Elsewhere, we were given the first glimpse at IO Interactive's long-in-development James Bond game called First Light, a brand-new Lumines offering from the creators of Tetris Effect, the return of Capcom's seemingly-beleaguered Pragmata, something fresh from Grasshopper Manufacture called Romeo Is A Dead Man, a late-September release date for Silent Hill F, our first look at the sequel to Iga's Bloodstained, and -- yes indeed! -- confirmation of Final Fantasy Tactics coming to PlayStation in just a few months in the form of The Ivalice Chronicles. Thematisch ist es weit entfernt von klassischen Action-Adventures – es erzählt von Magie, Legenden und persönlichen Dämonen, eingebettet in eine stilisierte, fast surreal wirkende Welt. Doch wer das Gamepad in die Hand nimmt, merkt schnell: Beim Gameplay fühlt sich vieles vertraut an. Kämpfe, Kletterpassagen und Rätsel erinnern an bekannte Genregrößen – solide, funktional, ohne große Überraschungen. Genau darin liegt der Reiz: „South of Midnight“ kombiniert das Gewohnte mit dem Ungewöhnlichen. Es erzählt seine Geschichte auf eine neue, mutige Art – aber ohne, dass man sich als Spieler komplett umstellen muss. Der Film bleibt dabei unterhaltsam und actionreich, bietet aber eine spürbar düstere Stimmung und komplexere Charaktere. Trotz der ernsteren Note verliert „Thunderbolts“ nie den typischen Marvel-Charme: Humor, spektakuläre Kämpfe und ein hohes Tempo sorgen dafür, dass es nie zu schwer oder zu trist wird. Ein spannender Neuzugang im Marvel-Universum – anders, aber sehenswert. Wieso machen nun alle so einen Hype um alte Spiele auf der Switch 2? Cyberpunk, RDR2, diese Spiele sollen auf der Switch 2 kommen und damit endlich auf der kleinen Konsole spielbar sein. Hier setzt nun immersive Dubbing mit KI ein. Der Text wird eingesprochen (von echten Menschen) und dann ändert die KI von Flawless einfach das Bildermaterial (!!) so ab, dass es zum Audio passt. This week, James and Grant mainly discuss the big story of the week: Bungie getting caught red-handed stealing more artwork from a smaller artist that was put in their upcoming game Marathon. It is not their first time doing this (or their second, or their third) having been caught stealing other artists work in previous games as well. That came out on top of a Forbes report stating that the environment inside the walls at Bungie is at an all-time low. Is this just another bump in the road for an already massive pothole filled highway for Marathon. Is the game doomed to fail before it even gets preorders out? The guys spend most of the episode on that story, but then switch over to something a little bit more positive with a brand new Helldivers update, putting players into more urban locations on Super Earth! In today's Daily Fix:Red Dead Redemption 2 could be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 port, according to sources close to Rockstar Games. The port would be the first for a Nintendo console, with the first Red Dead Redemption getting a Switch 1 port in 2023, 13 years after it first debuted on the PS3 and Xbox 360. The RDR2 Switch 2 port would also coincide with a current-gen PS5/Series X|S port. In other news, Fortnite's Star Wars crossover event just dropped an AI-powered Darth Vader that reacts to what you say to it. And of course, gamers have found a way to make Vader make some NSFW words (which was quickly patched out). And finally, Hideo Kojima doesn't want mortality to stop him from releasing games. He's setting up a plan to leave his studio, Kojima Productions, with some unfinished game ideas in the event of his passing.

On the dissecting table are LAST OF THE MOHICANS (1992), WAY OF THE GUN (2000), and MOSUL (2019).Scott is a consultant for the film, television, and gaming industries. He grew up in a family of antique arms and armor dealers and mentored under one of the world's premier military historians, Dennis Showalter. Scott holds a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree, the latter from Norwich University, specializing in both European and Japanese medieval weaponry. His career began in England as an antique arms buyer, and he has since lectured on historical and theatrical combat at Dartmouth, Loyola Marymount University, CalArts, University of Georgia, and DeSales University, among others. Scott is a graduate of the Orange County Sheriff's Regional Training Academy, is a California DOJ Certified Firearms instructor, and has 20+ years of training with modern firearms and tactics. He has trained extensively with former and current LAPD SWAT officers and former US Special Forces members. Additionally, Scott works as an 911 responder EMT. Scott's study of historical weapons and combat opened avenues in the theatrical world. He achieved degree certificates from the Baliol College (Oxford University), Circle in the Square (New York City), and teacher training from Shakespeare & Co (Massachusetts). After traveling for several years teaching and performing on Broadway, the National Shakespeare Company and Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festivals, Scott moved to California, where he continued acting, teaching and consulting on various productions. He holds a current California Entertainment Firearms Permit. Some of his credits include 50 YEARS ON THE DMZ and BIBLE BATTLES for The History Channel, INDIAN COWBOY and the BBC America drama COPPER. He was a weapons adviser for the popular video game RED DEAD REDEMPTION. Scott has worked with such notable talents as Tim Roth, Ron Perlman, Placido Domingo, Mercedes Ruhel, Anthony LaPaglia, Benny “The Jet” Urquidez and Richard Lawson.
