Dear Friends, What if your life is not linear… but happening across multiple dimensions at once?In this episode of Gateways to Awakening, Yasmeen Turayhi sits down with Patricia Walls, author, teacher, and founder of Earth Woman LLC, to explore the nature of multidimensional reality, light language, and the hidden architecture of consciousness.Patricia shares a radically expanded perspective on time, revealing that past, present, and future are not separate, but coexisting experiences. Together, we explore what it means to live across timelines, how intuition operates beyond logic, and why so many people are beginning to awaken to a deeper, more expansive awareness of reality. The conversation moves into the Hall of Records—an inner space where your soul's experiences are stored—and how accessing it can allow you to release contracts, shift timelines, and reclaim your agency. Patricia offers a live, guided experience into this field, opening a doorway into self-inquiry and energetic sovereignty. We also dive into light language as a universal, pre-verbal form of communication—one that transmits frequency, healing, and information beyond words. Patricia explains how it works, why it affects everyone differently, and how it reconnects us to a more original state of being. In this episode, we explore:- What it truly means to live in a multidimensional reality- Why time may not exist the way we think it does- The role of free will in shaping timelines and outcomes- How fear blocks higher possibilities and aligned decisions- What the Hall of Records is and how to access it- Releasing energetic contracts, patterns, and subconscious imprints- Light language as a frequency-based, universal communication system- How to strengthen intuition and trust your inner knowing-Energetic sovereignty, boundaries, and working with unseen forcesYou can learn more about Patricia here: https://patriciawalls.net/Tune in to Gateways to Awakening for more conversations with leading thinkers, creators, and spiritual pioneers shaping the future of consciousness. We would love to hear from you! I claim my body, my mind, my energy, and my field as my own.No force, seen or unseen, no influence, agreement, or attachment has permission to override, manipulate, or diminish me. I release all agreements—known and unknown— that were made in confusion, fear, survival, or unconsciousness. They are null and void now. I call all of my energy back to me— from every person, place, timeline, and experience.Clean, clear, and restored. I return all energy that is not mine to its rightful place, without attachment or entanglement. My field is sovereign. My will is clear. My presence is anchored. I choose alignment with truth, clarity, and integrity. I choose to stand in my own knowing.Only what honors my highest good may enter, connect, or remain.Everything else dissolves. I am self-led. I am self-sourced. I am sovereign. And so it is

This episode of Wisdom of the Body, "When You're Between Two Versions of Your Life," explores the disorienting experience of feeling disconnected from yourself even when nothing is obviously wrong. Author and Ayurvedic practitioner Heather Grzych reflects on life transitions, identity shifts, emotional numbness, burnout, and the feeling of being "stuck" or lost during periods of internal change. Drawing from stories in spiritual traditions, including from the Book of Genesis, she examines what it feels like when your body, emotions, and sense of self begin changing before your external life catches up. If you've been searching for answers about why you feel different lately, why your life no longer feels fully aligned, or why you feel emotionally unsettled despite functioning normally, this episode offers a deeply human perspective on transition, uncertainty, and becoming someone new before you fully understand who that is. Heather Grzych, ADLC is an American author and teacher of Ayurvedic medicine who was formerly the president of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and the head of product development for a multi-billion-dollar health insurance company. Heather's first book, The Ayurvedic Guide to Fertility, has sold thousands of copies worldwide, and her writing has been featured in Sports Illustrated, Yoga Journal, and the Sunday Independent. Dr. Mark Ettensohn explains why narcissistic personality disorder is often misunderstood online—and how complex trauma, shame, attachment wounds, and identity shape pathological narcissism. Narcissism has become a buzz word on social media. It has moved from a psychological understanding to a term that is used for blaming, scapegoating, and other emotionally charged narratives. This polarization has led to casting someone with narcissist traits as a villain who is intentionally cruel, manipulative, and beyond help. While those with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) can exhibit difficult or even harmful traits, social media has erased the distinction between mental illness and moral defect. One clinician cautions that this "narcisso-sphere" content contributes to the despair of an already vulnerable population and even suicidality among those who identify with the diagnosis. On this episode of Transforming Trauma, host Emilly Ruth welcomes Mark Ettensohn, Psy, D. Mark is the founder of Heal NPD, a clinical and educational platform focused on the understanding and treatment of narcissistic personality disorder. His work explores the developmental and relational roots of narcissism, including trauma, dissociation, and identity. Mark is also the author of Unmasking Narcissism: A Guide to Understanding the Narcissist in Your Life and shares widely followed educational content through his Heal NPD YouTube Channel. Transforming Trauma thanks Mark for sharing his expertise with our community. His empathetic approach to NPD invites curiosity over confrontation and genuine relational support over social media simplification. Françoise Everett is a transformational mentor, certified Woman-Centered Coach, and specialist in women's identity transformation. She is the founder of ELLE Unleashed – a living body of work and lifestyle devoted to women ready to move beyond pressure, self-doubt, and fragmentation into lives organized around coherence, clarity, and soul-led authority. With over a decade in global consulting and 15 years in transformational work, Françoise brings a rare integration of structural precision, energetic attunement, and embodied wisdom. Her work is centered on what she calls The BEYOND Era – a profound reorientation of identity, priorities, and perception that often emerges during the midlife years. Through her philosophy of Elegant Self-Leadership™, she guides women to dissolve internal pressure, stabilize self-trust, and make decisions from alignment rather than obligation. Her programs, immersive experiences, and private mentoring create spaces where fragmentation softens, authority strengthens, and life reorganizes around a woman's natural rhythm, power, and presence.Françoise's work is deeply informed by her own season of reorientation, a period of exhaustion, questioning, and soul-level inquiry that revealed a defining truth: this stage of life is not a descent into diminishment, but an initiation into deeper coherence, clarity, and self-possession. Her guiding conviction is simple yet radical: Women are not here to decline. They are here to divine. Today, she supports women in embodying that knowing – living with clarity, pleasure, and refinement while expanding, rather than sacrificing, their vitality, creativity, and relevance.Contact Francoise Everett:https://www.instagram.com/francoisehauseneverett/https://www.instagram.com/ELLEunleashedhttps://www.facebook.com/fheverett/https://www.linkedin.com/in/françoise-everett/https://www.francoiseeverett.comDr. Kimberley LinertSpeaker, Author, Broadcaster, Mentor, Trainer, Behavioral OptometristEvent Planners- I am available to speak at your event. You made the declaration. You were serious. And then you blew it anyway. That's not a willpower problem. That's a root problem. In this episode of Account for Your Life, I get vulnerable about a mistake I made — one I promised God I wouldn't make — and what it exposed about a weed that had been sitting dormant at the foundation of my life for years. I'm walking you through the story of Peter: a man who declared he'd die for Jesus and then denied Him three times before sunrise. Sound familiar? Here's what we dig into:Why your declarations fail — the hidden root system underneath your stuck points in business and lifeWeeds vs. roots — why dormant sin is more dangerous than the sins you're actively fightingThe Peter principle — how shame keeps you stuck and what repentance (changing how you think) actually unlocksThis isn't theory. I lived this. And God showed me that the perfecting process isn't something you push through on your own — it's something He does in you.Don't skip this one. The weed at your root is waiting for its moment. This episode might help you see it before it rears its head.
In this episode, we dive into the story of Mary and unpack what it really looked like for her to say a wholehearted “yes” to God. We talk about how Mary responded with trust instead of fear when the angel Gabriel told her she would carry Jesus, and how her curiosity and surrender opened the door for God to move in miraculous ways. From the stable in Bethlehem to the foot of the cross, Mary's life reminds us what it means to faithfully follow Jesus through the beautiful, confusing, ordinary, and heartbreaking moments. We also get super honest about the tension of trusting God when life feels unclear. From navigating relationships and fear to letting go of control and choosing faith over anxiety, we reflect on how Mary continually brought her heart to God instead of running from Him. If you're in a season where you're asking God for clarity, courage, or deeper trust, we hope this conversation leaves you feeling encouraged to lean in closer and say yes to wherever He's leading you. This episode continues the Heal NPD Seminar Series with Dr. Mark Ettensohn, joined by his associates Deanna Young, Psy.D., and Danté Spencer, Ph.D. In this session, the group discusses the paper “Living with Pathological Narcissism: A Qualitative Study” (Day et al., 2020), which examines narcissistic personality pathology from the perspective of partners and family members. Unlike most research on narcissism, this study does not rely on self-report or clinician ratings. Instead, it draws on qualitative descriptions from over 400 individuals in close relationships with someone exhibiting high levels of pathological narcissistic traits. These accounts provide a window into how narcissism is experienced interpersonally, particularly in intimate and long-term relationships. The discussion focuses on the study's central finding: that pathological narcissism is best understood as a system characterized by the co-occurrence of grandiosity and vulnerability. Loved ones described patterns of entitlement, arrogance, and need for admiration alongside insecurity, hypersensitivity, emotional instability, and chronic feelings of emptiness. In the majority of cases, these features were not separate “types,” but fluctuating states within the same individual. The group explores how these findings challenge common assumptions about narcissism, including the tendency to equate it with overt grandiosity or interpersonal abusiveness. Particular attention is given to the limitations of DSM-based models, which emphasize observable traits while underrepresenting the internal dysregulation and vulnerability that define the disorder. The conversation also examines broader relational and developmental themes, including: The oscillation between grandiose and vulnerable self-states The role of dissociation and splitting in personality organization The impact of early attachment trauma and “empathic failures” How narcissistic dynamics are expressed and amplified within close relationships The tendency for polarized, dehumanizing narratives to emerge in response to relational injury Finally, the group discusses the concept of “narcissistic abuse,” noting that while experiences of harm in these relationships are real and often significant, the term itself is not a well-defined clinical construct. The discussion emphasizes the importance of distinguishing between lived experience and explanatory frameworks, and of maintaining a nuanced, non-reductive understanding of personality pathology. Key themes include: Pathological narcissism as a dysregulated self-state system The interdependence of grandiosity and vulnerability Limitations of categorical and trait-based models of narcissism The relational expression of personality pathology The role of trauma, attachment, and development in narcissistic adaptation Clinical implications for assessment, formulation, and treatment This series is intended for clinicians, trainees, and viewers seeking a nuanced, clinically grounded understanding of narcissism beyond popular discourse. This episode continues the Heal NPD Seminar Series with Dr. Mark Ettensohn, joined by his associates Deanna Young, Psy.D., and Danté Spencer, Ph.D. In this session, the group examines the Alternative DSM-5 Model for Personality Disorders (AMPD), a dimensional framework introduced in Section III of the DSM-5 and retained in DSM-5-TR. The model was developed in response to longstanding limitations of the traditional categorical system, including diagnostic overlap, heterogeneity within disorders, and the absence of a clear framework for assessing severity. The discussion focuses on the two core components of the model. The first, Level of Personality Functioning (Criterion A), assesses impairments in identity, self-direction, empathy, and intimacy. This portion of the model reflects a structural approach to personality and aligns with psychodynamic and developmental perspectives on personality organization. The second component, Criterion B, introduces a trait-based system organized around five domains: negative affectivity, detachment, antagonism, disinhibition, and psychoticism. These traits are derived from dimensional personality research and represent an effort to describe maladaptive personality features in a standardized way. The group explores the strengths of this combined model, as well as its limitations. Particular attention is given to the tension between structural and trait-based approaches, and to the question of whether personality pathology can be adequately captured through trait descriptions alone. Using narcissistic personality disorder as a focal example, the discussion examines how the model emphasizes grandiosity and attention-seeking traits while underrepresenting vulnerability, shame, and fluctuations in self-state. The conversation highlights the importance of understanding pathological narcissism as a system of self-esteem regulation rather than a fixed set of traits. Key themes include: The shift from categorical to dimensional models of personality disorder The distinction between personality functioning (structure) and personality traits (style) Limitations of trait-based approaches in capturing dynamic, state-based phenomena The role of self-esteem regulation, vulnerability, and oscillation in narcissistic pathology Clinical implications for diagnosis, formulation, and treatment Throughout, the discussion situates the AMPD as a meaningful step forward in personality disorder classification, while also identifying areas where the model remains conceptually limited. The session emphasizes the value of structural and developmentally informed approaches in understanding personality pathology. This series is intended for clinicians, trainees, and viewers seeking a nuanced, non-moralizing understanding of narcissism and personality disorders. Dr. Mark Ettensohn examines a growing tendency in public discourse to treat narcissism as a moral category rather than as a psychological construct. The episode explores why this shift occurs and how misunderstandings about the nature of mental illness contribute to it. While many people intuitively apply a medical model to psychological conditions, most forms of mental illness do not operate in simple cause-and-effect ways. Instead, psychological disorders are identified through patterns of thoughts, emotions, perceptions, and behaviors that emerge statistically across populations. Dr. Ettensohn discusses how online discussions about narcissism often move from specific interpersonal conflicts to sweeping claims about an entire category of people. In this process, personality traits, clinical constructs, anecdotal experiences, and moral judgments frequently become conflated. Drawing on both psychological science and his clinical experience conducting diagnostic assessments for narcissistic personality disorder, Dr. Ettensohn explains why diagnosing personality pathology requires careful evaluation and why many individuals labeled “narcissists” in everyday discourse may not have any significant narcissistic pathology at all. The episode concludes by distinguishing several different ways narcissism is commonly understood, and why treating it as a moral category ultimately obscures more than it reveals. Dr. Mark Ettensohn addresses a question that frequently arises in discussions of narcissism and abuse: Is it possible to maintain accountability without dehumanizing? Can someone preserve firm boundaries without abandoning empathy? Dr. Ettensohn clarifies a distinction he often sees misunderstood. When he speaks about compassion toward pathological narcissism or narcissistic personality disorder, he is referring to a cultural and societal stance, not advising individuals to remain in unsafe or harmful relationships. He emphasizes that safety must always come first. If someone is being harmed, the primary question is not whether the other person “knew what they were doing,” but whether the situation is safe and what steps are necessary to ensure protection. The episode explores the gray area between total innocence and calculated malice. Dr. Ettensohn discusses how dissociation and shifting self states can impair consistent self-awareness in personality disorders, while also making clear that impaired awareness is not the same as blamelessness. He examines how behavior driven by triggered trauma states may later be rationalized from a different organizing center of experience, and why this dynamic is often misinterpreted as deliberate manipulation. Finally, the discussion turns to boundaries. Dr. Ettensohn distinguishes kindness from niceness and empathy from permissiveness, arguing that the most empathic stance can sometimes be a firm refusal of access. The episode concludes by asserting that accountability does not require demonization, and that it is possible to reject harmful behavior without reducing a person to a monster. This episode continues the Heal NPD Seminar Series with Dr. Mark Ettensohn, joined by his associates Deanna Young, Psy.D., and Danté Spencer, M.A. In this session, the group examines a recent empirical study titled Coercive Control and Intimate Partner Violence: Relationship with Personality Disorder Severity and Pathological Narcissism (2025). The discussion responds directly to common claims in online discourse that narcissism inherently causes abuse, and asks a more precise question: What does the data actually show about the relationship between narcissism, personality dysfunction, abuse, and coercive control? The study reviewed draws on informant reports from long-term partners and family members of individuals perceived as highly narcissistic. Importantly, narcissism was rated by loved ones rather than self-reported, addressing a frequent critique of prior research. The findings showed no significant association between overall pathological narcissism and abuse, and only weak associations with coercive control. In contrast, overall personality disorder severity showed stronger and more consistent relationships with both abuse and coercive control, but these associations were still mostly weak. The group explores what this means clinically, emphasizing the distinction between personality style (such as narcissistic features) and personality organization or severity. The discussion clarifies why certain narcissistic subcomponents, such as exploitative behavior, entitlement-related rage, and grandiose fantasy, show limited associations with specific forms of harm, while many other narcissistic features do not. Key themes include: The difference between episodic abuse and chronic coercive control Why collapsing abuse into a single personality label is misleading The role of personality severity and impaired functioning across diagnoses The limits of trait-based and moralized explanations of harm Clinical implications for assessment, treatment, and stigma reduction Throughout, the conversation situates abuse as a highly overdetermined phenomenon influenced by many overlapping factors, rather than the inevitable outcome of narcissism or any single diagnosis. The session concludes by emphasizing the importance of dimensional, developmentally informed models of personality over reductive and stigmatizing narratives. This series is intended for clinicians, trainees, and viewers seeking a nuanced, non-moralizing understanding of narcissism, personality disorder severity, and relational harm. Dr. Mark Ettensohn examines the experience of emptiness in narcissistic personality disorder and other forms of personality pathology. Rather than approaching personality disorders as collections of traits or behaviors, the episode frames them as disturbances in identity. Dr. Ettensohn outlines how the sense of self is constructed through early relational experience and how disruptions in that process can lead to unstable, fragmented, or underdeveloped self-experience. The discussion focuses on the role of dissociation and splitting in shaping identity, and how different self-states may become organized around incompatible relational experiences. In this context, emptiness is not simply a feeling, but reflects aspects of the self that were never fully recognized, mirrored, or integrated in development. Dr. Ettensohn also addresses a common misunderstanding in public discourse, where narcissism is equated with observable traits such as arrogance or entitlement. He explains why these descriptions capture only one part of a broader system involving both grandiose and vulnerable states, and how focusing solely on behavior obscures the underlying psychological structure. The episode concludes with a discussion of clinical implications, emphasizing why treatments that focus only on behavior often fall short, and why effective work with narcissistic pathology requires attention to identity, relational process, and the integration of dissociated aspects of self-experience. https://linktr.ee/gatewaystoawakeningDear Community, What if losing everything was the moment that woke you up? In this episode of Gateways to Awakening, Yasmeen Turayhi sits down with entrepreneur, artist, and author Jeffrey Brian Grubert to explore a story that is far bigger than crypto. After losing $71,500 in a single afternoon to professional social engineers, Jeffrey found himself not just confronting financial loss, but something deeper—his beliefs around safety, trust, and control. What followed was an unexpected and almost surreal encounter with a former social engineer, now facing federal prison, who would go on to reveal how these systems really work.Together, they unpack the hidden mechanics of social engineering—how fear, urgency, and authority can override even the most intelligent and well-informed individuals. But this conversation goes beyond tactics.
