So I've been with Sarah over 18 years. In that time we have watched probably hundreds of horror movies. We've both got a stomach for even some of the more “hardcore” films the like of High Tension and Martyrs. Heck – we watched A Serbian Film in theaters at Fantasia. But there was always one movie that was too horrific for her to ever consider watching. That film? Gremlins. Why? “Because they pop out of the toilet.” For years I have tried to tell her that first of all, that's Gremlins 2: The New Batch and that second of all: she's a grownup now and hard as that hit when she was a kid there is just no way that scene bothers her anymore. Well, it took 18 years but after listening to the “What Went Wrong” podcast episode of Gremlins she finally decided to watch it with me. Damn that movie is great. More unhinged puppets in films please. We also watched Backrooms but honestly there's so much more to say about Gremlins if I'm being honest.  I also went to Osheaga and we talk about that a little but you can listen to a whole episode of the show I do with Sarah if you want to know more about all that. Anyways, over on Garbage Time Scott has discovered modern video games. He played through Red Dead Redemption and his eyes were opened. Video games are a lot different now. Even a game that is 13 years old is still drastically more involved and has better storytelling than the games he was playing circa 2001. Remember Scott, 2001 was 25 years ago. Crimson Desert is the most talked about Game of 2026. It's insane scope, coupled with deep combat and incredible graphics surely make it a candidate as one of the highest scoring games of the year. Well, that is not the case, so we sent Adkins to find out what is really going on under the hood.From Knockout Kings, to Ready to Rumble to Fight Night, boxing games were once a staple of a gamers diet. However, as the sport spluttered and MMA rose to prominence, they seemed to fall by the wayside. In 2024, enter Undisputed and their attempt to bring back a Boxing video game. Biff decided to step into the ring and report back on what to expect.  Mixtape fired out the blocks as one of the highest rated games of the year. Critics cited its incredible soundtrack and emotional narrative as a potential new watermark. As time went on, the scores corrected themselves and Mixtape was snarled up in some controversy. Adkins cuts through all the noise to deliver the final verdict.With GTA VI closing in, Paper decided it was time to catch up on a gap in his Rockstar Games shame list. Paper rewarded himself with Red Dead Redemption 2. Seen as one of the greatest games of all time, this 2018 release is still being spoken about today. We're talking all about Survivor's 50th Season Premiere because I got invited to be a part of a Q&A panel for the show tonight with former stars of Survivor! Guess being on Fox's The Floor finally paid off, eh? Huge thanks to Matt Bischoff and Little Miami Brewing for putting this together. I brought in Lucky, as he's the biggest Survivor fan that I know; we talked about the show, we talked a little strategy, but we REALLY talked about all kinds of fun international fruits that we tried here. Turns out, we should learn a little more about picking ripe fruit before the show starts!
