Yesterday. Donald Trump, yes THAT Donald Trump former President of the United States officially launched his “special purpose acquisition company,” SPAC for short. The purpose of which is to start a new series of social media platforms, designed, quite frankly, to compete with some of the existing platforms which threw him off. Platforms like Twitter and Facebook and Google. Google isn't strictly speaking a social media company, but they've had their own agenda.
Former President Donald Trump announced that he is launching a new social media app named Truth Social. The app will launched through a SPAC named Digital World Acquisition Corporation ($DWAC). After this news was announced the stock rallied more then 300%. The CDC just announced that they approved the booster shot for people who received the Moderna and Johnsons & Johnson vaccine. They announced that the booster can be mixed with these two vaccines but did not mention the Pfizer vaccine. The Fed announced a plan to ban policy makers from trading individual stocks. This means that politicians will not be able to trade single stocks and can only trade bonds and mutual funds. Also under this ban, policy makers will have to receive special permission to make those trades and must hold the funds or bonds for at least one year. WeWork went public to today with an IPO through a SPAC.
Yesterday DWAC, Digital World Acquisitions began trading at roughly $10 per share. But it shot through that level in a heartbeat. And before you could say, Donald John Trump, it doubled in price. Then doubled again, and finally finished the day up by a factor of fivefold.

In our inaugural episodes of season two, we begin with a two-part interview with Jason Miller. Jason is an American communications strategist, political advisor and CEO of GETTR, a conservative social network alternative to Twitter. Jason is, perhaps, best known as the chief spokesman for the Donald Trump 2016 presidential campaign and transition of former President Trump. In this episode we will discuss GETTR and the issues of free speech, social media censorship, and the digital town square. In part two, we will discuss the 2020 presidential election, The Big Lie, and the events of January 6th. Guest Jason Miller CEO, GETTR Former Senior Advisor, Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America Contributor, Newsmax TV Jason Miller launched free speech social media platform GETTR on July 4th, 2021, and under his leadership the platform reached 1M users in only three days – the fastest growth for a social media platform of all time. GETTR now has more than 2M users globally, with a motto of “Free Speech, Independent Thought and Superior Technology,” and a promise to never deplatform or censor anyone for their political beliefs. GETTR's tremendous growth has been fueled by an international desire to oppose cancel culture and declare independence from the Big Tech oligarchs in Silicon Valley, as well as an unparalleled guerrilla marketing campaign. The importance of GETTR's emergence as a cancel-free platform was highlighted at the end of Mr. Miller's September 2021 trip to participate in CPAC Brazil. As he attempted to fly home to the United States, Mr. Miller and his traveling party were detained for three hours and questioned about the purpose of their visit, on orders from a politically minded Justice of Brazil's Supreme Court. Though they were not accused of any wrongdoing and eventually released, the episode proved that enemies of freedom are everywhere: First they try to take your freedom of expression, then they try to take your freedom itself. Before launching GETTR, Mr. Miller served as Senior Advisor to Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America, where he quarterbacked President Trump's successful 2021 Impeachment Defense Team, and before that he served as Senior Advisor to President Trump's 2020 campaign and Senior Communications Advisor to President Trump's 2016 campaign. Mr. Miller also served as Communications Director for the Trump Transition Team. In addition to his earlier work managing campaigns for U.S. House, U.S. Senate and Governor, as well as serving as a Chief of Staff on Capitol Hill, Mr. Miller has more than two decades of corporate communications, public relations and policy expertise advising clients on how to deal with the intersection of politics, policy, financial markets and the media. Mr. Miller has also provided extensive high-profile litigation communications support. Mr. Miller currently serves as a Contributor for Newsmax TV, offering political analysis and insights for the Make America Great Again movement, the 2022 mid-term elections and policy debates in Washington, D.C. A native of Seattle, Washington, Mr. Miller is a graduate of The George Washington University. He lives with his wife and two daughters in suburban Washington, D.C. 092: Managing a Design and Social Media Company WITH DARLA POWELL AND NATALIE GRAFE On the podcast, today are Darla Powell and Natalie Grafe of Darla Powell Interiors and Wingnut Social. Together Natalie and Darla manage multiple businesses (design, podcast, social media, fire-fighting, and a family business.) We are going to discuss how they started these businesses, how they don’t do it alone and have delegated with a team approach, and how they schedule time to pull away from the business. We are also going to talk a little about social media, some of the changes that have been happening and how to get started if you have more time than money. Hope you enjoy the podcast. Topics Mentioned: Managing resources Social Media Consistency Personal time Key Thoughts: You know, the first business that I started I didn't start with a plan. I didn't start with any plan at all. - Michele (10:39) I think that's one of the biggest things that I've learned being in business for myself, is that you cannot be rigid. - Michele (12:51) I absolutely, totally see Tic Tock taking over Instagram and some of the other ones in the in a few years. - Darla (17:00) You want to keep your brand voice consistent and you want to post consistently. You don't really want to go absent for a long time. - Darla (20:04) Even if you're a brand new designer, go decorate a corner of your house, do a couple of pictures that are your own…but not every single picture should be of somebody else's pics on your feed. - Michele (24:34) Natalie and I, right now, are working on our systems and processes and getting them to such a place where if we are gone for two weeks, we don't have to look at emails. - Darla (34:01) It's not that we would assume that every single person that is an interior design would all of a sudden go start a podcast or start a coaching company or a social media company, but I will say that has been one of the beautiful things for me being in this industry for 20 years. - Michele (40:32) Think about how much more money you will make as a rainmaker than sitting in front of your computer trying to figure out the latest change in whatever it is. - Darla (47:05) Contact Michele Email: Team@ScarletThreadConsulting.com Facebook: Scarlet Thread Consulting Instagram: @ScarletThreadATL Contact Darla and Natalie Website: http://wingnutsocial.com/ Instagram: @wingnutsocial Facebook: Wing Nut Social References and Resources: Clockwork by Mike Michalowicz The Designers' Inner Circle - Become a Member Today

Ep #27: There are a lot of people posting stuff on different media, so it’s easy to get lost among them. Content marketing is a powerful tool, but to get people attention you need to be creative with the content you post. Let’s get creative with this episode too. Instead of one guest, as usual, I want to introduce you to two great guys who started small, but found their online voice and now share how they did it, and you too can do to stand out with your online content. In this episode, Andrew and Pete share how to stand out with your online content. Andrew and Pete are the fun content marketing duo who help solopreneurs and small businesses to create insanely shareable content that builds brands people love, through their membership community - ATOMIC. They won the 'Digital and Social Media Company of the Year Award', and also 'Business Personality of the Year Award'. As international keynote speakers, they have been featured on sites such as Social Media Examiner, Entrepreneur on Fire, Convince and Convert, Kim Garst and Huffington Post, and are authors of the hit books, 'The Hippo Campus' and 'Content Mavericks'.
