Streaming services played an outsized role in rekindling public interest and scrutiny in the Jeffrey Epstein case by making documentaries about his life, network, and crimes widely accessible. Projects like Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich on Netflix showcased survivors' stories alongside investigative reporting, exposing the broader systems of power and complicity that helped shield Epstein from accountability.  Other streaming platforms similarly offered exposés—such as Who Killed Jeffrey Epstein? on Hulu and Prince Andrew, Maxwell & Epstein on Discovery+/Prime Video—which helped sustain media momentum, push archival material into public view, and keep pressure on law enforcement and institutions tied to Epstein. The cultural influence of these streaming documentaries also amplified the voices of survivors and shifted public discourse, creating renewed demand for transparency and legal accountability. For example, Surviving Jeffrey Epstein on Lifetime reportedly triggered a 34 % jump in calls to a U.S. sexual‐assault hotline, showing how media exposure mobilized public attention to issues of sexual abuse and institutional failure.   In many ways, streaming allowed the Epstein story to transcend news cycles—embedding it into ongoing popular awareness and pressuring institutions and legal actors to respond more aggressively.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

For Nolan Emerson, one of those adrenaline-fueled nights turned into something far more chilling: a real encounter with the unexplained. That experience left a mark on him and ultimately shaped his future. What started as a teenage thrill-seeking adventure became a lifelong passion for paranormal investigation, taking Nolan from abandoned spots to some of the most infamous haunted locations in the world — including the Conjuring House. In this episode of The Grave Talks, Nolan shares the story of that first encounter, the moment he realized ghosts were more than just legend, and how it launched him into years of exploring famous and residential hauntings. In this episode, Shawn breaks down the real presentation he gave at the Little Rock meetup. Instead of teaching from a place of mastery, he chose to challenge himself and the men by talking about what he knows he needs to work on: building stronger relationships at home. Based on John and Julie Gottman's book Eight Dates: Essential Conversations for a Lifetime of Love, Shawn shares why intentional connection matters whether you are single, dating, engaged, or married for decades. From trust and conflict to money, intimacy, family, fun, growth, and dreams, these conversations shape the strength of your relationship and ultimately the strength of your leadership and legacy. This episode is not just about marriage. It is about why love is a skill that requires practice, why neglect at home destroys empires, and why strong marriages create stronger men, families, and communities. If you want to lead with impact, it starts at home. Listen in and challenge yourself to have the conversations that will keep your relationship and your mission alive.

Are you looking to save time, make money, and start winning with less risk? Then head to https://www.ovtlyr.com.The stock market is flashing some serious warning signs right now, and if you're not paying attention, you could get blindsided. In this video we walk through the signals that most investors are ignoring, why market concentration risk is a bigger deal than people think, and how OVTLYR's trend template helps you stay one step ahead when bubbles start to form.It all starts with an old lesson from a pig farmer who never lost money in the market. His secret was simple: buy when everyone else is fearful and sell when everyone else is greedy. That timeless principle is at the core of how OVTLYR operates today. Instead of chasing hype, we focus on quality, seasonality, and clear signals that cut through the noise.➡️ Learn why market crashes are normal and how to sidestep them➡️ See why breadth matters when indexes hit all-time highs➡️ Understand the risks of concentration in the “Magnificent Seven” stocks➡️ Discover how to avoid falling for the greater fool theory➡️ Get a simple plan to protect your portfolio with OVTLYR strategiesRight now, indexes like the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are printing new highs, but under the surface, breadth is weak. Only a small group of mega-cap stocks are driving the rally while most stocks lag behind. That kind of divergence has historically been a red flag, and ignoring it can be costly. Add in sky-high valuations, stretched price-to-earnings ratios, and extreme greed readings on sentiment indexes, and you can see why many pros are raising caution. But this video isn't about doom and gloom. It's about preparation. We show how Plan ETF provides a steady approach when individual setups aren't ready. By following a disciplined framework, you can capture gains in trending markets while avoiding the emotional traps that wipe out accounts. The OVTLYR trend template makes it easy: when the 10 EMA is above the 20 and price is above the 50, you're in a bullish trend. When those signals reverse, it's time to get defensive. We also break down why dollar-cost averaging can trick traders into thinking they're lowering risk when in reality they're just tying up capital in underperforming positions. The smarter move is to buy stocks that are “crashing up” with strong momentum and get out of the way when they start crashing down. That's how you trade like a fund manager instead of a normal investor stuck holding through brutal drawdowns.History has shown time and again—from Cisco in 1999 to the Janus Fund in 2000—that ignoring risk during bubbles leads to devastating losses. But with the right tools and mindset, you don't have to repeat those mistakes. This video gives you the insights and strategies to trade with clarity, protect your capital, and stay profitable no matter what the market throws your way.Gain instant access to the AI-powered tools and behavioral insights top traders use to spot big moves before the crowd. They're pricey, but the build quality is excellent. They can usually be found on sale during Black Friday."(02:44) - Cincha Travel belt - this can securely attach any backpack to your suitcase. That way it is always ready to go. They last for a while and can even keep you warm.(08:56) - Osprey travel backpack. Lifetime warranty and YKK zippers. Super comfortable to wear.(09:37) - "For any men looking for great ways to use their Lululemon credits, Lululemon actually has fantastic lightweight travel clothing – ... all my athletic shorts, regular shorts, joggers, pants that I travel with are Lululemon. They're pretty good quality, very easy to pack, and are lightweight, and they look good as well. A bottle opener and SIM card tool on the same keychain for the lock key.(10:54) - The biggest side benefit of UK wall chargers: "On a recent trip to Mexico, my friends and I booked a slightly sketchy Airbnb. Since the patio door didn't have a bar, we scattered the UK chargers we had left over from our Cyprus trip as ersatz caltrops and slept soundly, knowing any intruders would face crippling injury if they dared to break in."(11:48) - "I put AirTags or FindMy compatible luggage tags on all my bags. I also have a FindMy enabled passport wallet and glasses case from Satechi — hopefully I won't ever end up in a situation like Greg when he got his backpack stolen in Chile, but even just being able to track things that are easily misplaced can be a total game changer."(12:14) - "One thing I realized nobody mentioned is a travel router. I have been carrying [a tiny router] for several years, and it has been a real lifesaver on occasion. When I get somewhere that has spotty WiFi reception, I try to find a spot where I can get at least a little reception, plug in the router there, and then I have reception in the whole room. (One time, I had it perched on top of an ice machine down the hall when WiFi was out on the whole floor.) It is also handy for sharing one login among everybody."(13:09) - "For luggage, I love the soft-sided Platinum Elite spinner line from Travelpro. .... What is the emotional cost for the partner who is left behind in the silence? This week, we turn to Bethany's side of the story to understand her experience of being on the receiving end of Brian's threats to leave. We explore the cycle of confusion and anxiety that begins the moment he emotionally withdraws. We journey into the pain Bethany so often holds inside—the feeling of being punished for a crime she doesn't understand, triggering her deepest fears of failure and abandonment. For someone who has never been the one to threaten divorce, this dynamic leaves her feeling like the "bad guy," responsible for a rupture she doesn't know how to fix. This episode reveals the profound shift that happens when pain is shared from a place of pure vulnerability. By giving voice to her sadness and fear, Bethany bypasses Brian's defenses, activating his empathy for the first time and proving that speaking from the heart can build bridges where frustration once built walls. This week's prompt: Reflect on a time you felt left in silence by a partner. What story did you tell yourself in that silence, and what was the core fear underneath it? OVERCOMING 5 OBSTACLES TO EXTRAORDINARY PRAYER | + Discussion on Charlie Kirk Effect, 40 Days for Life at the Abortuary, Toledo Walk for Vocations & “Triumph of the Heart” Movie (Ep. 482)In this episode, Greg and Stephanie continue reflecting on the Charlie Kirk effect—what his life and tragic death reveal about the wounds of our culture and the urgency of living faith boldly. We share our privilege of viewing Triumph of the Heart, a powerful new film on St. Maximilian Kolbe, and recount the second annual Toledo Vocation Walk, where three priests trekked 70 miles in four days as a witness of prayer and sacrifice. We also speak from the front lines of 40 Days for Life in Toledo, standing in prayer before the abortuary, interceding for mothers, fathers, and children. From there, we open the Gospel for this Sunday and dive into the theme: Obstacles to Extraordinary Prayer. Christ prayed with a depth that was more than words—it was intimate communion with the Father. That same extraordinary prayer is available to us, but so often we are blocked by distractions, wounds, transactional thinking, fear of vulnerability, and forgetfulness of eternity. Each obstacle comes with its own whispered lie, and each can be overcome by grace, Scripture, and concrete practices.Join us as we name five common obstacles that keep us from deep prayer and uncover the steps to overcome them, so our marriages, families, and homes can be resuscitated by the living presence of God.Timely other Links:My Crisis Magazine article today: America at the Edge of Awakening: Faith, Disorder, and the Forgiveness That Could Save a RepublicWorship Song: Over the Storm (A Tribute to Charlie Kirk)My book, our present-day plight, predicting so much of all this nearly 2 years ago: The Magnificent Piglets of PigletsvilleThis is not a time to sit back. Who came up with the idea that the middle of the road is the right place to be?  Regular listeners to Mitch Goldman's Deep Focus know that it's those shadowy corners, those Edge Cities, where new things start to happen. And who embodied this idea more than drummer Tony Williams' late sixties supergroup, Lifetime?     Lifetime inspired another supergroup in 2008 when guitarist Vernon Reid and bassist Jack Bruce (himself a member of Lifetime) formed Spectrum Road with drummer Cindy Blackman and keyboard conjurer John Medeski.  Did these 4 masters of many musical disciplines present faithful recreations of Lifetime's original recordings?  Or did their live shows start where Lifetime ended, and end up in the highest towers of their own Edge City?     Mitch's guest, guitarist Ben Tyree, knows the answer.  Ben has shared stages with and drawn inspiration from at least 2 of these 4 innovators.  He credits John Medeski with inspiring his life-changing move to New York City.     And will the WKCR archives yield live, unreleased recordings that will bear him out?  We don't know ourselves, and the suspense is just killing us!   Find out Monday (9/1) when Mitch Goldman and Ben Tyree plunge into the vast WKCR archive.  Deep Focus airs Mondays from 6p to 9p NYC time on WKCR 89.9FM, WKCR-HD, or wkcr.org.   Or join us when it goes up on the Deep Focus podcast on your favorite podcasting app or at https://mitchgoldman.podbean.com/.  Subscribe right now to get notifications when new episodes are posted.  It's ad-free, all free, totally non-commercial.  We won't even ask for your contact info.   Learn more about Deep Focus at https://mitchgoldman.com/about-deep-focus/ or join us on Instagram @deep_focus_podcast.   Photo credit: no publishing information available. #WKCR #DeepFocus #TonyWilliamsLifetime #SpectrumRoad #JohnMedeski #VernonReid #CindyBlackman #CindyBlackmanSantana #JackBruce #/BenTyree #JazzRadio #JazzPodcast #JazzInterview #MitchGoldman #TonyWilliams #JazzRockFusion

After you escape the grind, you realize the grind is YOU, and the work has just begun. Shelley and Matt share how crisis-mode and productivity hacks kept them reactive—and what changed when they chose a self‑sustaining creative practice over the fool's gold of trying to do it all, all at once.In this open, honest discussion, we look at why mainstream productivity culture fails creative people—and what actually works instead.Shelley describes realizing her Hollywood career was akin to an “abusive spouse”. After she chose to step away to write her novel, her biggest achievement wasn't logging more hours, it was moving from punishing deadlines to presence, using “marbles in a jar” to measure engaged time and pulling the Creative Focus Workshop “ripcord” to recenter herself when she got off track.Matt shares how 100-hour weeks in tech and spinning in endless “preparation” felt productive but in fact kept him from writing. When he (finally!) chose a single project, he created steadiness and progress he could trust. We talk about “finish and ship” as the foundation of art as communication, why the Motion AI calendar that postponed lunch until April is the clearest sign yet that productivity hacking is a dead end, and how short, ten‑minute sessions beat perfectionism because you discover better questions once you're in motion. If you're stuck in reactive mode, or drowning in “optimizing,” this conversation gives you simple, human practices to return to your work and keep going. Why “crisis‑competence” isn't a creative practiceThe exact moment Shelley realized the Hollywood grind was “an abusive spouse,”How “marbles in a jar” beats self‑punishment when you're stuckWhen to pull the ripcord and return to Creative Focus“Finish and ship” as the completion of an act of creative communicationThe fine line between useful tooling/worldbuilding and sophisticated procrastination“I teach productivity, but I hate ‘productivity'” — e.g. the Motion AI calendar that tried to schedule lunch in April. The value of ten‑minute sessions over painstaking perfectionYour Next StepIf you're ready to swap punishment for presence with your creative work, and actually finish, watch the free Creative Engine workshop. Following the regulatory changes that led to a 30% drop in express volumes from China/Hong Kong, DHL surges customs agent hiring as new tariffs confuse importers. Despite sourcing diversification driving double-digit growth from countries like Vietnam and Mexico, DHL Express is forecasting an unusually muted peak season lift of just 20% to 25%, down significantly from the typical 40% to 50% jump. Domestically, we dive into the contentious legal battle over California's Advanced Clean Trucks Rule (ACT) as the Federal goverment fires back in court over California waiver cancellation. Owner-operators, who face astronomical repair costs like $21,000 for emissions equipment on a $30,000 truck, argue that these standards dramatically drive up operating expenses, leading major associations to back regulatory rollbacks, as noted in Truckers back Trump's emissions rollback at EPA. The soft freight market highlights the intense need for financial agility, illustrated by a recent small carrier filing for Chapter 11, where their lawyer stressed that the cash needed for operations “doesn't generate itself”. This scenario emphasizes why the reliance on factoring services is now a critical lifeline for many smaller outfits struggling in the current economic environment, as detailed in Small carrier's bankruptcy spells out need for factoring. We examine how the annual corn harvest creates a short but lucrative peak season for Midwestern carriers, relying heavily on the FMCSA agricultural commodity exemption to maximize hours and earnings, as explored in How the corn harvest season changes freight networks across the Midwest. Finally, we analyze the structural shifts impacting the rails following the Union Pacific/Norfolk Southern proposed merger, where a union job guarantee meant to secure support is being widely warned against by former executives, as heard in Rail merger: Lifetime job is great “until you are stuck in it”. Wipe your slate clean of everything you *think* you know about the pet rock. You'll marble (err, marvel) over its true history! Its inventor, Gary Dahl, thought he'd created a novelty gift that was set in stone. Imagine his surprise when the pet rock's popularity began to crumble. Maybe he shouldn't have taken it for granite? Ehh?? Get it?? In this episode, Kristin also addresses the often-asked question about whether she's still friends with her former Let's Go To Court co-host. Shift Your Perspective: More Optimistic Energy | Experience Another Lifetime | Seer Sessions #222With optimism, I like to add some discernment. I don't like the idea of blindly pretending everything is ok and it feels safer to be optimistic along with the intentional practice of deciding what is for us and not for us. To me optimism feels like energy. Discernment feels like a protection of that energy. When we can feel this way in another lifetime, it can turn it on/up in this life time. An activation of sorts.Recline back, listen to this hypnotic journey, observe what comes to mind, and let this journey be an experience that opens your eyes to all the good, bright, light, high frequencies around you.Perspective is the filter through which we experience life. It colors everything we experience or notice around us and within us. A hypnotic journey like this one can change your perspective (and how you feel about your life)  INSTANTLY.Creating change can happen without external help. The only expense is your time and energy. Research has long shown that child abuse and neglect can and often do lead to a wide range of negative effects on a person's life, including mental, physical, and behavioral problems. This kind of treatment during childhood causes stress that alters the way the child's brain develops, affects gene expression, and changes the body's stress response system. Kate Russell is the author of three memoirs about her life, describing her painful experiences in detail, from living with a schizoaffective sister to suffering addiction and subsequently recovering. Her most recent book, Ironing Out My Life: Child Abuse and How It Affected Everything Thereafter, is the third in the series and tells the story of her parents' upbringing, then hers, and the impact their abusive behavior had on her life.Kate is a strong, intelligent, highly resilient survivor, and it was my honor to speak with her for this episode. Links related to this episode:Kate Russell's Amazon author page: https://www.amazon.com/stores/author/B0878ZJK7Q Portrait of a Dysfunctional Family series: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DPY4BFCYDown the Rabbit Hole: A Memoir of Abuse, Addiction, and Recovery (first book): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08785R8S6Voicemails from My Sister: Stories of a Schizoaffective Sibling (second book): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099Y8HF5QIroning Out My Life: Child Abuse and How It Affected Everything Thereafter (third book): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DPM92KW9 Cover photo by Zhivko Minkov on Unsplash.Photos related to today's episode can be viewed on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sufferthelittlechildrenpod You can also follow the podcast on:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sufferthelittlechildrenpodTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@STLCpodMy Linktree is available here: https://linktr.ee/stlcpod Visit the podcast's web page at https://www.sufferthelittlechildrenpod.com. By supporting me on Patreon, you'll also access rewards, including a shout-out by name on the podcast and exclusive rewards. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! For some, the fascination with the paranormal begins with ghost stories or horror movies. For Amelia Cotter, it began with a real-life encounter inside an abandoned mansion just steps away from her father's restaurant. As a child, Amelia was drawn to the crumbling, forgotten structure that loomed nearby. She spent hours wandering its deserted halls and dusty rooms, imagining the lives of the families who once called it home. The mansion wasn't just an empty building — it was alive with mystery, holding secrets just waiting to be uncovered. And then, one day, Amelia realized she wasn't alone. In the silence of that decaying house, she came face to face with someone who didn't belong to the living anymore — a presence she would later call Walter. He wasn't a character from her imagination. He was real, a lingering spirit tied to the mansion. That single encounter would change her forever, igniting a passion for the supernatural that would shape her entire life. This chilling true story marks the beginning of Amelia's lifelong journey into the unknown. What started as a childhood adventure turned into a career exploring haunted places, documenting experiences, and seeking answers to questions most are too afraid to ask. Was Walter trying to warn her? Was he simply attached to the home he once lived in? Or was he one of many spirits bound to that haunted mansion? This is Part Two of our conversation.
