A significant portion of the conversation centers on their humanitarian work, specifically the establishment of an orphanage in India through their foundation, the Tibetan Aid Foundation. In this captivating episode of the Driving Change Podcast, host Jeff Bloomfield speaks with Dov Baron, a globally recognized leadership expert who explores his powerful personal journey from overcoming extreme adversity to becoming a sought-after coach for world leaders. Dov shares deeply insightful lessons about understanding the emotional source code that shapes our identities, beliefs, and behaviors, emphasizing curiosity, belonging, and genuine connection as foundations for meaningful change. Why You Should Listen: If you're interested in personal transformation, leadership growth, or simply understanding the psychological underpinnings of human behavior and identity, this episode is essential. Dov Baron's candid storytelling and profound insights offer practical approaches to fostering curiosity, challenging deeply-held beliefs, and creating genuine belonging in both personal and professional settings. Top 10 Takeaways: Your emotional source code deeply influences your identity and behavior. Identity isn't chosen; it's built on the meaning we assign for survival. Real change requires examining and challenging your identity. Curiosity is the key antidote to fear and judgment. Most beliefs are unconscious programming from our environment and upbringing. Real belonging happens when we are accepted authentically, not forced to fit in. Major life events don't inherently change us; our response and reflection afterward do. Tribalism and "othering" are rooted deeply in our survival instincts. Oxytocin can foster both deep connection and intense division. Change is a muscle that must be exercised consistently to overcome fear and resistance. The Prayer of Freedom: God's breakthrough approach to prayer that frees you from many forms of chronic pain, chronic health issues, anxiety, ... addictions and other life challenges by Beatty Carmichael Amazon.com Getradicalfaith.org Discover the Prayer of Freedom: A breakthrough approach to healing and restoration *** Watch our video overview at http://Overview.TPOFBook.com (copy/paste link to your browser)*** What if the solution to struggles in your life – be it addictions, chronic pain, anxiety, relationship conflicts, or more -- were within reach? In The Prayer of Freedom, you'll uncover a groundbreaking approach to prayer that unlocks God's power to heal, restore, and transform lives. Through real-life stories, compelling insights, and practical “hot-to” guidance, this book reveals how you can experience freedom from persistent life challenges. Take Rob and Lilly, for example. After ten years of constant fighting and five years of marriage counseling with no change, they felt hopeless. Then, they applied the Prayer of Freedom. Within 24 hours, their relationship was transformed—arguments ceased and peace filled their home for the first time in years. Today, they enjoy a peaceful, calm and joyful marriage, something they once thought impossible. But what is the secret behind this transformation? The Prayer of Freedom is rooted in spiritual laws found in the Bible—timeless principles that govern how God answers prayers. Author Beatty Carmichael shares his discovery of these laws and how applying them can bring miraculous results. Unlike conventional approaches to prayer, this method focuses on aligning with God's will and addressing the spiritual roots of the problems we face. Imagine seeing long-standing issues—chronic pain, broken relationships, addiction, depression—vanish almost instantly. That's what happened to Whitney, who had suffered from chronic pain for years. After praying using this approach, within one day her pain was gone, all the tension in her body disappeared, and a sense of peace and relaxation replaced years of discomfort. The book doesn't just stop at individual stories. Carmichael provides evidence from his work with students in an addiction recovery center. Of those who completed the Prayer of Freedom, nearly 90% experienced total and complete freedom from their problems, including chronic pain, bipolar disorder, arthritis, depression, anxiety, addictions and more. Even for those who didn't achieve complete freedom, the intensity of their issues dropped significantly. So, what makes this approach to prayer so powerful? Carmichael explains that it's not about magical formulas or special gifts. Instead, it's about understanding and applying spiritual laws that govern prayer. These laws, revealed in the Bible, show how repentance and righteousness open the door to answered prayer by God. The process is simple yet profound... and above all, proven effective! This book isn't about theory—it's a practical, “how-to” guide filled with step-by-step instructions and practical life applications. Whether you're dealing with personal struggles or helping a loved one find freedom, The Prayer of Freedom teaches you the process to see real and lasting change. If you're ready to experience the life-changing power of answered prayer, this book will show you how to turn spiritual laws into spiritual breakthroughs. If you are ready to unlock the freedom you've been searching for, then get The Prayer of Freedom today!

Many people turn to their church for guidance, but what if you don't feel comfortable talking to your pastor? What if the advice you're given doesn't match up with what you know is best for you and your family? What is there is abuse?  In this episode, Kelly Bennett, Esq., continues her conversation with Denny Brewer—a longtime family law attorney, Executive Pastor, and General Counsel at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas. They explore what faith communities often get wrong—and right—when it comes to divorce (hint: especially if there is abuse involved), how to navigate faith-based guilt, what to do if your place of worship isn't the right fit for support, and why mediation can be the best choice for handling divorce for privacy and mental (and financial!) well-being reasons. Kelly and Denny chat about:Why many people feel uncomfortable discussing divorce with their faith leaders Why pastors and religious leaders should ask, “Is there abuse?”How abuse can go unmentioned and lead to tragedy When to seek professional guidance outside of your faith community Why mediation is often a better option than going to court Why there is no better time to embrace faith and lean into prayer than during divorce Plus, a couple of very surprising stories… Dennis Brewer is longtime family law attorney, and executive pastor and general counsel at Texas mega Church Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas. She cared for her health and stayed physically active, yet something unexpected changed her life. She was only 29 when she suffered from a stroke. Luckily, Natalie got immediate medical help when a police officer recognized the symptoms of stroke when he got into Natalie's home. Natalie's road to recovery from her heart surgery has been challenging. It all happened while she was pursuing a Master's Degree and caring for her nine-week-old and two-year-old children. This experience awakened something inside Natalie. She made it her life's purpose to educate, support, and inspire stroke survivors, their families, healthcare professionals, and organizations. She became the voice that tells you to listen to your body. She became the voice that created urgency for taking actionable steps to save lives.  Being crowned Mrs. Illinois and Mrs. Midwest International also gave Natalie a platform for heart health and stroke advocacy. In today's compelling episode of "Father and Joe," hosts Father Boniface and Joe Rockey delve into the nuanced reality of living a life of faith amidst life's inevitable challenges. Joe candidly shares his feelings of inconsistency — balancing a life in faith and buying into Jesus points by living virtuously, while external challenges still cast long shadows over his achievements. This profound discussion explores the tension between the desire for fidelity to God's teachings and the realities of worldly struggles.Father Boniface approaches this topic with depth, wisdom, and empathy, addressing common misconceptions that faithful living is naïve or idealistic. He articulates that true faith requires a delicate balance in navigating life's decisions — whether in moments of temptation or encounters with moral dilemmas — while standing firm in one's beliefs. Through personal anecdotes and examples, Father illustrates that being faithful does not necessitate retreating from the professional or worldly environment. Indeed, successful leaders who exemplify Catholic ethics inspire through their courage to uphold their faith amidst societal pressures.Building on Joe's thoughts on relationships and expectations, the conversation widens to consider the unpredictable nature of human interactions and pressures that define daily life. They discuss how faith acts as an anchor, offering hope amidst the unpredictability of life and motivating courage despite potential negative outcomes in interpersonal exchanges.Listeners are encouraged to recognize suffering as both a reality of life and a pathway to deeper communion with God. Through the Christian lens, trials and adversities are framed as opportunities for growth, resilience, and the expression of authentic faith. In closing, they remind us that faith isn't a guarantee for an easy life but offers the tools to navigate life's struggles with hope and resolve. If I say the word “Fear,” what comes up for you? Do you immediately try to reject the thoughts that arise? Most people do. I coined the term “fear with a backbone,” some time ago. Yet, it wasn't until this week that I was granted a massive a-ha moment that brought perspective to my own life and the work I've dedicated myself to doing since 2016. This episode is not merely about identifying fear, but more so learning how to use your mindset to transform fear into a powerful catalysts for change across all five master areas of your life: mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial. While this is deeply personal, I hope this conversation is as powerful as the moment I received it. KEY TAKEAWAYS: Understanding Fear's Dual Nature Fear is universal; it knows no boundaries or exceptions. However, there's an intriguing dichotomy—fear can either paralyze you or it can be a driving force. Two types of fear: General Fear - Rooted in uncertainties and potential threats. Fear with a Backbone - Stemming from past experiences that have left tangible marks on our psyche and emotional body. It's used as the evidence to keep you held in place, AKA “stuck.” The Power of Choice Three different people's stories align and how it plays out, how two refused to succumb to fear and learned to thrive, and another has let it take them down. I share my battle with a near death experience due to toxic mold taking over my lung. The battle illustrates how mindset plays a pivotal role in overcoming adversities. The focus on gratitude amidst dire circumstances exemplifies resilience at its finest. Practical Applications Mindfulness: Regularly practice awareness around your thoughts/emotions. Positive Focus: Shift attention from negative patterns toward constructive outcomes. Resilience Building: View failures as stepping stones rather than stumbling blocks—they provide clarity about what truly matters moving forward! Mindset as a Tool for Overcoming Challenges: Real-life examples illustrating how mindset shifts can lead to resilience. The importance of gratitude in transforming negative experiences into growth opportunities. Using gratitude as an emotional frequency tool during recovery. Lessons Learned from Others' Stories: Comparing different approaches people take towards dealing with life challenges. How rehearsing positive outcomes rather than succumbing to negativity impacts reality. The Power of Thought Patterns: Training focus away from limiting beliefs towards abundance. – Navigating emotions like joy over anger through conscious thought redirection. Call To Action – Encouragements on practicing positive emotional states regularly. – Understanding that thoughts shape reality; choose them wisely! Notable Quotes: “Fear is real, but so is your potential.” “Your lived experiences do not have to be the frequency you emit.” #GetYourLifeTogetherGirl #FearWithABackbone #MindsetMastery #OvercomingFear #PersonalGrowthJourney #InspirationFromWithin #EasternAndWesternWisdom #DanielleBanPodcast #EmotionalResilience #BreakThroughBarriers #LiveEmpowered #TransformativeConversations #MindBodyConnection Have you checked out the GYLTG Empowerment Hub on Apple? Text us your feedback or questions - we'd love to hear from you.Hey friends, this one's for all the hardworking parents out there trying to figure out how to juggle a busy career and the emotional rollercoaster of divorce and custody. Let's be real: divorce is tough enough, but when you're the breadwinner, it can feel like you're being pulled in a million directions. You've poured a lot into your career—long hours, late nights, sacrificed weekends—and now you're asking, “Is all of that going to work against me when it comes to custody of my kids?” This week, we're tackling the real struggles of balancing work and family during a divorce. I'm breaking it down in plain English, including what the courts actually look for in custody cases and how to set yourself up for success—while staying connected to your kids. Here's what we're talking about: How to build trust with your kids, your co-parent, and the court. Joint custody, sole custody and physical custody - what do these terms really mean and how do they affect you? “Status quo” in custody cases (and why it's a big deal). Parenting plans that actually work for you and your kids. Why staying close to your kids' primary residence could make or break your case for more parenting time. How tech tools can help you stay connected, even when work takes you away. The lowdown on mediation vs. court battles, and how mediation can save you time, money, and stress (while keeping the focus on your family's best interests). If you've ever felt overwhelmed by the tug-of-war between work, divorce court, and quality time with your kids, this episode is your realistic guide to getting through it.   Hosted by Kelly A. Bennett, Esq., a family law attorney and mediator with over 30 years of experience in the family law trenches.   RESOURCES:Struggling to bring up mediation with your ex?
