Graeme MacQueen - The 2001 Anthrax Deception: The Case for a Domestic ConspiracyAug 8, 2023Ed Oppeman is joined by author, academic and researcher Graeme MacQueen to reflect on the 9/11 and anthrax attacks, why those events still matter today and why there remains such a stigma in many circles when it comes to questioning the official stories of those events. The 2001 anthrax letter attacks in the United States killed five people and wounded dozens. They were widely blamed on extremist Muslims and their backers and used to support the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. They were also used to justify and hasten the passage of the USAPATRIOT Act, which was being presented to Congress just as the firstanthrax victim grew ill.In October 2001, one of the hypotheses that gained ground was that ofthe Double Perpetrator, the claim that al-Qaeda was carrying out the attacks with the support of Iraq. Much evidence was put forth to support this Double Perpetrator hypothesis but independent scientists soon discovered that the anthrax spores came from a domestic lab in the US serving the military and intelligence communities, not from al-Qaeda or Iraq. The FBI then quickly claimed that an individual was responsible for the attacks and began noisily looking for this “lone wolf.” In 2008 the Bureau named Dr. Bruce Ivins of the US Army Medical Institute of Infectious Disease as the “anthrax killer.” Although the FBI remains committed to the Ivins hypothesis, the case has been disintegrating for the last three years. Currently, it is justly held in contempt not merely by scientists who worked with Ivins but by many journalists as well as several US senators .But this raises the question: if Ivins did not commit this crime, who did? This book presents evidence to support the following points:(a) The anthrax attacks were carried out by a group of perpetrators, notby a “lone wolf.” The attacks were, therefore, the result of a conspiracy—by definition a plan by two or more people, made in secret and resultingin an immoral or illegal act.(b) The group that carried out this crime consisted, in whole or in part, ofinsiders deep within the US state apparatus.(c) These insiders were the same people who planned the 9/11 attacks(d) The anthrax attacks were meant to facilitate a seizure of power by theexecutive branch of government through intimidation of Congress andUS civil society. They were also designed to achieve public acquiescenceto and support for the redefinition of US foreign policy, replacing the ColdWar with a new and aggressive global conflict framework, the Global Waron Terror.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.
In this high-impact broadcast, the hosts dissect Donald Trump's bold international moves as he attempts to reassert America's dominance on the global stage. From a trillion-dollar investment deal with Saudi Arabia to confronting the fallout from Biden's foreign policy, the conversation lays bare the stakes of U.S. diplomacy and economic survival. The show explores the dramatic shift in global alliances, the looming threat of BRICS nations undermining the U.S. dollar, and Trump's controversial negotiations with questionable Middle Eastern actors to protect American interests. Meanwhile, at home, the dialogue turns sharply toward domestic politics, highlighting rising public confidence in Trump, Democratic Party infighting, and a cultural shift toward praising American values. With sharp critiques of both parties and an unflinching look at geopolitical realignment, this episode offers an eye-opening narrative of economic necessity, strategic compromise, and the fight to keep America leading—not lagging—in a rapidly changing world.
In this 21WIRE LIVE midweek edition, host Patrick Henningsen speaks with guest Freddie Ponton about Trump's Neocon exhibitionism in Saudi Arabia this week, finishing the life's work of career criminals like John McCain and Hillary Clinton by legitimizing the Al-Qaeda/ISIS terrorist leader in Syria. We also probe the real issue behind the region's nuclear negotiations, and why Israel could upend all of it. On August 15, 2016, then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump delivered perhaps the most clear-eyed speech ever given by such a political figure about the grave threat posed by, and the necessity of countering, “Radical Islamic Terrorism.” He condemned its animating ideology rooted in “Sharia law,” which he promised to use “ideological warfare” to defeat. Mr. Trump pledged “a new approach, which must be shared by both parties in America, by our allies overseas, and by our friends in the Middle East…to halt the spread of Radical Islam.” That approach is especially needed now, following his trip to Qatar – the nation whose enormous wealth is relentlessly weaponized to spread Radical Islam and the Sharia-supremacism at its core. Ditto his sanctions-ending meeting with a Syrian president who was – until recently – a leader of al Qaeda and the Islamic State. Paging Candidate Trump. This is Frank Gaffney.

Josh Sigurdson reports on the real reason President Donald Trump went to the Middle East and made major deals with Syria, Qatar and the Saudis. Only days after absurd stories came out claiming Donald Trump was splitting with Netanyahu and Israel, Trump signed a 1.2 trillion dollars economic pact with Qatar, one of the main countries arming Iran which Trump just spent 1 trillion dollars funding military efforts against (the largest military budget in US history). Trump also signed a $600 billion investment pact with Saudi Arabia which is in the middle of leaving the US dollar for BRICS+. Trump also signed a pact with Syria's Al Qaeda leader al-Jolani, a puppet of Israel. He is now lifting sanctions on Syria. Alongside the world leaders in the Middle East, the main investment deals made were in artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology. As we have been saying for years, this is about a technocratic shift from the west to the east. Trump is meeting with those creating the new global governance system. BlackRock's Larry Fink, OpenAI's Sam Altman, Elon Musk, Karp of Palantir. This couldn't be more blatant. The deal that was made would involve the shift into a total technocracy worldwide with digital IDs, CBDCs, AI militarism and the end to human independence as has been laid out by The World Economic Forum. As western civilization inevitably falls, they need to make it appear as though there was a fight. In reality, that which appears as being part of a fight is actually the very replacement system meant for the inevitable collapse. This is why Elon Musk just sold X to X-AI for $33 billion and is establishing a social credit based digital ID system. This is why the trade war is happening, allowing the manufacturing shift and the need for food and grid rations. But let's all just keep sitting on our hands and thinking massive military spending and AI takeover of jobs is "winning." Get prepared today. Stay tuned for more from WAM! Welcome to the jetstream, where elite criminal impunity flies above laws and accountability. Russian mafia expert Olga Lautman joins Gaslit Nation to connect the global dots on oligarchy in the White House. We start with Qatar, a small but powerful gas station dictatorship, and a leading financier of terrorists. Once diplomatically isolated for its links to fellow terror-state Iran as well as groups linked to Al-Qaeda and ISIS, Qatar has been back in business, brokering nuclear talks with Russia and Iran, investing billions with the Kremlin, propping up Hamas, and gifting Trump a $400,000 luxury jet, dubbed a “flying palace.” National security risk? Absolutely. Surveillance threat? Almost certainly. Bribery? Looks like it. But what is Qatar getting in return? Qatar, the second-largest buyer of U.S. weapons, after its nemesis Saudi Arabia, recently secured a $2B U.S. arms deal, thanks to Trump. It also invested $10 billion in a Texas-based natural gas venture that requires federal oversight, under Trump. Andrea and Olga go through all the ways Trump and Qatar enjoy kleptocratic quid-pro-quo, and years of Trump's Middle East-linked corruption that illegally helped him come to power in 2016, enriching him and his family, Kremlin-style. This week's bonus show, available for subscribers at the Truth-teller level ($5/month) and higher, looks at ways to stay grounded and fight back in the deliberately engineered chaos of oligarchy and its firehose of corruption. Donald Trump has met the interim Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa -- a day after Washington announced it would lift all US sanctions placed on Syria. The meeting, which took place in Saudi Arabia, is seen as a significant moment for the new Syrian leader, who is a former jihadist, once linked to al-Qaeda. A resident of West Bengal, Shaw was in Pakistani custody for 21 days, during a time of heightened border tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The 73rd battalion of the BSF is deployed in the area. His return marks a resolution to the cross-border incident that had drawn national concern.Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar clarified on Tuesday night that no merger discussions have taken place between his faction and the Sharad Pawar-led NCP. Speaking at a weekly party meeting in Mumbai, Ajit Pawar addressed his legislators directly, urging them not to believe merger rumors. He emphasized transparency and assured them there was no confusion on his stance. The clarification comes amid growing speculation about reunification, which has sparked political buzz ahead of upcoming elections in Maharashtra.India's Operation Sindoor precision strikes destroyed nearly 20% of Pakistan Air Force infrastructure and multiple fighter jets, official sources said Tuesday. The strikes targeted key bases like Sargodha and Bholari, which housed F-16s and JF-17s, in retaliation to Pakistani drone and missile attacks. Over 50 people, including Squadron Leader Usman Yusuf, were killed in Bholari. India also hit ammunition depots and several other airbases across Pakistan. Satellite imagery confirmed major damage. The strikes mark a significant strategic and psychological blow to Pakistan's military capabilities.US President Donald Trump met Syria's interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa in Riyadh after unexpectedly lifting all sanctions on Syria's Islamist-led government. The move, revealed Wednesday, represents a sharp turn in US foreign policy. Sharaa, a former al Qaeda commander who ousted Assad and later renounced extremism, has led Syria since December. The meeting occurred during Trump's Gulf tour, which also included $600 billion in Saudi investment pledges and $142 billion in arms deals. The shift has drawn criticism from Israel and US officials concerned about Sharaa's militant past.At least 48 people, including 22 children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Jabaliya in northern Gaza between Tuesday night and early Wednesday. Hospitals, including the Indonesian Hospital, reported high casualties from strikes that hit residential zones. The attacks followed the release of an Israeli-American hostage by Hamas, briefly raising hopes of de-escalation. Israel had issued evacuation warnings, citing Hamas military targets in the area. However, many civilians remained. The Israeli military declined to comment. The strikes have intensified international concerns about rising civilian casualties in Gaza. That's all for today. John Kiriakou - The Reluctant Spy: My Secret Life in the CIA's War on TerrorLong before the waterboarding controversy exploded in the media, one CIA agent had already gone public. In a groundbreaking 2007 interview with ABC News, John Kiriakou called waterboarding torture—but admitted that it probably worked. This book, at once a confessional, an adventure story, and a chronicle of Kiriakou's life in the CIA, stands as an important, eloquent piece of testimony from a committed American patriot. In February 2002 Kiriakou was the head of counterterrorism in Pakistan. Under his command, in a spectacular raid coordinated with Pakistani agents and the CIA's best intelligence analyst, Kiriakou's field officers took down the infamous terrorist Abu Zubaydah. For days, Kiriakou became the wounded terrorist's personal “bodyguard.” In circumstances stranger than fiction, as al-Qaeda agents scoured the streets for their captured leader, the best trauma surgeon in America was flown to Pakistan to make sure that Zubaydah did not die.In The Reluctant Spy, Kiriakou takes us into the fight against an enemy fueled by fanaticism. He chillingly describes what it was like inside the CIA headquarters on the morning of 9/11, the agency leaders who stepped up and those who protected their careers. And in what may be the book's most shocking revelation, he describes how the White House made plans to invade Iraq a full year before the CIA knew about it—or could attempt to stop it. Chronicling both mind-boggling mistakes and heroic acts of individual courage, The Reluctant Spy is essential reading for anyone who wishes to understand the inner workings of the U.S. intelligence apparatus, the truth behind the torture debate, and the incredible dedication of ordinary men and women doing one of the most extraordinary jobs on earth.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.
Live from Saudi Arabia, this broadcast dives into Donald Trump's aggressive foreign policy strategy as he meets with global dignitaries, tech titans like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, and Saudi leadership. The conversation explores the contrast between Trump's high-paced diplomacy and Biden's prior handling of Middle East affairs—highlighting the Biden administration's alleged softness on Al Qaeda and the weakening of U.S.-Saudi ties. The hosts argue that Trump is reasserting American influence by aligning with Saudi Arabia against China and Russia, restoring the petrodollar system, and leveraging U.S. military and technological power as bargaining chips. With sharp critiques of both Democratic and Republican spending policies, the episode frames Trump's visit as a turning point in global economic warfare and geopolitical realignment.
In this special episode of ThePrint WorldView, Dr. Swasti Rao, foreign policy expert and consulting editor, is joined by Kabir Taneja, Deputy Director of Strategic Studies and Fellow for the Middle East at the Observer Research Foundation. The conversation delves into the strategic and ideological forces behind the Pahalgam terror attack, examining how groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Al-Qaeda, ISKP, Hamas, and the Taliban continue to influence the region. Kabira Taneja unpacks the complex web of transnational networks, their evolving tactics, and their reliance on modern funding channels like crypto. The episode critically assesses India's counter-terror response, especially in light of Operation Sindoor, and highlights the limitations of diplomatic tools like dossier diplomacy. It also questions the effectiveness of international frameworks such as RATS under the SCO, suggesting that India's approach may need to move beyond multilateral rhetoric toward more assertive, sustained strategic measures. #pahalgam #indiapakistan #indpak #indopak #pakistan #indianarmy #modi

Read Djene's piece in Compact Magazine here: https://www.compactmag.com/.../neoliberalism-with.../... For many Syrians, the events of December 2024 had a surreal quality. After nearly a decade and a half of brutal civil war, it had seemed that the regime of Bashar al-Assad had fended off any serious challenges to its authority. Assad and his supporters may not have been able to deliver a killing blow to the various opposition forces in the country, but they had managed to confine them to the country's periphery. That all changed in late November, when Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a Sunni Islamist group led by former al-Qaeda militant, Ahmad al-Sharaa, launched a lightning offensive from its stronghold on the Turkish-Syrian border, which brought an end to more than half a century of Assad family rule within a matter of weeks. Blerim Skoro is a Kosovo-born former CIA operative whose life took a dramatic turn after deserting the Yugoslav army in the 1990s. Arriving in New York as an asylum seeker, Skoro's journey led him from a drug trafficking conviction to becoming a key informant for the FBI and CIA post-9/11. Posing as a radicalized Islamist, he infiltrated al-Qaeda networks in the Balkans, Middle East, and Pakistan, providing critical intelligence. Join Jim and Greg for Wednesday's 3 Martini Lunch as they discuss the mounting economic pressure on China from President Trump's new tariffs, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp's decision not to challenge Sen. Jon Ossoff, and explosive findings that the Taliban is making billions selling abandoned U.S. weapons and vehicles to terrorists.First, they welcome reports that Trump's 145 percent tariffs are already hitting China hard—forcing many companies to pull out of the U.S. market, threatening millions of Chinese jobs, and sparking public protests over unpaid wages. But will this lead to any major concessions from the communist leaders in Beijing?Next, they react to Gov. Kemp's announcement that he won't run for the U.S. Senate in 2026. Kemp matched up far better against Ossoff than any other likely Republican candidate. They examine why Kemp decided not to run and what the Senate race will look like without him. Finally, they unload on new findings from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), revealing that the Taliban is making billions by selling the military equipment the U.S. abandoned in Afghanistan to terror groups, including Al Qaeda affiliates. Jim and Greg blast both the Biden administration's epic failures and empty promises, warning that this predictable disaster now poses grave new threats. Please visit our great sponsors:This podcast is sponsored by BetterHelp. The U.S. has sent people it has detained — people it calls terrorists — to a prison overseas — indefinitely. This is true in 2025, after the Trump administration deported at least 261 foreign nationals to a maximum security prison in El Salvador. And it was also true two decades ago, following the attacks of Sept. 11, after the U.S. government began to house captured Taliban and al-Qaida fighters in the military prison at the U.S. Naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.During the George W. Bush administration, John Yoo wrote the legal justification for the treatment of Guantanamo detainees, now widely referred to as "the torture memos."Yoo argues that there are key legal differences between what the Bush administration did – and what the Trump administration is attempting in El Salvador. For sponsor-free episodes of Consider This, sign up for Consider This+ via Apple Podcasts or at plus.npr.org.Email us at considerthis@npr.org.Learn more about sponsor message choices: podcastchoices.com/adchoicesNPR Privacy Policy

This week, Tim Stearns and Buddy Jenkins are back in the studio for a wild mix of stories including a youth pastor whose joke during a message went horribly wrong, a parent meeting that ended in disaster, a hide-and-seek game that turned into a real-life robbery, and a camp moment so awkward it left a leader speechless. Plus, you'll hear what happened when a student face-planted into a table mid-game, a gift idea that triggered legal trouble, and why one youth group had to drive home with cardboard for a van window…See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In its ongoing mission to shrink the federal government, the Trump administration has cut more than a thousand jobs and billions in research grants from America's crown jewel of medical research - the National Institutes of Health. While other administrations have tried to downsize the NIH before, leaked Trump administration documents show plans to reduce the NIH budget by more than 40 percent, sending shockwaves throughout the scientific community. Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi sits down with the former director of the NIH, Dr. Francis Collins, as well as a researcher and an NIH insider who all say these measures could jeopardize the health of Americans for generations to come. Evidence has emerged that could change our understanding of the 9/11 terrorist attacks more than two decades ago. A 60 Minutes investigation has found that crucial information, initially turned over to the FBI shortly after the attacks, was never shared with the bureau's own field agents or senior intelligence officials. Correspondent Cecilia Vega reports on this evidence, which has come to light amid a lawsuit against the Saudi government filed by families of the nearly 3,000 victims and includes a video of a Saudi national filming the U.S. Capitol, thought to be al-Qaeda's fourth target. The world's population may have recently surpassed eight billion, but it's a misleading figure. Growth is unevenly distributed, and many countries are experiencing a decline in population—in some cases, steeply. Consider Japan. The country with the fourth largest economy is now facing a rapidly declining birth rate, and a population projected to shrink in half by this century's end. Correspondent Jon Wertheim reports from Japan, examining how these demographic changes are affecting the country and its culture. Tune in here to this Thursday's edition of the Brett Winterble Show! Brett kicks off the program talking about the importance of interviews and open conversations, especially during a time of political transition. He expresses frustration with how the government handled COVID-era spending, arguing that trillions were wasted and taxpayers were disrespected. Brett emphasizes that Americans deserve to keep more of their earnings before the government takes its share. He criticizes both Democratic and Republican leaders for failing to be accountable and highlights how working-class citizens bear the brunt of poor policymaking. We're Joined by Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy to discuss his strong support for President Trump’s trade and immigration strategies, praising his efforts to renegotiate global trade deals and secure the U.S.-Mexico border. He criticizes past administrations for weak policies and defends Trump’s tough stance on China, calling it long overdue. Ruddy also highlights the recent success of Newsmax’s IPO, sharing that the network raised $300 million and is now trading under the symbol NMAX. He touts Newsmax’s growth across cable, streaming, and mobile platforms, emphasizing its commitment to independent, family-friendly programming. We're also joined by bestselling author and legal commentator Scott McEwen. Known for his military insight and hit book American Sniper to discuss recent shifts within the FBI and DOJ, expressing optimism that biased leadership is being replaced and public trust is being slowly restored. The conversation turns to cultural trends, where McEwen notes a resurgence of patriotism in Hollywood. He shares that there's growing interest in turning his work into films, reflecting an appetite for content that celebrates American values. we're also joined by Bill Roggio from the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies and Long War Journal to discuss the state of global terrorism and U.S. national security. Roggio warns that while public focus has shifted to threats like China and Russia, jihadist groups such as al-Qaeda, ISIS, and the Taliban remain active and dangerous—especially in places like Afghanistan, Somalia, and across Africa. He criticizes both Republican and Democratic administrations for sidelining the long fight against terrorism, citing recent decisions to negotiate with or lift sanctions on known terrorists. Roggio emphasizes that ungoverned regions in Africa are becoming breeding grounds for extremism, predicting that more countries could fall to jihadist influence. He urges U.S. policymakers to remain vigilant, stressing that these threats do not disappear just because they are out of the headlines. More analysis can be found at longwarjournal.org. Finally we're joined by by Gordon Chang (@GordonGChang) to discuss the Trump administration’s first 100 days—focusing heavily on the evolving U.S.–China relationship. Chang gives President Trump high marks for confronting China’s massive trade surplus and implementing tariffs to rebalance global trade in America's favor. He notes that although China could theoretically weaponize its U.S. debt holdings, doing so would hurt its own economy. Chang warns that China is retaliating through less conventional means—highlighting Beijing’s past interference in American civil unrest, including evidence of counterfeit currency, weapons parts shipments, and TikTok propaganda during the 2020 George Floyd protests. He believes China is using similar tactics today, especially in fueling pro-Hamas content and possibly stirring campus protests. With Trump building trade alliances to isolate Beijing, Chang stresses that America must remain vigilant against China’s economic and psychological warfare. Late last year, Syrian opposition forces captured Damascus and put an end to the regime of Bashar al-Assad. The Syrian dictator, whose family had ruled the country for more than 50 years, fled to Moscow. Across the country, Syrians celebrated. Assad's fall exposed the brutality of his regime, including gruesome discoveries in government prisons, tens of thousands of disappeared people, and mass displacement. But the group that replaced it also has a record of violence—and a former affiliation with al Qaeda and the Islamic State. Welcome to Counterpoint. Each week, we look at one pressing question facing world leaders—from two opposing points of view. Today, we're tackling the question: Is Syria on a path to realizing the hopes of the revolution? With us to make the case for viewing Syria's new government with skepticism is David Adesnik, the vice president of research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Arguing that Syrians are capable of securing a democratic future for themselves is Alia Malek, a journalist, former civil rights lawyer, and the author of The Home That Was Our Country: A Memoir of Syria. Counterpoint is hosted by Sasha Polakow-Suransky, a deputy editor at Foreign Policy. The show is a production of Foreign Policy, in partnership with the Doha Forum. Learn more about your ad choices. In Chapter 13 of The Book of Trump, Ghost turns his focus to one of the most misunderstood figures in modern geopolitics: Bashar al-Assad, the “Lion of Damascus.” This epic solo deep dive traces Assad's rise from London-trained eye surgeon to defiant Syrian leader, revealing how Western-backed regime change efforts, globalist proxy wars, and pipeline politics converged to ignite the Syrian Civil War. Ghost connects the dots between U.S. and Israeli-backed jihadi proxies, the CIA-funded White Helmets, and the 5C infrastructure vision Assad proposed to create economic unity across the Middle East, before the Arab Spring was weaponized to destroy it. With receipts endorsed by General Flynn, Ghost breaks down the propaganda, chemical weapons psyops, and false flags used to justify toppling Assad, exposing the international coalition that fueled ISIS and Al-Qaeda's rise in the region. Weaving together history from Lawrence of Arabia to the Sykes-Picot betrayal and the current-day gas wars between Qatar and Iran, this episode places Syria at the heart of a global struggle for sovereignty. It's not just Assad they want gone, it's anyone defying the uniparty's monopoly on power. A must-listen for those ready to challenge the mainstream narrative and rediscover the truth behind the war on Syria.
Behind the celebrated image of Jimmy Carter as a Nobel Peace Prize-winning humanitarian lies a presidential legacy that demands closer examination. This revealing conversation with historian Robert Buzzanco challenges the sanitized narrative of Carter's presidency, exposing how he functioned as a crucial transitional figure between postwar liberalism and the full flowering of neoliberalism under Reagan.Buzzanco methodically dismantles popular misconceptions, documenting how Carter accelerated Cold War tensions rather than reducing them. While Nixon had pursued détente with both China and the Soviet Union, Carter reversed course, supporting the genocidal Khmer Rouge, working with apartheid South Africa against liberation movements in Angola, and initiating support for the Mujahideen fighters who would later evolve into Al-Qaeda. These military interventions reveal a hawkish president whose actions directly contradict his later humanitarian image. On the domestic front, Carter's presidency marks the beginning of neoliberal economic policies that would reshape American society. His administration aggressively pursued deregulation across multiple industries, appointed inflation hawk Paul Volcker to the Federal Reserve, sidelined labor unions, and rejected government intervention when factories closed in the Rust Belt. These policies accelerated the decline of working-class living standards and laid the groundwork for Reagan's more explicit dismantling of the New Deal consensus.Perhaps most strikingly, Carter's political transformation after leaving office represents one of the most remarkable second acts in American political history. The same man who collaborated with China to punish Vietnam later won the Nobel Peace Prize and wrote "Palestine Peace, Not Apartheid." Understanding this contradiction helps illuminate broader patterns in American politics, where Democratic administrations have repeatedly embraced corporate-friendly policies while facing pressure to move rightward after electoral defeats.Have we been too quick to sanitize Carter's legacy because of his admirable humanitarian work? What does this selective memory tell us about our political culture? Listen now to this thought-provoking deconstruction of a presidential legacy that continues to shape our world today. You can find Robert Buzzanco's work:https://www.counterpunch.org/2023/03/02/jimmy-carter-is-a-liberal-saint-now-was-a-war-criminal-then/https://afflictthecomfortable.org/https://creators.spotify.com/pod/dashboard/episodesSend us a text Musis by Bitterlake, Used with Permission, all rights to BitterlakeSupport the showCrew:Host: C. *A Statement From The Executive Directors* At the Archewell Foundation, we: Show Up, Do Good. Our values are an extension of those of our founders, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Our funding and grant support extends to individuals and organizations of all walks of life with varying political views, cultural beliefs, ideologies, and identifications. We do not discriminate. We believe change comes from building bridges. We welcome all. We do not, however, tolerate any form of hate speech, including hate-fueled symbols, language, or imagery—no matter the community it targets. For us, association with the blending of the Star of David with a swastika, is impossible to accept. Additionally, language that calls for the destruction of others, whether explicitly or implicitly, crosses a line. It is not aligned with our values: we are pro-humanity, pro-love, pro-peace, pro-equality. Out of respect for all of our partners, a responsibility to our donors, and in reflecting the values of our Principals, we make adjustments to our future funding accordingly. We remain deeply committed to our work with Muslim-led organizations and refugee support programs through The Welcome Project and relief efforts in Gaza. Ravaged by political corruption, decades of mass murder, unfettered human trafficking, and a spiraling fentanyl crisis, Mexico is a “fragile narco-state,” says Brandon Darby, co-founder of Breitbart's Border and Cartel Chronicles. While Mexican media and journalists are silenced by fear of cartel retribution, Darby has spent years exposing atrocities like the mass graves found miles from our southern border, giving a voice to a nation ignored and terrorized into silence. Darby criticizes U.S. diplomatic efforts focused on reforming Mexico's justice system and depicts a U.S.-Mexico border rife with lawlessness and violence, urging Trump to enact border policies that “treat the cartels like we treat al-Qaeda” and not to forget that “China is courting Mexico.” For more of Brandon's reporting, visit: https://www.breitbart.com/author/brandon-darby/ GLENN'S SPONSORS American Financing American Financing can show you how to put your hard-earned equity to work and get you out of debt.
