I had the such an incredible conversation with recently retired Admiral Mike Studeman from the U.S. Navy. His most recent position was as Commanding Officer of the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). Mike started the conversation by encouraging me to ask him all my hard questions. I began by asking him how we could get better using the Coast Guard to compliment our other Maritime Forces around the world which led to some great dialogue about how to engage with the world around us in more meaningful ways. Mike had some inspiring tips for how to prepare for a life in foreign and/or international affairs which could help many of us just be more sensitive to the many cultures we interact with. Mike provided powerful inspiration on using your voice, empowerment, and the importance of character among several other insightful commentaries. Mike described the passion behind his recently compiled manuscript on leadership and shared some highlights from it. Mike points out that the U.S. is facing a leadership crisis and this episode is a must listen to contemplate what we can each do to tackle that in our own spheres of influence with our individual voices. All throughout the episode, Mike illustrates tangible examples while expressing the time to act is now for each of us to start to make a difference in the world around us with these great recommendations!  Mike is an executive leader of major organizations with geostrategic impact and National security expert and intelligence professional with global expertise. He has deep knowledge of the Indo-Pacific and is an inspiring leader  who is able to maximize team performance and achieve results while sustaining high morale. Admiral Studeman had a very distinguished Naval career serving as Commanding Officer of multiple Commandant Commands.  Admiral Michael Studeman is the son of a career naval officer and a 1988 graduate of the College of William and Mary. He is a distinguished graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School, a distinguished graduate of the National War College, and an honors graduate in Mandarin Chinese from the Defense Language Institute. What do you do when you have a team member or contractor who is not meeting their deadlines or keeping their commitments? How do you tactically deal with this issue without it feeling so hard having to address problem areas with your employees?Step 1: Assess the problem Identify the facts of the situation. What is it that has not been done? State it very clearly and factually without any narrative from you (what you think about them for not having done the task)Step 2: Determine if the problem is skills related or behavioral If it is a skillset problem this means they are missing out on a resource or intelligence to complete the task. Maybe they need some more training or direction. Or maybe they need a new tool or computer. If it is a behavior issue this means that they are not lacking ability, they are not performing in a certain manner that is needed to fulfill the job. This could be a lack of manners in dealing with clients or team members. This could be an attitude problem. Step 3: Choose your direction Once you know what type of problem it is, you address it appropriately. If it is a mix of both, skillset and behavior, be sure, to begin with, behavior. Because if someone is not willing to fix their behavior it serves you no good to fix their skills. They are someone who needs to be let go for a better team player. Listen in on the podcast as I break this down more and give you some examples of each type of problem and how you can address them with your team member if needed. Last tip: Don't let problems fester. Address them promptly and directly. I give you some tips in the podcast on this as well, but bottom line you need some clear values and expectations in place for your company and each role, so you can make this easier. If that is something you need help with, join This is Leadership School. We will help you set those up for your team. http://thisisleadershipschool.com/

0:00  We are live. Hey, everybody excited to be on early in the morning or late in the evening across the world with Amanda. So today we're having tea time or water time with a story Weaver. With the story we were asking about the experiences inside the program, and Amanda has been with us from the very beginning. That's why and I mean, it's been an amazing ride. And I'm proud to now caller one of my friends. And so first maybe Introduce yourself shortly Amanda, where you come and how you come came into the story Weaver? 0:47  Hi, I'm Amanda and I have an 11 year old daughter, and we came to story was over in Seattle, USA. And we came to story weavers because the idea of the collaborative and leadership and writing program was just so alluring. I couldn't just walk away, I had to find out more. And I'm really glad that I did. 1:15  So one of our main and we are glad, by the way that you did as well. So one of our core pillars, I would say or that's important to us is that kids apply the information they have in the group setting. That's why collaborative, but also that they take it into their real life. So have you noticed a skill that she transferred from the program and uses it elsewhere as well? 1:48  Yes, yes. 1:50  Good question. I noticed that in the groups, they had it set out for jobs, each child had a job within the team setting. And her job for one of the rotations was to make sure that everyone was on task and that they were hitting their their marks for the day for that meeting. And outside of that I've noticed her really being quite the taskmaster. And okay, what are we supposed to be doing right now. And I want to make sure we hit all of our marks, so I have my reward at the end, she's really become that driving force. 2:30  That's amazing. And that's exactly what the rules are for, in simply being able to experience it experience when you can work in a group setting and actually be the person responsible for that. That's so cool that she goes beyond that and uses it. And I know she's she's perfect at it as I notice it. Myself listening to the group of my, my daughter and and they continuously saying she's like the one let's stay on tack. Let's keep focused, guys. And I think that's, that's so valuable. And she does it in a way that's just amazing. So I remember in in Christmas time, one of the stories that I really love the story weavers that demonstrate the values of the story weavers is in a story where your kid lifts this value. And I know you with the cookie cutter, that's just my hint. So could you explain that story of of the cookie cutter maybe to everyone because I think that really demonstrates of what values we want to also live here. 3:48  Yeah, sure. Of course, that's one of our favorites to show. The group was working on a cookbook project together. And she was really into it and really excited about making these recipes and building out her cookies and putting it all very visually together. And she was like what can we do to this cookie that would make it like better, you would embody this ideal a little bit deeper, and she wanted to make this cookie cutter of the story weavers. And she had worked really hard a few years prior and earned herself enough money to buy a 3d printer. And so we had it's just sitting right next to the kitchen in our little dining area. And she was like, I want to make this cookie cutter. So we designed it together and with help from dad we design we printed out this cookie cutter she made some sugar cookies that were shaped like snowflakes and she pressed the story Weaver 3d prints into it and created story Weaver cookies. And they were delicious. I would I've heard that. 4:57  Story weavers is delicious. 5:00  I was so excited because this value of just doing one step more than expected, I think really drives home the message. That's why next to that, I was excited as one of the founders of story Weaver receiving such an amazing gift I find, I also got super excited from the values behind it, that we have kids and parents in our community that live this quality. So thank you so much for being part. Guys, if you have any questions for a story Weaver, for those who don't know what story Weaver is, it's a secular writing program that focuses on collaboration with other kids teaching communication tools that go way beyond being taught anywhere in the world. So they really learn this Leadership School way. So and as you can see, with an amazing community of driven parents, or gifted or entrepreneurial parents, and as I said, the children are amazing, just the same. So if you want more information, comment down below, reach out to us, and we'll be happy to answer more questions. Or if you have more questions to other story leavers, which we'll be coming alive on here as well then let me know. With that, thank you so much, Amanda, for being on and we'll talk soon. Bye, guys. Transcribed by https://otter.ai

They were lead pastors for over 22 yrs in Albuquerque, New Mexico before going into evangelism and leadership training. Rob has traveled to over 70 nations and trained over 60,000 ministry leaders worldwide. Rob has also sat as the Executive International Director for the Christ of the Nations Bible College and their 40 schools worldwide. Rob and Ginger started and continue to head up Victory World Missions that supports many projects around the world including a hospital in Papua, New Guinea. He also provides the 412 Leadership school for free on his website. He has written several devotionals for the YouVersion Bible app and also host his own podcast. We talk about the issue of depression men are facing in society today and why it has become such a passion of his. Rob explains how suicide is at an all time high and especially in California recent studies showed that the suicide hotline has increased over 8000% during the pandemic and that there have been more deaths in one month from suicide than the six months from covid. Rob tells of a personal experience of dealing with and being diagnosed with clinical depression. We see that in todays society that 1/3 of Americans suffer with some sort of depression. The root is not all physical but a majority is traced back to the Bible of how to get and keep out of depression. It had to be dealt with from a Biblical standpoint.Just as the need to wash the body that gets dirty, we need to also wash our mind of the toxicity of the debris we pickup throughout the day. Rob shares the reference of a plank suspended between two blocks on each end and you begin to layer dirt at the center of the plank that over time  the board can no longer hold the weight and breaks; much like the human soul. This is caused by fear, anxiety, stress,  bitterness, unforgiveness and many other issues. This can then develop into an attitude of being negative  and having resentment.Rob tells that while reading a book on the diplomat from the 1800's by the name of Lawrence Townsend and when a young man asked what was the secret to why God used him powerfully. He took the young man and showed him that he prayed. He took about 15 minutes at the conclusion of each day as if communicating with God to remove from his mind anything that wasn't in harmony with Him and then to fill him with his Holy Spirit.  Rob shared how this moment impacted him profoundly to not just at night remove the toxicity of the dayl, but to start each day by inviting the presence of Jesus each morning to set the stage for your day.The cure for depression can start with thought replacement. God gives us over 7,000 promise of hope in the Bible. Hope is the anchor to the soul and a place of refuge. To say that a situation is hopeless is to say that God is helpless; and God is never helpless, so nothing is hopeless.Men need relationships with other men, because isolation will kill you. We were not made for isolation; we were created to gather together in fellowship. Our life follows our thoughts. Our feelings are the results of your thoughts and then manifest themselves into emotions. If we can change a day, we can change a life of devotion. How can I change? You can't change dramatically, but you can do it for a day. Live for God one day at a time joyfully. Life is an accummulation of days, We need a purpose or we will die in boredom. Our greatest adversity is the evil twins of fear and worry. To counter this we must inject hope into our lives. You are the right man in the right place at the right time!Resources:https://www.robcarman.comThis has a list of weekly devotions and the devotions available on YouVersion Bible app. Also the 412 Leadership School

Who is a prophet? To define a prophet, we must first to precisely understand the spirit that shapes such an individual or entity and then further press to explore the value character that constitutes the framework of his behavioral pattern and passion. Jesus Said, the Spirit of the Lord is upon for he has anointed me. The prophet It is the plumb-line, the measuring yardstick of the Father in the art of justice and judgment. This ministry invites us not just to know and share in the glorious manifestation of the presence of God but also gives us the opportunity to partake of the divine nature of God, so we able to interface with divine things. Luke 1:16-17 Many of the sons of Israel will turn back to the Lord their God. 17 And he will go on before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous— to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” The prophetic is the life and nature of the Father, released and expressed through the consistent lifestyle of Christ. Meaning that, the prophetic in character or behavior must carry and show these characteristics as it has been seen in the life of Christ, and they are: Ø.1 RIGHTEOUSNESS Ø2. PEACE, AND Ø3. JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT These characters are defined as the nature of the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is the revelatory nature of a person. This, therefore, means, that the true nature and life of the prophetic must be revealing FOUR MAIN COMPONENTS, as seen as in the very life and ministry to Son of God, and they are: A. THE WAYS OF CHRIST B. THE TRUTH OF CHRIST C. THE LIFE OF CHRIST D. THE LIGHT OF CHRIST

DEFINING WHO IS A PROPHET THE PROPHET = Is the container, the vessel, the womb, the house, or matrix, heaven employs to keep, sustain, guard, and develop, and deploy his intentions and assignment from the eternal realm into time and space. The prophet is often captured in the symbolic likeness of a pregnant woman who carries a seed that must be jealously guarded for a season before what she carries finally gets delivered through the work of a midwife. The difference however is, prophets usually don’t know how long they are assigned to carry a divine vision; sometimes, it is for a few days, weeks, months, years, or even decades. It all depends on heaven’s program and the degree of obedience, and spiritual understanding of the individual. The unique dealings and pathways the Father takes an individual through in the formation and accurate development of the prophetic spirit or any other ascended grace is made up of the combinations of demands, events, occasions, challenges, tribulations, environment, drilling and training, exposures, general life skill development, and of course, refined character and word-formation within the individual

UNDERSTANDING THE PROPHETIC SPIRIT IN AN AGE OF COUNTERFEIT. SESSION 44 The New Testament ministry or what we can refer to as the birth of the Church according to the book of Acts of the Apostle introduces us to a more precise and relevant approach to what the purpose of the Father longs for in the understanding and operation of the prophetic ministry. 2 Peter 1: 19 We also have the message of the prophets, which has been confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to this message, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. If the New Testament concept or approach to the prophetic is what can be defined as a more excellent ministry, we, therefore, need to clearly define the foundation of what the prophet’s ministry is from this backdrop and examine the core components that establish the framework of the life and nature of the prophetic grace and the ministry from this position. Hence, we should ask ourselves the question, what is then the New Testament approach or footing into the prophetic ministry? 1 Corinthians chapter 12:1-11 In this highlighted verse brother Paul introduces some of the key characters to focus on why we need to study and understand the basic spiritual framework of the Spirit of the prophetic. The prophetic as we shall study latter is a generic term, we use in capturing or expressing the function of the Spirit of God through his prophetic nature or character. REVELATION 19:10 10 At this, I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.” The prophetic nature of God is the operation of the Spirit of the truth, established on his inherent love, holiness, and sovereignty, while the expression of these character components is the instrument of building his intention and the promotion of his eternal objective and purpose for creation and the universe. This is revealed and represented through the two main institutional streams of kingdom establishments on earth, which are marriage and the Body of Christ, often referred to as the ecclesia.

If there’s ever a time where strands of biblical truth are being misinterpreted and abuse for self-gain is today, and we hope that the principles shared in this material will open the eyes of the Saints in a way that will allow them to break free from any form of half-truth being declared out there in the name of the prophetic.

Re-establishing the footing and framework of the prophetic Spirit Post-Covid19 We expect our participants to begin to see the reality of their true, undiluted, spiritual identity and capacity, which should then enhance their ability in the expression of their redemptive, creative-leadership capabilities; for this is the heart of the prophetic spirit. Since the prophetic is a spirit that operates within the framework of the seven-fold Spirits of God, we, therefore, believe that such impartation of knowledge and grace would precisely build a well-seated spiritual philosophy within the hearts of our students, in a manner that allows the Holy Spirit in them to function effectively without confusion, distraction, or even misrepresentation. This is a recap of some of the sessions we have done in the past regarding this teaching. We must move further by next month but let these few sessions be a refresher to some key points that are needed in building and developing the right spiritual framework. We need more than ever before the Spirit of the prophetic to effectively discover and carry out the will and purpose of the Father. REVELATION 19:10 10 So I fell at his feet to worship him. 2020 PROPHETIC LEADERSHIP SCHOOL ORIENTATION CLASS INTRODUCTION. PART 2. The nature of the day’s we’ve been ushered in demands advanced quality spiritual men and women with the precise prophetic diet and apparel that allows them access into the brilliancy of the glorious light of our Lord Jesus appearing amidst the present darkness covering the earth of men. Stepping into the day of the art of living via the life of Christ within the reality of death pervading the earth, demands we are feeding on the tree of life. To feed on this tree, we must deliberately turn from the seductive, deceptive, luring pleasure of what we been taught will give us insight, wisdom, and power by feeding on the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. One of the greatest deceptions this generation of believers has almost bought is to believe that we can learn the wrong things still arrive at the point of divine counsel for us. The attraction of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is on the rise and we are seeing many leaders we once look up fall for this evil. While it’s my desire to impart knowledge, doctrine, theology, it is equally my desire to imprint and impart a spiritual experience that comes through the passion of Christ suffering that I have shared. The challenge of this season, particularly, in times like this where we are exposed to all types of knowledge and information within testing their source is that we can be easily lured into accepting the lie for the truth.

Did you know that one in every four girls fails to earn her high school diploma in four years, and that those numbers are even worse for girls of color? When girls do not complete high school, they experience higher rates of unemployment, earn significantly lower wages, and are more likely to need to rely on public support programs to provide for their families. Research has confirmed that single-sex schools benefit students that are the most educationally at-risk, including girls and minority students. After learning about this, Liz Wolfson had a vision for an all-girls school that would foster academic excellence and personal development for young women. Fast forward many years, and she is now the co-founder of GALS and BOYS, which are tuition-free charter schools and are the only public, single-gender, college-preparatory schools in Colorado, which are now expanding into other states. We sat down with Wolfson to talk education, how she built a school with no history of doing so, and how she has overcome the challenges along the way.

First up, Climactic is going for an Australian Podcast Award, and if we're to have a hope of winning, we need your vote! We have a guide on how to vote for us, and a link to vote, right here. This is the LAST week to vote! Voting ends midnight February 15th! Maiysha is incredible, as a public speaker, a rally organizer, a storyteller. If you're a young person, she's also very relatable, as she's just started her final year of high school. If you're older, that just makes her all the more remarkable. Maiysha's path to activism is easy to follow, and most of us might have had similar experiences. Which poses the question, if Maiysha can do so much, while still at school, why can't we all do more as well? This is a great episode to use to introduce your family, friends, and kids to Climactic.
