million global debut last week, enough to place it as the third highest grossing film of the year after just one weekend of release. The movie is the fifth film in Legendary's MonsterVerse franchise, which includes the recent Apple TV Plus series, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. Though not connected to recent Oscar winner, Godzilla: Minus One, this opening clearly shows a renewed interest in all things Godzilla. Star Trek's Kelvin Timeline, that is the Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana-led and JJ Abrams-produced films, may be getting a fourth and final film, as Steve Yockey has been added as a screenwriter. Yockey is best known for creating the Max series The Flight Attendant, starring Kaley Cuoco. Three previous screenwriters had been attached to the project, including WandaVision showrunner and Fantastic Four director Matt Shakman. Star Trek hasn't been on the big screen since 2016's Star Trek: Beyond, but has enjoyed a lot of success with various streaming series. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer went two for two the last couple of weeks here on Multiverse News. Last week teasing a return of the Pirates franchise and now a possible third film in the National Treasure franchise, all during his promotion of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. While his comments were vague, they were optimistic – speaking to his confidence in an unnamed writer working on a script that only needs Nic Cage's approval. The Mandalorian and Quantumania actor Katy O'Brian has been cast in Mission: Impossible 8. Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson and frequent collaborator C. Robert Cargill, will adapt a new version of the acclaimed 1953 crime novel The Night of the Hunter for Universal. Final Destination Bloodlines has added to its main cast. Brec Bassinger, who starred in The CW's DC series Stargirl, Chucky actor Teo Briones and Dear Evan Hansen stage actress Kaitlyn Santa Juana, The 100 star Richard Harmon, Gotham Knights actress Anna Lore and Owen Patrick Joyner, one of the stars of Netflix series Julie and the Phantoms will all star in leading roles in the sixth installment of the franchise which is now in production. A sequel to the 2003 Disney body swap comedy Freaky Friday seems to be in the works, as Chippendale's director Nisha Ganatra has been attached and stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are currently in negotiations to return. Scream 7 looks to add another series regular after the return of Neve Campbell, with Courteney Cox in talks to reprise her role as Gale Weathers. Ezra Miller was quietly replaced by Eric Bauza for their voice role as a minor antagonist in Amazon's Invincible. Universal Pictures has postponed two Blumhouse horror films. Leigh Whannel's Wolf Man will now premiere on January 17, 2025, three months later than planned. The Woman in the Yard was removed from the schedule, but will be rescheduled. Louis Gossett Jr., the Oscar and Emmy-winning actor known for roles in Watchmen and The Punisher, has passed away at 87. He was the first Black man to win an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for An Officer and a Gentleman and also earned an Emmy for Roots. Chance Perdomo, who starred in the television series Gen V and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, has died as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was 27. A new poster was released for Joker: Folie à Deux along with the tease for an incoming trailer on April 9 by Lady Gaga herself. The film will release on October 4.

The Flash, despite the character's powers, took forever to speed its way to the big screen. Originally announced as part of DC's film slate in 2014, it would be nine long years before it was finally released. During that time, numerous directors and writers were attached and then detached from the project. Ultimately, amid numerous legal troubles, Ezra Miller would return to star and IT's Andy Muschietti would direct. Based loosely on the character's Flashpoint comic arc, The Flash went big with a time-hopping, multiverse tampering tale that would see the legendary Michael Keaton return as Batman for the first time in more than 30 years.
